Chapter 19

Rin looked to the odd smile on the woman and could not shrug off the eerie feeling.

When Momo was left with Rin, Renji and Uryu as the parents and grandparents of the child spoke to the authorities as to what took place. Rin decided to ask Momo what was going on.

Momo told her whole story in a very Momo way. It made no sense whatsoever unless you spoke her language.

Rin looked back at the woman who clung to Sesshomarus arm.

None of this makes any sense? If they went through all this trouble to kidnap and hold her for ransom why would it be so easy for her to escape?

Rin was brought out of thought by Sesshomaru who walked up to lift up his niece she sighed in relief not seeing Sara and decided to ask him a question. "Hey? You ok? What's up with that weird woman?" Rin smiled at Sesshomaru having not noticed how close Sara was behind him.

"What weird woman?" Sara asked coming from behind his tall figure.

"Ugh...the woman who? ugh brought us here..?" Rin said embarrassingly.

"My mother?" Sesshomaru questioned Rin.

"Ugh never mind! You ok? How's your leg?" Rin asked genuinely concerned. Sesshomaru shrugged off Rins weirdness and looked to Sara who pulled his arm worriedly.

"Your leg? Why what's happened to your leg? Did you get hurt?!" Sara began to worry.

"No I'm fine don't worry about it. You no longer need to ask if it's fine and I can explain things later." Sesshomaru answered Sara and Rin.

"Uncle sushi's demon self healed his leg when we was somehow warped to that other world. He doesn't want to tell anyone though cause he thinks he's nuts or somethin?" Renji said with his hands resting behind his head similar to how his father does.

Sesshomaru squinted an annoyed anger at his nephew and than relaxed his features. "What wild imaginations these kids have right? We should start getting the kids ready to leave it's very late." Sesshomaru said nudging them all forward.

What's happening? Renji didn't say that as a joke? He never speaks to his uncle like that? And Sesshomaru wouldn't have given him that look if what he said was just a wild imaginative story?

Rin remained confused but mostly uncomfortable. She looked to the side where Sara was following and recalled what Momo had said.

If this whole thing was just to get Sesshomaru to marry her than it has to be her!

Rin looked up at her angrily. She than put herself in front of Sara blocking her path. They stood alone in the back while everyone else was getting into the car.

"I know the truth! And I am going to prove it! And trust me when I say! You are gonna pay for what you did to this family and especially for hurting such a sweet girl like Momo!" Rin had anger in her eyes as she spoke.

"I have absolutely no idea as to what your speaking of? However I'd watch myself if I were you. The help can always be replaced sweetie." Sara was walking pass her when she turned her head just enough to whisper to Rin. "I told you to leave my husband alone. And now I'll make you regret having ever answered that phone." Sara walked away.

Rin gasped in shock. She just admitted everything with that tiny threat. Yet with no proof it'd be impossible to prove. Rin decided she'd be ready next time. If provoking her was this easy she can get the truth out of her and have her arrested to pay for what she did.

"Hey Rin! Come on." Sesshomaru called. Once everyone was outside it stood that only two people would have to ride back on the snowmobile. Sesshomaru immediately volunteered to drive the snowmobile with Rin while everyone took the car home.

However Sara protested. Asking if she and Sesshomaru can ride together and perhaps talk somewhere more private before heading back that night. And that Rin being the kids nanny should remain with them.

Rin hesitantly agreed and got into the packed minivan. While she watched Sara and Sesshomaru ride off.

"Well this is the wear house I was able to track them to? If all our sources info is correct than this would be where they are or by the looks of it were holding that kid." Koga said looking around with only a flashlight.

"Koga look here! Blood. There's a tooth here as well. To large to belong to a kid." Ayame rolled a q-tip in the blood and dropped it into a tube. She than stood looking around.

"Yo baby doll. Mini chair and puddle of urine. I guarantee if we test it it'll be hers." Koga looked to Ayame who cringed in anger a little.

"I'll kill them Koga! I want to rip them apart!" Ayame shouted with anger and determination.

"I promise you I'll let you skin them alive to your hearts content babe. I know this is hard on you." Koga held her shoulders trying to comfort her. Suddenly they both heard someone coming in. So they hid and killed their flashlights.

