Since I wrote a separate Christmas one-shot(which happened about 9 months after the last chapter), this chapter is taking place after that one, so I'll be mentioning things that happened in between. There are lots of things in the comics that didn't really get explained, so I'm trying to explain them all now. The things that don't get explained here will probably get explained in other stories.

Will Vandom was stressed; sure, they didn't have any enemies to fight(yet), but they had another type of magic to keep a secret from the world, not to mention their magic school and their personal lives. There was also the fact that since Taranee and Martin became a couple a few months ago, they made the decision to tell Martin, Wesley, and Peter about their magic. Thankfully, the boys took it pretty well, but it got a little awkward sometimes when they wanted to help and the girls refused. There was still a lot to figure out and they didn't the boys messing anything up. They were also working on finding the magical people all around the world as well as helping MAGIC deal with the agents and wizards. At least the Christmas party was a hit, but now it was time to get back to work.

She was with the others, Nashter, Phobos, Elyon, and MAGIC in the Oracle's private room, as Yan Lin had arranged another meeting.

"Welcome," Yan Lin said. "I'm sure I'll still have some more meetings to arrange, but I hope they won't be so necessary soon. Right now I need both sets of Guardians and Phobos to come with me, and the rest of you will wait here. It shouldn't take long." The king and the ten girls followed her as she went into a room where all the rulers of the worlds were sitting. "Greetings," Yan Lin said. "Today I'm introducing you to the Guardians of Earth. While they protect Earth, they are willing to help other worlds who need it."

The girls waved as everyone clapped.

"We also have another ruler to introduce. I'm pleased to introduce you to King Phobos of Fenris," she continued. Phobos waved as everyone clapped. Yan Lin then continued,"I also want to talk a bit about Earth, as I intend to have Earth representatives join Kandrakar soon and share ideas that can benefit all of your worlds. There have been cases of people and creatures from other worlds going to Earth and living there, usually to escape suffering from their home planet, but that must stop, as Earth in general is ignorant about magic, not to mention that going there or to another planet without notifying the authorities is just plain rude. So please tell your subjects that going to other worlds, especially Earth, without notifying the authorities is forbidden, and I will make sure that no one can go to other planets whenever they want. I am, however, working on making it easier to contact Kandrakar should you need a portal or anything else. Now, I want to talk a little about the Guardians of Kandrakar. While all generations have done a great service, it's a bit much to expect only five women to defend all the worlds, and that's why I'm proposing that all you rulers assemble your own Guardian teams. This can easily be done since all worlds besides Kandrakar have a Heart, though they are sometimes called something else. These Guardians will protect their home worlds and will work under the Guardians of Kandrakar and will help them if needed. That's all for now, though I will call you again to follow up."

The rulers left, and Yan Lin took the Guardians and Phobos back to the private room.

"What I want to talk about today is alternate universes. Look at this, which is our Earth," Yan Lin said as she conjured up a picture of Earth. "These are alternate universe Earths," she said as two other Earths appeared. "These are like Earth, but with some differences. The differences could be minor or major. The reason I'm telling you this is because of how alternate universes are made. Remember the Astral Drops?"

The girls of W.I.T.C.H. nodded and winced.

"Anyway, Astral Drops and alternate universes are made using possibilities. For example, you each have your own hobbies. In an alternate universe, you each could have different hobbies. The thing is, alternate universes don't just happen. Remember the Runics? I believe their bosses or the dark side of the elements are responsible."

"What do you mean by the dark side of the elements?" Taranee asked.

"Remember Ludmoore and that he tried to control the elements?" Yan Lin asked. "Well, everything, including the elements and Kandrakar, have dark counterparts. I'm afraid that these alternate universes were deliberately created to create some kind of chaos. I think that we're heading towards a war."

"We can't let that happen!" Will declared.

"We can't," Yan Lin agreed, "though I'm not sure how to proceed. While you should be able to handle the Runics, they have their bosses, who probably have a sinister plan. That's why I asked both King Phobos and Queen Elyon here, so in case this does turn into a war, we will have allies. Though, that reminds me, I want to introduce you to some people." She gestured, and two portals appeared.

Out of one came seven unfamiliar teens in spandex suits and an alternate version of each of them, and out of the other came another version of each of them, and an alternate version of Phobos, Cedric, Elyon, and a strange girl.

"Welcome everyone," Yan Lin announced. After introductions were made, she said, "you all have been told of alternate universes, and how we may need you to help us. I asked you all here so we can discuss a plan of action."

"Can't we just fight these Runics?" Marinette, also known as Ladybug, asked.

"I'd rather not do any fighting if we don't have to," Yan Lin replied. "There's also the small problem of not knowing where they are."

"Won't the Runics get allies from the alternate universes?" Taranee asked.

