Chapter 9- Tikki's Gift
Marinette woke up to the sweet smell of waffles and popped out from her covers, after getting out of bed and putting on her slippers, she went to take a shower, the best thing about the dorm rooms in Ironheart are the showers, it seems that state of the art was more than just a selling pitch.
When she got out and took a look at the mirror, she noticed somthing different, for starters, she was at least 2 and a half feet taller, her bust size was at least an 2 inches bigger than before, and to top it all off, her body has gone from the small, petite frame she used to have, to that of an athletic supermodel!
"What the?" Marinette squeaked as she poked her mini 6-pack.
But what really freaked her out was the two small antenae on her head, they looked just like Tikki's
She decided to tell her Roomates, Anton and Tia about this, oddly enough, Tia actually like the new Marinette and Anton was curious.
"Tia, this is serious, the metamorphpsis Marinette just went through is physicly impossible, it would take far more than a simple growth spurt to bring about those changes so quickly!" Anton explained.
Tia and Anton knew all about the fact that Marinette was Ladybug, and how Tikki used the last of her strengh to save her life.
"i have studied the existance of the kwamis' for some time, and i have and idea as to what happened." spoke Anton, "i have heard that if the bond between a Kwami and it's chosen are strong enough, the chosen is endowed with their strengh when it dies."
Marinette's eyes widened, did Tikki give her some of her power to save her life?
As the day passed, Marinette was able do some amazing things:
During Gym, she managed to score 7 goals in Soccer, she could jump a lot higher and managed to get Nebula's Kite from the roof of the school, and finally, beat Tia in a arm wrestling match.
Tikki had indeed made Marinette stronger than ever, so much so that she now wears her antenae with pride, a reminder of the gift Tikki gave her.
