Erratic breathing. Followed by blurry vision. Eye lids dropping. Speed depleted.

Trouble keeping his eyes open causes him to stumble. He is barely able to catch himself. But he does. He must.

'what gives? I'm hardly hitting Mach three!' He pushes himself to go faster. further.

Until he's just too tired to go anymore. He can rest easy knowing they are far away from Arkham. Far away from Gotham all together.

He starts to decrease his speed.

Even though he's not going as fast as he remembers- knows- he can go, he still has to slow down just enough so that when he falls, Harley and Ivy don't sustain any damage.

So he pushes himself to just go a little further. Just a few more moments. Just enough time to slow down.

And when he drops down to just about thirty miles per hour, he drops Harley and Ivy. Each falls with a thud. Ivy grunts, still feeling a tiny bit of pain from the electricity.

Barry pushes himself to go just slightly further from where he dropped the girls. He falls- hard. Harley flinches at the sound.

He remains still, on his face. She crawls towards him and helps him flip over. She sighs with relief when he winces. 'he's alive.' Another sigh. This time it's not relief that washes over her as she thinks 'but faintly.'

Ivy makes her way towards Barry's limp body as well. Both kneeling beside him. Ivy on his right side, while Harley remains on his left.

Harley places a hand on his chest. Softly she asks "are you okay?"

Barry grunts as he opens his eyes. He squints, trying to focus his vision. He spots Harley. He forces himself to smile towards her. "I'll be just fine."

Ivy asks, "are you really the Flash?" Because she has to know. Needs to know.

Harley wanted to chastise her for asking at such an inappropriate time but doesn't. She doesn't, because she needs to know too.

Barry looks Ivy in the eyes. "I was." He looks away. He bitterly remarks, "then my nephew for some unknown reason told every one of those backstabbing bastards that I..." Sigh, "I didn't. I wouldn't."

Ivy asks, "so can you get us back to Gotham?"

Barry coughs uncontrollably. His stomach growls. He grips his gut and curls into a ball. Soft moaning.

Harley asks, "are you okay?"

Barry leans back and closes his eyes, "m'tired. Hungry."

Harley stands up. "Guess we can spend the night in a hotel wherever we are."

Barry says, "no money."

Both Ivy and Harley laugh, "cute," they say.

Harley looks around, "were in or by South Carolina."

Ivy stands up and asks, "how you know, girl?"

Harley points, "100 miles until Myrtle Beach."

Ivy looks around, "gas station. Wanna snag a car?" Ivy sits back down, leaning against Barry "I would but I don't..."

Harley chuckles, "rest up. Be back in 15."

Barry mumbles, "where Har- lay gone?"

Ivy positions herself to wrap one arm around his waist and place her head on his chest. "Rent a car."

Barry yawns, "how..."

Ivy places her pointer over his lips, "shhh."

Barry says, "m'kay."

Harley slams on the horn as she pulls up beside the two. She rolls the window down and shouts, "you two getting up?" She adds, "sleep in the car." Harley throws the car in park.

She shakes her head as she get's out of the car. "I mean really..."

She shakes Ivy who snuggles closer to Barry.

Harley says, "I am so not picking either of you up."

Harley stomps her foot, "really?" Then, "ugh. Fuck me!"

Harley starts by forcing Ivy on her back. She then wraps her arms around Ivy's Waist. Bending her knees she tries to lift Ivy up. After a few moments of trying, Harley falls on top of Ivy. She pushes herself off, laying beside her.

"Damn girl, how heavy are you?" Harley says, "felt like I was trying to pull a tree out of the... Oh right."

Harley jumps up. She rubs her hands together. "Okay girl, you got this." She sits on the ground by Barry's head. She lifts his head onto her lap. She grabs him from under the arms. She pushes herself upward, lifting Barry with her. Barry remains asleep, on his feet. He nearly tumbles to the ground but Harley catches him.

Holding him up, she breathes out, "where the hell is Mistah J when you actually need him?"

FLASHBACK

Ring ring ring. Ring ring ring. Ring... Woken up, Wally presses the talk button.

Half asleep, he asks, "yeah?"

"Hey, Baywatch."

