Chapter 10
Christmas wakes up to screams, and he immediately looks around. A swarm of red spiders cover Marie's body and a cannon go off. He takes a bag and her weapons and runs. They are coming for him.
He stops for a second and finds a brilliant plan. He has one last piece of bread which he could throw to lure the spiders away. Without hesitation, the bread leaves his hand, and the spiders come charging after it. This is his chance to run.
A minute later, all the spiders had destroyed the bread, and are coming back towards Christmas and the other tributes. Ebony Comes with a knife in hand, but Christmas reveals his sword and she runs away. She lost all her other weapons in the spiders. Terror fills Draco's eyes as Ocean ambushes him, forcefully pushing her trident into his stomach. Blood stains the grass, and the cannon goes off. Christmas only has Ebony and Ocean left. If he kills them, he could go home.
