For today's special occasion, I will be doing a holiday-themed chapter of Trollstopia as my gift to all of you. Disclaimer- I do not own Trolls or Trollstopia in any way or form. Happy Trollsmas
Today was an extra special holiday on a crisp winter's day. It's Trollsmas Eve, the day before Trollsmas, the most wonderful time of the year. And this year was extra special because now that Trollstopia was in full swing, every troll from each tribe would get to share their holiday traditions, tightening the special bond of unity and diversification. There was snow everywhere you looked, and luckily, it didn't crush anything, making it perfect for walking and moving around. In the town square, decorations were flooded all over the buildings and pods, tied with garland, lights, beautiful red bows, and right at the center of it all, a huge pine tree that's itching be decorated. Every troll was bringing boxes of leftover decorations to help decorate the tree, as Aggie, who was left in charge of this task by Poppy, said to the line of trolls that were walking over the tree, "That's it, guys! Let's keep those ornaments and lights coming! This tree is going to be the best Trollsmas tree in the whole universe"! While many of the trolls have already started to decorate the bottom and were climbing ladders to do the middle section, the Classical trolls helped decorate the higher portions of the tree since they could fly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as suddenly, with Poppy, they broke out into a huge holiday sing-a-long, with Poppy and Branch leading.

Once Aggie placed the golden star on top, everyone stepped back to admire the result of everyone's hard work. The tree looked absolutely stunning, with the pretty tinsel shimmering like diamonds, the garland perfectly wrapping around the tree like a beautiful bow or a warm hug, even the ornaments that dazzled in the sunshine. And each set of ornaments were different since they came from the different types of music from each tribe. The Pop trolls had their normal colorful lights and shiny balls hanging on the tree. The Classical trolls contributed musical note shaped instruments, and they ranged from being black and shiny to gold and glittered. The Funk trolls contributed their funk-styled ornaments, which ranged from sweet shades, splotches of tie-dye colors, and even little spaceship themed ornaments. The Techno trolls also had balls, but there were glowing neon colors, and it would flash a different color in a consistent pattern, just like their spotlights in Techno Lagoon. The Country trolls contributed tiny bell ornaments, holiday-themed horseshoes, and even a lasso garland with little mistletoe pieces decorating it, going in the opposite direction of the pop troll's rainbow garland. The hard rock trolls went all out, contributing rock-themed ornaments such as guitars, skulls, even golden rock hand gestures. On top of that, they also brought red lights to go with the rainbow lights and even brought lava red-orange bows to decorate the tree.
Poppy commented, "Wow. I say this with every ounce of excitement in my body, but this is the best Trollsmas tree we've ever had." Branch nodded, saying, "You're right, Poppy. It looks really amazing." Synth was super excited as he flipped while saying, "You don't see a sight prettier than a raving tree with so many wonderful decorations on it like this! It's so...*make air horn noises*"! Low-Note Jones came over, saying, "It's surely a funky sight. So beautiful in its holiday glory." Buckaroo tossed her hat up in the air and caught it while saying, "Hoo doggy! Ay haven't done had this here much fun ovuurr thay holidays since ay were just ayy little buckling"! Val and Melody were coming towards Aggie as Melody commented, "Aggie, you really outdid yourself planning out the tree like this! It's gorgeous," as Val added, "Yeah, it's more than that, Melly. It's rocking," as she smashed a guitar out of happiness. At the same time, Melody snickered at Val's crazy way of showing excitement. Aggie couldn't help snickering either as she replied, "Thank you both. Back home in Harmonious Land, we know how to decorate for the holidays, and we go all out. so, you learn a thing or two that can be applied almost everywhere."
McJagger and Laguna came towards Aggie, Melody, and Val as the red funk troll said, "Plus, what makes this even more special is that there's so much diversity in the tree. All our different cultures coming together to celebrate this special holiday together. So much love to give and spread to others. That's my favorite part about the holiday season. Well, that and eating Trollsmas cookies by a warm fire and listening to funky tunes, of course." As the girls couldn't help but laugh, Aggie says, "Hey, hearing about McJagger's way to spend the holidays, it makes me wonder. How do you guys usually spend Trollsmas"? Melody looked at Val, who grew an anticipated smile and answered, "Well, back at Volcano Valley, what we do is that we usually open presents with our families, have a huge tribe potluck where everyone makes a special dish, and we all get to eat together, united as one. There's a troll we know back at Volcano Valley who makes possibly the greatest stuffed flavor berry you've ever tasted." Melody added excitedly, "I know! And with Demo's marshtato melee," as both rock trolls licked their lips and said in unison, "It's heaven," Aggie and McJagger seemed to be intrigued as Laguna wrote in her notepad, "Note: That is something I must try because it sounds really delectable." Val then continued with, "Then, Barb does a toast before smashing the table in half, which always gets us excited before finally, we do our most favorite tradition of all." Melody added, "Barb hosts an open holiday concert where every rock troll gets a chance to come up on stage and pout a hard rock spin on Trollsmas carols. It's so much fun! In fact, before, it was the one thing Val and I could do both together without arguing because it's our favorite tradition. Last year, Val and I did an epic rendition of Run, Run Rudolph that literally blew the roof off the volcano"!
Now, their friends were interested as Aggie asked, "Do you think maybe you can show us"? Val looked at Melody and asked, "Well, Melly, what do you say? Ready to roll"? Melody pulled out her red electric guitar and said, "Let's rock in the Trollsmas season, Val"! Val and Melody started to strum hard on their electric guitars and sing with a small crowd starting to develop.