"Artemis I'm sleeping."

She scoffs, "it's two pm dude. Get the hell up."

Wally says, "I'm not in the mood."

Artemis asks, "what's been up with you?"

Tears pricked his eyes, "I don't feel like talking about it."

Wally didn't remember even hanging up.

But the next time he's woken up is by Artemis Jumping on top of him. Nearly scaring him to death.

Still startled, Wally jumps backward. When he sees Artemis kneeling on his bed, giggling. He glares, still clutching his chest.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

Artemis says, "You're letting him win behaving like this."

Wally timidly askes, "what?"

Artemis bites her lip before continuing, "your um, Uncle you know... He... Didn't he?"

Wally asks, "how did you..."

Artemis says, "my dad never... But, he's not that high up, and sometimes I... with superiors or even if he like owed some loser money."

Wally asks, "why are you..."

Artemis says, "because, that freak is in jail right? But your the one locked up. You can't waste your life on someone else's mistakes."

Wally asks, "what are you trying to do here?"

Artemis screams, "help you!" She says, "if you keep this up, you won't even be able to be touched by a girl without thinking of that son of a bitch."

Wally glares, "he doesn't control my normal relationships!"

Artemis argues, "but he does because your letting..."

Wally pushes her backward on the bed. On top of Artemis, he kisses her. It happened to fast, Artemis didn't know what was happening until It was over.

Wally's eyes widen, "Artemis I'm so sorry, I-I-I..."

But she pushes him backward and kisses him back.

She pulls away, "it's okay."

Wally asks, "um, wanna..."

Artemis asks, "I'm up for anything."

Wally is pacing back and forth in front of Dick.

Dick snorts, "dude, relax. You got three months."

Wally says, "yeah, just three months. I can't believe it's been almost a year. I can't believe I have zero ideas of what to get Artemis!"

Dick shakes his head, "you'll figure it out, dude!"

Wally falls onto Dick's bed and whines, "be a better best friend and help me!"

Dick stands up, "let's go browse some jewelry stores across the country!"

Wally says, "dude. I can barely afford the jewelry at Walmart!"

Dick shakes his head, "why do you do it?" He snorts, "you know damn well I am not going to Walmart and letting you buy Artemis some cheap fake jewelry."

Wally hugs Dick, "You're too nice to your poor friends."

Dick says, "it's called paying it forward." Dick wraps an arm around Wally, "come on dude. We'll go to some hot spots out West, down south, and even oh ever been to New York City?"

Wally says, "uh no."

Dick's eyes gleam, "with your speed we can so make a day of it."

Wally let's out a laugh before picking Dick up, "where to first, dude?"

Barry slowly blinks awake. He looks around, everything is blurry. Still partially asleep until he hears Harley asks, "you feeling better?"

Barry struggles to sit up, "what...? Where are we?"

Harley giggles, "Myrtle Beach. I got us an ocean view." Barry stands up and wobbles towards the balcony!

Barry asks, "how... How you pay for...?"

Harley giggles, "with my good looks."

Ivy walks out of the bathroom, wearing a bathrobe and a towel on her head. "Oh, Flash is finally up?"

Barry says, "my names Barry." Then his stomach growls.

Harley asks, "oh right you need food."

Ivy says, "I feel like Japanese!"

Harley says, "I saw a Hibachi Grill on the way in."

Barry says, "a hibachi grill is going to be expensive."

Harley snorts, "will you let us worry about the money. Japnese good to you?"

Barry shrugs, "that's fine." Then, "I wanna shower next, first."

Ivy says, "I still gotta get dressed and ready anyway."

Harley says, "I'm gonna go buy us bathing suits. After we eat we can hit that beach."

Ivy says, "wanna get us real clothes? We look like inmates."

Harley gives her a thumbs up. "Oh right. Would explain those dirty looks when I was" air quotes "checking in!" End air quotes."

Barry's eyes widen. "Oh my gosh."

Harley asks, "what?"

Barry whispers, "I broke out of jail." Then shouts, "I broke out of jail."

