Hey everyone! JoshDD here, I've decided to finish 'Marshall's Endearment' once and for all. Expect 2 chapters a week. All chapters are finished in advance just to let you know so a chapter will be uploaded every Monday and Thursday. There are 7 chapters left including this one so this fanfic will have a total of 14 chapters. We're halfway through.

Every chapter from this one and onwards will have 1500-2500 words max.

As for my other stories, I've got no information on them at the moment. I'm thinking of coming back to 'Remember Me' as I was always interested in the plot to that story. But even that seems like a mile away to finish. I'll definitely however finish 'Shenanigans' off soon enough since I've just got one more chapter left for that. Weird how I never finished it but that'll be soon.

I am currently focused on a new story, 'The Mystic Hour.' I've got several chapters concluded and I'm more than satisfied with it. You might be seeing that in early 2021...hopefully. I will be busy though so no promises.

I hope all of you are doing okay. It's been rough these last months but we gotta push through! Oh and Happy New year to all of you! ;)

Other than that, welcome back to Marshall's Endearment I guess. I hope you guys enjoy this. If you forgot everything that has happened in this story (I did lol) then I would suggest you re-read it again to understand what's happening in this chapter and the ones ahead.

Let me know in the reviews what you think of this.

Rocky knew he wasn't getting any closer to finding out Marshall's secret now that Everest was gone for a few days. If anything he was drifting further away from Marshall's secret and not closer. 'Maybe this is the best thing for me...so I don't get out of control further and find myself in unnecessary trouble.'

As the mix-breed was pondering over that thought he wasn't looking where he was going. He bumped into Chase, his sight directly on him and not on his mind anymore.

"How about you watch where you're going!" Chase snapped, aggravated with a frown.

Rocky took a step back. "S-Sorry, Chase. Heh, I guess I was too distracted-"

"Yeah, no way Sherlock." Chase interrupted him, shouldering him to the side and walking on by.

Rocky gulped slightly. "What's his problem?" He whispered. Without thinking, he raised his voice at Chase. "Chase I said what's your problem?!"

Chase stopped in his tracks upon hearing his friends raised voice. He shook his head and turned around, his facial expression irritated once again. 'Seriously?' He thought, amused. "What's my problem? Don't act like you don't know, snooper."

"Snooper?"

"Yeah, you heard me, Rocky. How about you mind your own business instead of poking your nose around where you shouldn't? There's a reason why they're called secrets in the first place!"

"Pfffh. What a hypocrite you are."

"Excuse me?"

"You're here telling me to mind my own business when you should mind your own damn business..." Rocky realising what he said put on a worrisome look. No. He needed to be brave! He quickly replaced that look with a smirk.

The German Shepherd glared at him, which made Rocky get a sudden chill to his body.

"You better watch your mouth unless you want to be a trash like you've always been. What I'm saying is...don't be curious. You and I both know what that led to last time, unless you want a repetition of that."

With that being said, the German Shepherd turned around.

This left Rocky lowering his head in shame, the flashbacks coming back to him. "You have...no right..." He whispered but Chase didn't hear. Anger started boiling inside of him and he let loose. "THANKS A LOT JERK!" He then ran away crying.

Chase realising what he said, turned around and gasped. "Rocky..." He suddenly felt bad and knew he went too far.

Marshall sighed. All he could think about was Everest. It was only one day that passed but it felt much longer to the Dalmatian. It felt like weeks! With nothing better to do, the Dalmatian flopped himself on a beanie and was caught day dreaming, not realising someone was calling out to him.

"Hello? MARSHALL!"

Marshall finally caught unaware, fell backwards in a fright.

"Oops. Sorry about that Marshall."

Marshall looked up and saw Chase looking down at him with his tilted.

"Heh, heh. It's okay. I'm okay!" He got himself up and exhaled. "So, what's up Chase?"

"Just wanted to check in on you, Marshall. I know how..." He moved his eyebrows up and down in motion, teasing him. "-hard it is without Everest."

Marshall rolled his eyes and smiled. "Be quiet, Chase. The others can hear you."

"Yeah, yeah."

Marshall sighed. "Yeah. It's pretty difficult."

"Don't forget you've got your friends here too. Everest isn't your only friend. We're your family too!"

"Y-You're right.."

"Of course I am, Marshall..." Suddenly, Chase gasped. "Wait! I know the perfect idea to get your mind off Everest until she gets back!"

"Y-You do?"

"Yes! You know those tickets Ryder has been saving for us pups to the Waterpark Area?"

