Chapter 10 A Volcano Replica Supercomputer in Sicily

A.N. – Final volcano replica supercomputer and last supercomputer chapter. This chapter will involve the return of an enemy as well as some other things. Part of this idea is mine and the other idea was submitted by James Marshall. I will mention which one at the end. Also, I will try to put these out at least once a day if possible because I have a limited time to get these out before school begins for me and I want this story to be done before then. Let's begin!

Short Summary – The Sicilian Mafia take the Lyoko Warriors to the volcano that Jeremy informed them about, but Jeremy also announces his arrival to Sicily. But before the warriors can do anything to the supercomputer, they must deal with the Kolossus. But Jeremy suggests a way to attack on equal terms.

The Mafia was now in debt to the warriors. Even though their leader did not survive, the warriors were able to let them see him one last time and have him hand over the position to the one who was acting in leader during his absence. Aelita told them to get them to the volcano that was in Sicily. Jeremy also announced he was coming to Sicily as well.

Coast of Sicily

Just East of the volcano was where Jeremy was planning to land. The warriors and the Mafia were all waiting for his arrival. What they didn't know was that the water was soon about to become the spawn location of a terror.

"Anyone else get that feeling that something is wrong with his situation?" Ulrich said.

"What's wrong with this?" Yumi asked.

"Like he is planning something. Something big."

"Hopefully Jeremy makes it here before he launches his plan" Aelita says.

Suddenly the ferry that Jeremy was aboard came into view.

"There's Einstein" Odd said.

The ferry opened up and Jeremy stepped off.

"Hey guys. Who are these guys?" Jeremy asked.

"Sicilian Mafia. Don't worry, they hate the security just as much and they promised to help us" Aelita explained.

"Aelita, you'll be in debt to them."

"Actually, they are in debt to us. We helped them rescue their leader from Palermo and in return we had them take us to the volcano and get us our way out to cross the Mediterranean."

"If you say so. Anyway, the reason I came here is that I can't determine if there is a supercomputer here or not. My scanner didn't have an accurate signal. So, we are going to get closer and then we'll see if the security program has any interest with this volcano."

The Mafia and the warriors moved towards the volcano and William saw them from the peak.

"Time to put a stop to this" William said.

Near the Base of the Volcano

As the warriors approached the volcano, Jeremy activated his scanning program.

"Oh yeah. There is one here" Jeremy said.

"How do you plan to enter?" the new don said.

"Through the top and through the molten lava" Aelita responded. Their eyes lit up like 'That is a dumb idea.' "It sounds strange, but I have means to travel through the lava."

"Wait, something is weird is going on?" Jeremy said.

"What's happening?" Yumi said.

"I don't know but it seems like the security program is draining energy from the supercomputer."

"Think he is trying to strengthen himself?" Ulrich asked.

"No, his power is directly related to the supercomputers being active. Draining them of energy would do nothing. He is planning something else."

Suddenly the ground shook violently like an earthquake.

"The volcano is erupting" the new don said.

"No, this is something much worse" Odd said knowing what exactly was happening.

Top of the Volcano

The Lyoko Warriors and Mafia used a tourist path to reach the top of the volcano. From there they saw the water bubbling.

"Why is the water boiling?" the new don said.

"I think we know why" Ulrich said.

Suddenly the ground shook once more, and something started to rise from the water. First tentacles rose up, and then a plain white face, before the rest being molten rock and lava.

"What the fuck is that!?" the new don said.

"The Kolossus" Aelita responded.

The Kolossus rose slowly and moved slowly towards them.

"It's coming towards the volcano!" Yumi said.

"If it's destroyed, so will most of Sicily along with part of Italy" Ulrich said.

"Not to mention us along with it" Aelita added.

"How do you kill this thing?" the new don asked.

"The Kolossus is one of the tougher monsters to take down. It has two targets that need to be hit within a few seconds of each other in order to disable it or it will just recover from it."

The resistance saw the shadow of the Kolossus from where they were stationed.

"Think you can keep it busy?" Ulrich asked the Mafia.

"Why?" the new don said.

"So, we can disable the supercomputer powering this thing" Aelita said.

"Take me down to the supercomputer room. I have an idea to even the odds" Jeremy said.

Aelita created her protective energy field and all of them descended to base of the volcano.

Base of the Volcano

The entrance to the supercomputer room was obvious and all the warriors ran through as the Kolossus continued to advance. They entered the room to find both the security program and William waiting for them.

"I'm surprised you went for us and not the Kolossus. Causing quite a rampage out there" William said.

"The supercomputer destruction will bring it down" Ulrich said.

"And that's what wea re here to stop."

"I need to connect to the supercomputer. I need those two cleared" Jeremy said.

"I'll take William. You three take care of the security program" Ulrich said.

"Are you sure?" Yumi asked.

"I haven't conquered my fear yet. You three can hurt him. I can't and if I try to touch him, I'm sure I'll end with much worse then a concussion this time."

"Okay, good luck" Aelita said.

The four attacked. Ulrich rushed William who summoned his sword and locked it up with Ulrich. Odd and Yumi fought the security program while Aelita guided Jeremy to the connection port on the supercomputer.

"Okay, time to get to work" Jeremy said.

William and Ulrich waged a long duel with William throwing strikes and Ulrich dodging. The security program could not make any advance on Odd or Yumi. Both had conquered their fear and could withstand and hurt the security program. Him and Odd looked each other in the eye.

"I still see fear in your eye" the security program said.

"Only this time, you can't hurt me. Laser arrow!" Odd said and shot the security program in the stomach and he let go and groaned.

"You surprise me."

Jeremy was able to establish a secure connection.

"Okay, now I should be able to launch the program" Jeremy said.

