Elphaba wakes up earlier than Glinda and looks at the blonde who is still quietly snoring.
Despite the fact that Elphaba had again not slept well because of her back and a wierd dream, she was looking forward to the day.
She had been lying awake the night before, thinking about what had happened. She knew Glinda was doing the same across the room. Elphaba was pleased with her decision to speak to Dr. Dillamond. She was also very happy that she had forgiven Glinda and that Glinda seemed to understand her a little better.
Elphaba's heart skips. She didn't know what to think about, but it felt good to see Glinda. Elphaba had already had a lesson from Glinda about falling in love. The symptoms that Elphaba appears to have were suspiciously like falling in love. However, Elphaba couldn't believe she could fall for Glinda. Elphaba couldn't believe the feeling was mutual.
After taking a deep breath, she got out of bed and got ready for the day. She wrote a note for Glinda that she would go to Nessa to help her. Elphaba went to Nessa's room where she knocked softly on the door. Fortunately, Morrible was already on the lookout and opened the door. ''Good morning, Miss. Elphaba. I trust you will have great Wizardsdays.''
''But of course Madame Morrible. But of course I also make time to practice the spells that have given me.''
Morrible nodded approvingly. ''I have breakfast and then go to my office. If I can do anything for you, my door is always open.''
''That's very nice of you'' Elphie said politely.
''Good morning Nessa'' Elphaba said when she entered.
''Good morning Elphaba'' said Nessa grumpily. Elphaba knew that sometimes Nessa could be grumpy if she had a bad night's sleep.
''I hope Morrible and Boq helped you well last night.''
Nessa narrowed her eyes. ''Yes, thankfully. Although I think your help is much better.''
Elphaba smiled. ''That is what I like to hear. Thank you Nessa.''
Elphaba took the clothes out of the closet. She helped Nessa into the chair and drove her to the bathroom. Slowly Nessa's morning grumps disappeared.
''Are you gonna tell me why you weren't there yesterday?''
Elphaba bit her lip. ''What did Glinda tell you?''
''That you had a fight and it was dad`s and my fault that you ran away. Although I knew you couldn't be far and that she feels guilty for her behavior''
''Of course Nessa, I would never just leave you like that. Glinda was right, we had a fight. But now it has been kind of resolved.'' Elphaba began to comb Nessa's long brown hair.
Nessa thought about everything that had happened. What Glinda had said to her and what she had write in the note Fiyero yesterday give. Nessa thought about how she used to be had so much fun with Elphaba and hat Elphaba never just left before.
''I'm worried about you, Fabala.''
Elphaba winced when she heard her old nickname. ''Why?''
''Because you are much more absent than usual. At first I thought it was Glinda. But after talking with Glinda and Boq I noticed that Glinda made you happier.''
''You talk to Glinda and Boq about me?'' asked Elphaba with a raised eyebrow.
''Aren't you talking about me?'' Nessa asked know-it-all.
Elphaba shrugged. ''Sometimes, only positive things.''
Nessa nodded. ''But at least since Dad got here, you're completely different. I can't put my finger on it. But I don't like it.''
''Nessa you don't have to worry about me. You enjoy time with father. I have other things to do.''
''But what Glinda says makes me think. It's not fair that I get everything and you get nothing.''
Elphaba gave Nessa a little smile and looked at her sister through the mirror. ''Nessie, as long as you're happy, I'm happy. Don`t worried about me.''
Elphaba made a mental note to ask Glinda what she said to Nessa.
''No, that's not it. Elphaba, I went to look around the campus and everyone is learning to do things independently. I've started making friends and I notice that I'm ... I'm falling behind. Everyone is perfect except me.''
Elphaba turns Nessa and kneels in front of her sister.
''No, you will not do that. You are not behind. Nessa you are perfect for me. You are a beautiful girl who…''
''Uses her sister as a slave, '' adds Nessa.