"Man that was the dumbest kid in history! Sis shoulda jus let us whack the brat!" Suikotsu said as he lit a new cigarette.

"Let's just hurry and get our stuff. Sis will be angry if we leave anything behind." Kyokotsu said walking in.

He flipped the lights on and noticed a shadow being cast behind some stack of empty crates. He immediately pulled out his hand gun jesting with his face for his brother to look that way.

Suikotsu grinned maliciously and pulled his gun out as well, loving the fact that he finally got to kill something.

They immediately began open fire, emptying the clips in the direction of the two shadows that resembled bodies.

"Ha Ha! That'll show anyone dumb enough to think they can sneak up on us! Ha ha!" Suikotsu smiled happily.

"Punks need to work on your aim!." Koga said from behind Kyokotsu. He tazed him knocking him out and collapsing to the floor.

Ayame than grabbed the gun that Suikotsu ignorantly pointed at her beloved Koga.

She twisted his wrist breaking it and his shoulder when she flipped behind him. She than hit him so hard in the neck he passed out.

"That'll teach you to ever point a gun at my Koga ever again!!" She yelled angrily making a pouty lip.

Koga smiled at his wife's cute stance and pouty full lips. He shocked his passed out victim one more time just for good measure being that he was such a large foe. He walked over the passed out body of Suikotsu kicking him in the head to make sure he'd stay knocked out as well.

He than stood in front of Ayame with a wicked and seductive smile making Ayame blush. "Your lookin kinda sexy right now baby girl." Koga placed his hands on her hips and rubbed them gently while looking into her eyes.

Ayame blushed a brighter red. She took a step closer to her lover and whispered his name. At that moment Koga claimed her lips with passion.

Everyone with the exclusions of Sara and Sesshomaru were home. Inuyasha and Kagome cleaned and dressed their three children for bed. Jaken tended to her wounds once again making the swelling go down a great deal.

The family of five all slept in one bed that night. Still not feeling safe not knowing who the people that kidnapped their precious girl was.

Rin sat up downstairs waiting for the return of Sesshomaru. Worried that they had been gone for at least an hour now.

Kanna and Jaken also awaited as they were worried of the succubus know as Sara coming back into Sesshomarus life.

Rin noticing their discomfort decided to ask on the matter.

"Why do you guys dislike her? Has she tried to hurt him in the past?" Rin asked worriedly.

"Hurt master Sesshomaru?! Ha! That woman would rather die. She practically had a heart attack when he broke his hand." Jaken huffed.

"She's just a royal pain in the ass. She bosses us around like we're her slaves or something. And she always demands to be treated like a god damn queen. Just because we work for Mr.Taisho does not mean we work for that stupid bitch!!" Kanna shouted angrily.

"Ugh? Please try and keep it down? The kids are sleeping and Everyone had a very difficult two days.?" Rin asked Kanna as kindly as she could.

"Yeah ok...sorry I just hate that stupid bitch.." Kanna shrugged into the couch angrily.

"I get it.. Hey umm so do you two think she might be...? Well has she ever seemed evil or psycho to you guys at all?" Rin asked nervously not wanting to seem crazy.

"Ms. Osano is the most cruel and annoying of the long list of my masters bedmates. She however has never been evil to master Sesshomaru. Psycho is very obvious. She stalks the hell outta him whenever he was busy and she can not stand to be apart from him for seconds. She has no respect for my masters personal space." Jaken said patiently awaiting Sesshomaru to return.

The long conversation of Jakens and Kannas grievances with Sesshomarus most recent ex was definitely an ear full to the young and worried Rin.

Sesshomaru had stopped to a pizza place that was open 24/7 as it is so often used by the residents of the ski resort. He and Sara sat ate and spoke on a few things he had been avoiding for quite some time.

"It's not the city but it's still a decent slice wouldn't you agree?" Sesshomaru said after swallowing and wiping his mouth finishing his late night meal.

"It's alright. A little greasy for my taste, you however are obsessed with that pizzeria in the corner that over floods their slices with grease." Sara lightly giggled and smiled.

"It's what makes a good pizza." Sesshomaru smiled back at her.

