The people of this place seem to all hold respect for Him. He is the first, apparently, and the most accomplished. He claims that He is the one who has created them, but the girl alone remembers the bargain she had made and knows this to be a lie.
He is planning something. She is sure of it. She says nothing, but watches closely.