Elphaba bit her lip. She couldn't lie to her sister. ''Nessa you don't do that consciously. That's how we were raised by father. And I'm glad I can help you so well.''
Nessa looked sad at her sister. She didn`t want to use Elphaba at a slave she want a sister.
''Yes, sometimes you treated me more like a slave, but you can change in the girl you where. The baby sister how loved to help me. The baby sister how helped everybody and wants to be a prinsses so she could helped. You talk a lot more to me than about me. Maybe you should talk to Boq about how you feel. Maybe he can help you because he is your boyfriend.
Nessa looked away and turned her chair. ''What if they leave me?''
''Nessa that does not happen. Show the Nessa I knew so long ago. The Nessa who made drawings when I was ill. Or the Nessa who helped me cook in the kitchen. Not like you were a good cook.
Nessa gave a soft giggle.
''What Glinda and everyone else have said to you may be harsh. But I know who you really are. That's why I stay with you in the hope that Nessa will come back. Which I know that's in here. I would never leave that girl''
Elphaba put her finger on Nessa's heart. Nessa started to cry. She cried out all her sorrow for her actions. Elphaba held her and comforted her sister as best she could.
After Nessa had calmed down a bit. Elphaba helped her into her new dress.
''I told Dad I gave you an evening off yesterday. He came by again to check with me. He asked where you were.''
Elphaba nodded. ''Thank you I appreciate that.''
''I'm gonna talk over dinner about how he treats you?''
Elphaba raised her eyebrow. ''What do you mean?''
''Well that he makes you work for me. I'm going to say I want someone else to give you a future.''
''Nessa please you don`t have to do that,'' said Elphaba quickly. She knew what the consequences would be for her if Nessa said that.
''Nessa promise me you won't say anything to father. According to father nothing has changed.'' Elphaba pleaded.
Nessa looked at Elphaba for a long time. ''Okay, I promise I won't say something to dad about it. But you must promise to make more time for me in the holidays. Fabala I miss you. I miss our time.''
Elphaba nodded. ''I miss you too Nessa. I will do my best.''
The two sisters hug each other. Nessa saw Elphaba's painful look when they could face each other again. But she said nothing.

Elphaba went back to her room to get her ready for the lunch with Glinda's parents after she stayed a little bit longer with Nessa. She was looking forward to the lunch.
Elphaba and Glinda were waiting for the right time and place.
Glinda waved enthusiastically when she saw her parents approaching. ''Hello, how nice to see you again,'' Leanne greeted the girls.
Shy Elphaba took her hand. ''It's mutual. Shall we go inside?''
Samual nodded. ''That's a good idea, I'm very hungry.''
Elphaba laughed. ''I now understand who gives you your appetite.''
Glinda playfully slapped Elphaba on the arm.
''You can order anything you want,'' said Samual after they got the menu. Elphaba nodded, but she looked at the cheapest things anyway.
Glinda looked disapprovingly at Elphaba as she placed her order but said nothing. Elphaba ignored Glinda and focused on Samual's story.
Elphaba had to admit that she had a good time with Glinda and her parents. Elphaba said she wanted to do something with science later. But that helping the wizard to help people also seemed fun. She shared how proud she was of Glinda.
Leanne and Samual noticed that the girls liked to talk about each other. This did Leanne a lot of good because it meant that the girls cared about each other a lot.
Since Glinda and her parents had already seen all the markets of Shiz, they decided to go to another city,
''Uhm may I suggest something?'' Elphaba asked shyly. It was a big step for Elphaba to open her mouth to people they didn't really know very well.
Leanne saw it as a great compliment that Elphaba was already feeling so well at ease.
''When we walk further into town there is a small market where they have a lot of stuff that is very cheap. I always buy my stuff there.'' Elphaba said looking at the ground.
Everyone thought it was interesting and followed Elphaba who showed the way.

''Ooh Elphie look what cute things are here.'' Glinda tugged on Elphie's arm.
