Raven: The Ice Queen.
Day 11.
Raven stood in front of camp, watching the fourteen warriors prepare themselves for today's trials.
" Last time, the penguins did the memory game, succeeded 3/4, earned three crystals, bringing their total to 29, the polar bears also earned 3 crystals in the catapults, bringing their total to 28, the seals collected all four crystals in the deep loch and earned a total of 38, and the wolves only collected one crystal in blind mans bluff, bringing their total to 18, now is a better time than ever for the wolves to pick up the pace", said Raven.
Day 11.
Team: Penguins.
Color: Blue
Members: 3.
Leader: Isabel.
Vice Leader: Dominic
Other: Bridget.
Crystals: 29.
Challenge: Dark Cave.
Isabel, Dominic and Bridget stood in front of a giant cave, Raven approached them.
" Warriors, welcome to the dark cave, a challenge that requires teamwork, and bravery, as there are many that can fear the darkness, but will usually have no choice but to overcome it, once you enter the cave, the entrance will collapse, trapping you, what you must do is find a hidden exit in the dark, what's also inside the cave are four pouches, each containing a gem, but beware, should any warrior remain in the cave too long, they will perish", said Raven.
He then left the group and the three warriors entered the cave.
Once they were all in, the entrance collapsed and they were trapped.
" Okay let's start finding out way out, everyone feel you way around, and walk slowly", said Dominic.
Going different ways, they began to search around, Bridget then felt one of the pouches and grabbed it.
" Hey guys I found a pouch", said Bridget.
" Good job Bridget", said Dominic.
Isabel began to feel envy, sure Dominic was vice leader, but wasn't she meant to be the leader for the penguins.
Dominic then felt around the second pouch, and grabbed it.
" I found one", he said.
" Excellent that's two, Isabel, how are you holding up", said Bridget.
" I'm doing fine", said Isabel.
Day 11.
Team: Polar Bears
Color: White.
Members: 3
Leader: Bethany.
Vice Leader: Michael.
Revived: Ben.
Crystals: 28.
Challenge: Leap of faith.
Bethany, Michael and Ben stood next to a giant tree, hanging above them, 20 feet from the ground is three pouches, two brown, one purple.
Raven approached them.
" Warriors, welcome to your next challenge, leap of faith, this challenge tests your courage, one at a time, each warrior will climb up this tree, and the once at the top, leap from the platform, to grab one of the pouches, but beware, should you fail to jump, or land empty handed, you'll be eliminated, the purple pouch is the team leader to get", said Raven, he then left the group.
" I'll go first", said Ben.
After he got a harness on, with a cord attached then climbed up the tree, and once he reached the top, he looked at the first pouch, and once he was ready, he jumped for it.
Successfully he got one of the pouches which had one crystal, and he landed safely.
" I'll go next", said Michael.
Michael then put on his harness and cord, and began climbing the tree, once he reached the top, he looked at the second brown pouch in front of him.
Once he was ready, he took a leap.
Unfortunately he missed and vanished before he landed on the ground.
Day 11.
Team: Seals.
Color: Purple.
Members: 4.
Leader: Samantha.
Vice Leader: Thomas.
Others: Charlie and Charlotte.
Crystals: 38.
Challenge: Pedestals.
Samantha, Thomas, Charlie and Charlotte stood at one ledge of a tall building, beyond the ledge are four giant pedestals with four brown pouches hanging in the middle above the pillars.
Raven approached them.
" Warriors, this next challenge tests your bravery and agility, what you must do is cross the pedestals, grab one pouch each, and make it across the other side, but beware, should any warrior fall off the pedestals, they will perish", said Raven.
He then left the group.
" I'll go first", said Samantha.
She went onto the first pedestal, so far so good, then she crossed the second, then the third, even though she had moments where she nearly stumbled, she made it halfway and grabbed a pouch, she only had 2 more to go, she made it across the fourth pedestal, and the fifth, and with one last leap, she made it across the other ledge.
" I made it, who's next", said Samantha.
" I'll go", said Thomas.
Raven wandered around the forest, trying to find the wolves, only to discover they're not found.
" Oh no, now the wolves have fallen victim to the cage traps", said Raven.
Day 11.
Team: Wolves.
Color: Grey.
Members: 4.
Leader: Oliver, (Revived).
Vice leader: Tabitha.
Other: William.
Revived: Sophie.
Crystals: 18.
Challenge: Cage traps.
Oliver, Tabitha, William and Sophie find themselves trapped in four different cages, inside each cage is a gem.
Raven then approached them.
" Warriors, it seems you have fallen for one of Nevar's traps, it seems those crystal were perfect for bait, but don't worry, in Oliver's cage is a set of key, four of them unlock the traps, what you must do is escape the traps before the time runs out, should any warrior remain in the cages for too long, they will perish, this challenge tests your speed, as well as how well you work under pressure", said Raven.
Once he left the group, Oliver began trying out the keys.
" Once I'm out Sophie, I'll go for you next", said Oliver.
Once he found the right key, he got out of his cage, with his gem, then he went to Sophie.
It took some time, but he managed to get Sophie out, with her gem, both Oliver and Sophie live to fight another day.
" Who do we go for next, William or Tabitha", said Sophie.
" Do William first, I'll be fine", said Tabitha.
" Are you sure", said Oliver.
" Yes, hurry or you'll lose us both", said Tabitha.
" Okay then", said Oliver.
He then began trying out the keys for William's cage, and they managed to get him out instantly.
" Excellent, now all that leaves now is to get Tabitha out", said Oliver.
