I looked up when sunset shimmer and her friends reappeared in the hub area and with two additions in my missing pet animatronic and surprisingly vanny.
"Sunset is she who I think she is," I asked surprised as I pushed myself off the desk and walked up to vanny looking her over.
"Yep this is vanny ran into her before school and she had your pet with her," said sunset smiling and I surprised vanny by hugging her.
" Whoa you are quite forward aren't you," vanny asked surprised.
"It's just I wasn't sure we would actually locate you before you end up like your adult self... Still didn't expect the area around your left eye to match the mask you would use after being brainwashed by Afton" I said taking a good look at her face.
" What does my birthmark have to do with some mask," she asked feeling offended.
I waved a hand generating a holographic image of a white rabbit mask with red eyes but the left side and area around the eye were brown looking like a brown spot or burn around the face.
"This is something your adult self made practically idolizing Afton doesn't help I'm from a completely different universe than your world. There were rumors of people just vanishing at conventions didn't expect it to happen to me or figure out that the rumors were true. Anyway up on the stage is Freddy, Bonnie, and chica while over there in that little alcove are foxy. I'm still mad at foxy for his comments last time" I said glaring at his area.
" What kind of comments" asked vanny.
"Ones that hit a little too close to home and pissed me off as a result" I deadpanned.
" They scared the hell out of her the first night and the second minigame was when we found out they were sentient foxy commented on her being scary and getting along with chica through that then manipulated her code to imitate a rocket punch down the hall and dislodged his jaw. When he made a further comment she bashed his head into a wall and shut him down then. She had genuine reasons to be mad" sunset explained.
Foxy whimpered at that memory.
" He definitely deserved it for those comments. You don't tell a lady she's scary" said chica with a huff.
" Anyway can I hear these audio tapes? I'm curious about them" vanny said and rolling my eyes I played back the tapes again.
" Okay that's very impressive and that is definitely me," vanny said surprised.
" Well now that you're here we can get started on the first night of fnaf 2 with the toy generation and I can talk to Charlie about what she was thinking when she went after Afton to the point she ended up in a trap designed by her own dad who became suicidal," I said letting sunset approach the terminal to enter night one.
Arriving at the office I turned to sunset.
"Okay I'll talk you through the toys and how to handle them at least we don't have to worry about the withered animatronics since we know them now. First to get the faz-coins for this section put on the mask and the first one will be on the paper behind the clock, the second is in a drawer of the desk and the last one needs Charlie to come out of her box before we can get it. I'll handle any of the toys that come by... I'm more worried vixen is going to attack due to the damage she's in" I said.
" Vixen?" Asked sunset.
" My name for toy foxy she's a female version of him but well children really messed her up in a bad way," I said wincing.
On cue, the phone rang.
"Uh, hello? Hello, hello? Uh, hello and welcome to your new summer job at the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Uh, I'm here to talk you through some of the things you can expect to see during your first week here and to help you get started down this new and exciting career path." Scott informed making sunset quirk an eyebrow and remembered this was a few years before his death by animatronic.
"Uh, no, I want you to forget anything you may have heard about the old location, you know. Uh, some people still have a somewhat negative impression of the company. Uh... That old restaurant was kind of left to rot for quite a while, but I want to reassure you, Fazbear Entertainment is committed to family fun and above all, safety. They've spent a small fortune on these new animatronics, uh, facial recognition, advanced mobility, they even let them walk around during the day. Isn't that neat? -clears throat But most importantly, they're all tied into some kind of criminal database, so they can detect a predator a mile away. Heck, we should be paying them to guard you."
" I technically already have one already guarding me so why would I need to have killbots protecting me" sunset couldn't resist snarking. I rolled my eyes knowing she was venting out her annoyance at the company.
"Uh, now that being said, no new system's without its... Kinks. Uh... You're only the second guard to work at that location. Uh, the first guy finished his week but complained about... Conditions. Uh, we switched him over to the day shift, so hey, lucky you, right? Uh, mainly he expressed concern that certain characters seemed to move around at night and even attempted to get into his office. Now, from what we know, that should be impossible. Uh, that restaurant should be the safest place on earth. So while our engineers don't really have an explanation for this, the working theory is that... The robots were never given a proper "night mode". So when it gets quiet, they think they're in the wrong room, so then they go try to find where the people are, and in this case, that's your office. So our temporary solution is this: there's a music box over by the Prize Counter, and it's rigged to be wound up remotely. So just, every once in a while, switch over to the Prize Counter video feed and wind it up for a few seconds. It doesn't seem to affect all of the animatronics, but it does affect... One of them. -clears throat Uh, and as for the rest of them, we have an even easier solution. You see, there may be a minor glitch in the system, something about robots seeing you as an endoskeleton without his costume on, and wanting to stuff you in a suit, so hey, we've given you an empty Freddy Fazbear head, problem solved! You can put it on anytime, and leave it on for as long as you want. Eventually, anything that wandered in, will wander back out." Scott said kinda rambling at this point.
