Out in England Dudley had just returned home from spending the night at a friend's house. He was worried because he saw his dad's car in the driveway. He knew that his dad should have left for work by now seeing as it was a Monday. Passing it off as his dad might be sick or taking the day off, he just walked into the house. When he opens the door alarms in his head was ringing there was no sound. His mom always had either the television going or music playing when she was up. His dad always had the television on when he wasn't sleeping. He checked each room and found it completely empty. Not knowing what to do he ran back to his friend's house and told them the situation.

His friend's mom called the police and told them what was going on. She was asked if she could bring Dudley to the station as his parents were there right now. She had agreed and was on her way. Dudley couldn't think of anything his parents could have done to get the police attention. Yes, he was a little bit of a bully when he was younger but after the principle told him that the next incident would get him expelled, he stopped and changed his ways. Then again there had been rumors going around last year about another boy living with them when he was younger that just one day vanished after they went to a different country for a few months. He didn't remember another child and he never asked his parents. Could that have been what this was about.

Once they made it to the station the officer took Dudley into his office where there was a woman sitting there. The officer said, "Dudley, I am Officer William, and this is Ms. Myles. Ms. Myles works as a DCF Social Worker. She is also here as a helper for you as I have a few questions to ask you. Is that okay with you?"

Dudley replied, "I guess so. I just want to know where my parents are sir."

Officer Williams said, "Dudley, I know your scared for your parents it's understandable. I will tell you what is going on, but I want to ask these questions first, I need to know what you may or may not know."

Dudley nodded and said, "Okay."

Ms. Myles said, "Dudley just knows that I am here to help you and you don't have to answer the question if you don't feel like it. If you don't understand the question let us know and either Officer Williams or I will try to put it in simple terms for you okay."

Dudley nodded as he sat there.

Officer Williams sighed he hated integrating children at least this one was at the age of 12 so he knew how to put words together and hopefully he knew better than lie to authorities. Officer Williams asked, "Has your parents ever been abusive towards you in any way?"

Dudley looked shocked and said, "Never, my parents loved me."

Officer Williams asked, "What about your cousin?"

Dudley's was confused and replied, "What cousin? I have been an only child, there was never another child."

Officer Williams replied, "I'm sorry Dudley, but you may not remember back then, we have evidence from when you were younger your parents were responsible not just for you but also your younger cousin. He was only a few months younger than you. Apparently, he came into your parent's care when he was one years old and at the age of four, he vanished when your family was out of the country."

Dudley answered, "I never remembering having any other child around me when I was younger, but last year there was rumors going around the neighborhood about a boy that supposedly lived with us. I never took much in for it since my parents never said anything about it. It would explain the lock boot closet. My parents always kept it lock all through my childhood life they only took the lock off recently. They took it off last week saying that they needed to remove some old things that they forgot was in there. They never got around to it and I didn't look inside since my parents told me that it was just papers from their old school days. I had no reason not to believe them. I always thought that they had a lock on the door so I wouldn't get into any cleaning supplies or be able to hide from them."

Officer Williams noticed that Dudley wasn't lying he had no idea that he had a cousin that lived with him. He then asked, "Do, you know where you went when you were four years old?"

Dudley thought and said, "I believe my parents told me that we had gone to China. My dad's job had offered him the job it was only for six months my dad took it in a heartbeat. I remember starting Kindergarten in China because I had no idea what they were saying halfway we moved back to England and I finished my school year here. What is going on with my parents."

Officer Williams replied, "Your parents came in early this morning rambling on about a little boy that they were supposed to care for, and they dump him in the middle of nowhere in China. They looked completely out of it and they wouldn't stop. We have never had a case like this so when you called and got to talk to you, we don't know if we are looking for a teenager or a body of a little boy. The other possibility is that they are completely making this up and it's a figment of their imagination."

Dudley tried to think of anything that might help in the investigation, but nothing came to mind since he was young when all of this took place. Thinking about it he remembered his mom kept a detail diary in here room it was kept in the nightstand drawler. Dudley said, "Officer Williams, my mom kept a diary in her nightstand drawler if they did anything it would be in there. I don't know which one because she has a few of them but they should be dated."

Officer Williams smiled and said, "Thank you Dudley now does you know anyone that might be able to take you in?"

Dudley replied, "I have an Aunt her name is Marge on my dad's side but other than that I have no one. I really don't want to stay with her since she breeds pit bulls and I have a fear of dogs. I had a bad encounter with a dog when I was seven and I can't stand being near dogs."

Ms. Myles said, "I can find you a foster family to look after you until your parents are clear or if they are found guilty, we can keep you with that family or find you a different family."

Dudley nodded as he explains to his friends' mother what was going on and the mother told Ms. Myles that she could foster Dudley as she had a license to foster child and have done it for a few years that her son was a foster child that she could adopt.

