[Chapter 11] San Antonio

*** 2003 ***

It is February, Charly hasn't seen Shawn for about 3 month, she is already 5 month pregnant. But today will mark a special day in Charlie's life, the day she will find her forever home in the arms of her Sexy Boy. As they left the airplane on the way to checkout and pick up their luggage she got nervous. She had more luggage than usual, because she tried to have as much wardrobe packed as possible due to the fact that she didn't know how long the container would take to arrive in San Antonio.

[Charly..POV]

Hopefully this works out, I thought while taking off my luggage on to the little caddy. I shouldn't have packed that much stuff, too heavy. As got the caddie going Shawn already waited for me outside, oh jesus this angry face. Oh, Shawn is going to kill me.

[Shawn .. POV]

What the hell is she doing, the luggage is too heavy for her to carry. This woman is making me really crazy. When she comes out I am going to kill her.

[Shawn Joshuas … POV]

Mum in a nutshell, yeah dad will be happy when he sees that you are carrying that heavy stuff.

"Daaad!"

"Hi body, what for heaven's sake is she doing?"

"I know, that's mum in a nutshell. Wishing you already fun with that one, at least I am not alone anymore."

Shawn smiled at the little boy beside him, he really is a sunshine although his attitude really was reminding Shawn of someone he never liked.

"She is the strong one, yeah… Jesus mum… MUM! NO! Jesus Dad is going to kill you!" Josh screamed as he saw the on bag fall of the caddie and Charlie tried to put it back again.

"Dad, please those bags are really heavy, she already paid extra."

Shawn ran towards Charlie, but got stopped from security. Shawn just glared at the two young guys.

"Let me in there, my fiancé needs help. Or the two of you are going to help her, otherwise I will kill you both if something happens to those three."

One of the guys stepped aside and let Shawn pass. As he approached Charlie, he really was angry.

"Charlie, for God's sake. You can't do this."

"Jesus Christ…. Shawn I am just pregnant, I am not sick"

"Yeah honey, for sure you are 'just' pregnant, may I remind you that this is not just one baby yeah?"

"Shut up, Sexy Boy and give me a kiss"

Shawn laughed , settled his lips on hers and immediately felt this heat growing inside of him.

He cleared his throat "Honey, stop this. Our boy is waiting and I don't fix this without wanting you right here and now. So let's just pack this stuff and go home."

"Sexy Boy, became a gentleman, when did that happen?" Charlie just laughed put a softly kiss on cheek and whispered "Thanks honey"

She heard a scream: "Mum just stop this shit, you can do this when I am sleeping, I am hungry."

Shawn burst out in laughter "You really think he is a copy of ME, mhh? Sounds not like me at all, he is worse."

"Yeah, thanks, honey, remind me of that…. hormones already… just like his dad you know? Oh, if those two in there turns out the same way, I am going to kill you, Shawn Michaels, just saying."

Shawn knew if Charlie was calling him by his ring name she really was pissed. The last 3 month if she was referring to him, she did this by using Shawn Hickenbottom, which made him proud as hell. Shawn put Charlie's stuff in the back of his car, Charlie watched as Josh placed himself on the backseat. Before Shawn started the car he bent over to Charlie and kissed her one more time.

"Oh Jesus, adults can be so embarassing…."

"Young man, that's f*** enough, if I want to kiss YOUR dad I will do this and if you can't stand the sight, look the other way. I don't buy your behavior. It's not cool at all man, this will just cause you trouble in future, no, I will make your life a hell as long as you don't behave like a real gentleman, I don't fix two of you."

"Sorry mum…."

Shawn was astonished over this really heavy outburst, he wasn't used to Charlie getting that angry. The drive 'home' was quiet, Charlie had fallen asleep and Josh was reading.

"Honey? C'mon time to wake up, babe. We are home." Shawn tried to wake up Charlie but she just murmured something like "Go away…"

"I don't think she will wake up dad, she didn't sleep well the last few days."

Shawn carried Charlie bridle style into the house and laid her on the couch. Her boy's as Charlie would say by now, took out all the luggage and started together making breakfast.

"Dad no, no like that… Oh mum was right, you just have no cooking skills."

"Young man, don't…"

"Daad! You are burning the eggs…!"

"Jesus….shit."By Josh screaming in the kitchen, Charlie slowly woke up. As she was standing in the kitchen door she smiled with the sight of her boy's making something to eat together. But she h

ad to break this, none of those two really had cooking skills, although Josh at least could fix scrambled eggs by himself, without burning them.

"C'mon, guys let me do this, otherwise we are not eating anything, at least not today."

Shawn sighed as he saw Charlie coming into the kitchen and taking over the cooking problem. He felt saved and smiled as he loved to watch Charlie making food, cooking for 'her boys' was something Charlie loved so much. Shawn just could take his eyes off her. This small little lady, managing two "big guys'' as she hadn't done anything else her entire life, managing this boy with an attitude much worse than HBK ever was. Expecting two small ones, in this little bump of hers, she didn't know yet that they would turn out exactly the same. Shawn and Josh at least prepared the table.

"Young man…. just sit down and eat." Paige putting a small kiss on his forehead.

