Chapter Nine: Shredder Has Power
Back with Shredder, nearly a day has passed, and he was back on what was left of the Technodrome, which he owns now due to Krang not being alive as of now. Shredder was with an army of Foot-Soldiers, which to an extent includes Rocksteady and Bebop.
"This is going to be my time! Once we return to New York in two hours, those turtles will be gone!" Shredder chuckles.
"You said it, Shredder!" Rocksteady replied.
"However, what about the Shinobi? How would we even know that they'll even be there with them?" Bebop asked.
"Not to worry, Bebop. I doubt very much they will be strong enough to withstand us. And now I have the secrets to obtaining Shinobi magic myself, I will reign supreme this time." Shredder explained.
"Wait a minute, what?!" Rocksteady exclaimed in shock.
"But, we killed all the Shinobi Warriors! How and when did you learn this magic?" Bebop asked again.
"Well, since I am in such a good mood, I will tell you. Do you remember when you killed their leader, Chung I? Well, one of the men who burned his house down? Before you and Rocksteady took Chung I out of the dojo, that man found this." Shredder explained, as he held a book in front of them.
"The True Guide To Shinobi Magic?" Rocksteady read the title of the book.
"But, Shredder, Shinobi magic is a very powerful thing to master. This may take you years to master this." Bebop mentioned.
"That is very true, but with me and my intelligence of things, this should be a cakewalk to learn." Shredder mentioned.
"And what exactly do you plan to do with this power?" Rocksteady asked.
"Well, there are very many possibilities I could do with this. Probably even mutate my Foot-Clan into vicious animals, we will just have to wait and see." Shredder explained.
"OK, boss." Rocksteady answered.
"Whatever you say, Shredder." Bebop added.
"I mean, even before this, I already have the power I needed, now Krang is dead." Shedder chuckles.
"How exactly did he die?" Rocksteady wondered.
"Yeah, one of his men just reported one day saying he had died. Never even made it to his android body." Bebop mentioned.
"You two want to know the real reason that he died?" Shredder asked them seriously.
"If that's possible..." Bebop started.
"Then, yeah." Rocksteady finished.
"Well then, I will tell you. The real reason that Krang died, was not because he got too old, or he dried up and dehydrated or whatever you lot think happened. He died, because I killed him!" Shredder explained sternly.
Rocksteady and Bebop stood there in shock, now knowing the truth about Krang's demise. They never thought it would have involved Shredder being responsible. They were very shocked indeed.
"You?! You killed Krang?!" Rocksteady asked in shock.
"But, why, Shredder?!" Bebop asked in shock also.
"Because that overpowering shrivelled up little pink prune has abused his power against me long enough! Always telling me to do this, always telling me to do that, he never granted me any requests when I really needed it, got so over demanding when he asked me to build him an artificial body, and also, I am Shredder! I should be the leader! Nobody tells ME what to do! Not even that pink blob, known as Krang!" Shredder explained.
"Oh my!" Rocksteady exclaimed in shock.
"You have a problem with that?!" Shredder asked, sternly.
"Oh no, no! It's just a shock, is all! We mean nothing by it, really. We just never thought you'd be willing to go as far as to killing the leader of the Technodrome to take over as leader. No, no! No, not to say that you wouldn't ever have the courage to do that, we just mean it's just come as a shock you know, we're believing he died of natural causes, then to find out it was you the entire time!" Bebop stated.
"Well, you were bound to find out the truth eventually. But right now, that doesn't really matter. All that matters now is that we make it to New York, and we find the turtles, find that Shinobi, and take over the city." Shredder stated.
"OK, Shredder!" Rocksteady stated in confidence.
"According to this map here, we are nearly in New York. We have half an hour left until we reach the location." Bebop stated, as he looked at the map on the computer.
"Excellent! Now Rocksteady, Bebop, go and alert the Foot-Soldiers that they are to be ready. You two better be prepared as well, because those turtles are not going to be easy to deal with. That Shinobi however, we can worry less about them. If their people and their master couldn't even withstand us, what chance would they have?" Shredder alerted them.
"Right away!" Rocksteady responded.
"Going to alert them, ASAP!" Bebop added.
After that, Rocksteady and Bebop ran out of the control room to alert the Foot-Clan to be ready for battle. Shredder looks beyond the horizon, and he sees the Empire State Building from afar.
"Foot-Soldiers, this is Bebop! Master Shredder has informed me to let you men know we are arriving in New York in thirty minutes! You are all to be prepared and ready for battle! This will not be an easy mission, but don't need to worry much, as Master Shredder has this all under control! Be ready!" Bebop announced through the intercom.
Shredder can hear the sound of the Foot-Clan chanting at the sound of this idea. Shredder continued to look at New York City from afar.
"Soon, turtles, you will be no more. For I am The Shredder, the most powerful ninja to have ever lived, and now, I have the power of Shinobi magic! And now you have no chance to stop me!" Shredder stated.
Shredder then chuckles evilly. This sounds like bad news for the turtles back in New York. What chance will they have against Shredder, now he holds the power of Shinobi magic? How will this end for the heroes?