"Yeah, what about' em?"

"Let's get the others and have some fun there for the next day, I'm sure Ryder would approve! We'll have one hell of a time!"

Marshall howled in excitement. "I CAN'T WAIT!" The Dalmatian started running.

"Uh, Marshall that's the wrong direction." Chase pointed out.

"I knew that!"

Chase chuckled.

In the next hour, Ryder called the pups to observation room. He also told them they didn't need to worry as this wasn't an emergency.

As soon as the pups were before Ryder, he started talking.

"Pups! You know those tickets to Waterpark Area that I saved for some time? I saved them for the right occasion. And well, what do you say? Are you all up for it?!"

The pups exchanged looks. Not even a second passed as they all howled in unison.

"The WATERPARK? LET'S GOOOO."

"Suddenly my day just got one hundred times better!"

"Let's get wet!"

"Awesome! Since the weather today is phenomenal and it will be for the next 2 days we'll be spending today and tomorrow at the Waterpark where we'll rent a hotel for 2 days and 2 nights. Other than that..." Ryder glimpsed at his watch, then back at the pups. "We'll be leaving in 2 hours so pack whatever you need to pack guys, just nothing too excessive. I've made all the necessary arrangements. The hotel is booked and Adventure Bay will be fine without us for the next 2 days."

With that being said the pups went back down the elevator to pack.

Everyone was expecting Marshall to exaggerate with the things needed at the waterpark...and they were right.

"I just...can't...seem...to fit this inside." Marshall said, struggling with sweat to close the suitcase. "Come on..."

Chase walked up to him in astonishment. "Uh, buddy, you sure you need all this...?"

Marshall looked up at Chase. "What kind of question is that Chase, of course I-" Then Marshall finally realized what he was packing. "Hmm...I guess that is a lot."

Ryder walked up to them with a cap, shirt and shorts on. He had a tube of sun cream in his hand.

"You pups ready? We'll be leaving in ten minutes."

"Yeah, we're almost ready, Ryder." Skye answered with a smile on her face.

"Great! I'll be in the PAW patroller until then pups!" Ryder was about to head inside the PAW patroller before he heard a beep inside his pocket. Knowing what it was, he grabbed it and answered it. "Hello? Oh, hi Jake! Hey, Everest, what's up?"

"The sky." A voice said when Ryder put them into video chat. The screen showed Jake lowering the pup to Everest's level. "Hey, Ryder!"

"And nice joke." Ryder giggled. Everest thanked him.

Marshall hearing Everest's voice ran up to Ryder. "Hey Everest!"

"Marshy!"

"How are you doing, Everest? Are you liking it there?"

"Absolutely! I can't wait to talk to you about the stuff Jake has showed me, it's incredible and entertaining to hear!"

"I can't wait!" Marshall replied, wagging his tail.

Everest saw the background and seen the other pups packing. She tilted her head in confusion. "Huh, where are you guys going?"

"Oh right! We're going to the waterpark, it's gonna be so splashy and awesome!"

Everest giggled. "That's awesome to hear, Marshall."

Marshall stopped wagging his tail. "Wait...I forgot all about you. I-I should've asked you before I went-"

"Marshall don't worry about me. Have fun!"

Marshall nodded. "Okay. But next time we're going I'm forcing you to come!"

"Not if you can catch me first. I'll see you later, Marshall."

Ryder raised his pup pad back to him. "We're about to go guys. I hope you guys bring back some souvenirs for good memories!"

"You bet dude!" Jake winked.

With that being said, Ryder hung up and walked inside the PAW patroller.

Chase knowing what he said to Rocky earlier felt guilty so he walked up to him to apologize.

"Hey, Rocky."

Rocky looked up to him with a frown and went back to what he was doing. "What do you want?" He muttered, agitated because of the previous argument.

"Look, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I guess I do need to control my anger every now and then. And when I called you 'trash', I didn't mean it. I promise. I hope you can forgive me."

Rocky glanced at Chase. Without hesitation, he replied.

"Sure."

"Great! Oh and one more thing." Rocky looked at him, awaiting an answer. Chase paused, unsure of whether to say it. Making up his mind, he decided against it. "Never mind, I'll see you in the PAW patroller." Chase left him without another word which confused Rocky.

'Great. All of a sudden I'm curious to know what he said. But I've got bigger things on my mind.' He thought.

Soon enough everyone was done packing and the PAW patroller drove away to their destination!

See you guys on Thursday! It's great to be back! :D
