"You guys stay back. I'm gonna get your father." Race says as he runs off into a room and begins fighting drones.
"Hadji, Alexis we have to shut down the Q Sphere. Can you handle the crane Hadji?" Jonny asks as the group goes toward the crane.
"Yes I am quite good at lifting things. Ready when you are Jonny." Hadji says as he and Alexis go toward the control as Jonny gets into a harness.
"Ready. Ready as I'll ever be." Jonny says.
"Be careful Jonny." Alexis says.
"I will. You guys stand guard okay?" Jonny asks as he looks at Dulce, Tom, and Jerry before beginning to make his way to the Q Sphere.
"Looking good Jonny. You're almost there." Hadji says on the speaker as Bandit then barks into it.
"I can't watch." Alexis says nervously as she closes her eyes.
*Timeskip*
"Hadji." Jonny says nervously as a robot cat fires lasers at him.
"I am on it." Hadji says as he tries to keep Jonny away from the robot cat as Tom begins fighting with the other robots.
"You're going the wrong way." Alexis says as Tom flies past her and Hadji before the robot cats begin shooting at the crane where Alexis, Hadji, and Bandit are.
"Bandit, Alexis no!" Hadji shouts as he sees Alexis in wolf form growling with Bandit and he pulls them away from the glass.
"Look out Alexis, Hadji!" Jonny shouts as Alexis and Hadji are taking cover from the lasers.
"Jonny look out!" Hadji shouts as the crane falls.
"No!" Alexis shouts fearfully as she sees Jonny slipping down below before he falls as the glass then breaks.
"You take the kids... I get the dog." A robot cat says before Tom flies into them with Jonny and Jerry before Tom, Jerry, and Jonny fall next to Alexis, Dulce, Bandit, and Hadji.
"Well well. This little reunion will make it easier to take care of you all in one fell swoop. Cut them down to size boys." One of the robot cats says as they talk among themselves. Bandit then barks scaring Tom as he then gives the others a chance to get away.
"Come on Hadji, Alexis. Now is our chance." Jonny says as the group jumps to safety.
*Timeskip*
"Dad." Jonny says as the group follows tom to the room where Zin and Dr. Quest are.
"Dr. Quest." Hadji says as he, Alexis, and Jonny run over and hug Dr. Quest.
"Jonny, Alexis, Hadji." Dr. Quest says happily.
"Your magnificent cat may have won this battle but even without the sphere this island has enough energy to reach the coast and crash. Happy landing Dr. Quest." Zin says as he laughs and then leaves.
"Dad, Tom and Jerry know where the skimmer is. We can use that to escape." Jonny says as the island is descending faster.
"Good thinking. But we can't take a chance on this island hitting the capital." Dr. Quest says as he begins messing with his watch.
"What are you doing?" Hadji asks.
"I knew someday I might fall into enemy hands. So I created a fail-safe missile that homes in on my watch to prevent my work from being used for evil. It's activated. Let's get out of here." Dr. Quest says as he places his watch on the controls before the group begins running.
*Timeskip*
"We're cut off." Alexis says in alarm as the path gets blocked.
"Maybe there's a way we can go around." Race says as he looks at Dr. Quest.
"We don't have time." Dr. Quest says.
"I will levitate Jerry to the other side and he can bring the skimmer to us." Hadji says as he begins levitating Jerry before the group sees the giant crabs heading for them.
"I'm sorry kids. I'm afraid this is it." Dr. Quest says sadly as Jade appears in a hovercraft.
"Never send a mouse to do a man's job. Or a woman's." Jade says.
"Miss Jade." Jonny says in surprise.
"But how?" Alexis asks.
"I followed you. I had to protect my investment." Jade says while smiling.
"We even saved your little ball." The white dog says while holding the Q Sphere as everyone then gets into the hovercraft but Race.
"Jump Race!" Dr. Quest shouts as Race jumps before Jade catches his hand and pulls him up.