Elphie tried to hide her sore face and was glad that Glinda was back to her old self. Elphie noticed that Glinda kept her distance.
Glinda enthusiastically pointed to a pair of earrings. ''Look they are so cute with the hearts. They would suit me so well with that pink dress.''
''First, all of your dresses are pink or have something pink. Second, how is it possible that you know your entire wardrobe by heart, but a three-sentence spell is too difficult for you and are you forcing me to help?''
Glinda smiled sheepishly. ''Well, first of all, there are different kinds of shades of pink. Second, that spell has nothing to do with fashion. As Dr. Dillamond always says. You will remember more if you are interested in it.'' Glinda tried to imitate Elphie and Dr. Dillamond. But failed when she laughed at her own joke.
''You're not funny,'' Elphie said dryly. But she also laughed when Glinda didn't stop laughing.
''What's so funny?'' Leanne asked as she arrived with a few clothes to herself. She was happy that Elphie and Glinda were having fun together again. She had also noticed that Glinda kept her distance but decided not to say anything.
''Glinda, thinks she can imitate people and say wise things.'' Elphie said, who was the first to be able to talk normally again.
''Come on it was kind of funny.'' Glinda slapped Elphie gently on the arm.
Elphie rolled her eyes but had to admit it was funny.
They walked on together but soon Glinda saw another necklace that she liked with Elphie this time. ''You gotta put these around your neck tonight. '' Glinda squeaked. ''It goes so well with your dress tonight. When I put your hair up, it comes out very nicely.''
Elphie looked blankly at Glinda. ''What are we doing tonight?''
''You promised we would go to the Ozdustballroom during the Wizardsdays. So I thought we could go tonight.''
''When did you discuss this with me?''
''I kind of forgot so I was hoping I would get you along without too much nagging.'' Glinda used her pout again and closed her eyes quickly a few times.
''Maybe you should use your puppy eyes too, which works better.'' Elphie was clearly unimpressed with Glinda and was already turning but Glinda stopped her.
''You mean these eyes?'' she asked sweetly. Glinda wasn't going to give up the fight so soon. She had everything ready for the party.
Elphie blushed. Her heart was pounding hard against her chest. ''Yes, those eyes.'' Elphie could finally say after finding her voice again.
''Are the eyes already working?'' Glinda kept using the same voice. She knew Elphie would already come with her.
Elphie nodded. She was completely drowned in the beautiful deep blue eyes. After all that Glinda had done for Elphie, she had to do sometimes things Glinda wanted.
''Are we going to the party tonight?''
Elphie sighed as she knew she had been defeated. "Yes, we're going to the party."
Glinda immediately started to bounce and kissed Elphie on the cheek. Elphie was so confused about the kiss that she didn't realize that Glinda had bought her the necklace. The whole time she stood dreamily staring ahead with her hand on the cheek where Glinda had kissed her.
Everyone bought what they could use. It was time to get some food.

''Okay, we will first return our purchases to our rooms and then we will eat at the cafe on campus. I'd like to know where Glindadoodles eat.''
''Daddy'' whined Glinda. ''Don`t embares me.''
But Elphaba laughed. ''I think it's a nice nickname. It's better than Glin.''
'"Don't even think about Elphie," Glinda said sternly.
But Elphaba only smirks at Glinda. She walked away. ''Hold on Elphaba Melena Thropp you're not going to call me that. Glin is fine.''
Leanne and Samual were left amazed, but soon she laughed. ''I really like Elphaba how she teases Glinda.'' Leanne nodded. ''Yes, I hope they stay together for a long time.''

Laughing, Elphaba runs into her room.
''Elphaba Melena Thropp if you call me Glindadoodles then I'll ooh help me Oz.''
But Elphaba gives Glinda a hug. Surprised, Glinda returned the hug. ''I was just teasing you. For me you will always be Glin.''
''Luckily,'' Glinda said, putting her head on Elphaba's shoulder.
They looked each other in the eye. ''I .. I still have to change,'' Glinda said softly.
