Chapter 11- It's only love
Lily was in the library studying or at least trying to study the truth be told she couldn't quite study right now she had way too much on her mind right now. Lily couldn't stop thinking about James and how James was able to save Snape from Remus even though they were sworn enemies James had put that all aside and saved Snapes life and Remus from going mental because he might have killed Snape if James hadn't intervened. She couldn't believe especially that James would save Snape's skin after Snape had almost killed him not even two months ago and yet James had put that all aside and saved Snape from certain death. Normally Lily would study in the common room but James was usually there and if James was in the same room as Lily she would get no work done as she would get distracted by just looking at James and how incredibly handsome he is. After almost an hour of just thinking about James and barely getting any work done, she packed up and decided to go to dinner.
When Lily got down to dinner her Marlene and Mary were already there and the were sitting beside the marauders Lily couldn't help blush when James looked up and smiled at her when she came in and approached them. All through dinner Lily couldn't help but look at James for half of it and whenever James would look at Lily she would blush. Lily really didn't know why James made her feel this way she was normally able to keep herself from being this nervous around anybody but recently when she was around James she would get really nervous and start to blush around. This didn't go unnoticed between Mary and Marlene as they could tell that it was pretty obvious that Lily had started to have a little crush on James. After dinner ended the girls went back up to their dorm and it was at this point that Marlene and Mary decided to start questioning Lily about James.
"Lily you were blushing a lot at dinner what was up with that?" Mary asked
"I don't know what your talking about." Lily responded
"Oh, that's right I do seem to recall a lot of blushing at dinner tonight towards a fellow with glasses and messy hair." Marlene joined in
"I seriously don't know what you two are talking about." Lily repeated
"No, I think you know what we're talking about the fact that you couldn't stop blushing at James Potter during dinner today." Mary said
"Do you think that I fancy James Potter?" Lily asked
"No, we know that you fancy James Potter." Marlene said
"you too are off of your rockers." Lily told them
"Admit it" Mary said
"No, there is no way I fancy James Potter." Lily said in denial
"Admit it" both of them said
"Fine I fancy James Potter." Lily said in defeat and blushing
"we knew it" Marlene and Mary said together and then high fived each other.
"So, what makes you fancy James Lily?" Marlene asked
Lily responded by singing.

Lily finished singing and went to bed thinking how many butterflies she gets just when she sees James and hoping that James still had feelings for her.