"What program?" Aelita asked.

"A program to bring a good version of Xana and William into our universe."

"Are you serious?"

"The security program did it, so I don't see why I can't."

"This is dangerous Jeremy."

"But this is the only way to even the odds with the security program. Get ready, I'm launching the program. But first I have to find the time where Xana had max power and William."

The program launched and found them. Jeremy pressed enter and summoned them to their universe through a portal just like the security program used.

"Where are we?" the good William said.

"I do not know" the good Xana responded.

"Okay before you freak out, we are the good version of the Lyoko Warriors, so we are fighting for the same thing. You been transported to our universe and we need your help. Your enemy is the security program and William" Jeremy explained.

They looked and saw them.

"What are our jobs?" the good William asked.

"To fight them but first, you need to call up on the Kolossus."

"The what?" the good Xana said.

"Oh, I forgot. You haven't made the Kolossus yet. Can you look through walls?"

"Yes."

"Look through that wall right there."

The good Xana did and saw the Kolossus. "I see it."

"Absorb the energy of the supercomputer to create one and have it fight the one out there."

The good Xana attracted the energy from the supercomputer and was able to transport it to the outside and suddenly another Kolossus rose from the ground.

"One was bad enough. Now there is two of them!" the new don said.

"We need to head out and help the Mafia take down the right Kolossus" Aelita said.

"Right do your job" Jeremy said.

The good William took over from Ulrich and knocked the other William down.

"Go, I got this" the good William said.

"A good William. Unbelievable" William said.

"And what kind of cheap knock-off are you?"

Xana took over from Odd and Yumi who were battling the security program.

"Surprise" the good Xana said uppercutting the security program. "I think you have something to attend too on the outside."

All the Lyoko Warriors were in position to be lifted up.

"One more thing. Wait for our return" Jeremy said.

They ascended out of the volcano and saw the two Kolossus wrestling in the water that separated Sicily and Italy.

"Now that is something that I didn't expect" Ulrich said.

Even the Mafia was confused on what was happening.

"Uh don, do we shoot or grab some popcorn and watch?" a Mafia member asked.

"I do not know" the new don said.

"We need to get rid of the original Kolossus" Aelita said as the Lyoko Warriors returned.

"What the hell is going on?"

"You wouldn't believe us if we told you."

"Okay, how do we kill the original?"

"Ulrich will take the top and I will fly you to the sword. Ulrich will strike and you take aim and shoot the big target in the middle."

The new don loaded a bullet in his rifle and was ready. Ulrich got on his Overbike and flew to the top of the Kolossus's head. Aelita activated her wings and grabbed the don and flew over to the Kolossus.

Inside the Supercomputer Room

William was suffering blows from the good William and could not stand and make a move. William was outmatched in every way. The security program however was able to land a few strikes on the good Xana.

"You should have not come" the security program said throwing a punch knocking him down.

"We were forced here" Xana said throwing a counterpunch taking down the security program. "We don't plan to stay."

William was continuing to be knocked down.

"Like I said. A cheap knock off" the good William said.

Outside the Volcano

Ulrich landed on the Kolossus's head and jumped down and stabbed the head and the Kolossus was stunned. The don took aim on the target on the Kolossus's sword and fired and with that the Kolossus fell inches from the volcanoes base. The other Kolossus stood there waiting for orders.

"We got to move" Aelita said.

Inside the Supercomputer Room

The security program and William were now worn down.

"I think this is a battle we cannot win" William said.

"I think so. I got a plan B to deal with the warriors. Let's go" the security program said as he and William disappeared, and the warriors reappeared.

"We miss the action?" Aelita ask.

"Mostly" the good William responded.

"Can we go?" the good Xana asked.

"Yes" Jeremy said and reopened the portal. They steeped through and the Lyoko Warriors destroyed this supercomputer left the volcano. The other Kolossus disappeared and the Mafia was waiting for them.

"We have the transport you need" the new don said.

Jeremy returned to Italy as the Lyoko Warriors traveled back to wine country. Once there the Mafia showed them the transport.

"It's a small ship, but enough to reach Spain" the new don said.

The Lyoko Warriors boarded and set off, but the security program wasn't done with them yet. Before they were far enough from the coast lasers hot the hull of the ship damaging it.

"What was that?" Ulrich said.

"Some kind of lasers hit the hull" the captain said.

They looked through the bottom and saw kongers and sharks on the bottom.

"Security program sent digital sea monsters to the real world."

Sharks on the bottom finished the job of blowing holes in the hull and the ship started to sink.

"We are getting off of here! Let's go!" the captain said as they all ran for lifeboats.

They all safely escaped before the ship sank.

"Now what?" Ulrich asked Aelita.

"We need the skid" Aelita responded.

"You think Einstein can do that?" Odd asked.

"I hope so. There is no other way to reach Spain. The Mediterranean is now infested with the monsters."

"Let's contact Jeremy then" Yumi said.

"Aelita, what's up?" Jeremy said.

"Jeremy, is there a chance you could bring the skid into the real world?" Aelita asked.

"Maybe. Why?"

"The security program has the sea covered with monster from the network. We can't cross."

"He's trying to delay, but I don't know what for. Give me a few days to see if I can get a program to work and I'll head out to wine country to meet you guys."

"Okay. See you soon."

"Jeremy's gonna see if he can."

"I hope he can, or we can't continue our way to take back the world" Ulrich said.

A.N. – The digital sea fights return but in the real world in the Mediterranean Sea. The idea of the Kolossus was mine from the beginning. The idea of the good Xana, good William, and the second Kolossus was James Marshall. Anyway, next time we will see the return of the skid! PM me with story ideas if you have any!
