"So did we win now?" Michelangelo asks as Leonardo and Raphael cautiously go over to where the vortex was.
"Yeah. I think we did." Donatello says.
"We won." Raphael says.
"All right." Michelangelo shouts happily.
"Yeah!" Raphael says.
"We did it!" Alexis says as Donatello smiles at her.
"Yeah we did." Donatello says as he and Alexis hug before quickly pulling away blushing shyly.
"All right. That's what I'm about." Raphael says as the group sees Casey kissing April.
"Typical. We do all the work and he gets all the thanks." Raphael says.
"Aww. Now if only two others would fess up about each other." Michelangelo says as Alexis and Donatello look at him.
"Mikey!" Donatello and Alexis shout in union before looking at each other blushing.
"Okay.. did I miss something while I was gone?" Leonardo asks as he looks at Alexis and Donatello.
"You are every bit the warriors I was informed you were. You have passed. Savor your victory tonight. For soon we will have further business together. The kind that involves familiar faces from your past." Karai says as she goes over to the group while helping one of her soldiers.
"She doesn't mean..?" Raphael asks before Karai and one of her soldiers disappear in smoke.
"Come on! What is it with ninjas and smoke pellets?" Casey asks while coughing.
"Looks like you picked a good time to come home." April says as she goes over to Leonardo.
"Thanks for bringing me back." Leonardo says as the group hears sobbing and laughing before seeing Winters.
"Winters?" Raphael asks as he goes over to Winters.
"I'm never usually that happy to be in pain." Michelangelo says.
"He's happy because he's mortal again Mikey." Donatello says as the group walks over to Winters.
"April. I've had my eye on you for a long time." Winters says.
"I knew it!" Casey says as April looks at him.
"I've always known that you'd be the one to help me find my way home. And thank you brothers. You've made a very old man very very happy." Winters says happily.
"So what now?" Alexis asks as she shifts to human form before Winters disappears in a flash of light.
"Okay. Just a little bit creepy." Michelangelo says.
*Timeskip To The Next Night*
"Ah. Peace and quiet." Alexis says as she is laying in wolf form on a roof.
"Hey Alexis!" A voice shots causing Alexis to quickly jump up.
"And I spoke too soon." Alexis says as she looks to see the brothers.
"Sorry to bother you." Leonardo says.
"We just wanted to say thanks for your help." Raphael says as Alexis smiles slightly.
"No need to thank me. I've been wanting to get back into using my powers in a more productive way. Even if it was short lived it was still enjoyable. Besides you're my friends. I'd fight with you any time." Alexis says happily.
"Well we wanted to ask you about that. We were wondering if you would want to join our group? You faught well with us and we thought you would make a good new member." Leonardo says.
"Wouldn't you guys rather someone who's trained in the art of being a ninja rather than someone who has been family and self taught?" Alexis asks.
"Guess you'll just have to come live with us so we can teach you." Michelangelo says as Alexis gives a shocked look.
"Wait what? Are you guys serious?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Yeah. If you're interested. We've talked it over with Splinter and he is okay with it. He trusts you and we do too. So what do you say?" Donatello asks.
"Sure. I'd like that." Alexis says as she smiles and wags her tail.
"But I don't think you need much training for us apart from stealth wise. You're a pretty good fighter when you wanna be." Raphael says.
"Like I said before Raph. Don't underestimate me just because of my looks." Alexis says as she smiles triumphantly.
"Trust me I won't. Once was enough." Raphael says.
"You coming?" Leonardo asks as he and the brothers prepare to run off.
"Yeah." Alexis says as she runs off with the four brothers.
*A Week Later Timeskip*
"Hey guys." Alexis says as she walks into the lair late at night before Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo in the living room.
"Hey Alexis. Looking for Donnie?" Leonardo asks as Alexis nods.
"Uh yeah actually. I was hoping to talk to him about something. Where is he?" Alexis asks as she doesn't see Donatello anywhere.
"In his lab. Been in there all the mumbling to himself. Not sure what's up." Michelangelo says as he begins skating on his ramp.
"I'll find out." Alexis says as she walks to Donatello's lab and stops just outside the cracked door due to hearing him talking to himself as she then decides to listen in.
"I was wondering.. would you..Oh! Stupid stupid. That's terrible! She'd never say yes to someone asking like that. Oh who am I fooling? She wouldn't say yes to me anyway. We're too different. It'll never work." Donatello says as he sits in his chair.
"What wouldn't work?" Alexis asks as she comes in.
"Ah! Oh uh Alexis.. how long were you standing there for?" Donatello asks as he jumps out of his chair.
"Long enough. Who are you talking about and what about them wouldn't work?" Alexis asks curiously.
"I uh.. um.." Donatello says being unable to find the right words.
"Donatello please tell me what's wrong? I hate seeing you like this." Alexis says sweetly as Donatello looks at her and sighs in defeat.
"Do you truly want to know?" Donatello asks nervously.
"Yes." Alexis says as she goes over to him.
"Okay.. I'll tell you.. just please don't hate me afterwards." Donatello says worriedly.
"Donnie I could never hate you. Just tell me." Alexis says as she gives Donatello a soft expression.
"Okay. Here goes nothing. Alexis I was wondering would you want to be my girlfriend?" Donatello asks worriedly.
"What did you just say?" Alexis asks in shock.
"I knew it. I knew you wouldn't want to. I mean I'm a mutant and you look like a normal human. What kind of a relationship could someone like me give-" Donatello then gets cut off as Alexis kisses him on the lips before pulling away.
"I never said I didn't want to. I was just in shock. I didn't think you felt the same way that I do. I was actually on my way to talk to you about it. But yes Donatello. I will be your girlfriend." Alexis says as she smiles.
"You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that." Donatello says as he smiles.
"I got a pretty good idea." Alexis says as Donatello kisses her before pulling away.
"About time you two got together. Hey guys he finally asked her and she said yes!" Michelangelo shouts a she stands in the doorway before leaving as Donatello gives an annoyed look.
"You wouldn't wanna get outta here and go for a walk or something would you?" Donatello asks as he looks at Alexis.
"As long as I'm with you I don't care where or what we do." Alexis says as she smiles before leaving with Donatello.
