As the pilots learned to manipulate the arcane machinery of the Divine Beasts, Purah led a research expedition to the otherworldly edifice that had appeared in Hyrule Field. This Sheikah tower was far from the only one of its kind. In fact, multiple structures were embedded across the land, all controlled by a device inside Hyrule Castle. To activate the device, they would have to bond a tower with a Sheikah Slate. Zelda, Purah, the heroes and Champions set out to do just that.
"So… Hestu, right? You really decided to stick around with us?" David asked.
"Of course. You need help." Hestu said as they worked on restoring the towers.
"Well, I guess I can't argue with that. Plus, someone like you would bring a lot of positive energy to this group." David said.
"Of course! I bring life and joy to the forest of Korok after all. Shakashaka!" Hestu said.
"Okay...that does it for this tower. All that remains is the one in Akkala and we have the network all set up." Miu said.
"So what's the point of all this?" Nami asked.
"We'd be able to teleport all across Hyrule and locate monster camps." Miu said. "Including the hideout of the Yiga Clan."
"Oooh, that sounds useful." ZS said.
"And once we get all of the towers online, we'll be able to take the attack right to Kohga's house." Glimmer said.
"Wonderful." Freyja said with a smile, as she had been present, though Siege hadn't been for this discussion.
As they got back to solid ground, a Hylian Captain reported in.
"Reporting in! Sooga and the Yiga clan have captured Akkala Citadel, and have blocked off the bridge getting to it!" the captain said.
"Sounds like Sooga doesn't want us completing our mission." Hope said.
Siege heard this as he rejoined everyone. "Well in that case, we better go tell him straight that this mission has to be completed. With more than words."
"Right...it's time to take back Akkala." Jexi said as they departed to Akkala.
As they got to the citadel, they saw that the Yiga clan had heavily hunkered down inside the citadel.
"We'll have to get rid of the bridge blockade first. Cheetah, maybe we could use one of the old guardians to clear it." Adora said.
"If we can reactivate the old guardians scattered around, we should be able to clear them. Let's capture the outposts and see if we can use them." Cheetah said.
"You got it." Siege said.
They hurried across to each outpost and worked on capturing each one. "What's with these weird devices?" Jet asked.
"These furnaces act like amplifiers for Sheikah devices like the guardians. This'll help amplify their power." Aqua said.
"Which means if we increase the output, the old Guardians scattered around will grow stronger." Cheetah said.
With that in mind, the heroes powered up the Furnaces, thus strengthening all the deactivated guardians in the area. And with their little guide's help, they were able to reactivate two of them. Both blew open the gates of the citadel.
"Gate's open!" Siege said. "Let's take down the Yiga Clan!"
They proceeded on inside and started to fight against the Yiga Clan with Sooga leading them.
"I'm not surprised we'd run into you again." Zacian said.
Sooga remained quiet as he went right into battle as Zacian blocked.
"Cutting to the chase, huh? Then let's go." Zamazenta said.
Both Sword and Shield pokemon fought against Sooga and his two bladed style. Both were soon drawn to a corner before more of the heroes were flooding in.
"Seems now is the time to leave." Sooga said as he vanished just as they charged in.
"We've done it. The citadel is under our command once again." Urbosa said.
"Still, that Sooga really is strong if he was able to hold the both of us back as long as he did." Zamazenta said.
"Yes. I can tell from the first time we fought him too. This guy is serious business. If he was able to hold his ground against the both of us and our champions, then he clearly is someone to be taken seriously if we value our lives. One misstep, and that would've been the end." Zacian said.
"Thankfully, now that we've taken it back, we can activate the tower and Click! Snap! We'll have our eyes on their hideout." Purah said.
It wasn't long before they synced the slate with the tower as they looked through a map of all of Hyrule.
"Here we go." Purah said.
"I see...there's a number of signatures near Gerudo Canyon." Rias said.
"Hmm...given it's their home base...they're going to be incredibly defensive." Raine said.
"If that is the case...it may be my turn to step in once we get there." Urbosa said.
"Yes, your Divine Beast will clear us a path and a way inside." Cheetah said.
"This is it. Operation Destroy the Yiga Clan...is underway." Siege said.