"This is nice. Similar to our second date. I believe it was this late at night as well." Sara looked up to the sky as if she was speaking to an angel.

"Yeah I remember. You was so determined to go out after I became busy with those two smaller companies. I canceled our plans like three times before you waited outside in the cold for me to get out. And we just walked and happened upon that place." Sesshomaru tapped his finger against the table as he recalled the memory. He let out a sigh of regret as he readied himself to speak.

"I understand that you probably still won't be ready for a relationship again. I however can not stop loving you. I will not push for anything. And I'd still like to leave first thing in the morning. I can't be around you and not love you Sesshomaru." Sara said reaching for his hand.

"Sara, we aren't good for eachother. I do care about you I honestly do. But I can't hurt you again. There's something about you that brings out the worse in me. I'm sorry.." Sesshomaru said pulling back his hand.

"You truly don't believe that you were just under the stress of the investigation against your company? Why not give yourself the chance to be with me without stress and worry? If you still feel like I am the cause of all your aggression than I will leave. I however know that is not you. You are not that man, and was only pushed into a corner. You thought you were losing everything you had been working so hard for, however again. You know yourself better than I could ever hope to. I simply would love to know you in a time of your life where you are not so consumed with work." Sara rested her hands in her lap. She wore a look of broken sadness.

Sesshomaru hesitated for a moment. His thoughts uneven.

His final breaking point with Sara was with what she had said about his niece. That she hadn't deserved to live beyond the point of her burn and she should be put down like a dog. Sesshomaru practically killed her that night. He had beat her to the point of unconsciousness. From that moment on he had never seen Sara again. Speaking to her once over the phone and keeping himself far from her.

"We should get back now. It's getting late. And I know my nephews and niece will be up looking for me." Sesshomaru lifted his hand signaling the man behind the counter to ready a large cheese pizza and a large pepperoni pizza with a large cookie pizza and large brownie pizza for to go.

"I don't believe all that food is necessary. It's just a waste of money." Sara said with a hint of irritation.

"When will I ever need to worry about wasting money. If they sleep through the night which I doubt. Than someone will eat it in the morning. Either way it doesn't go to waste." Sesshomaru said leaving 200 on the table.

"Sesshomaru there is no way possible that this cost you that much?" Sara said slightly alarmed.

"No, no where near. All of this came up to about 80 bucks why?" Sesshomaru asked as the man thanked him for the tip and followed him outside with his food.

"So why did you spend so much?" Sara asked aggressively.

"Because he is following us home to deliver it. I can't exactly steer and hold those giant boxes on a snowmobile?" Sesshomaru chuckled and looked at Sara and smiled.

Sara faked her understanding and smiled back. Acting like it wasn't the fact he had just spent so much on his family that upset her.

They both got onto the snowmobile and left for home.

Rin looked behind her on the couch as she heard Kagome, Inuyasha and their three kids heading down with Momo crying.

"Hey Rin? Has Sesshomaru come back yet? Momo won't stay asleep without him." Kagome said yawning.

"He wasn't in his room? Yo Jaken? You know where my brother is?" Inuyasha asked holding Uryu on his hip.

Momo continued to sob and cry for her uncle in her mother's arms. Renji tried to console her but she would not stop until she seen her uncle.

"No, he hasn't come home yet.." Rin said hurt and scared. "Do you wanna come to me Momo?" Rin asked holding her hands out to Kagome and rubbing Momos back gently.

"NO! I want my uncle sushi!!!" Momo screamed and cried louder waking her grandparents who ran downstairs.

Izayoi wearing a long sleeve classic cotton nightgown. And Inukimi in a long satin thin strapped gown with the matching robe draped over her shoulders. Toga in a silly pair of flannel pajamas with a giant reindeer face that opened up that his grandkids had purchased him.

"You know you guys have some pretty weird sleeping gear?" Inuyasha eyed his family annoyed.

"Inuyasha? Is everything ok?" Miroku came down holding Rinrin rubbing his eyes.

"We heard Momo! Is she alright!" Sango practically ran downstairs with Yachiru and her boys.

"Everything is fine. Momo just woke up scared and wanted Sesshomaru." Kagome had said to everyone asking.