Everyone was applauding really hard as Val and Melody smashed their guitars in unison and bowed at the audience. Poppy came running over, saying, "Wow! Incredible, you two! That's what I call caroling with energy"! Val chuckled and said, "We rock hard, right, Melly"? Melody nodded and fist-bumped her older cousin, saying, "Back at'cha, Va." Holly and Buckaroo came galloping over as Holly shouted, "We just heard y'all's perfawmance ya two! That there was some fancy holiday guitar a-playin'"! As Val and Melody nodded their heads in appreciation, Aggie asked, "Holly, Buckaroo, how do the Country trolls celebrate Trollsmas"? Buckaroo answered, "Whel, back at Lonesome Flats, we don't celebrate Trollsmas. We celebrate ayy different holiday that's similarly done called Roughin' It Day. The name may sownd ayy little deceiving, but some av our traditions are similar ta yours, except we celebrate outside ayn' camp out in the desert. We do ayy lot av fun things with our friends ayn' families, ayn' mowst av the activities are just like y'all's Trollsmas traditions." Holly added, "Buckaroo's right, y'all. We have ayy awful big barbeque cookout, we exchange gifts, ayn' at night, under the stars, we all gather around by ayy awful huge campfire ayn' sing country carols. Plus, something else that we do is that there we get ta share two things: something that we are grateful faw this year, ayn' ayy Roughin' It wish, which is something y'all hope happens in thay future. Country legends say if y'all make ayy Roughin' It wish under the brightest star in the sky, it's bound ta come true."
Everyone seemed to be impressed as Branch came over, saying, "We do something like that, but we call it a Trollsmas wish." Poppy added, "Legends say that if you wish on the Trollsmas star, it's bound to come true." Aggie then asked McJagger, "McJagger, do you have special holiday traditions as well"? He nodded, saying, "You got that right, Aggs. Back in Vibe City, we do something fun for Trollsmas called Secret Santa Troll, where we all pick names out of a hat, and we have to get the troll that we pick a special gift. While you might think it's something material-based, our gift to our Secret Santa is the gift of a song for us funk trolls. After all, you can express more with a song than with an item, no matter how valuable it may be. We also do a huge feast with our relatives, and in the end, we join King Quincey and Queen Essence in a sing-along as we all sing Silent Night as the roof window opens up and slows the stars up above. We also hang up little trees inside our rooms, and we have a little fun tradition where we leave a pair of sunglasses by our bedroom door, and in the morning, if you've been good, it'll be sitting in a pile of candy." Aggie and Melody licked their lips at the sound of candy as Poppy said, "Wow! Now that sounds like something we should try." McJagger chuckled and said, "Why not? While the funk trolls are the ones who mainly do it, this tradition is viable to everyone." Val then spoke up, saying, "So the Pop trolls throw a huge party, we rock trolls hold a concert, the Country trolls go camping, and the funk trolls do a secret Santa? What other traditions could there be"? Synth then joined up with the group, saying, "Well, back at Techno Reef, we don't normally celebrate Trollsmas. We have our own holiday: Partyfest! It's a crazy big holiday where we basically party all day! We have a huge underwater feast, we rave and dance all day and night till the dawn of the next day, we play a lot of fun underwater games such as whirlpool surfing, volleyclam, and freeze dance, and we put on this crazy light swimming show"! Laguna added, "Plus, in Partyfest, we do this fun tradition where before every beat drops, we swim and form a Partyfest coral formation, with the leader, Trollex, always on top, acting as the star of ur coral formation. Once the beat drops, we all allow the beat to take over, and we shine red and green, the color symbols of the holiday season."
Melody jumped up, saying, "Wow! That would be so cool to see! Imagine seeing the Techno trolls flash red and green like Trollsmas lights"! Aggie blushed as she imagined seeing Trollex flashing red and green, just like a Trollsmas tree. She giggled while blushing as Low-Note Jones asked, "So, Poppy, do you have anything special planned tonight for Trollsmas Eve tonight"? Poppy nodded while saying, "You know it"! With Aggie's help, we're going to plan a huge holiday bash. We'll have a potluck, just like the rock trolls, and have everyone bring a signature dish to share. Then, we'll put on a show with everyone doing fun holiday skits and performances. Synth has asked some of the Techno trolls to put on a special light performance as we do a countdown and light up the tree. Finally, just before the fireworks show, I'll be singing a special song and revealing a special surprise during the performance, and then we launch the fireworks, closing Trollsmas Eve night with a bang! Literally"!
Aggie chuckled as Val playfully rolled her eyes, saying, "Leave it to Popsqueak to come up with a crazy, extravagant party for a special occasion." Melody commented, "Well, you can't blame her. Trollsmas is a special holiday, so of course, you want to do something special to celebrate." Aggie then felt a vision coming. In the vision, she saw Poppy looking really sad, wrapped in a blanket with a thermometer in her mouth and nose so red, it could rival Rudolph's. she coughed a couple of times before saying in a raspy voice, "I won't be able to perform tonight. You'll need to do it." Once Aggie returned to normal and looked at Poppy in worry as Melody looked at Aggie, asking, "Everything alright? You looked like you just saw a ghost." Aggie shook her head, saying, "I'm fine," but deep down, she knew that somehow, Poppy was going to get sick and won't be able to perform tonight. While Poppy was dressed warmly in a festive periwinkle holiday dress with snowflakes and a blue headband, a purple heavy coat over it, and a candy-cane striped scarf, she still feared Poppy was going to get sick. There had to be something she could do to make sure that vision did not come true, at any cost. She then perked up and said, "Hey, Poppy. I know you're going to check on the Techno light show performance, but why don't you let me check on it? You still need to see if Satin and Chenille have your outfit for the evening made so you can try it on, right"? Poppy thought for a minute before saying, "I do, actually. That would be really helpful, Aggie, thanks"! Poppy gave Aggie her clipboard and went to see Satin and Chenille while Melody said, "While Aggie and Poppy are busy setting up for tonight's party, let's all have some fun today"! Melody grabbed Val by the hand as they both ran to go toboggan racing at the nearby snowy hill. McJagger held Laguna's hand as he softly asked her, "Shall I escort you, m'lady"? Laguna blushed and nodded as they both started to head down to the lake to go ice skating.