"Possibly, which is why need to work fast," the Oracle replied.

"Nashter is on our side, though, and aren't the others helpless without him?" Will asked.

"To an extent, but you shouldn't underestimate them or their bosses," Yan Lin warned. "They also do have their allies, just like we do. I am hoping we can do this diplomatically, but if we can't, we will have to fight."

"But if we can get the rest of the Runics on our side, that will help, right?" Will asked.

"Yes," Yan Lin replied, "but we shouldn't depend on it. Anyway, I will now use my power combined with the alternate Oracles to contact the Runics and try to reason with them, while you will be here as backup." She then gestured, and a screen appeared, showing the faces of Darmon, Shalin, Cromo, and Ran-rah, the four other Runics.

"Greetings!" Yan Lin said, causing them to jump. Before they could say anything, she continued, "I know we're enemies, but I was hoping we could come to an arrangement. It seems that your bosses are trying to take over Kandrakar again and I can't have that. Is there anything I can do to make you change sides?"

"Well," Darmon said after a few seconds, "it's not like we do much, espescially now that Nashter has run off."

"I'm right here," Nashter said, causing the Runics to glare at him.

"What are we going to get out of this?" Shalin asked as he folded his arms.

"First of all, you won't have to flee to another planet if you fail a mission. Second of all," she continued as she put her hands together and bowed, causing everyone to look at her in surprise, "you have my promise that I will help you. The previous Oracle has made some questionable decisions that has caused suffering, and I aim to correct that."

The Runics looked at each other, and nodded their heads. "We will join you," Darmon said. W.I.T.C.H. looked at each other; they were a little suspicious, but surely Yan Lin knew what she was doing.

"Wonderful!" Yan Lin exclaimed. "Now, come here so we can neutralize the dark side of the elements," she said as she turned the screen into a portal. She conjured up the Heart of Kandrakar as they came through, and said, "now, I don't think we can get rid of them completely, and even if we can, we probably shouldn't since darkness is a part of life. Now, I want the Runics to stand around Nashter as he summons his Heart, and I want this universe's Guardians to stand near them and send their powers into their Heart and concentrate on purifying it, and I want their counterparts to come here and help me."

As W.I.T.C.H. got into position and sent their powers into the dark Heart, their alternate universe selves went to Yan Lin, who said they were going to weaken the dark elements' influence in the alternate universes and make sure they couldn't make any more alternate universes.

The others watched as all three groups of Guardians were successful. Well, it looked like two groups were successful, since something was happening by the Runics. Nashter's Heart had been vibrating, and now the Heart of Kandrakar floated over to it and absorbed it.

"Well, that's that," Yan Lin said as the Heart floated back to her. "It seems everything's been taken care of," she continued,"but before I send you all back to your universes, there are some loose ends to wrap up." She gestured at a portal that appeared which an enraged man in Egyptian clothing stepped out of, along with a bunch of guards.

"Greeting, High Priest," Yan Lin said before the man could say anything. "You may have noticed some changes. Well, I have taken the liberty of making sure you cannnot threaten Kandrakar ever again. I don't expect you and your allies to join Kandrakar or anything like that, but I expect that you won't invade any planets or ally yourselves with Kandrakar's enemies." As the High Priest started yelling at her, Yan Lin bellowed, "AM I CLEAR?" while holding the Heart of Kandrakar high. Four life-size dragons made out of light came out of it and bared their teeth at the High Priest. "Now," the Oracle continued calmly, "I am willing to assign an ambassador to you or aid you in any other way if you want, but I will not tolerate you spreading fear and chaos in any way."

The High Priest glared at her and went back through the portal in a huff with his guards.

"I expect we'll be hearing more from him later," Yan Lin said. "Now," she said to the ones from the alternate universes, "thank you very much for coming, and we will probably be seeing each other later as well since I will keep in touch every so often." She made the portals again and they stepped through. "Now for the Runics," she said, "it's a bit more complicated. They have been told by the High Priest, who you saw before, tales of how corrupt and ineffective Kandrakar was and that overthrowing it would benefit everyone, and the previous Oracle had also made some questionable decisions, which proved to them the need to overthrow Kandrakar. It's also possible that the High Priest will try to take revenge on them, and/or he will find a way to get a new set of Runics. So in addition to monitoring him, we will need to monitor you," she said as she looked at the boys. "I will of course have to ensure that you don't pose a risk to Kandrakar," she said apologetically as she caused them to fall asleep and land on the mattresses that she conjured up.

"I'm sure they don't pose any threat, and they don't have powers anymore," Nashter said.

"I know, but I can't think about them now," Yan Lin said with a sigh. "By the way, we will have to talk about you being on Earth," she said to Nashter.