Ivy says, "first, we" pointing to both herself and Harley "broke you out of jail. You were absolutely no help until Batman showed up." Then continues, "second, why don't you go out on that balcony and scream, hey Myrtle Beach, I'm an escaped convict traveling with two other escaped convicts."

Harley rolls her eyes, "be nice Ives."

Ivy looks at Harley and glares, "he's making it hard for me!" Then she looks back at Barry, "like really hard!"

Harley says, "be back in like 30 minutes."

Batman burst through Iris' home. Iris gasps, "Bruce, what are...?" Hal follows him through the door.

Batman quickly asks, "is Dick and Wally here?"

Iris says, "no. Why?"

Hal asks, "do you know where they are?"

Iris says, "Dick was taking Wally shopping for a gift for Artemis. I don't know exactly where they were going."

Batman says, "shit. They aren't answering their phones. And they could be anywhere."

Iris asks, "what is going on?"

Hal explains, "Iris, don't freak out, but Barry escaped."

Iris asks, "what?" Then, "how?"

Batman growls, "he had help from Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy."

Iris feels tears prick her eyes, "You're gonna find him. Right? Before he finds Wally?"

Hal nods, "we'll find him."

Batman declares, "he'll be back in Arkham before he knows it!" Batman pulls out a tracking device and then explains, "the collar injected him with a tracking chip. It should be activating shortly!"

Wally is looking through his pockets for his phone. "Dude, call my phone."

Dick looks through his pockets for his phone to only discover it's gone. "You know what, we must have left them at the dress shop in New York or that ring place in California."

Wally says, "New York because I remember taking pictures in Central Park."

Dick shrugs, "we'll get them later. There's this nice Jewlrer near the beach. We'll go pick something out and then hit the beach."

Wally says, "yeah okay. I have never been to Myrtle Beach before either."

Dick asks, "have you ever left Central City?"

Wally says, "I grew up in Keystone."

Dick glares.

Wally continues, "I've been places, but I never really got to enjoy anything. It's always been hero work taking me places." Then adds, "Hal took us to Disneyland A few years ago. Done that."

Dick rolls his eyes, "you gotta go to Orlando though. Disney World is ten times better."

Wally says "okay mister money bags, you'll take me there one day!"

Harley found Ivy a green spaghetti belly shirt that says Go Vegan. With Green jeans shorts. And sandals.

She found Barry a pair of blue jeans. And a Flash shirt. He holds the shirt up, "really?"

Harley shrugs, "thought it be cute. And like funny."

Ivy smirks, "oh it is."

And she then hands him a pair of Flash socks with red sneakers.

Barry smiles sarcastically, "oh you a comedian!"

Ivy continues to laugh, "I like it!"

Harley smirks, "just put it on!"

Barry rolls his eyes, "like I have much of a choice!"

Harley giggles.

She found herself a pink tank top and blue booty shorts with black sandals.

Barry asks, "you ever gonna take that thing off?" Referring to her headdress.

Harley says, "oh right." She slowly lifts it off her head, revealing her blonde hair."

Barry smirks, "your hair is beautiful."

Harley blushes, "you just saying that."

Barry says, "I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it."

Barry's stomach growls again.

"You two wanna fuck or go eat?"

Both Harley and Barry's face heat up. Each stumble with their words. "We. I'm. No. it's."

Ivy snorts, "okay, you two stay here, I'm gonna go eat."

Barry's stomach growls louder.

Harley grabs a hold of Barry's hand, "we coming, geez."

Dick places his debit card on the counter and orders, "two boogie boards please."

The girl behind the counter barely looks up from her phone as she snatches the card. Swipes it. Slaps it back down on the counter. She points towards the boogie board, "go grab two from over there."

Dick says, "thank you."

"We close at 6. If they are late or lost your card will be charged."

Dick says, "no problem! Have a nice day!"

Dick pulls Wally towards the door. "Come on."

Wally snorts, "I'm coming."

Dick sticks his tongue out, "not fast enough."

Harley returns from the ocean, "don't you two wanna go in?"

Ivy says, "no," at the same time that Barry admits, "not really."

Harley plops down beside ivy, "you two are no fun."

Barry asks, "when you two wanna head back to Gotham?"