Holly then asked Buckaroo, "Since we still gotta cook faw the feast, ya maand a-lendin' ayy hand in the kitchen? Ay'm a-makin' ayy wild'n'wooly pot roast." Buckaroo tipped her hat and said excitedly, "Sure thing, Holly. Ay need-ta get started on my western watermelon kabobs anyways." With that, both country trolls began to trot away to work on their meals for the feast, leaving Low-Note Jones to say, "Since everyone else is either busy or off to enjoy Trollsmas Eve, I'm going to go practice my performance with Smidge. We're doing a poem for tonight's show. Catch you later, and always remember. Stay funky," as he winked and left to go find smidge, leaving Branch with Aggie. Branch looked at Aggie as she said, "Well, I' can't get anything done if I am standing here. I got to go check on the light show." However, before Aggie could leave, Branch stopped her by saying, "Wait! Before you go...I need to tell you something important. But you cannot tell anyone, not even Poppy. Ok"? Aggie nodded and flew closer to Branch, saying, "Of course, Branch. What's up"? He looked around before pulling out a small black box from his pocket, saying, "I want to show you my gift for Poppy. Let m know what you think," as he slowly opened it, revealing a pink diamond-encrusted ring. Aggie awed over it as she said, "It's so pretty. Wait...if you're giving her this ring, does that mean...oh my troll"! She looked around before whispering loudly in Branch's ear, "You're going to propose to her"?!
Branch blushed and slowly nodded, whispering, "Yes. It's taken me a lot of courage, but I am finally going to ask her to marry me." Aggie wanted to squeal and shout in excitement from the top of her lungs but knew that Branch wanted to keep this as a surprise, so she did her best to keep a calm composure and said, "She's going to love it." On the inside, she was a bubble full of excitement and energy, ready to burst. Branch smiled and said, "It took me months to perfect this ring, but I think that she's going to love it." Aggie replied, "Trust me, Branch. She'll love it. And don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Branch smiled as he went to do something, leaving Aggie to quickly grab a bucket full of marshmallows and scream into it, muffling her scream so that it only sounded like a squeak. Once she felt like all of it was let out, Aggie skipped over to check on the Techno Trolls, saying, "This is going to be the best Trollsmas Eve ever," as for a while, she almost forgot about the vision she had earlier of Poppy getting sick.
At the lake, a bunch of trolls were figure skating and gliding across the ice. McJagger was putting on two ice skates as he asked Laguna, "So, have you ever been ice skating before"? She shook her head, saying, "Not really. I've seen other trolls doing it but never had the chance to try it. Besides, it's not like it would be easy considering I don't even have any feet. So putting on skates would be pointless." McJagger chuckled as he replied, "You don't have to worry about skates. Your flat fins will help you glide on the ice like skis. It'll be fun, I promise." McJagger started to go onto the ice and skate like a natural as he ushered Laguna to join him, saying, "Come on. Give it a try." Laguna slowly placed one of her fins on the ice to feel how slippery it was before giving herself a push. She stumbled and slipped a bit, finding it hard to keep her balance. She fell and almost landed on her back of not for her boyfriend catching her, saying, "I slipped like that when I first learned how to ice skate too. No one gets it right away on the first try. You just need to practice a little. I'll help." McJagger helped Laguna up and held her by both hands as she was facing him, asking, "Alright, I am standing. Now, what"? He smiled, responding, "Push your feet slowly to help you glide across the ice. Think of it like marching. I won't let go until your ready, Laguna." With that, Laguna gave a push as she moved with McJagger, who praised her by saying, "Just like that, mama. Nice and slow. Take it easy, and you'll get the hang of it."
Laguna was starting to get the hang of it as she said, "Note: This is...kind of fun. really fun." Seeing Laguna smile and enjoy herself made McJagger smile too as he moved next to her, placing a gentle arm around his girlfriend, and said, "See? And you know what goes great with ice skating? A romantic, groovy holiday song." He then sang out a beat as he and Laguna skated hand in hand, as the trolls on the ice spotted and watched the romantic couple.

As they skated around the lake, Laguna gained more confidence in her ability to skate and even started to do it without his assistance. Then, with McJagger's help, they started to glide and dance on the ice, like professional skaters. All the bystanders watched as they danced and spun in each other's arms. The best part was when McJagger tossed Laguna up into the air as she pirouetted back down into his arms as the funk troll swung her around slowly before they skated in unison, hand in hand.

After skating for a while, Laguna and McJagger were sitting by a bench, watching the other trolls skate. As McJagger was taking his skates off, he asked, "So, you had a fun time out on the ice"? Laguna nodded, saying, "Note: it was an excellent experience to see what it would be like for a Techno troll to walk on top of frozen water rather than be swimming under it." A crisp gust of wind blew past them as Laguna quickly brought rubbed her arms and shivered slightly, tightening her blue and green scarf in response. McJagger asked in concern, "Feeling a little chilly"? Laguna nodded, replying, "A little. Previously, when my hair used to be longer, aside from covering the scars on my back, it also acted sort of like a blanket for when it got chilly underwater." McJagger chuckled as he then pulled out what looked like a wrapped present, saying, "Maybe this will help you stay warm then." Laguna curiously lifted the lid and gasped in awe at what was inside. It was an indigo-dark blue tie-dye jacket in a similar style to McJagger's jacket. And it was just her size. She picked it up, saying with excitement, "It's beautiful! I love it, McJagger"! He then said, "That's not the best part. I had the people who made it customize something for you on the back. turn it around to see." When Laguna turned the jacket around to look, she saw that in rainbow letters was "I'm my own master," the same words Laguna said when she first showed everyone her scars after she had Melody cut her hair about a week ago.
