Change of plans from what I said in chapter 7. I've just been feeling unsatisfied with my writing and story so I want people to decide what they would like more.
First option is that I just remaster what I already wrote out and continue as the story already is. That means following the RWBY story relatively closely with the main cast of characters. It will split off from where the main cast splits up in season 4 and the Xenoblade gang will go and do their own thing until they meet up again in Atlas in season 7. This would be pretty much the "what would happen if the Xenoblade characters were inserted" route that I'm currently going on right now.
The second is that I completely rewrite the story and do things completely differently from the main story. Same end goal of defeating Salem but the Xenoblade cast won't be part of Beacon and won't have much interaction with the actual main cast of RWBY. Brandon would be dropped into the RWBY universe during an earlier time frame, instead of 1 year before the first season, maybe like 5-10 years before. I could have him start anywhere else as well since he doesn't need to be found by Ozpin in Vale. This would be a completely original story that's not tethered to the RWBY storyline of the show, though the RWBY cast will show up eventually and some show events will still take place.
I'll probably end up doing both at some point but I would like to know what people want more so I can work on that first. If no one has an opinion, I'm going to end up putting this one on hiatus to work on the second option so I can come back into this one refreshed.
