I'm pregnant. The phrase kept echoing through Harry's head as he wandered the halls. He found himself outside Tom and B'Elanna's quarters.
"Harry? What's wrong?" Tom asked, as he opened the door. Harry went and sat on the couch.
"What's it like? Being a dad?" he asked, watching Tom join Miral on the floor to play with her.
"It's difficult, certainly, but the rewards are…" Tom said, smiling at Miral. "When she smiles at me, when she hugs me. It's the best feeling ever." He turned back to Harry. "Wait, is Patsy pregnant?" Harry nodded.
"I want this, the family, and I want it with her. So why am I so freaked out?"
"Trust me, I was so scared when we found out about Miral" Tom replied. "And B'Elanna and I had been together a lot longer."
"Not to mention, we were already married and had had that discussion" B'Elanna said from the door to her and Tom's bedroom. She came to join Harry on the couch. "You're going to be a great father, Starfleet. Now go speak to Patsy. You have a lot to discuss. And congratulations." B'Elanna gave him a hug.
"That we do. Thanks Maquis, Tom" Harry replied.
"We're here if you need us" Tom said. Thanking them, Harry left his friends quarters to go and speak to his girlfriend.

They were curled up together on Patsy's bed, talking about the future. Patsy had told Harry he didn't need to apologize for freaking out. She'd freaked out too, after all. Neither of them would resign their commissions; they would make it work. Patsy was slightly disappointed when she realized she would have to stop gymnastics. But it would be worth it. They would talk to the Captain tomorrow, informing him of their news, and asking permission to share quarters. The easiest thing, if Lexa agreed, would be for Harry to move into their shared quarters and for Lexa to move into the quarters Harry was currently in. They also discussed names. Patsy had always liked Phoebe, Victoria, or Samantha for a girl and Matthew or Christopher for a boy. Harry also liked Matthew for a boy, as well as Andrew and Luke, with his choice for a girl being Grace or Eleanor. They decided on Matthew Luke if it was a boy and Victoria Grace for a girl.

The couple told Lexa their news the next morning, Harry having stayed the night. She had been surprised, but thrilled for the couple all the same. When they had mentioned their idea regarding quarters, Lexa had agreed that it made sense.
"I'll come to the bridge later so we can talk to the Captain. I need to see how much I have to do in Engineering first" Patsy said before saying goodbye to Harry and Lexa at the TurboLift, telling Lexa to be nice to Harry.
"Hey, I am nice to him. I said I'd only hurt him if he hurt you" Lexa said as the TurboLift doors closed on her and Harry. Harry just caught Patsy rolling her eyes at her cousin.