Happy tears began to form as he tried it on, saying, "It's the best gift any troll could ever get. Thank you so much, Jagger." McJagger brought Laguna close to him., allowing her to lay her head on his chest as he said, "You're welcome, Laguna." Then, McJagger and Laguna heard what sounded like fluttering as they looked up and saw that Dante was eagerly hovering over the happy couple, holding what looked like a piece of mistletoe. McJagger blushed a deep shade of crimson as Laguna stated, "It appeared the subject is trying to get us to partake in another Trollsmas tradition. When two trolls who love each other under the mistletoe, they share a kiss." McJagger recovered from his blushing as he said, "Well, this is a little unexpected, but then again, it is a special tradition, and-," but just before he could finish, Laguna interrupted McJagger by locking lips with him, the two trolls sharing a romantic holiday kiss. At the same time, Dante watched and said, "So beautiful! Surely a most impressive sight on such a beautiful Trollsmas Eve day."
Back in town, Low-Note Jones and Smidge were practicing their poem, the light show performers were practicing their routine, and Aggie was making sure that everything was in order. Many trolls were either busy cooking, practicing their skits or performances for the show, or enjoying the fun winter day. However, Aggie still could not shake this feeling that her vision was going to come true, but before she could ponder on a solution, Rhythm came over, saying, "Aggie, thank goodness you're here! Come on,"! Aggie and Rhythm started to run as the Magical Musical Troll asked, "What's going on"? Rhythm just responded, "No time to explain! We need to hurry,"! As they soon made it to the tree that held Aggie's pod, Aggie started to ask, "Is something wrong? Where's Poppy-," but noticing what was going on. She had to stifle her laughter and try to hide her blush as she saw that Trollex was waiting for her, saying, "Happy Trollsmas, Aggie"! He was wearing a Santa Troll hat, his arms were in a red and green pattern instead of the normal rainbow, and his heart was also in the same color scheme. After laughing for a good minute, she asked, "Trollex, what is all this"? He said, "Well, I wanted to surprise you, so Troll Harmony and I put together a little number. This one's for you, Aggie. I hope you like it." Melody, Laguna, Holly, Rhythm, and Blues got in position as they began to harmonize a melodious beat while Trollex held what looked like a microphone in his hand.

Aggie was blushing as red as an ornament and trying to hold back her tears of happiness as she then exclaimed, "This is...the BEST...GIFT...I'VE EVER GOTTEN"! She ran and tackled Trollex, diving him into the snow as they both hugged one another tightly, sharing a kiss at the moment. Her friends watched and laughed as Holly commented, "Talk about ayy sudden ayn' awful happy reunion! She done ran faster than ay does faw free funnel cake." Melody added, "Young love, a treasure and gift so precious, it outshines the brightest diamond." Laguna nodded and said while blushing, "You can say that again, "as she held the end of her new jacket, courtesy as a Trollsmas gift from McJagger. Trollex and Aggie remained in each other's arms for a couple more seconds before they both got up. The Techno leader asked nervously, "So, did you like it"? Aggie readjusted his hat while saying, "I loved it. Thank you." Before the happy couple could kiss one another again, Melody then cleared her throat before saying, "Ok. I love watching you both be lovey-dubby, but Aggie, don't you have to check on the rest of the things on Poppy's list"? Aggie remembered as she picked up her clipboard as Trollex said, "I should go too. Synth is helping me make a Techno Treat classic for the feats tonight: sugar kelp cakes and neon nummies. You'll love them, Aggie, especially their little trick for when someone eats one. Catch you guys later tonight," as he went to go see his brother. Melody then looked at her watch before saying, "Ooh! I have to rush home. My mom, Val, and I are making our favorite hard rock dish: jalapeno poppers with dipping sauces and fireballs. Not actual fireballs, but it's these little meatballs we cook to the highest perfection and use a secret spice to give them a kick. See you guys," as Melody ran back to Rock Hollow.
Rhythm then said, "B and I should also start heading out. We're whipping up our sweet and sour berry marmalade and music key lime pie." Blues added, "So, we'll see you tonight," as the funk trolls/sisters/best friends started to head out too. Aggie then faced Laguna and asked, "Say, Laguna, if you're not busy, you want to join me in helping me finish off the checklist"? Before Laguna could answer, her mom Twilight came up to them, saying, "Good arvo Aggie, and Happy Trollsmas"! Aggie smiled and replied, "Happy Trollsmas, Ms. Tidepool," as Laguna came up to her mom excitedly, saying, "Hi, mom! Happy Trollsmas"! As the two shared a quick hug, Twilight noticed the new jacket as she said, "Dang, that's a real ripper of a jacket you got there, Laguna. Did ya little darling give to ya"? Laguna's face flushed into a crimson blush as she said, "Mom," while her mother chuckled while saying, "I'm just messing with ya, kelpcake. But in seriousness, it's a really nice gift he gave ya. Makes you lucky to be dating such a kind-hearted troll, am I right"? Laguna nodded, still blushing deeply, as Twilight then said, "Anyhoo, kelpcake, I thought that since this is our first Trollsmas/Partyfest together, we'd make something for the feats together"? Laguna looked at Aggie, who smiled and said, "Go on, Laguna. I can take care of the rest of the list myself. You should go spend time with your mother." Laguna smiled before facing her mother, saying, "Yes! I'd love to help, mom." Twilight tipped her fedora as she said with excitement, "Crikey! We're going to have a lot of fun, Laguna"! Laguna then came up to her mom with a mischievous smile and said, "Almost as fun as this," before touching her mom's nose and saying, "You're it," as she zipped past her. Twilight became determined and said, "Oh, it's on, ya little whippersnapper! I'm coming after ya," as she chased after her daughter, leaving Aggie to look over her list and walk back into town.
