Teela's Sword
I own nothing of MOTU, He-man or the characters there in. In this story Teela gets her own power sword and learns how life is with a duel identity. When an ancient evil arises our heroes must travel time and space to gather forces to combat it and save a childhood friend.
CHAPTER 11 THE TEAM COMES TOGETHER
JC has returned with news of the snakemen's extinction, turns out it was unwise to anger the Earth warrior. Randor turned to his wife and asked if all of Earths warriors were that dangerous, Marlena laughed saying no just special forces and maybe Texas rangers. Skeletor shows up with a couple shards of the Diamond Ray of Disappearance fused together in an eternium case, he had fused them together using fire from the Heart of Eternia. Thanks to the Faceless one the power of the shard dispelled dark energies, that meant they could disrupt Shokoti and give Damani a chance to escape her grasp. Teela was so happy she actually kissed his cheek (Well cheekbone) this caused the former villain to blush, seeing that she transformed and hugged him in her wings. A golden light surrounded them and when it died he was once again Keldor, this had many smile and some clasp him welcoming back their old friend. For the first time in years Keldor cried tears of joy as he embraced his daughter Keltra and clasp hands with his brother in law Randor.
Now that they had an idea on how to save Damani, they just needed to figure out how to lure her out. Adam snapped his fingers saying they need to hold a contest for the sword of the Sorceress, Keldor says he didn't know the Sorceress had a sword. Adam laughs saying "She don't but Shokoti doesn't know that."
JC says "I'll make one give me a week, two if you want it fancy."
Teela says "Take a month and get my father to help if you need to."
Keldor says he'll help since it should have magic in it, JC thanks him saying he could use the help since he don't know magic. The two head off talking about designs for it, Keldor asked if JC would make him a sword Later and JC agreed. Teela and Evil-Lyn along with Keltra head to castle Grayskull, Adam takes D'Vann and Dare to He-man's training grounds for a workout. Adora takes Eva to meet her friends on Etheria who are pounding the Horde thanks to Weaver and some others that turned on them. It seems many had only supported the Horde due to Weaver's magic or family taken prisoner, Weaver had released them from her spells and freed the prisoners.
They were at the Fright Zone and the rebels had the Horde pinned in, Adora drew her sword and Transformed then she and Eva charged in. The look on Hordak's face as he saw two She-Ra's was priceless, One was bad enough but the new one was bigger and more powerful than the one he had been dealing with. She-ra kicked a tank away while She-La punched one sending it flying. At that both sides froze in shock, while the rebels cheered the Horde didn't feel so great. Hordak was in his throne room in a panic as the two women smashed their way through his forces, Then the wall exploded as the two women entered She-La growled "You I thought father killed you eons ago Horde Prime!"
Hordak jumped in his seat and said "I'm not Horde Prime I'm his little brother Hordak, and the only one to ever hurt him was...D'Vann Grayskull." (GULP) "Don't tell me he is your Father."
Eva says "Yes he is and I want answers or I'll get him here to have a chat with you about annoying his daughter."
Hordak fainted of fright, this caused She-Ra to laugh throwing her head back at the irony of the master of the Fright Zone fainting of fright on his throne. An hour later Etheria was Horde free, many members of the Horde had decided to stay and help the recovery of Etheria. They had fell in love with the planet and some had families there, so they were welcomed after swearing loyalty to Etheria's defense. Now that the Horde was gone Weaver joined them along with Catra and they returned to Eternia.
Teela, Lyn, and Keltra trained with the Sorceress gaining much power with their magic, Teela-Na even thought about passing the mantle of Sorceress to Lyn or Keltra since Teela didn't want it. When Teela mentioned Adam's plan to draw out Shokoti her mother laughed saying she wish she had a sword and maybe afterwards she could have it, Teela nodded saying "I'm sure JC would be happy to give it to you." then muttered under her breath "In more ways than one."
The Sorceress looked at her and asked "HMM What was that dear Daughter?"
Teela just hid her smirk shaking her head and waving a hand, Sorceress just shrugged not actually catching what she had muttered. Lyn and Keltra smirked finding it funny. They knew JC was down because Eva had started to avoid him after learning he was a mutant, personally they didn't see what the big deal was. He was strong kind and a fearsome warrior not to mention built like Adam and handsome, what's not to like. It was then JC came out of nowhere holding a foam sword, he had the Sorceress to hold it and take a few swings. Never really using one before he and Teela had to instruct her on sword form and finesse, five minutes later he had shaved away some of the foam and had a better handle fit. Then he thanked her and left, this left everyone shocked since nobody not even Teela-Na knew he had been there.
JC and Keldor left Grayskull and headed to the widget village, they got a few coridite crystal shards for the sword and a chunk of rainbow crystal. Then they thanked the little people, Keldor even placed a spell on their wall to strengthen it and add to their magic defense. Soon the Duo started to forge the sword, using a volcano as a forge they fused the coridite shards into a single piece in the form of a rod. JC created a damascus steel out of Eternium, Photanium, and Draconium, the three strongest steels known to Eternia. JC then forged it around the coridite rod and forged it into a thin rapier blade, this made it light and very fast. With Keldor pumping raw magic power into it the blade started to glow as he quenched and tempered it, then they made a handguard shaped like falcon wings. Using a dragon fang as a handle and the rainbow crystal as a pummel they put it together and with one last outpour of power the whole sword turned a pale blue. JC accented it in gold plate and polished it to perfection, Keldor made a sheath that allowed one to hide the fact they were wearing a sword as JC sharpened his masterpiece.
When the two men presented the sword at the end of the month everyone was in awe, the Sorceress began to wear it and learned at Grayskull that sword would be key to her future and of every future Sorceress to come. The Royal family took a picture of the Sorceress with her new sword and made posters of it saying she was holding a contest to find the next one to inherit the sword and title of Sorceress of Grayskull, this caused a surgence of magic casters. Shokoti noticed and made plans to try to steal the sword during the contest, it did look like a sword that would fit the Sorceress' style.
At Castle Grayskull nobody noticed the spirits held within were messing with the sword. As Teela-Na slept she dreamed of her sword and the words "FOR THE LOVE OF GRAYSKULL!" rang out in her head. floating over her was the spirit of Queen Aveena with a smile on her face as she whispered "For the love of Grayskull."
NOTE Sorry I was away so long I was in the hospital for my heart condition, I'm back now no thanks to a some creeps harassing me. Things will pick up in the next chapter but I don't think I'll make this go to twenty chapters like I planned, I think it will end in three or four more at most. I just don't see the interest in it to be worth the hassle, but I never leave a story without an end so it will have an end. I may come back later and do a sequel though.