Ms. Myles quickly agreed to let Dudley stay with his friend's family and told her that she would schedule an interview and see how Dudley was doing in a weeks' time.

When Officer Williams went back to the Dursley's house he was able to walk in and see the nightstand that Dudley had told him about he saw a few diaries in there. He decided to check the older looking ones first seeing as the writer wrote down the date, he went to the first and last page to get the year. He quickly read some passages from before the boys were born and found out that the Petunia had a grudge against her sister, but she didn't state why. Also, they didn't talk after her sister got married. That left Officer Williams with the question of why the boy went into their care if the sisters never talked to each other. He changed to the book that had the ninety eighty-one. There he found the answer it was dated November 1, 1981. It stated how the little boy was left on their doorstep in the night with just a letter. He was resting in a basket wrapped in a blue light blanket. The letter stated that his name was Harry Potter, and he was born July 31, 1980. Along with that his parents were murdered since they were his only living relatives, he had to stay with them.

Officer Williams now had more questions than answers now and no one was going to answer them. He kept skimming the diary only reading any passage about the boy Harry. He noticed that he was not like about the family. It also stated that they punished the boy for anything that occurred that they could not explain until it came to always the boy's fault. He couldn't believe the cruelty that these people were to this young boy. He noticed that Dudley did help with getting Harry in trouble, but you couldn't blame a four-year-old for that since it was only what he saw at home. He finally came to when they had moved to China and what he read made him hope that they young boy was still alive. As he noticed that the boy was intelligent beyond his years. He finally noticed that they day they arrived was also the day they got rid of him and thank the gods the woman had wrote where her husband had left the boy.

He got back to the office and told his Supervisor what he had found and that he wanted to go to China to find this boy. His supervisor nodded and called the local authorities and got the approval for Officer Williams and another Officer to come. Williams asked for Officer Victor since one he was a senior field agent and two, he knew Chinese. His supervisor nodded as they keyed in Officer Victor.

Shiryu went to go and find Mushu and Dohko and get some training in with them. He had calmed down his wife who had a few more chores to do. She was going to finish and then bring her boys lunch so they could have a picnic. When Shiryu got to the waterfall he noticed that his son's cosmos was too weak to make a proper Excalibur. He had noticed it for a while and was hoping that his son would pick up on it. Finally, he said, "Mushu, I thought that I taught you that to form any attack it needs a certain amount of cosmos. So, why are you using so little of your cosmos for an attack that a gold knight uses?"

Mushu stood there and thought about what his Papa had just told him and wanted to hit himself. He couldn't believe that he forgot that the stronger the attack more cosmos you need. I just came naturally that when you train and master the attack your body comes accustomed to the amount of cosmos that you don't even think about it anymore. When you're learning though you are trying at different levels of cosmos to get the desire effect. Standing in front of the rock again he raised up his cosmos and let it go which he was excited about since he was able to get it a little sharper but still nowhere near his dad's and Shura's. He was at least now making progress.

Dohko asked him how it went in Greece and England. Shiryu gave him a quick version keeping an eye on his son's cosmos level. He wasn't shocked when Dohko asked if it was wised to let Ikki have his way. Shiryu sighed he knew that his brother was all about revenge but this time he couldn't fault him since it was his nephew that was involved. If the cards were reversed, he would do the same. All these boys had was family and they weren't going to let anything, or anyone get in the way of that.

The next afternoon found Shiryu, Shunrei, and Mushu walking along the trail to get back home. Shunrei had gone into town to pick up some food that they needed while Shiryu and Mushu decided to go on a hike. They happen to stumble upon the returning Shunrei on their way home. As they got close to the top of the trail, they heard two men talking. Shunrei went behind her husband and son as Shiryu respond, "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
Officer Victor heard the Chinese words and looked over at the trail and got Officer Williams attention as they walked back to the path.

Officer Victor replied, "I am Officer Victor, and this is Officer Williams, we are Police for England. We are here to try and find a young boy that was dumped around here back in 1984 or 1985."

Shunrei looked at the officers and said, "I think we need to talk if you don't mind our house is just at the end of this trail and we can answer any of your questions if you follow us."

The two officers were shocked they had been searching the area for a few hours and haven't made any lead way not that they were expecting it. When they got to the end of the trail, they were surprise to see a house and a temple. Inside the temple they could see a man writing on a scroll and didn't even bother to look up to see who was there. Shunrei and Shiryu walked into the house while the young boy was walking toward the man in the temple. The two officers followed the couple into the house where Shunrei started to make tea.

Shiryu said, "I'm surprise you are now searching for the boy that went missing since my wife and I put in a report about finding a boy in the forest the day after I found him. We live five miles away from any big city and we knew all the villagers nearby. When there was not a report about a missing boy a year later, we were able to adopt him."