Hours passed, and as the sun was starting to set, everyone was starting to bring their dishes to a huge table next to the tree, lined with a long row of multiple chairs, enough for everyone. Some of the workers were checking the stage while others were adjusting the stage lighting. Meanwhile, everyone seemed to be in a celebratory mood as Aggie, too, felt excited. However, something in her stomach was telling her that there was a high chance of something going wrong, and she was about to get her answer. Biggie came running to her, shouting, "Aggie! Aggie! You have to come quick"! As he stopped to catch his breath, Aggie asked, "What's wrong? Or is this another surprise someone planned out"? Once Biggie could breathe again, he said, "It's for real, this time! It's Poppy"! Mentioning her name, Aggie realized that her vision was highly likely to come true as she said, "Then, let's go"! They both ran to her pod as fast as they could, and the minute Aggie entered inside, her heart knew that the vision was right. Surrounded by Smidge, Satin and Chenille, DJ Suki, and Cooper, Poppy was sitting in a chair. Her feet were dipping in warm water. She was wrapped in a blanket and had a thermometer sticking out. She let out a huge sneeze as Aggie whispered, "I was right," before asking, "What happened"?!
Smidge explained, "After her outfit was created and tried on, she decided to go check on Synth, but the lily pads that were usually on his pond were frozen under a sheet of ice. she tried to walk carefully across the ice, but before she could make it back, it broke, and she fell under." DJ Suki added, "We tossed her a rope so she could climb out, but it was too slippery to get a grip, and she was freezing. Then Cooper made a soft, sticky path out of his cupcakes and walked across it, allowing Poppy to grab his neck and pull her out just in time." Satin explained, "We wrapped her up in a towel, then the blanket, and kept her warm inside her pod," as Chenille added, "And we thought she would be better soon until we heard her say," as Poppy interrupted their explanation with a loud sneeze, leaving Chenille to reply, "That." Biggie then said, "Now, Poppy's caught a nasty cold." Aggie was saddened as she said, "That's terrible! Does that mean she won't be able to perform tonight"? Everyone shook their heads no as Poppy coughed before saying in a raspy voice, "But...I have to. Every troll's been waiting all day for tonight, and I have to reveal the special surprise." Aggie said, "Your health comes first, Poppy. As much as it pains me to say it, we can't let you go out there like this."
Poppy coughed again before saying, "In that case...you'll have to do it." Aggie gasped in shock as she said, "Me?! B-But I haven't performed a solo before! I've usually done performances with you guys or other friends"! Despite being sick, Poppy was able to croak, "Aggie, listen to me. You're the Master of All Music. You're one of the best performers here! I know you can *cough-cough* do it. Please. I'm counting on you." Seeing the sickly but pleading look in her eyes, Aggie took a deep breath as she said, "Ok. For you, I'll do it"! That made everyone feel relieved as Poppy sneezed before raspily saying, "It's...Where Are You, Trollsmas? The song is Where Are you Trollsmas? I know you will do a great job. and no matter what happens, just...keep...singing." Aggie nodded and said, "I promise, Poppy," as she, Biggie, Cooper, and Smidge, went to join up with the other trolls while Satin, Chenille, and Dj Duki helped make sure Poppy would recover from her cold.
Outside, Everyone has settled in and has started the feast. Seeing each troll try a different thing from each tribe was a heart-warming sight to watch. Plus, the food was really delicious. Val had bitten into one of Trollex and Synth's neon nummies as she says, "This is pretty good," as Synth then said, "If you think that's cool, you should see what they do. Stick out your tongue." Val stuck out her tongue, which was revealed to be glowing neon red as Melody said in disbelief, "Oh my troll! Your tongue's glowing red, Val"! Val looked and smiled, saying, "Cool! I look fierce and edgy with this bad boy," as she did a rock face while sticking out her glowing tongue. Synth and Melody laughed while Melody commented, "Ok, Val. Put your tongue back in before we lose our appetite." Twilight had tried one of Val and Melody's fireball meatballs when she felt her face heat up, and when she opened her mouth, a puff of black smoke came out. She smiled and shouted, "Crikey! Those tasty fireballs are hotter than the sun at the Saharan Troll Desert! Mal, you got to show me the recipe," as Melody's mom replied, "I'd be more than happy to show you."
Buckaroo bit into a key lime pie as she tossed her hat up and shouted, "Yeehaw! This here is the best music key lahm pie ay've evuurr tasted," as Low-Note Jones said, "Glad to see R and B has pleased you. Meanwhile, I am digging this great wild'n'wolly pot roast you and Holly made. Mind telling me your secret"? Buckaroo tipped her hat as she said, "The only secret is that it tastes best when cooked with someone y'all care faw, ayn' loves is what brings out the best flavors." Melody bit what looked like lasagna as her face turned red and white smoke whistled from her ear. She smiled, shouting, "Wow! This is the best lasagna I've ever eaten." Laguna commented, "My mom and I made it. It's an old family recipe her grandfather used to make. She calls it a Spicy Salsa Finger Lickin' Lasagna because once you try one, you just want to ask for more." McJagger then asked, "I can tell. You mind passing the tray over so I can serve myself another piece? It's delicious, Laguna and Ms. T." Laguna blushed and smiled in embarrassment while passing him the large tray as Twilight said, "Aw, ya welcome. We had a lot of fun makin' it together, right kelpcake"? Laguna nodded, replying, "The best."