"Jezebel you're a sight for sore eyes." Race says as he smiles at Jade.
"Yes. Yes I am." Jade says happily.
"Can we go now?" Jonny asks.
"We'd better." Dr. Quest says as the group escapes from the island.
*Timeskip*
"And as we reconstruct the Washington Monument with the original stones we retrieved from the ocean we are proud to honor these brave and ingenious heroes with the Distinguished Medal for Bravery and Ingenuity." The president says as he awards medals to each of the group members.
"Cool. I mean thanks Mr. President." Jonny says happily.
"You know Jonny you remind me of myself at your age. Whoa. Easy boy. And we even had a special one made for you Mr. Mouse. Whoa." The president says as he awards medals to Dulce, Bandit, Tom, and Jerry before Tom and Jerry begin fighting and chasing each other.
*A Week Later Timeskip*
A week later as Alexis is playing outside Quest Labs with Dulce she soon sees Jonny walk over.
"Hey Jonny. I thought you were going with Race, your dad, and Hadji to town." Alexis says as Jonny gives a nervous look.
"Yeah but I wanted to stay behind. I had something I wanted to talk to you about." Jonny says as Alexis looks at him curiously.
"You wanted to talk to me about something?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Yeah just don't slap me if you don't like what I say though." Jonny says as Alexis looks at him.
"Jonny about the only time I ever smacked you over anything is when you have done either something incredibly stupid and or you accidentally insulted me in some way. But either way I'll not smack you. Besides my job is to protect you not hurt you." Alexis says.
"About that. I don't want you always protecting me and Hadji some much anymore. Mainly just me though." Jonny says as Alexis gives a shocked expression.
"What? Why? Have I done something wrong?" Alexis asks with hurt in her voice.
"No! No.. You could never do anything wrong. It's just... I feel bad about it. You save my life more than I do you." Jonny says as he rubs the back of his neck.
"Jonny I've told you this I don't know how many times. I care about you and I won't back down if you're in danger. That's not up for negotiation." Alexis says sternly.
"I'm not gonna get you to lay off a bit am I?" Jonny asks as he sighs.
"Nope.. but why would you want me to? Is the man is supposed to save the woman stereotype thing that is bothering you?" Alexis asks as she looks at Jonny curiously.
"No it's not that." Jonny says as he looks down before Alexis gently pulls him over to under a tree before sitting down with him in the shade.
"Then what is it? You don't usually say or ask something like that unless something is on your mind. Please Jonny I'm your friend. I hate seeing you upset." Alexis says concernedly as she places her hand on top of Jonny's
"Alright.. look I asked that of you because I don't wanna see you get hurt because of me. I hate that I put you in danger so often. I know you don't care about putting your life on the line like that but I do. I care because well.. I like you.. In fact I think I love you. I've honestly felt something for you ever since we first met. I just didn't notice it really until I kept seeing you fearlessly and so willingly putting your life on the line to protect me. I'm scared to lose you. I don't just love you like I love Hadji. With him he is my adopted brother. I love him like a brother.. but you I love.. I love you as more then well.. a friend. So I guess what I'm trying to say is would you be willing to be my girlfriend?" Jonny asks nervously as Alexis looks at him in surprise.
"Jonny are you serious?" Alexis asks in shock.
"More serious than I've ever been." Jonny says before Alexis then kisses him on the lips causing them both to blush.
"Yes. I'd love to. I feel the same. It's partially why I'm so protective of you. I'm just surprised you haven't noticed." Alexis says shyly as Jonny chuckles slightly.
"I really am oblivious. I wish I had or I would of said something sooner." Jonny says.
"Better late than never." Alexis says happily as Jonny smiles.
"You wanna go for a walk or something? You know just the two of us before everyone else gets back?" Jonny asks as he and Alexis stand up.
"I'd love that but I'm happy doing anything as long as it's with you." Alexis says happily as she holds hands with Jonny.
"Me too." Jonny says as he kisses Alexis on the lips.