Officer Victor replied, "We had no indication about a missing boy until two days ago when this couple came in rambling on about a nephew that they left in China. Their son was the reason we knew where to look but we can't find a body."

Shunrei replied, "Because you won't find a body or bones. Didn't you listen to my husband we found the boy alive and adopted him. He didn't know his name, so he chose one himself and we have been taking care of him since. We love him and can't believe how vile those creatures were to get rid of him. Though you do have me confused you said that they had another boy in their care."

Officer Victor replied, "Yes, a boy name Dudley he was the one who told us about his mother's diaries that stated everything that they did from day to day."

Shunrei replied, "That just makes them even more horrible how could they love one boy but hate another."

Shiryu kept quiet on that he did know how someone could love one child and hate another his own father showed him that. He also knew that his father kept his distance to except that he would send his son's away and may never see them again. It was to keep the heart break and grief at a minimum.

Officer Williams asked, "If you know where the boy is now then can you please show us where he is?"

Officer Victor was about to translate when Shiryu replied, "You saw him the boy that was with us. His name is Mushu now. He named himself the day that we found him since he didn't know his own name. He told us that he thought that his name was freak, or boy and I had to tell him that I don't think that was his name. He just went to the temple to spend time with his grandfather. He was writing in the temple when we got here."

The officers went outside and talked to Mushu about what he remembered which to their dismay wasn't much since the boy was young and extremely bright, he had blocked all memory from his years before meeting Shunrei and Shiryu. The officers were dismay but hey they at least could get the Dursley's on child abandonment and child endangerment. That is if they could even be considered unfit to stand trial as they were completely out of it when they burst into the police station and started to tell them everything. It was like they were completely insane and now they knew that everything was true.

Mushu sighed as he sat with his parents wondering what that was all about. He knew that he was adopted and with what he had heard from the two teachers his parents were no longer around, so why were they looking for him was concerning. Shiryu sighed he knew it was going to come he just wished that Hogwarts teachers never came into their life. He was happy being isolated from the world and now that isolation could come to an end.

It was July 28 when Severus was handed the acceptance letter and supply list for Mushu. Minerva made sure that it was stated Mushu since she wanted to respect the boy and call him by his legal name something which the headmaster wasn't even trying to do. Severus just wondered why he had to do it. Then again, he promised them that he would come, and he never was one to back down on his promise. As he landed from the port key, he wasn't surprised to only see Shunrei. She looked like she was cooking something but couldn't be sure what it was. She looked up and said, "Hello Severus, I'm guessing that you are here to bring Mushu to get his school supplies."

Severus replied, "Yes, but may I ask what you are making?"
Shunrei smiled and replied, "Medicine, we tend to get sick around the beginning of fall and all throughout the winter, so I always start making medicine to keep around for when we do get sick as you have seen we live far from a doctors, so we tend to make our own supply of medicine. It's all herbal so it lasts a lot longer than store brought medicine."

Severus knew what she meant he made potions for the hospital and if no one got sick and took his potions they could last at least a year though that was only a theory as he had to restock the hospital wing after winter. He was always surprised; how many children get sick every year. Then again, the children are germ magnets and they really have a hard time staying away from others when they are sick to begin with.

Severus asked, "Is Mushu around so we can be on our way?"

Shunrei replied, "He is at the waterfall training with his father and grandfather. We can go up and get them, let me just get these medical bottles stored in the house first."

Severus nodded as he watched her put the medical bottles away. He looked at the front room and could tell that the family spent little to no time in the room. It was surprising that they had barely anything in the room. He saw a chair, couch, an area rug with a coffee table on it. On the far side he saw the dining room and kitchen. He wondered if they spent all day outside or if they just didn't have enough money to spend on anything.

Shunrei saw the way he looked at the inside of her home and didn't mind that it was barley anything inside. Mushu's room happen to become a library with how much he liked to read. He kept all his books in his room since he didn't want his Papa to accidently trip over them. It happened once when Mushu was seven he left a book on the floor because he had to use the bathroom and would be right back. Well, his Papa came in and trip over the book since books don't have a cosmos. Let's just say that Mushu never left his things unattended again. He had felt bad when he found out that his Papa got hurt because of him.

Shunrei grabbed a walking stick that Severus knew was used for someone that was blind. He asked, "Shunrei, why do you have a walking stick did something happen that made one of them go blind?"

Shunrei looked at him and said, "Severus, you didn't realize at your last visit that my husband is blind. He has been blind since he was fourteen. He doesn't use the cane when he is here since he knows his way around rather will. We swear he has a gps system in his mind. He just uses the cane when we are in the city or in a new setting and he doesn't know where things are."