Meanwhile, Aggie was picking at her food as Trollex noticed this and asked, "Hey, are you feeling ok"? Aggie shook her head while saying, "I'm fine, just thinking about things, but I'm ok, really." Trollex didn't seem to buy it, but Aggie seemed determined to show that she was ok. So he played along, saying, "Ok, just making sure," while deep down, he wanted to know what was bugging her. After the feast was over, everyone was beginning to find their seats in the audience. Val had her hands over her stomach as she said, "Man, that was a delicious feast. My stomach feels like a mosh pit," as Melody added, "You said it, though I think my mosh pit may have been overfilled," as she let out a small hiccup, making Val chuckled in amusement. While in the crowd, Aggie sat in silence and prayed that it was lucky that Branch was hosting the show because she did not want him to worry about Poppy if she wasn't there to start it. As the lights dimmed and a spotlight was shined in front of a curtain, Branch came out, wearing a green, sparkly tuxedo with a red bow tie and black dress pants. Everyone started to applaud as Branch said into a microphone, "Thank you, Trollstopia, and welcome to tonight's Trollsmas Eve show! We got a lot of great acts and performances for you tonight, so sit back, relax, and let's get this holiday show on the road! to stat thins up, reading a poem called "The Spirit of Trollsmas," give it up for Low-Note and Smidge"! As Branch walled off behind the curtain, it rose and revealed Smidge and Low-Note Jones, ready to deliver their poem. As the delivered with great emotion and acting, Aggie was very nervous but knew that this was for Poppy. So, she just had to shake off those nerves, put her game face on, and do the best she could.
The night felt like it flew, as so many great acts and performances took the audience by surprise. Smith and Guy Diamond did a pop/rap rendition of Let it Snow, Rhythm and Blues reenacted a scene from the Trollsmas movie Holiday Hullabaloo, Mal, Melody, and Val amped the crowd up with Jingle Bell Rock, and as the title says, rocked the stage. Cooper told some holiday-themed jokes which got the crowd laughing, Buckaroo, Holly, and Gust sang Santa Troll, Tell Me, and Demo even did a spoken word on the origin of Trollsmas, which emotionally moved the crowd and earned him a loud, standing ovation. Acts and performances just like those and so many more went on, and soon, once the second to last act was close to finishing, Aggie waited for her turn backstage. She was wearing a light blue dress with silver glitter snowflakes covering it, which matched her wings. She wore her hair down and had a silver headband with a piece of holly on the right. On her feet, she wore clear glass slippers that could easily be mistaken for ice. She took a deep breath and was trying to have her mindset ready when Trollex came over, saying, "Hey, Aggie." She froze and turned around and asked nervously, "Trollex, what are you doing here"? His answer stunned her, saying, "Well, first, before I tell you, I...heard about what happened. About Poppy getting sick. And I also heard that you were going to take her place and sing tonight's finale." Aggie gasped, but before she could say something, he placed a finger on her lips, saying, "Doesn't matter how I know, what matters is...I can tell that you're nervous. You're usually not always the center of attention, and now that the spotlight's been put on you, you feel like your back is against a wall, and it's making you nervous. But I know what you are capable of. Aggie, you're more talented than you realize. The troll that I fell in love with is brave, not afraid to stand up for herself, kind, and willing to get bitten by a snake to save someone she loves. You can do it. you've shown us time and time again what you can do, and now, use that...and put on a heck of a performance."
Aggie smiled as now, this time, Trollex brought her into a romantic kiss, and they didn't even need mistletoe to do it. He then said, "And, now to tell you why I'm here, the answer is right behind you." Aggie turned around and gasped in shock and awe at what she saw. Back on stage, Branch appeared as he said to the applauding crowd, "Give it up for Biggie, every troll"! Biggie and Mr. Dinkles bowed as they exited the stage while Branch said, "Now, as sad as I am to say that all good things must come to an end, we have reached our closing act. This one is extra special because a surprise set will make all of you stand up on your feet and shout, "Woah"! So please, give a big hand for our closing act, I give you, Queen Poppy"! Every troll in the crowd applauded as the curtain started to open, but then, the cheers went silent and became confused murmurs. Branch then noticed why the cheers were abruptly cut short. It wasn't Poppy on the stage, but Aggie. The Magical Music Troll adjusted the microphone on the stand as she said, "Uh...hi guys. Um...I'm sure you were all expecting Poppy...I know I was. But...I have some sad news. She earlier caught a bad cold and was not able to make it tonight." The crowd became surprised, shock, and concerned, especially Aggie's friends and Branch, more than ever. Still, Aggie reassured them by saying, "However...however, she appointed me to help close the show...and as sad as I am that she isn't here to listen to it now, I'm going to perform it as if she was. So, I hope you enjoy it, and I thank you for your time and patience." The crowd applauded Aggie for her confidence as she grabbed the mic, signaled Synth, who was managing the music, to start playing the song. He clicked a button as the song to Where Are You Trollsmas started to play. Aggie closed her eyes, listened to the beginning, then opened them as she started to sing with a smile.

It was then that the surprise was released, and the audience gasped and got up in shock and awe. As the tree was turned on and the lights shined, some special trolls joined up with Aggie on the stage, and they were doing acapella music along with her. Synth had turned the song off from him as the voices took over. These trolls were the other music tribes and the 6 main music tribes' leaders, except for Poppy. You had the K-Pop gang (consisted of the leader Wani, Ari, Gomdori, Baby Bum, and Kim Patil), The Yodelers (Hickory and Dickory), The Reggaeton Trolls (Tresillo, Marimba, and Tambora), even Chad the Smooth Jazz troll. As for the leaders, you had King Quincy and Queen Essence, accompanied by Prince D and Cooper (Funk), Trollzart (Classical), Delta Dawn (Country), King Trollex (Techno), and even Barb (Rock). Melody and Val were in disbelief to see Barb doing acapella with the other leaders, while Holly and Buckaroo's jaws dropped in shock when they saw Delta harmonizing with Aggie. McJagger cheered and shouted, "Go, Quincy and Essence," as Laguna chuckled while shouting, "You got this, Trollex"! Dante applauded and said, "sing, Maestro Trollzart, sing"! Aggie quickly glanced at her friends as they continued the performance, with Prince D beatboxing, Quincy handling the bass notes with Tresillo, and everyone harmonizing along with Aggie.