The whole house was obviously on high alert and still worried. They all even spoke about just returning home even though Christmas was a few days away. The fun and joy had been stripped away and they couldn't seem to get back.

Finally everyone turned their heads to the door that suddenly opened. Sesshomaru walked in carrying four large boxes with him.

"I thought you guys would all be sleeping? Something happen I should know about?" Sesshomaru asked with his charming smile.

"Uncle sushi! I was so scared!" Momo screamed and ran up to him. "What's all this?" Momo asked seeing how her uncle could not lift her up due to the boxes he held.

"What's this? Why this is everything for our pizza party tonight!" Sesshomaru said with excitement.

"Pizza party!!" Momo said excitedly.

"Is it not a little late for children to be eating?" Sara asked as she peaked through the door removing her coat.

"I think we can make an exception for a pizza party what do you think Inuyasha?" Kagome smiled largely.

"Yeah I think so." Inuyasha gave his brother a smile that thanked him in every way possible.

"I also got a giant cookie and brownie to so we are obviously going to need ice cream and sprinkles and chocolate syrup and caramel sauce!" Sesshomaru said excitedly.

"Yeah! Yummy! Can we please have some yummies!" The kids asked and jumped.

"Uncle sushi! You make the hot chocolate it's gonna be a long night." Momo said happily with her childish attitude making everyone laugh.

"Come on let's dig in!" Sesshomaru said setting everything down.

"Shouldn't we sit to a table and use dishes?" Sara asked nervously looking at everyone sitting on the floor around the pizza.

"Nope! This is the best way to enjoy family night." Rin said with a soft smile to Sesshomaru.

"You are not family? Nor are they." Sara said confusedly.

"Honestly darling if your only going to complain you are welcome to head off to bed. I'm sure your very exhausted from your very long day." Inukimi said with her uncaring attitude.

"Oh no! I'm just saying for the kids I mean..Not to get confused.." Sara said with an embarrassed grin.

"Uncle sushi what else!" Momo looked to him with a mouthful of pizza.

Sesshomaru was caught off guard and silent for a moment. "What else? Ughhhh? Well let's see?" Sesshomaru was spoken over by Rin.

"We'll make s'mores in the living room as well! We can make s'mores and rice crispy treats in different colors. And tell scary ghost stories. OoOoOO!" Rin played with the kids as she spoke.

All the kids cheered and loved the idea. They all than looked to Sesshomaru for his confirmation on all the fun activities.

Sesshomaru smiled brightly and agreed. "Yep! Exactly what I was gonna say! I don't know how safe it is to be building a fire indoors but there is always a first for everything." Sesshomaru smiled and laughed with his family.

Everyone decided to make jokes and play with the kids and indulge in the insanely large amounts of sugar. Even though it was almost 4am they didn't care. They laughed and played until the sun rose and the kids fell asleep because they simply could not go any longer.

"Thank you Sesshomaru. For everything." Inuyasha said to his brother yawning.

Sesshomaru stretched out and rubbed his eyes. "Don't mention it. So how does this work now? Like are they gonna stay asleep for a little while? Or are we gonna see them come back with vengeance?" Sesshomaru joked.

Kagome giggled and kissed her brother in law on the cheek. "You can get some rest. The kids won't be up until at least 1. Thanks for everything Sesshomaru. I'm glad your leg healed up so fast." Kagome squeezed his hand with love and went upstairs with her husband and kids. She carried Momo while Inuyasha carried the boys.

"Night. Or mornin?" Inuyasha joked as he went up.

"You did such an absolutely wonderful thing my love. This evening was precisely what this family needed. Go get some rest love. Goodnight my sweet boy." Inukimi kissed Sesshomaru on his cheek.

"We are so extremely proud of you Sesshomaru." Izayoi kissed his forehead and hugged him whispering her good nights into his ear.

She and Inukimi went up to bed leaving Toga downstairs since he was not yet ready.

Miroku had taken his family up with Inuyasha and Kagome. Kohaku awaited his future fiancé. And Kanna and Jaken awaited to make sure their boss was securely in bed before heading to sleep themselves.

All that remained downstairs and still awake was Toga, Sesshomaru, Sara, Jaken and Kanna.