" And why I am worried about those toys you don't exist in any database so you might end up attacked by the damn facial recognition," I informed her.
" Thanks for worrying about me," said sunset.
"Uh, something else worth mentioning is kind of the modern design of the building. You may have noticed there are no doors for you to close, heh. But hey, you have a light! And even though your flashlight can run out of power, the building cannot. So, don't worry about the place going dark. Well, I think that's it. Uh, you should be golden. Uh, check the lights, put on the Freddy head if you need to, uh, keep the music box wound up, piece of cake. Have a good night, and I'll talk to you tomorrow." Scott finished and I looked at Sunset.
" Sunset the marionette is the one the music box effects now put on the mask and get those faz-coins while I deal with the toys," I said as I can hear toy Bonnie making his way to us. Though surprisingly it was toy chica who entered the office first and she tripped and ended up crashing into me and pinning me to the ground.
I tilted my head to give her a deadpan stare as the lights in her face lit up.
"We know your alive foxy blew it the second night of the first location minigames" I informed her.
" Aww really? And here I was hoping I could prank you guys!" Toy chica pouted her missing beak somehow letting her move her expression like a human. she pulled me to a sitting position and promptly sat in my lap hugging me.
"What are you doing?" I asked confused.
"Well you are very cute so hope you don't mind keeping me company" purred toy chica.
" Oh hell I forgot your personality in the ultimate custom night is that of a yandere so please curb that I don't even know my preferences like that," I told her and she looked at me surprised before huffing.
" I'm not that version of me I don't go killing the object of my affection in a bout of crazy no I'm the type that's very affectionate to those that see me for who I am and not some object," she said snuggling me.
" Considering your design you have to wonder what Afton was thinking with your look. Then again after what happened to Chris and Elizabeth, he must have gone very much off the deep end when he programmed your real selves" I informed giving sunset a look when she giggled.
" Sorry sis but this is hilarious you haven't been animatronic for barely three days and you already picked up a girlfriend of sorts which is pretty funny," sunset said picking up the faz-coins and I looked to the right vent glaring at toy Bonnie.
"One word from you effeminate bunny boy and you will see what I did to foxy for pissing me off happens to you" I growled and a voice whimpered from the direction of parts and service.
Eventually, I looked up as I realized I couldn't hear the music box.
"Sunset did you forget the music box," I asked.
"Whoops," sunset said and I gently moved toy chica so I could stand up and get ready for a possible pissed off puppet.
Sure enough, I spotted Charlette floating at the end of the hall and definitely in a rage.
"Charlie! Calm down! Neither of us is Afton now for god's sake we need to talk!" I said to the stunned puppet.
" How did you know who I am" asked Charlie narrowing her eyes.
"I'm in a similar situation as you only I'm not a ghost possessing an animatronic that actually left the building to find you in a storm" I deadpanned.
" How did you know that!" Charlie asked blushing.
" Video game series called five nights at Freddy's I'm not looking forward to the Fazbear frights section as the original glitchtrap was a malware virus that was the copied uploaded mind of William Afton who is springtrap. I ended up as a version of glitchtrap when I ended up in this game. Springtrap is going to be a pain in the neck that is going to be mad that I'm preventing him from brainwashing sunset here" I said deadpan.
" Okay, so you just have to face all of us to prepare for springtrap?" Asked Charlie.
"And find the rest of me. I'm split into various parts of my personality scattered throughout the game. And trust me those phantoms are annoying" I said sighing. Though toy chica immediately grabbed me in a hug and I gave her an unamused look.
"TC you are being way too forward you don't even know me so let's just start as friends first," I said making toy Bonnie chuckle.
" Considering you look like a female toy spring Bonnie and thus look like you can be my sister I'll make sure she behaves" toy Bonnie assured as the minigame ended and we returned to the hub area where vanny rushed to check me over.
"Thank God you didn't get dented nothing got pinched when she hugged you like that right?" Asked vanny.
" Hey! I know my own strength to not hurt another animatronic! You sounding like me when it comes to people that see who you are and not what you are" toy chica said from her place in the hub area.
Vanny blushed stammering.
"Marie why did you end up attracting two girls to you that quick" teased sunset as she looked at me.
" I honestly don't know seeing as I'm not fully myself until we locate the rest of me... I can definitely tell while I do have my compassion side I don't have my romantic side so I honestly don't understand what they see in me there" I deadpanned.
" Well you are a very cute bunny that's making it hard to resist cuddling you" vanny and toy chica couldn't resist saying before giving each other surprised looks.
" You do know she's an animatronic and thus unable to have kids right" asked toy chica giving vanny a knowing look.
" We can still Build one to be modular to simulate growing up" vanny deadpanned.
" I'm not hearing this discussion! Please don't remind me I'm pretty much a teenage robot I definitely don't want to know what will happen if someone pulls a Nora Wakeman" I said recalling that old cartoon.
Taking that as a cue sunset sent them into the next night.
