Heading to the seventh gym, Glitchy discovered it was locked. Speaking to some of the residents, she learnt Blaine is odd, she is not the first to try and challenge him to battle only to find the door locked and, most importantly, the idea a key may be hidden somewhere. Sadly not being a keyblade wielder means she will have to locate the actually key to the gym. So she decided to take the trainer's advice and go explore the burnt-out mansion, Pokémon Mansion, where the gym leader's once lived. Glitchy came to wonder why would Blaine willingly lock himself in his own gym even for a test it seemed rather redundant to her. This doesn't mean she was going to give up and instead she decided to take this rather strange challenge of find the key head on. Glitchy headed to the Pokémon Mansion and began her search for the key.
Whilst exploring Pokémon Mansion, Glitchy came across some dairies scattered throughout the mansion. The first she came across was dated July 5, the author wrote they had discovered a new Pokémon deep in the jungles of Guyana in South America. The next one was dated July 10, the author wrote they had named the newly discovered Pokémon Mew. September 1, the author wrote that Mewtwo is too powerful and they cannot control it. She eventually came across the Secret Key which she assumes will open the door to Blaine's gym. Glitchy left the Pokémon Mansion and headed back to Blaine's gym where she learnt the key worked on the door.