''Yes you should. Then I'll just read.'' Elphaba said. But neither moved.
In the end, Glinda was the one to break free from Elphie's gaze. ''I really have to start or we'll be late.''
Elphaba nodded and picked up her book from her desk. She lay on her stomach and began to read.
Glinda closed the bathroom door and exhaled. Her heart was pounding hard in her chest.
Glinda came out of the bathroom after ten minutes. ''Okay Elphie it's your turn.''
Amazed, Elphie looked at Glinda. ''My turn for what?''
''To get ready, of course.''
''But I'm done.''
Glinda gave her a look. ''Elphie I like you very much. But you know when it comes to fashion, I'm the expert so go to the wardrobe and get another dress.''
With a sigh, Elphaba did as she was asked. She had enough experience with Glinda to know she was never going to win this fight.
Glinda approved the dress. After Elphie changed, Glinda reached for the brush. ''Sit down and I'll do your hair. ''
''Is that necessary?'' said Elphie a little scared.
''Yes you have to. We are going to a party tonight too. You have to look good. With your hair up, the necklace is more visible. Here you put this necklace around your neck and you can see the difference for yourself.'' Glinda handed Elphie the necklace
With a sigh, Elphaba sat down. She will never understand those girls stuff. But listened to Glinda anyway, because it had often helped her. Glinda slowly combed Elphie's hair. She loved going through the long black hair of Elphaba. They both felt at ease with an activity that had become so normal.
Glinda decided to make a little bun. She curled the hair gently so that it would feel on Elphie's back and not hang from the necklace. ''So you are beautiful as always.''
Elphaba slowly got used to calles beautiful, But she never believed Glin.
Glinda put on the bracelet she got from Elphie. They walked through the door together. Leanne and Samual were already waiting at the cafe. ''How beautiful you both look,'' Samual said while kissing Elphaba on the hand. Elphaba didn't know how to look. ''TTThank you.'' she stammered.
Glinda giggled. ''Thank you Popsical'' she said while her father gave her a kiss on the cheek. They all walked in.
Glinda immediately started talking about their evening plans.
They were having a nice dinner. Elphaba listened a lot to little Glinda stories. That evening, Leanne and Samual went to their hotel early while Elphaba and Glinda went to the Ozdustballroom.
''Come on Elphie you promised to come along. I know my parents changed our appointments and schedule but I promise you it will be fun,'' Glinda whined when she noticed that Elphaba slowed down.
Elphaba sighed. ''Why do I always let you talk me over? Why cann`t I just say no to you. ''
''Because you like me. And we have made a deal. Two days we do what you want and two days we do what I want. And last and not least. You can't say no to me.'' Glinda explained with a big smile.
Elphie laughed. ''Since when did you get so smart?''
''Since my roommate has been so nice to help me with homework.''
''Mmm that seems very sweet indeed. Maybe you should introduce me to her.''
Glinda stopped. ''Elphie were you kidding which isn't sarcastic?''
Elphaba rolled her eyes. ''Come along before it's too busy with people. We only stay for two hours but I don't want to be outside for two hours.''
Soon the girls were inside. Elphaba went to get drinks for Glinda and herself with the money she got from Glinda`s father. Elphaba had not accepted it at first, but Samual had insisted on it. As long as he was around Glinda, Glinda never had to pay anything, so neither did her friends. he had explained.
So in the end Elphaba took the money. When Elphaba walked back with the drinks, she couldn't find Glinda at first. But soon she saw Glinda talking to some of the students she recognized. Soon they were all talking to them. Elphaba had to say she was having a nice evening. For the first time, she felt normal.
Glinda and Elphaba had been at the party for a while. Modern music was played and the two sometimes went to dance and sometimes talk to people. Elphaba even talks to Pfannee and ShenShen. Although they still weren't friends, Pfannee and Shenshen were acting normally against Elphaba and because of the alcohol everyone drank, they were a little more friendly to each other than usual.