The audience was silent for a minute before everyone jumped out of their seats and applauded, cheering really loudly. Aggie, the tribe leaders, and the other subordinate music tribes bowed as Aggie felt the proudest of all. As she looked up, she could see a slowly recovering Poppy look down at her through the window, feeling extra proud for putting on such an outstanding performance. Branch then walked up onto the stage as he said, "Give it up for Aggie, the tribe leaders, Chad, The Reggaeton Trolls, the K-pop gang, and the Yodelers"! The cheering and clapping went on for a while as Branch then said, "Now, I said that this would be our closing act, but there's one more thing that I must do. Poppy, if you're in your pod, can you please either come or open a window, whichever one that you prefer"? Everyone looked up and saw that Poppy had opened the door to her pod as Branch then used his hair to project himself in front of her while a spotlight shined on the couple. He then said, "Poppy, while you recover from your sickness, allow me to tell you something I've been keeping inside. Poppy...you mean more to me than anything else in the world. When we first met, I thought happiness was a joke and that life was not worth living until the day you got me to come out of my shell, or bunker in reality. You've shown me that I really can be happy and that I can sing, dance, and express myself in ways I never thought were possible. Even on my worst days where I wanted to be alone, you were somehow by my side, comforting me, helping however you could. And yes, while we may not be perfect, I think...we are perfect for each other. With that," as he knelt and pulled out the box from earlier and opened it, revealing the engagement ring. Everyone looked on in shock, disbelief, excitement, and wonder as Poppy became speechless, covering her mouth and trying to hold back the tears that started to develop. Branch then asked, "Queen Poppy, will you marry me"? It was silent for a good solid minute before Poppy said a raspily but clear, "Yes," into the microphone.
Everyone jumped up and cheered in excitement as Branch, not caring that Poppy was still sick, hugged her tightly and then kissed her. He had Poppy try it on. Poppy thought it was so cute as she and Branch kissed again, every troll in the universe happy for the two to get hitched finally. After the show had come to an exciting end with a massive fireworks display, most of the trolls have started to walk home and fall into bed for Trollsmas tomorrow. However, a few trolls were meeting up with the leaders, mainly the ambassadors and some of the delegates. Val and Melody joined up with Barb as Melody exclaimed, "Barb! It's so great to see you again," Val smiled, commenting, "Didn't think you'd be coming for the holidays and singing acapella with Aggie." Barb grinned, saying, "Well, you know I'd do anything for Popsqueak and Aggie. They're awesome friends, through the craziness and the antics. Also, this gave us the chance to see the famed Trollstopia that Trollex was yammering nonstop about, and let me tell you, it's awesome in here"! Melody and Val chuckled as Barb swung her arm around Melody and asked, "So, how has my ambassador been, and more importantly how has she been treating you"? Melody puffed her chest in pride, saying, "Well, she's been doing great work, and...we finally connected. We're now as close as they come, though we sometimes have our small off days." Val added, "Yep. Melly helped me open my eyes and learn to listen and be not only a better friend but a better cousin." Barb smiled in pride, saying, "Great to hear. It seems that Trollstopia has done some good for you both, and I can't wait to send other rock trolls here so they can learn what you guys have."
With Trollzart, Dante was saying, "Oh maestro, you were excellent as always up on that stage. You really surprised us all with your appearance." Trollzart bowed and said, "Thank you, dear friend, but how has your experience here been? I have heard many good things about this place. Tell me all the details." Dante said proudly, "Oh, there's so much I want to talk to you about." Meanwhile, Holly and Buckaroo were galloping to Delta, with Holly shouting, "Wowee, Delta! Nevuurr did thought ay see the day y'all sing something othuurr than country. That there was amazing"! Buckaroo added, "Yeah, boss. Y'all mighty tapped into y'all's musical elements up on that there stage with our little friend." Delta smiled, saying, "Aw shucks! Thanks, partners. how has y'all tahm here in Trollstopia been? Ay've been a-dyin' ta come visit evuurr since Trollex told us about his experiences." Holly smiled, saying, "Where do ay begin," as Buckaroo chuckled, adding, "How about at the start when ya first came here ayn' almost blinded Poppy with y'all's camera"? As the Country trolls laughed and caught up with one another, Low-Note Jones joined up with Cooper and King Quincy, saying, "Man, you were groovy up on that stage." Cooper shouted, "We really funked things up, right dad," as King Quincy laughed, saying, "You said it, Cooper. Low-Note, I can tell by that proud smile that Trollstopia has been a fun experience for you"? Low-Note Jones tipped his glasses, saying, "You got that right, baby. Sending me here was a stroke of genius. I have so much to tell you about, especially stuff that will make the other trolls want to come here."
Meanwhile, McJagger was walking towards Prince D as he said, "Man, my best friend from the galaxy's end, you love hip-hop so much, you had to bring it here and rock it on stage with Aggs, didn't ya"? Prince D chuckled at McJagger's statement, saying, "Well, you know me. Got to feel the groove." He then noticed that Laguna was standing behind McJagger, feeling a little shy, as he asked,d "Yo man, is she the pretty girl you told me about"? Hearing Prince D say that made Laguna become a little flustered, a pink blush appearing on her cheeks, as McJagger swung a gentle arm around her, saying, "Yep. Prince D, meet Laguna Tidepool: Trollstopia's finest an"troll"pologist, and my girlfriend." Laguna gave a shy smile as she waved at Prince D, who waved back while saying, "It's cool to meet you finally. I'm Prince D. What's popping"? Laguna seemed a little confused as McJagger explained, "It's his way of saying, "What's up"? Laguna understood as she says, "Note: you both seem to bore similar physical features, yet have major differences in color and use of accessories." Prince D and McJagger had a good laugh as the prince of funk/hip-hop stated, "Wow, man. She really is just like you! Laguna, you are lucky to be dating this guy. We always seem to find his head stuck inside of a book, reading, or studying back home. My dad likes to joke that if he ain't careful, his neck will turn into an actual bookworm someday." Laguna couldn't help but find the joke hilarious, laughing pretty hard as McJagger retorted playfully, "The same way I tell you that if you keep riding that turntable hoverboard, you're gonna become a cyborg"? As both funk trolls ran around each other while laughing, Laguna felt happy that McJagger was reuniting with his friend, who was the prince of funk.
