Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Codename: Kids Next Door. I have no idea how old any teens (Chad, Cree, Maurice, Stacey, who will not be dating Chad, and Justin) are. In this story, they're all thirteen but are months apart instead of however many years apart they are in the show and that they all go to the same middle school.

Pairing: Kagome and Chad

Chapter Eight: Chad's Morning Before School

Monday Morning 6:30 A.M

Chad grumbled to himself as he reached from underneath his cover to turn off his alarm clock. Sitting up, he looked around and became momentarily confused about why his room looked different before he remembered that the day before he asked Kagome to change it around for him. Looking it over, he thought about how great it now looked.

She had changed a couple of things for him and added some stuff. One of the things he loved was a spell on his room, so now anything that involved the Kids Next Door or the Teen Next Door, his parents, or anyone who was not him, Kagome, or Maurice would not be able to see it. The areas would appear as they were before Kagome cast the spell.

The wall was now a navy blue instead of the plain white that it used to be. His bed was still a full-sized bed, but now it had another bed connected underneath so that he can slide it out for sleepovers or for what it was currently being used for his six-month-old husky Max.

On both sides of his bed were his nightstands. On his left nightstand were his lamp and alarm clock. On his right nightstand were his English notebook and the next KND invasion plan the Teen Ninjas were planning. He had thrown it there after getting frustrated when reading it over.

His dresser was on the wall near his window. On it was his school backpack, pictures of his with his family, and scattered papers he really needed to throw away or pick up and put away.

Facing his bed was his tv and tv stand. On his tv stand were his Nintendo Switch and Play Station 4 and his games for both consoles. His desk was by his door. On it were a desk lamp and a pencil holder.

At the end of his bed was now a new home for his python Darcy. It was a southern enterprise's terrarium glass display coffee table in black. Of course, inside it was Darcy, along with a heating device, snake hides, and water bowl. Next to it in a spelled box is her food, her favorites, such as mice, rats, birds, bats, and frogs. How they all fit in there and were still alive, he had no idea, and he was not going to question the logic of magic or how it works. That was one migraine he did not want.

By the wall near his bed was Max's dog bed. Next to it, there was a chest and stand for Max's stuff. His toys, shampoo, conditioner, brushes, bath towels, dental chews, large pads, poop bags, carrier, leashes, collars, and lint Rollers. His dog bowls, food, and treats were in the kitchen while his pool, which was a baby's pool, was outside in the shed.

Throwing the covers off himself, Chad grumbled to himself as he began to get ready for the day. Now he just needed to not focus on today's school assembly or, in his case, assemblies for both the school and Teen Next Door.

Daniel and Martha moved quietly around each other as they made breakfast, bacon stuffed french toast, blueberry pancakes, cheesy scrambled eggs, and coffee for them but orange juice for Chad.

They smiled and spoke about their plans for today, along with the new neighbors and Father's latest plan for delightful children from down the lane's upcoming birthday. His plan for this one is once again to make them the famous alamode cake. From what they knew, he was close to finding the recipe; apparently, one of the annoyingly cute triplets who lived upon the hill passed the recipe down her family line. According to Father

she has family somewhere in Japan who may or may not know the recipe.

Now the question is, how were they going to find them?

Stepping into his room, Chad turned on his radio before looking for clothes to get dressed into. Grabbing his bag afterward before placing his notebooks and needed papers into it, he glanced at the area he usually tosses his gym bag at. Seeing it not there, he closed his bag before placing it onto his back before looking around the room. Not seeing it anywhere in sight, Chad wondered where his gym bag was. "I could have sworn I just saw it." He said to himself as he continued to look around.

Opening his closet he rolled his eyes when he saw it tucked in the corner. Grabbing it he grumbled about how he knew it was his mom who moved it in there like she always did.