As Kanna and Jaken finished up cleaning Sesshomaru handed his father a bottled water. He took one out for himself as well. They both leaned against the wall watching as Sara ordered Jaken and Kanna around.

"So. Sara Osano. You ok?" Toga didn't look to his son when he spoke.

"I don't know." Sesshomaru didn't look to his father when he answered.

"Perhaps she has changed. Everyone deserves a second chance Sesshomaru. You'll learn that applies to more than just relationships. Goodnight. I'm very pleased with what you did for your brothers family. They really needed this. Always look after Inuyasha and his kids Sesshomaru. They'll be the closest thing you ever have to a family of your own." Toga went up to sleep with his two beautiful brides.

Sesshomaru shook his head disappointed and hurt. As if it was really necessary to add that. As if he really didn't know.

Sesshomaru stared at his half empty water bottle and lost himself in thought.

Is that really all I'm good for? Taking care of Inuyasha? Do I only exist to further his place in the world? How? Why am I even thinking like this...

Sesshomaru was brought outta thought with a gentle touch on his hands. "Come. Let's go to bed ourselves." Sara cupped his cheek seeing his sadness.

Sesshomaru leaned into her touch. His long lashes gently kissed his cheek. Once his stunning golden eyes opened again. He grabbed her hand lovingly within his own. He dropped his water bottle to the floor and cupped her face within his hands.

His hands were so soft, and filled with such purpose that Sara's knees gave in just slightly pushing forward into his strong muscular chest. Sesshomaru captured her lips with a kiss filled with lust and passion.

Sara gasped at the feel. She shook for a moment before collapsing completely into his embrace. Her heart beat sped up as she kissed him back. Her breath became sharp and quick with every slide of his tongue across her own. She allowed him to taste her again. All of her.

She hated breaking away for even a moment when she pulled away. She held onto his hand tightly. "We should go to the room." Sara said pulling him up the stairs.

Sesshomaru felt nothing. He knew he wouldn't. He just had to confirm it.

She's not the one. She'll never be the one.. So why am I forcing her to be? Why can't I just leave her?

Sesshomaru thought as he watched her undress him. She requested as usual he look away while she perform such a degrading act for a lady.

Sesshomaru complied and looked to the ceiling of his room. He thought of swimsuit models or runway models. He tried to recall the last time he watched porn or seen anything pornagraphic to arouse himself since her shy movements did nothing for the soft member between his legs.. His mind was a blank. He than thought of the one thing he knew would make him rock hard. The one image that brought his jumbled mind peace.

Rin.

"Well? I don't think they are ever gonna tell us anymore baby doll?" Koga said sitting on top of an empty crate.

Ayame punched the larger Kyokotsu once more in his already bloodied and broken face. "You think they are telling the truth than?" Ayame asked before she hit the smaller Suikotsu again.

Koga looked over the two men that struggled for air. He than angrily walked over to Kyokotsu and put a knife to Suikotsus neck. "I guess not. Kill this one first." Koga pressed the dagger to Suikotsus neck drawing blood. He would have gone deeper taking his life had Kyokotsu not begged for him to stop.

"Alright! I'll tell you where the girl is! ILL TELL YOU!" Kyokotsu yelled loudly at the prospect of losing his younger dim brother.

Suikotsu could no longer speak. Barely in any right state of mind he looked up to make an attempt at hearing what his brother said to the two random people that came attacking.

"Our brother had us give her back. We swear! It's the truth she's home with her family right now. He got spooked and decided to back out of the plan feeling that to much heat was on this case and after Suikotsu hurt the kid he was afraid we'd get gunned down for sure." Kyokotsu said with some truth to his words. Hoping it'd be enough to convince the two heartless assailants to stop their hours of torture against them.

Koga backed away and smiled. "You must really take me for a fool? That kinda hurts my feelings. See me and my woman heard you say "Sis" earlier. So with that said I know it's a woman who set this all up and I want her name. If I don't get it than. Well I guess yous know what'll happen." Koga said with a sinister smile.

Kyokotsu gulped and tried to shake loose from the restraints screaming in anger and fear.