Suddenly, she saw Queen Essence walking in her direction while talking to her mom, Twilight telling her, "So, the next thing I know, I'm riding a ravenous rapid and taken downtown by sea monkeys, just because I picked up a red ruby! I mean, dinkum?! It wasn't even theirs,"! Queen Essence replied, "Sounds like you've been to some of the craziest places in the world." Twilight happily replied, "Yeah, but while traveling and going on adventures is awesome and all, I'm enjoying my time of retirement at the moment. It's allowed me to relearn about living in troll society again, and it's given me the chance to reconnect with my daughter." Twilight hen spotted her daughter, saying, "There she is. Kelpcake, come and meet Queen Essence, Prince D's mum." Laguna came over as Twilight introduced her, saying, "Queen Essence, meet my daughter, Laguna Tidepool." Queen Essence lowered her head to the Techno troll's level, saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you. Your mom has told me so much about you." Laguna bowed towards the funk queen, saying, "It's an honor to meet your, your majesty. Funkiness? Whichever title you approve you, ma'am." Queen Essence lifted Laguna's head, saying, "No need for formalities. And you can call me Essence if you want. Prince D has read all of McJagger's letters to me, and we've heard a lot about you. I understand that you've been having some personal battles with PTSD, am I right"? Laguna slowly nodded as Queen Essence laid a comforting hand on her shoulder, saying, "We understand. We know how hard it can be to cope with the past, but it's great to hear that you have loving and supportive friends and family that are here for you. You know, we have a special therapist back in Vibe City who specializes in trolls with severe mental afflictions such as PTSD." Twilight then continued with, "While Milton Moss has been a helpful source of comfort for you, I think maybe seeing this therapist could give you more of a push with dealing with this issue. You don't have to do it if you don't want to, but Essence recommended him because he's one of the best therapists around."
Laguna thought about it for a minute before saying, "What times are his hours because I think that seeing him would be a viable option for me." Twilight smiled as Essence said in her caring voice, "I will put a word in for him. And Laguna, just so you know, if you ever need anything or you want to come and talk to us, let McJagger or Low-Note Jones know so they can contact us. We can help you if you or your family feel like there's nowhere left to turn." Laguna nodded and said, "I will, promise." Essence then said, "And take great care of McJagger. He's a special troll with a kind heart and a brave spirit. He's lucky to be with someone just as kind and brave-spirited as you." Laguna smiled and said, "You can count on it, Essence." Twilight tipped her fedora, saying proudly, "That's my little whippersnapper," as she watched Laguna and Essence form a friendly connection. With Trollex, Aggie was running towards him as he allowed Aggie to leap into his arms, the two caught in a spinning embrace. After a couple of turns, they separated for a minute to try and stop becoming dizzy before hugging one another again, Trollex commenting, "You were terrific! See what happens when you be yourself and let it come naturally to you"? Aggie then smirked and said playfully, "Trollex? Shut up and kiss me," as the two shared another romantic kiss, not caring if anyone saw them or said anything because they both were enjoying this moment. Suddenly, a clock chimed midnight as holiday bells could be heard ringing in the distance. They stopped their kiss for a minute before Trollex asked, "Aggie, it's midnight. You know what that means"? Aggie nodded, saying in response, "It's Trollsmas Day, and I already had my wish come true tonight. Getting to spend it with you," as Trollex added, "And I got my Partyfest wish granted: to spend the holidays with my special Magical Musical Troll, Aggie." Suddenly, the couple was joined up by Branch and Poppy, who was beginning to feel better, as Branch asked, "So, Trollex, when are you and Aggie getting hitched"?
That question made them both blushed as Trollex retorted back playfully, "Well, when are you and Poppy having a baby"? Seeing both Pop trolls blush in embarrassment was enough of a victory for him and Aggie. Val, Barb, and Melody watched this from a distance as Melody commented, "Now this is the perfect way to enter Trollsmas Day: seeing two happy couples, one engaged, and one soon to be, talking to one another like a love drama." Val shrugged as she said, "A little sappy, if I'm being honest, but well-deserved nonetheless. They are basically matches made in heaven." Then, Barb joked, "Wow, Val Thundershock is interested in something sappy? You sure you're not going soft"? Val crossed her arms and huffed, "No, I'm not," as Barb playfully punched her, saying, "I'm just messing with ya, right Melody"? Melody nodded and silently snickered as Val rolled her eyes but could not help smiling anyway. Aggie then turned to face Poppy as she asked, "Poppy, are you feeling a little better"? She nodded as Branch said, "Her fever's going down, and she isn't as woozy anymore, but she still needs to rest up and stay warm." McJagger then came over to the four with Laguna by his side, saying, "Hey, we having a little couples group here"? Laguna added, "Note: This is the best Trollsmas Eve/ Early Trollsmas morning I have ever celebrated"! Suddenly, all three couples looked up and found a hilarious sight. They were under three pieces of mistletoe. Trollzart was hovering one over Poppy and Branch. Dante was hovering one over McJagger and Laguna, and standing on Val's shoulders, Melody was hovering one over Trollex and Aggie while saying, "A little love for Trollsmas, guys"! In perfect unison, "Broppy," "McJaguna," and "Aggex" all kissed under the mistletoe, with their friends and family watching them. This was, without a doubt, the best Trollsmas they ever celebrated!