Ivy says, "it's 60 degrees in Gotham and 88 degrees here, what you think?"

Harley says, "come on. Let's go swimming."

Ivy yawns, "I'll go get us some ice cream. BRB."

Barry sighs and leans back when he sees...

He whispers, "no way."

He watches Wally and Dick ride the wave in. Both laughing loudly. Barry sits there. Just watching. Mouth hung open.

It feels like an eternity before Wally notices Barry watching them.

Barry and Wally lock eyes.

Wally feels helpless. Barry feels hopeful.

Harley tries to get Barry's attention, but Barry is focused on Wally.

Barry's eyes glisten, 'he's here.' Barry rubs his eyes, 'that's him.' But when he reopens his eyes he notices Wally running away, leaving dick confused. Dick glances over and gasps when he sees Barry. Barry takes off after Wally, whose not running that fast, 'thank god.'

Wally knows, 'Can't go fast.' The beech is packed and he is. Just. Wally.

Wally thinks bitterly, 'not like he couldn't catch up.'

Not like Wally would know that Barry probably couldn't catch up right now.

Ivy approaches Harley with three ice cream cones. She looks around, "where the hell did quick stuff go?"

Harley grabs Ivy's wrist, "come on."

Ivy drops the three cones and follows Ivy.

As Harley runs past Dick, she pushes him and shouts, "move brat."

Ivy catches him before he falls with a vine. She quickly wraps the vine back around her wrist before anyone notices. She then scolds, "how about we not assault children today," as she chases Harley.

Not noticing Dick starts to run after them.

Then Ivy asks, "what are we running for anyway?"

Harley shrugs, "don't know. Barry took off. Were chasing him."

Ivy questions, "were running after the fastest man alive?"

Harley snorts, "he's not going that fast." She points towards Barry's back.

Ivy squints to see that Barry is indeed running at a mortal pace. But at the same time, "he's still running pretty damn fast."

Harley starts to laugh, "that just causes his legs are longer than our legs."

But then they each fall to the ground. Harley looks up and sees, "your that brat I knocked out my way."

Dick sticks his tongue out at them, "go back to Arkham!"

Harley pushes herself up, "why you little..."

But Dick kicks her in the face, swiftly. He Cuffs both Harley and Ivy together to a cemented umbrella.

Dick smirks, "or stick around the beach," and he takes off towards the direction Barry and Wally ran in.

Ivy glares, "what's a fucking kid doing with real handcuffs?"

Harley places a hand on her hip, "see what happens when you play good guy."

Ivy snarls, "Imma kill that smug little brat."

She's about to use the vine bracelet she was wearing when she noticed, "he took my plant."

Harley smirks, "the kid's good. Dead when I catch him, but good."

Ivy looks towards the ocean, "mind if I use seaweed?"

Harley says "aren't we trying to stay undercover."

Ivy says, "I think the kitty cat was thrown out of the bag." Then shrugs "and if it weren't it, it will be. And we can't be sitting ducks when the Justice League shows up."

Harley asks, "think the Justice League is coming?"

Ivy says, "no doubt in my mind."

Barry calls out, "Wally stop."

Wally shouts back, "Leave me alone."

Barry yells, "I just want to talk."

Barry looks back slightly and sees Dick following them. Barry sighs. He stops running.

He turns around and catches Dick, who shouts, "let go of me."

Wally stops in his tracks and turns around.

Once more Barry and Wally lock eyes.

Wally walks toward Barry. Not too close. But close enough to ask, "where do you want to talk?"

Barry looks around. Biting his lip, he tries to find a secluded area. "Let's sneak into that broken ride over there."

Wally nods, "okay. But let go of Dick."

Barry shakes his head, "no. I'm sick of chasing you."

Wally cries, "I won't run, just let him go."

Barry sighs and releases his grip on Dicks wrist.

Dick pulls his hand back and runs to stand next to Wally.

Barry says, "okay, let's go."

Wally holds his hand out for Dick to hold. Dick eagerly accepts. Wally's heart pounds against his chest.

Both boys turn around and start making their way to the broken, closed ride on the boardwalk. Barry follows closely.

Dick whispers, "I won't let him hurt you."