Elphaba also saw Boq at the party.
''Hey Boq how are you?'' Elphaba said cheerfully, because finally there was someone she could have a good conversation with.
''Oooh hhhello Elphhhaba. How nnnice to see you here.'' Stammers Boq. ''Unfortunately I have to leave again,'' he said quickly with a red head.
Amazed, Elphaba watched him go. She walked over to Glinda. ''Glin do you know what's going on with Boq?''
Glinda turned. She was already a little tipsy. ''No, I have no idea. You made it up to him, right?''
Elphaba nodded.
''Haven't you heard it yet?'' Shenshen asked drunk.
Elphaba and Glinda both looked amazed ''What must we have heard?'' They asked simultaneously.
''Well I heard it from Pfannee who heard it again from Fiyero who heard it again from Boq. So it must be true.''
Elphaba rolled her eyes. But she knew there was some truth in most rumors.
''Nessa and Boq had had a long talk. The little munchkin had finally gathered enough guts to resist the spoiled princess a bit. Oops," Shenshen giggled. "Don't say to Elphaba that I said that," Shenshen said, leaning against Glinda.
Elphaba had to hold back her anger. She wanted to know what was going on with her little sister. So she nodded to Glinda who looked at her questioningly.
''Of course not,'' Glinda said soothingly, ''tell me what you know.''
''Okay, Nessa wanted to talk to Boq. Of course he kept nagging about it. But he went anyway. Nessa wanted to know his thoughts on the relationship. He finally confessed that he only dated her to impress you.''
''What?'' said Glinda and Elphaba at the same time.
''But he has also said that Nessa can be nice. He needed time for himself. They're on a break or it's out. I don`t know. So your plan to get rid of Boq may have failed. Did you see thoses shoes?'', Shenshen continued as if she had never been interrupted.
Elphaba felt more angry. She had advised Nessa to talk to Boq. She knew something wasn't right between Boq and Nessa. She could never really have believed that Boq could forget Glinda so quickly.
She walked away angrily. Glinda swallowed hard. ''Shenshen good that you told us. We will not tell you further. Drink a glass of water,'' Glinda said quickly. After that, she quickly ran after Elphaba.
''Elphie wait, what are you going to do?'' She found Elphaba quickly because it was easy to find someone green. She pulled Elphie in a dark cornor so they have some prive.
''What am I going to do? I'm gonna turn that little Munchkin into a turtle and tell him the truth.'' Elphaba said loudly as she looked around.
''And you? Did you have fun treating Boq like that? Why didn't you say it before? Nessa really thought that Boq ...''
Her anger immediately disappeared when she looked at Glinda. who looked at her with tears in her eyes.
''I didn't want it. But that was still in my Galinda time. When I proudly did everything for popularity. When I still used my full name. I really wanted to go to the party with Fiyero. Boq kept chasing me. I saw Nessa in her chair so sad. I felt sorry for her because she's your sister. I thought I was doing her a favor and I wanted to get rid of Boq.'' Glinda said as she rubbed her arms.
''I'm sorry I didn't know what to do. When we went out for breakfast the Saturday we became friends, you said Nessa was so happy. I thought everything would be fine. But I noticed that Boq was very unhappy. He told me he didn't want anything with Nessa but didn't have the heart to break it up.''
''What?'' Elphaba asked incredibly. ''You knew he didn't want anything with Nessa and yet you didn't do anything?''
''I was afraid of losing our friendship Elphie. And I told Boq what you told me about Nessa. That she was slowly changing. That Boq should give her another chance.''
Elphaba sighed deeply. Glin I don't know. I have to go te Nessa.''
''Elphie you can't do anything now. Nessa is probably already asleep immediately ran away when he saw you. He thought you probably already knew.''
''You're right. I'm a bad sister I should have been with her.''
''No Elphie,'' said Glinda sternly. ''You are fantastic.''