Severus understood that well his friend was the same way. When they were in his house, he never used the cane, but when they went out the cane always came. He also knew that Shiryu must have sensed them last time from having years without his eyesight he either heard them or his sense of smell is amazing. As the two made it back to the training ground Shunrei was wondering if this school would be safe for her son. She knew that he could take care of himself, but she wouldn't be there to help him.

When they got to the waterfall Severus was surprise to see Shiryu in a fighting position in front of the waterfall. He saw Mushu sitting on a cliff with his grandpa. Right as Severus was going to ask Shunrei what was going on he felt the massive power coming from the man at the mouth of the waterfall. Suddenly he saw what look like maybe a hundred dragons floating to the skies. Shiryu just stood there with a smile on his face listening to his son telling him that he did it. Shiryu shook his head as he got out of the water and said, "We have guest."

Dohko was watching his ex-student he knew that Shiryu knew the attack and could use it, but it always drained him too much. To compensate Dohko would try to help him try to learn exactly how much cosmos he needed to power the attack. It wasn't easy since the power was different for every user. The reason for this was that every user has different cosmos levels the higher the cosmos level the more power it wants to use. The only way to overcome this is by trying out different power levels and still getting the desire affect. Shiryu was still working on that every time he lowered his cosmos even a fraction it wouldn't work like it was supposed to and when he used the amount that he currently did he was tired for most of the day. It was frustrating on both sides since Shiryu was able to do it when he was fifteen and still able to fight afterwards even if he was tried at the time and was in god armor at the time.

When he heard Shiryu say that they had guest he was even more agitated that once again their training was interrupted by the man that called himself Severus Snape. He sighed as he jumped off the cliff with his grandson who was simply happy to see his Papa showing him the attack. Normally they would train early morning and then train him when he got up and was ready. When he asked Shiryu just told him that the attack was unstable, and he didn't want him to be accidently hurt. Dohko knew how to protect himself from the attack where Mushu knew nothing of the attack.

Shiryu had waded out of the water and dried the exposed skin that had gotten drenched by using that attack. It was one thing he hated about learning the attacks was that he always got soaked. He said, "I hope we are not on a tight schedule since I really would like to be in dry clothes."

Severus nodded even though he wanted to be done with this. He really should have let Minerva deal with this since she had more patience than he did.

As they were ready to leave Severus brought out his portkey and told everyone to hang on no matter what. Shunrei made sure that Shiryu was holding on to the newspaper and her hand was on top of his as they all disappeared. When they reappeared, Severus was astonished by Shiryu and Dohko were booth standing like they never moved while Shunrei and Mushu had fallen on the ground. Shunrei groaned as she remembered why she hated portkeys she never could remain standing. Mushu had already gotten up and was rubbing the sting out of his bottom. Dohko was helping him get the dust off his clothes thankfully that the dirt was dry.

Severus quickly took them to the Leaky Cauldron and was happy for the way Mushu looked, for everyone in the pub had no idea that they had just met the famous Harry Potter and the five minutes of fame. As they walked to the back to get to Diagon Alley, Severus taped the bricks to get in. The three knights and one woman was in shock. Shunrei only because of the number of stores. The alley in China was small it was limited unless you went toward the capital of China. She also wondered if the people in England were trapped in the dark ages. In China, the witches and Wizards wore the same clothes as muggles did and they were more comfortable than the robes ever were. She only wore them once and that was just to see how they felt.

Shiryu was just shocked that he couldn't sense anything until the alley was reveal and that made him wonder how that was possible. He had just decided it had to be wards. He figured maybe that was what protect Sanctuary since even satellite can't get a glimpse of it. As he walked in, he used the cane to make sure that he didn't trip over anything or anyone.

Dohko and Mushu were just shocked about the amount of people that were in the alley. They lived in isolation and never really ventured out into the city. Normally it was only into a few villages and helping. Other than that, they stayed on their land and trained. Mushu was wondering if he was going to have trouble making friends since he had no idea what this country was like. He could speak in English, but he was used to speaking in Chinese since his whole family spoke it.

Severus led them to Gringotts. Once they got close to the bank the family bowed to the goblins watching the door. The goblins bowed their heads back at them in shock since it had been an awfully long time that any wizards had ever bowed to them. Once they got inside and to a teller again the family bowed while Severus kindly said, "That Mr. Potter would like to make a withdraw."

The goblin looked at the family and was shocked that they bowed to him as he heard a voice say that Mr. Potter would like to make a withdraw. He knew right away that he needed to get these people to see Mr. Potter's account manager and said, "Mr. Snape I was told that if Mr. Potter ever came into these doors then he needs to see his Account Manger immediately."

Severus sighed he knew that he shouldn't have come and said, "I will leave you four here as normally this may take all day. I'll send you a message tonight to let you know who will take you shopping tomorrow for your school supplies. When you get the letter just write back where you are staying."

Dohko replied, "We will Severus. Thank you for your help."