"Queen Elyon, King Phobos, there some things I need to discuss with you," she said as she conjured up an Astral Drop. "I am busy, so kindly follow her and she will explain," she said as the Drop walked out of the room. The royals shrugged and followed.

"Nashter, I am sending you and your friends to your house and we will talk soon. And don't worry, I will make sure the High Priest does not come after you."

After the boys were sent to Earth, she turned to the girls and said,"okay, now it's time to talk about some history. There was a generation of Guardians before us, who also came from Heatherfield."

She gestured, amd holograms of five girls in Guardian uniforms in the fashion of 100 years ago appeared with their elemental signs underneath. "These are Clarabelle, Ling, Aisling, Rosalinda, and Athena," she continued, pointing to each girl as she said her name.

Clarabelle had on a blue, long-sleeved, high-necked shirt with matching ruffles going from the neckline to the shoulders and upper chest. Her purple, floor-length, pleated skirt had a pattern of blue checks and her blond braid was tied with a purple bow. Purple lace-up boots peeked out of her skirt.

Aisling's purple shirt was like Clarabelle's, and her blue floor-length skirt was straight and ruffled, with purple shoes with straps peeking out from underneath. Her red hair was in a pompadour with a bun on top.

Rosalinda's blue shirt was like Clarabelle's but without the ruffles, and was tucked into a skirt that was also like Clarabelle's but without the checked pattern. Her black hair was shoulder-length and curled with a purple hair comb in it, and purple shoes with a matching bow on the front of each peeked out of her skirt.

Athena's plain blue shirt was high-necked as well, but the sleeves stopped right after her elbows, and her purple, floor-length skirt was straight with buttons on the side, with purple boots peeking out from underneath. Her long black hair was in ringlets, and blue, lacy, wrist-length gloves were on her hands.

Ling wore a long, plain, purple qipao with long sleeves and a short slit on the right side. Matching Chinese slippers peeked out from underneath and her black har was in a bun and secured with a blue jeweled pin.

"I'm showing you these pictures because they explain some of the magical children. Most of these girls have descendants here in Heatherfield," Yan Lin explained. "When you have time, I think you should investigate their families. That's all for now," she said with a sigh.

"Grandma, can we help you with anything?" Hay Lin asked.

"You girls just concentrate on being the best Guardians you can be, and keep on recording everything you find out about your powers," Yan Lin replied. "You girls as well," she said to MAGIC. "Now, I have a few things to mention before you go home. Firstly, as Guardians, you are ambassadors of Kandrakar. However, since you each have your own lives, I therefore thought we can split up your duties. In fact, I asked Irma to be the official ambassador and I had in mind other official duties for each of you. Of course, it's entirely up to you if you wish to do so, and like I told all the rulers before, I do want all of them to have their own Guardian teams. Secondly, I have another theory about the magical people. Kandor did say he found Lumia all over the world, which means there are magical people in those places, and those magical people aren't wizards or witches, but they have what I call Simple Magic. I believe that since we didn't have a Heart of Earth until Meg, all that magic went to others. It's possible that there won't be any more people born with magic, Simple or otherwise, while there's an official Heart of Earth or a group that shares its powers. Thirdly, we are trying to keep magic a secret from the general population, but that may have to come to an end at one point. And lastly, I'm sure there are those in the Congregation who are upset at what I'm doing, and they may try to persuade everyone else to choose a new Oracle. But until that happens, I will do my best to ensure that there won't be any magical threats to worry about. Now go enjoy the rest of your day," she said as she sent them back to Earth, specifically to the Magic Bus. She then made her way to where the royal siblings were.

At the bus, since it was a Sunday, the ten girls sat around and talked for a little bit.

"So, we decided on a date, which is my birthday!" Will announced. "We also decided that we would have a small wedding for family and close friends, then we'd have a separate magical celebration here." She smiled as everyone squealed and bombarded her with questions. Will answered them giddily; she was getting married!

Epilogue

Will walked down the aisle, to where a beaming Matt stood. The two exchanged vows and rings, then kissed as everyone cheered.

"Time to throw the bouquet!" Susan announced, and Will's friends giggled as they lined up. Will threw it, and Cornelia used her powers to catch it.

"I guess I'm getting married next," she said, causing Peter to gulp.

In Kandrakar, the Oracle watched with a smile on her face and four women standing next to her. Well, one woman and three spirits. It took some work, but she finally had all of her friends together with her. Of course, she knew it would take some more work for them to be close again, but she was sure it wouldn't be long before it was just like old times, especially when she saw Nerissa wipe away a tear.

A big thank you to everyone who read and reviewed. I decided that this will be the last chapter because there's not much else to say. I do intend to write some more stories including a next generation one that will be a continuation of this one, but I don't know when they will come out. I am also trying to write a book but it's going pretty slowly. If anyone wants to work with me and be my co-author on my book, please PM me.