And so, they began trying out as many keys as they can on Tabitha's cage.
It may have taken long than William, but they were able to get Tabitha out of her cage.
The four warriors left the challenge together, with all four of their gems, bringing them to a total of 22.
Back with the Penguins, they were still in the cave, and found two crystals, and there are still 2 more to grab.
Isabel then felt around herself trying to find something, and she did, she found the third pouch.
" I got one", said Isabel.
" Excellent, so we only need one more to go", said Dominic.
" Should we start finding a way out of here", said Bridget.
" Sure", said Dominic, he then, felt his way around, only to feel the last pouch.
" I found the last one", said Dominic.
" Good job, now let's get out of here", said Bridget.
Isabel then felt her way around, and then found a passage, leading to an exit.
" Hey guys, I think I found it, follow my voice", said Isabel.
" Good job Isabel", said Dominic.
And so, Dominic and Bridget followed Isabel out of the cave, and all three escaped just in time, with all four crystals, bringing them now, to a total of 33.
Back with the seals, Samantha had made it across the pedestals, and now it was Thomas's turn.
And so, Thomas made it across the first Pedestal, so far no failure, he then made it across the second, and the third, he grabbed another pouch and continued onward, he made it across the fourth and fifth pedestal, and finally he made it to the other ledge with Samantha.
" I'll go next", said Charlie.
Charlie made it on the first pedestal, so far so good, then he made it across the second, and then the third, by then he grabbed the third pouch, and proceeded onward, he made it past the fourth and fifth pedestal, although he nearly slipped off the fifth pedestal, but he made it across and was on the second ledge with Samantha and Thomas.
Now it was just Charlotte next.
Charlotte hopped onto the first pedestal, so far so good, then she hopped onto the second, and the third, she then grabbed onto the final pouch, and began continuing onward to join her friends, she then made it on the fourth, and the fifth, and then made it on the ledge to join the others.
The group then headed back to camp with all four of their warriors, and all four crystals collected, bringing their total to 42.
Back with the polar bears, Ben had just got a crystal in leap of faith, but Michael failed to grab a crystal and vanished, perishing for landing empty handed, and now it was Bethany's turn.
" I really don't want to do this", said Bethany.
" You have no choice I'm afraid, you have to", said Ben.
And so, Bethany, although reluctant, got on her harness and cord, and began climbing the tree, she reached the top and looked at the purple bag in front of her.
It was worth two crystals if she gets it, but if she doesn't, then Ben will continue the journey alone.
Taking a deep breath, she leaped off the platform, towards the purple bag.
And unfortunately, she too miss, and vanished before she landed on the ground.
Raven then approached Ben.
" Ben, you have a difficult choice to make, and there are four options, you can keep the gems and continue the remaining four days alone, or bring both Bethany and Michael back and sacrifice 16 gems, or only sacrifice 8 gems, and bring back either Michael or Bethany, make your choice", said Raven.
" Well, I really don't want to continue alone, and I would be wasting too many gems if I bought them both back, I'll buy one of them back", said Ben.
" And who will that be", said Raven.
" Michael", said Ben.
" Are you sure", said Raven.
" I'm positive", said Ben.
" Well them 8 gems is required", said Raven.
Once Ben took out 8 of the 29 gems his team recently got, Raven made them disappear with his staff, and Michael was brought back.
" Michael, you have been given a second chance, but I must warn you, fail again, and you'll perish for good", said Raven.
14th place: Bethany- Polar bear= Eliminated from leap of faith.
Ben and Michael sat at camp, being the only two polar bears left in the quest, Raven approached them.
" Ben, a few days ago, you said Michael and Bethany were going to face karma for not buying Jason back, was leaving Bethany an act of spite to avenge Jason", said Raven.
" No it wasn't, if it was, I would've left Michael as well", said Ben.
" Well then why did you bring Michael back, and not Bethany", said Raven.
" Between Michael and Bethany, Michael was a more reliable team player, and I feel it should've been him as team leader rather than vice leader, Bethany had let us down more times than Jason did overall, she hadn't proved her as a worthy team leader", said Ben.
" Michael, do you agree with Ben's decision", said Raven.
" Honestly, yes, I hoped all four of us would make it to the end, but then we lost Jason and Bethany, and while Jason had let us down in the Archery challenge, Bethany had let us down in many other challenges, so I would've agreed it was a fair decision to not bring her back", said Michael.
" Ben, do you forgive Michael for deciding to ditch Jason in the cage traps, or do you still hold a grudge", said Raven.
" Well, like I said before, I called it truce, and I think he got his karma already, he's on the same boat as me, we're both one slip up away from being eliminated permanently", said Ben.
" Well, best of luck that you both make it to the end of the trials, only four more trials to face", said Raven.
" After another day, the seals still lead the trials with 42 Crystals, the Penguins are in second with 33, the Wolves finally catch up and claimed third with 22 crystals, and the Polar bears aren't having a good day, they lose another warrior and are in last place with 21 crystals, Bethany may have made it this far, but unfortunate, she was not the warrior I was looking for, only 13 warriors remain, and only 4 more challenges to go, we are near the end, but we might lose a few more warriors before the trial is over", said Raven.
Next time on Raven the ice queen, the Penguins test their knowledge in the riddle path, the remaining two Polar bears Ben and Michael, also test their knowledge the gypsy tower, the Seals test their accuracy in archery, and the Wolves test their agility in the thrall threads, only 10 days remain till the end of the quest, and 3 warriors have perished, how many more will go before we get to the portal.
