"Archangel!" He stopped in his tracks, helmet on, hands already braced on the window frame to heave himself out. He turned to look at her, but she could not see his face. She held her hand out to him.

"Please don't go." She begged, unsolicited tears escaping her eyes. He let go of the window frame but didn't relax. He started to pace, both hands reaching up and grasping his helmet in what looked like frustration.

He started to ramble in his frustration. A rushed combination of clicks and chirps.

"I can't lose you too.." She whimpered as she dropped to her knees. The pain in her voice broke him free of the anxious pacing he was in. He watched her as she curled against the floor, her head against her forearms, and her body shook with each sob.

His heart dropped to his stomach as he ran to her, throwing his helmet off at his feet before kneeling down to scoop her onto his lap. He pulled her head against his shoulder and wrapped his arms around her tiny frame. His chest rumbled gently in an attempt to soothe her.

"Please don't go Archangel," she whimpered between sobs, "I'm so sorry, please don't run away. You're the only thing I have left, I'm scared and I don't know what to do anymore. Please don't go, I can't lose you too."

She felt his grip around her tighten and his chin on the top of her head, his jaws fluttering and tickling her hair. She looked up to see his bright blue eyes. Soft, but worried. She pulled her sleeves up in her hands to wipe her face. She hated the sensation of crying. The dampness seeping into everything it touched. She felt his fingers on her cheek, his thumb gently rubbing away the crease in her brow. She let herself relax under his touch, but realized he wasn't letting himself relax, his hands cautious and his body stiff.

She looked up when he made a quiet click to get her attention. He looked down and back up at her, she didn't need to hear the apology in his voice to tell that's what he was saying. She reached her hand up to caress his jaw, shaking her head.

"You don't need to apologize, it's ok. I don't think either of us really knew what we were doing." She felt her cheeks get hot thinking about it.

She turned her head to avoid him seeing her blush, but she had no such luck. He turned her chin back to face him, now with a frown on his brow. He tapped her cheek and cocked his head, as if asking "what's this?". It only made her blush harder. His expression didn't change and guessing he wasn't about to take a lack of answer she sighed in defeat. She tapped the side of her temple, before trailing her finger along the line he trailed with his tongue.

His eyes widened. His own blue blush creeping up his neck. She couldn't help but giggle at his own reaction. She tapped his neck before tapping his temple and then hers. You're thinking what I'm thinking. She couldn't stop the grin from spreading across her cheeks. His mouth seemed to open and close, but no sounds came out. It was like he didn't know what to say.

She didn't even think as to why she took his hand and placed it on her throat again, holding it there gently with her own, letting him know it was alright. He seemed startled by her action, until she placed her free hand on his jaw, petting it lightly with her thumb. His eyes closed as he leaned into her hand, finally relaxing. Everything was ok. His hand slowly stroked her throat just the same way she stroked him.

She felt the tingle from his touch start to spread again. This time she just wanted to feel it, understand it. Her body never had a reaction like this to any human boy she's dated, so why now? Why in the arms of her alien saviour, did her body want this? She didn't even know if it was physically possible for them to do what her body now craved. Still cradled in his arms she reached her hand back behind his neck.

His eyes opened slowly now, and she watched them lock onto hers. She had to know, so she did the only thing she knew. She pulled herself closer, and without worrying about what happened next, she kissed the edge of his jaw closest to his mouth as she could, and smiled when she heard him purr. She continued to leave a trail of kisses along his jaw and down his neck. The purr turned into a lower rumble as she went down his neck.

She only looked up when she could go no further, he opened his eyes to meet hers, and she could see he craved it too. His eyes almost seemed heavy, and his breathing became heavier, letting his jaws flutter with every exhale. It was the only confirmation she needed. She shifted to her feet, pulling the dazed Turian with her. She signalled for him to come with her and led him around the old tractor to where her bed of clothes and blankets lay.
