Unfortunately, no one has shown interest in helping with this story… Sigh…like in real life.
So, sorry to those that were waiting to see more of this. As I stated before – I only had the rough plan of this and could only write up until USJ on my own. I just fell in love with this idea and don't want it to be boring re-telling of cannon with a few tweaks to fit Tenori in. With lessons and how much work is coming my way…I have close to no time to write, plus my drive for this story melted by the sheer lack of interest, not even suggestions…
As I hate when I don't know how a story ends, here's what my plan was:
Izuku at some point realizes Shigaraki is his world's version of Tenori and is a bit shaken to learn what his best friend could have become.
I have no Idea what happened until the training camp but Tenori was NOT there during the Stain attack (it is important time for growth for Izuku and Tenori would baby him too much)! He goes to therapy/counseling or something.
During the training camp is when class 1-A and 1-B see Shigaraki's face for the first time and after the abduction want answers why Tenori looks so much like a villain.
In the Chisaki ark the two (Chisaki and Tenori) clash with their Quirks being so similar but Tenori struggles a bit with the difference in scale between himself and Chisaki, but he is more versatile- needing only slight touch with 3 fingers to use his Quirk, even brushing on a surface counts! Eri is saved, Nighteye doesn't die but since Tenori is not confident enough to try and fix his nervous system, Nighteye can't walk anymore.
At some point, near the end of Tenori's 3rd year, it is revealed Tenori is from a mirror world of their own as another person slips into their world in hopes of escaping the brewing chaos and No Bright's attempts to expand his empire overseas.
The ending is when Tenori is a hero and decides to go back to his world and goes back to set things right and bring peace!
If anybody wants to try and continue this- you are free to do so!
===Concepts===
Tenori Shimara, an ex-member of a crime syndicate (forced because of grandmother's heritage) is now chased by the very same group because he decided to quit. In an attempt to catch Tenori, they decide to use Kamakiri – she has a quirk that makes portals, some stuff happen and the hangar they were fighting in exploded. Tenori is gone and thought to have escaped due to lack of remains, in a fit of fury, No Bright – the leader of the syndicate kills Kamakiri, unknowingly destroying their chance to get to Tenori. He on the other hand is dropped at a parallel universe where almost everything is different. There is no No Bright, Ultam syndicate and the age of chaos never occurred. Now, meeting 12-year-old Izuku leads Tenori on a new journey towards his long-forgotten dream of being a hero, just like All Bright. But would his quirk 'Recomposition' and this universe's version of Tenori make this impossible?
No Bright – a tall and slim man with blonde hair and has a goatee, has the power to drain energy, stockpile it and use it, he can also channel it through other people; weakened due to fight with Bright; Quirk - Drainage
All Bright – previously buff and tall man with square chin, now weakened and needs mask to breathe; power is to be able to accept quirks of others that had willingly given him their DNA; Quirk – Acquisition
Mana Shimara – Tenori's grandma, dead, one of the scariest mafia bosses in her time; disowned her son after he opted to become a policeman, takes Tenori with her to the mafia world after his father dies; Quirk –Atlas body (body enhancement)
Tenori – is enthusiastic, a bit brash and blunt but it's mainly because of his upbringing, on the inside he's kind and a bit shy, always aims to do what's right; looks like a younger Shigaraki but without scars or dry skin and lips, has a scar on left shoulder and is obsessed with keychains, collecting any he likes; Quirk- Recomposition (any item touched by 3 or more fingers can be broken down to atoms and can be recomposed as an entirely different object, still can't make a burger out of rock; kinda like Chisaki's quirk); favorite food is seafood but hates fish that have a lot of bones, likes it when it's been completely de-boned. His limit is 4 tons.
In the AU almost everything will be reversed! Quirks also have a different origin and some things like drugs and maybe erasure? Doesn't work. In CW they can't even be detected by machines because they are not genetic in a sense? There are 2 categories of quirks – in and out manifesting. It's something related to an energy anomaly in the electromagnetic? Field. In manif ones are like mutant (constant anomaly) and transformation (temporary), out manif are like emitter but are separated in visible (ice, fire, smoke, etc.) and invisible (magnetism, psychokinesis, talking to animals…)
Tenori being nervous and the constant "What if there's a version of me here? And what would happen if I meet it?". Tenori is also very nervous around All Might but when he realizes he's not No Bright and is nice, Tenori relaxes. Only Inko and Izuku currently know Tenori's secret and have told no one, because probably no one will believe it.
Matsu – Endebor's son aka Natsuo. Half-boar, ice quirk.
Fang Ruk – Fat Gum but evil and sarcastic.
Dreary – an OC with a Quirk that can forcibly take the will of living things, even their will to live, time limit after exposure is 48 hours at most.
Doc – evil version of Recovery girl aka badass granny.
Doubler – good, hero version of Twice.
Eraserhead is a vigilante in MW.