Koga turned his head to Ayame who was monitoring a mini laptop looking thing that had just beeped. "Looks like we don't gotta waste our time with these two idiots anymore honey." Ayame said typing quickly on the miniature keyboard. "With the blood samples I picked up I can see their whole family tree. And you'll never guess who their "Sis" is." Ayame said turning the small computer around to Koga.

"Good job baby girl. Let's get outta here." Koga said walking up to Ayame snaking one arm around her waist pulling her in closely for a deep passion filled kiss.

He than lifted his arm without looking and shot both brothers point blank in the head. Ayame giggled and wrapped her arms around Kogas neck.

"Your stubble is tickling me babe. You gotta shave when we get back." Ayame said skipping out happily.

"Yeah? Maybe I'll keep it for a little while. See if it tickles you elsewhere." Koga said giving a hard smack to Ayames ass.

Ayame eeped in joy and turned her head over her shoulder seductively. "I think that'd be good fun. Lets go and tell Mr.Taisho everything so we can get back to enjoying our sexcation." Ayame kissed her rugged husband and wrapped her arms around his body as he drove off.

Once Sesshomaru was certain Sara was sleeping he quietly got out of the bed. He took his laptop downstairs popped a few of his energy pills and headed over to the sofa to get some work done. He was surprised with who he saw sitting there. Assuming they had been waiting for him.

"Hey? Everything ok? Why aren't you asleep?" Sesshomaru asked to his young nephew Renji.

"I don't know. Still feels kinda weird I guess? Yesterday was definitely a demon sake kinda day." Renji said jokingly to his uncle.

Sesshomaru smiled and walked over handing his nephew the rest of his water. "Well I don't think you'll be having anymore demon sake ever. And let's keep it between us what happen. Don't need your dad freaking out that he wasn't around for your first experience with alcohol." Sesshomaru said with a smile.

"Isn't it weird for you to just go back? We was gone for two years! How do you just remember what to act like again? How do you remember what was happening in this time? I really wanted the demon you to be here the other day. I hated you for no reason at all...But this you. This uncle I think saved Momo better than the demon uncle could have..I'm sorry.." Renji said looking down disappointed in himself.

Sesshomaru pulled his nephew closer to him. "It's ok. I know that I'm probably not as cool as a demon lord bu-" Sesshomaru was cut off by Renji.

"No your way cooler. You sent that Koga guy to kill the guys who took Momo. You stood here and helped us. I don't know how uncle sushi.. but you just fixed everything?" Renji looked up to his uncle filled with admiration again. "How does your brain just work? Don't you get scared and worried?" Renji asked holding onto his uncle.

Sesshomaru let out a loud Ha. He than quietly chuckled and looked at Renji. "Your uncles brain doesn't always work that well. And it's hard. Don't think I didn't want to charge out of here and don't think I was calm and in a right state of mind ever today. It just takes time. One day you'll learn how to properly take charge since your the older brother. It's just what we do." Sesshomaru squeezed his nephews shoulder lovingly. "Now stop over thinking. Your 4 and back home. Go to bed with your mom and dad cause if they wake up without you there they'll have heart attacks." Sesshomaru shoved Renji playfully.

"Yeah ok..I kinda miss toad Jaken and my dad was so much cooler as a half demon!" Renji looked back.

"Yeah well I for one can do without the stone cold killer doppelgänger. And that toad Jaken was worse than this Jaken?" Sesshomaru chuckled out. "Go to sleep now!" Sesshomaru threw a throw pillow at his nephew.

Renji caught the pillow and threw it back. "Alright. Goodnight!" Renji waved off.

Sesshomaru smiled and only lifted his hand to say goodbye and began working.

Speaking of Koga? I need to remember to have Kanna call him and let him know we have Momo back already. I can't get anything done without my phones.

Sesshomaru thought to himself as he opened an email from his fathers old partner Naraku.

It was a boneheaded threat against Sesshomaru that he'd make sure he lost everything if Sesshomaru helped the investigation against him anymore.

Sesshomaru didn't bother to read the rest and simply deleted it. He than went about opening and replying to all emails he had missed the past few days.

Why..why her? Why did it have to be her? Why can't I stop thinking about her? I have to get it together.

Sesshomaru sighed to himself as his memories played out the delicious sight and sounds that came from the woman that's been on his mind.

Rin what have you done to me.
