Chapter 9: Remembrance of a Promsie

Touma: 8

Othinus: ??

"Touma," Othinus mumbled in her sleep. She waa currently on top of Touma's head like usual when she slept. Touma started to wake up as he felt her nuzzling the top of his head.

As he sat up. he yawned loudly while stretching. Then he rubbed his eyes before he said, "Wake up Othinus," as he nudged the chibi god awake.

"Don't wanna," Othinus pouted as she grabbed onto his hair. Touma sighed as he got out of bed. After he finished getting ready for the day, Touma went outside to water the garden.

Water pail in hand, Touma headed towards the garden behind his house.

"Oooh Touma, there's where we first met," Othinus exclaimed happily as she got off Touma and walked towards a special specific flower, "it was right here when you found me!"

Flashback

"Such misfortune," Touma yelled in pain as he took out the needles of a weed that became lodged into his hand. As he sighed once the last needle was removed, something caught his eye. "What's that," he said aa he moved towards something.

He poked at what looked like to be a small doll. Touma yelped when he saw the doll start to move and rubbed its' eyes. It stood up and looked right at Touma. "What are you," Touma asked, shocked at what he saw.

"I'm the Othinus the God of magic," it exclaimed as she placed her hands on her sides and puffed out her chest in pride. Touma decided to pick her up to look at her better. "What are you doing," she asled him as he lifted her up.

"Why are you in my garden," he asked her.

"I've been watching you from above and realized that you needed a friend," she answered.

Touma's face fell and asked, "So you've been in my garden waiting for me to see you?"

"That's the jist," Othinus replied, "now place me on your head," she demanded. Touma sighed as he did what she told him to do. "Comfy," she said as he nuzzled his head.

He started to walk back inside as he decided garden work can wait a little bit. As he sat down, Touma asked her, "Why were you in my garden again?"

"Because you're so lonely and I decided to come down to be your friend," she answered back.

Touma's face deadpanned. When he saw her give him puppy eyes, he told her, "Fine you can stay."

"Yay," Othinus exclaimed happily as she nuzzled his cheek.

End Flashback

"I'm glad you came to me," Touma said as he smiled at her.

"You're welcome," Othinus said as she pecked his cheek.

"O-Othinus," Touma stuttered out as his cheeks flaired up. Othinus giggled at his reaction with a blush of her own!

God soooo sorry this chapter took so long to get out. Its my senior year of high school and with school/looking at colleges Its been time consuming. Next chapter will be Frenda