"Oh Jesus mum…. I'm not five anymore." Josh blushed heavily.

"Josh? You know what's coming next right?"

"Christ mum don't talk about school again… "

"Don't like school?" Shawn asked, amused. He knew where this was coming from.

"How for heaven's sake likes school, just keeps you away from life. I know that I will not need school for what I am wanna do in future."

"JOSH! I said NO! You know that…. you will not…"

"And what is this if I am allowed to ask?"

" ."

"Oh, good Lord help me with this please….."

Shawn laughed as he saw Charlie's reaction. It was more than obvious that Charlie had to be convinced that she would never be able to keep him away from Wrestling if wanted it that bad.

"Honey? "

"Yeah? What do you wanna say….. I can't keep him away? As if I wouldn't know that? I will just disown him, right maybe that works."

"No honey bee, it will not. Would have worked with me either back then.

"You mean to tell me that I really have to fix two of you? You really dare to threaten me?" Paige smiled as she put a soft kiss on his lips.

"I give up, I don't think those two will turn out any different from what I already have…. I am so screwed."

"Honey bee, as I remember right you said you love me."

"Yeah one, not four…."

"Oh I forgot to tell you, this evening we will have a 'welcome barbeque' form my girl."

"You mean they are all coming?"

"uhm, yes… "

"Oh yeah, fun - that will be cool… really all of them?" Josh….. Shawn laughed as Josh was excited as a little boy on christmas.

Half through the day, Charlie prepared everything to get the barbeque running smoothly. Start was planned for 6pm already 5.30pm Hunter showed up, with Kevin, Scott, and X-PAC. 10 minutes later, Mark was ringing the bell.

"I take this Shawn." Charlie was so excited to get to see one of her best friends again.

"MARK!"

"Hey Sweety. Wow, that's a bump. You got heavy, little lady." Mark smiled as he saw Charlie jumping into his big arms.A few minutes before 6pm the rest showed up. John, Jeff and Matt, Adam and Randy, Dave, Ric and all the others.

Meanwhile in the garden Mark asked Shawn."Everything ready for the big surprise?"

"Yes, just keep her busy for at least 30 min, Mark." Shawn prayed that this would workout.

"C'mon guys, barbeque in the garden, please that way." Charlie showed the way towards the garden and joined Mark at the grill.

"Food ready, Big Man?"

"Sweety, at least 30 minutes to go but you are welcome to help me." Mark, please let her stay then everything will go smoothly.

"Where is Shawn? Mark? Did you see him?"

Mark cleared his throat, "Restroom"

"Jesus, again…? Such an inflated ego…." Charlie rolled her eyes.

"Hey, it's your man and luckily not my problem. I think he will show up soon." Shawn came back at exactly 6.30pm, took a glas and made himself get the attention he needed. Shawn cleared his throat.

"Ok, welcome guys and thanks for helping me to make this welcome for my woman turning out like this."

"Mark, what the hell is he doing…"

"I don't know…"

Shawn turned to Charlie. "Honey bee, would it be a problem to join me here?"

As Charlie approached him, standing on his side, Shawn continued with his speech.

"As everyone knows, this little lady turned my head upside down already 11 years ago. Now after a long time waiting, I managed to get her home and I have no intention to let her go again." Shawn turned towards Charlie. Putting one hand in the pocket of his jeans, he was going down his knee in front of her. As Charlie saw Shawn, her eyes started watering of joy.

"Honey bee, 11 years ago, you know when we left the party… and really nothing happened. That night I fell in love with you. I was fighting and struggling to get you out of my mind after you send me away alone. I wasn't really lucky, so to say. But when I nearly lost you again 5 month ago, I knew I wouldn't be able to live without anymore. Charlie? I wanted to ask you tonight if you would be willing to spend the rest of your life with someone like me? Do you wanna be my wife and make me the happiest man on the entire planet?" Shawn looked at Charlie and started to shake, he prayed - please honey bee give me yes…..

Paige cleared her throat." Yes, Sexy Boy…." Shawn, as he had put the ring on her finger, lifted her up and kissed passionately.

"Ok everyone, let the party begin…" Mark broke the silence and the funniest party ever should take place just for Charlie.

*** fast forwards 4 month*****

"SHAWN! The bag …" Jesus honey at little hurry, no time.

Shawn tried to manage two things at the same time, finding this damn hospital bag and calling Mark.

"Mark, please I need you all to show up at the hospital, I am going to need support….."

"What's wrong, Shawn?"

"She is in labor and I am going nuts…."

"Ok I call the guys and pick up Josh and you just focus on Charlie, right."

"Thanks, see you later."

"Here I am, let's go, honey bee. Mark is picking up Josh from school."

About 3 hours later, Zachary and Sophia had joined this world. Shawn was sitting beside Charlie's bed and held one of their newborns in his arms.

They are just so perfect - such small little wonders - as perfect as their mum. Oh dear Lord, I am really the happiest man alive.

All the guy's and Josh had joined them. Seeing his parents that happy made Josh's eyes watering.

Mum is really happy for the first time in my life.

To have her 'boys' here and seeing them happy made Charlie cry. Charlie turned to Shawn. "I love you more than my life, Sexy Boy…"