They looked each other in the eye for a long time. Everyone suddenly seemed to disappear for Glinda and Elphaba. They were both drawn into each other's eyes. Elphie knew she cannot be long mad at Glinda. All what they felt was love.
''Elphie are you still mad at me?''
Elphaba shook her head. ''It happened a long time ago. If Boq and Nessa really want to go for each other, it will be fine.''
They slowly began to dance together again. They did the same dance that they did when they became friends. They looked each other in the eye.
''Glin you must know that I would never leave you, that you can tell me anything.'' Elphaba said softly
Suddenly there was quiet music.
''You are so beautiful,'' Glinda whispered as she put a strand of hair behind Elphaba's ear.
Maybe it was the music and the alcohol that made her so drawn to each other, but she leaned closer and closer. Nobody seemed to notice that Glinda and Elphaba looked at each other like that.
Slowly Elphaba pressed her lips gentle against Glinda's lips.
As soon as it happened, so quickly Elphaba withdrew. Afraid to see rejection and horror in Glinda's eyes. But she saw the same sparkle she saw when they first danced together. A shy smile appeared on Elphaba's mouth. That was all Glinda needed to get confirmation from Elphaba that she had felt the same as Glinda. That indescribable and wonderful feeling.
They looked around but no one had noticed their lips had touched just a little. They both smiled shyly at each other. Glinda took Elphaba's hand and pulled her out of the room. When they were outside in a deserted alley, she kissed again. They immediately kissed each other with self-confidence. Elphies hand went to Glinda`s hips while Glinda`s hands make al little mess in Elphies hair. ''Ooh Elphie you don't know how long I've been waiting for this,'' Glinda said when they gave each other some air.
Elphaba blushed. ''I have no idea but I like it'' she said softly. They kissed again. She heard people walk out of the building. Glinda dragged Elphaba to their room. It wasn't until they were safe behind their doors that they started kissing again.
''Mmm I certainly like this.''
Glinda giggled happily. Glinda's hands went through Elphaba's hair, and Elphaba's hands went to Glinda's hips.
Glinda kicked off her shoes. ''Ooh Elphie I can go on all night like this,'' Glinda said as she kissed Elphaba again.
''I think that would be great, but we need to talk about this,'' Elphie is a little afraid of Glinda's reaction.
''You are right but Elphaba I am so glad that you feel the same.'' She kissed Elphaba's neck.
Elphaba took a deep breath as Glinda kissed her in just the right place. ''You don't want to know how much I want you,'' Elphie whispered as she did exactly the same to Glinda. Glinda pulled Elphaba to her bed and sat on it.
She rubbed Elphaba on her cheek. ''You are so beautiful.''
Elphaba smiled shyly. ''You are much more beautiful. But I'm not ready yet,'' she whispered while she looked at the floor.
''Ooh Elphie. That's okay at all," Glinda gently forcing Elphaba to look at her. ''I'm also not ready yet. I want to take every step with you. We walk the path together and we talk about things.''
Elphaba gave Glinda a big smile. ''I don't deserve you.'' She said while kissing Glinda.
''You deserve more than you think.''
Elphaba and Glinda both found themselves getting more tired after such a long day. Slowly she got ready for bed.
When they were both done, Glinda stood uncertainly in the middle of the room. Elphaba saw it and put her arms around Glinda. She gave Glinda a soft kiss. ''Sleep tight. We will continue tomorrow.''
Glinda nodded.
Glinda wanted Elphaba to lie in bed with her but knew it was too early. She knew that Elphaba still had to process everything. Glinda also had to give her feelings a place. Glinda was secretly worried that she was kissing from the alcohol and that Elphaba would deny everything the next day.
But now at that point, everything was prefect for Glinda.
Despite being very tired, they were still awake for a long time thinking about what the next day had to offer.

Unfortunately, I will post less often because the holiday is over. I now have to do homework instead of writing my story. I hope I can now add one or two chapters per week. Thank you for reading the story and thanks for the reviews it really makes my day better.
