In the headmaster's office, Yagari stared at the picture of the three discipline committee members given to him by Kaien. He was particularly looking at Zero, who has grown so much since they last saw each other.

"It's been four years since that incident." Yagari said. "To think that I'd actually see him alive again...and with you of all people."

"The brown haired girl in the picture is my Yuki." Kaien smiled, proudly holding a bunch of pictures in his hand. "She's really reliable..."

"It's that so.." Yagari interrupted, his gaze shifted to the other female in the picture. "So that's her, huh? Heard you are training her to be a vampire hunter."

The headmaster blinked and nodded. "Yes, unfortunately...But as her father, I have to respect Auska's choice. She is incredibly skilled though. Her marksmanship with her bow is beyond spectacular..."

"Just like her mother?"

Kaien gaped silently as the hunter interrupted him again. "She even looks like her..."

Seeing that Yagari's expression stiffen a little, Kaien took the opportunity to change the topic. "Oh yeah...all three of them help look after the Night class every night..."

"A level E found it's way to town today." The hunter interrupted.

Karen nodded muddleheadly. "I see. So, did you do your job?"

"No. Someone beat me too it."

The headmaster gave a muddlehead smile. "Really? I wonder who could it be that saved the town..."

"Stop playing dumb." Yagari glared at Kaien. "I know it was someone from the night class. They merely use their "obligation" as an excuse to enjoy the hunt. Hunting vampires is a job for us vampire hunters."

Kaien turned to face him, his expression a little more serious than before. "Even so, you're prohibited from killing vampires without due cause." He reminded the hunter as Yagari gets ready to leave.

"Then again, why did you come here in the first place?" Kaien questioned. "It's not like you obey orders so readily."

"To fulfill my oath to him." Yagari replied, ready to exit.

"On yeah, since your here, why don't you get to know Auska a little." The headmaster suggested, causing the hunter to tense up a little. "Since your an experienced vampire hunter, I'm sure there are some advice you could give her."

"There is no point." Yagari grunted, relaxing his body. "If you recall, Taira no longer wants anything to do with our family."

"Yes, but blood is blood." Kaien countered. "She may be my daughter now, but she is still your niece."

A stagnant pause filled the room. Without giving an answer, Yagari left the office, leaving the headmaster and his crazy antics. As he walked along the corridor, the vampire hunter grunt softly as he thought of what Kaien said.

Family huh...I didn't even know she had a kid till then.

*15 years ago*

"What do you mean that baby is her kid." Yagari yelled, grabbing Kaien by the collar.

Seeing that they were attracting everyone's attention in the facility, Kaien tried to calm the hunter down. "It's as I told you. The DNA results states that baby I brought in is her's."

Yagari combed his fingers through his hair, not sure how to process the news.

A week ago, the organization received news that the Edelweiss village has been massacred by a Pureblood vampire.

Knowing that's where Taira have decided to settle down after retiring from the organization, Yagari immediately rushed to the scene. When he got there, he was unable to identify her body from the sea of corpses, all bloodied, scared and decapitated. Adults and children alike were among the deceased. No one survived.

Then, when a group of hunters brought in the rotting body of a headless woman, he knew it instantly it was his sister.

It was also around that day where Kaien, who also received news, brought an infant girl to the vampire organization and convinced it's doctors to do a DNA test on the body and his new daughter.

"So your telling me before that beast killed Taira, she managed to get out of the village and save her child." Yagari said.

Kaien nodded. "It seems that way. I also found more records on the baby."

"Her birth name is Fuyuko Owari, born two months ago. She is the daughter of the village's pharmacist, Shiro Owari, and your twin sister, Taira Yagari."