Wally whispers back, "just let him do whatever he wants."

Dick gasps, "no."

Wally says, "I don't want him to hurt you."

Barry tries to hear what they are saying, but they are speaking too low. He can only catch the glimpse of what they are saying. He has to take a deep breath to control his anger.

When no one is looking their way, Wally and Dick slip inside the ride. Barry waits a couple of minutes, before doing the same.

Wally asks, "well?"

Barry says, "you know you lied. You know I never laid a hand on you. You owe me an explanation."

Wally feels like crying. "Why can't you just admit what you've done."

Barry shouts, "Wally I never..."

Wally interrupts, "this isn't fair."

Barry agrees, "your right. It isn't fair. It's not fair that you lied."

Wally glares, "You're the one lying."

Barry snaps, "just stop."

Wally gasps, throwing his hands up in front of his face.

Dick scolds himself for hiding behind Wally. He's about to move in front of Wally, but Wally stops him.

Barry runs his fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry I yelled." Barry waits for Wally to relax before saying, "but you owe me an explanation." Then asks, "just tell me why you lied."

Wally glares, "ask it right. Ask why I told on you."

Barry looks at Dick and then back at Wally. "Okay. I'll play along. Why did you tell on me?"

Wally relaxes his gaze.

Barry notes the few teardrops fall.

Wally cries, "because you really hurt me."

Barry remains silent, waiting for Wally to continue.

"I thought you were going to kill me. If you never hurt me like you did, I wouldn't have said anything. I would have stayed quiet just praying for you to stop."

Barry starts, "I never..."

But he's interrupted by a familiar voice, "Barry you in here?"

Barry calls out, "over here Harley."

When Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy enter, Wally gasps.

"Harley as in Harley Quinn?"

Barry nods.

Then Wally says, "and that's Poison Ivy."

Barry nods again, "yeah."

Wally asks, "what are you doing with these villains?"

Barry shrugs, "they helped me. Believed me."

Harley asks, "is this?"

Barry says, "the lying little fucker, yeah."

Wally glares, "I didn't lie."

Barry shouts, "I never touched you. You fucking know that too."

Harley says, "Hey we should probably get out of here." She places a hand on his shoulder.

But he shrugs her off, "no." Then turns back to Wally, "he has to admit he lied, first." Then begs, "or the very least tell me why. I deserve to know why."

Ivy asks, "he's clearly not giving you what you want. And we gotta get out of here before the league finds us. Unless you want to go back to Arkham?"

Barry shakes his head, "I'm not going to back to Arkham. I already said that."

Harley says, "okay, but first."

Ivy grabs Dick by the ankle with her vines and tosses him into a wall.

Barry asks, "what the hell are you doing?"

Ivy explains, "the little piece of shit cuffed us to an umbrella."

Barry shakes his head, "get over it."

Barry runs towards Dick to help him up. Kneeling beside him, Barry asks, "you okay Dick?"

Dick looks Barry in the eyes before nodding, still unsure of what to think.

Barry stands up and offers his hand.

Dick tentatively accepts.

Ivy staring at Barry, curiously.

Barry asks, "what?"

He then notices Harley taken notice too.

again he asks, "seriously, what?"

Ivy blurts out, "dude, your neck is glowing red."

Barry slaps a hand over his neck, asking "what?"

Barry bends over to view his reflection in a loose piece of glass. He gasps at the sight. He uses his pointer finger and middle finger to feel the skin where the glowing his coming from.

He growls, "son of a bitch."

Harley asks, "what is it?"

Barry snarls, "that damn inhibitor injected me with a tracking chip." Then realizes, "and it's glowing which means..."

Barry sees the familiar glow from Green Lantern's ring, "yup."

Harley and Ivy's eyes widen when they see green surround them.

Harley let's out a small yelp.

Barry calls out "Harley?"

Green Lantern emerges, "she's going back to Arkham and so are you."

Barry growls, "no! No, I'm not!"

Dick is excited when he sees Batman, "Batman," he calls out. Then he adds, "I'm sorry."

Batman says, "not your fault Dick." Then he looks at Wally, "or yours."

Wally nods slowly, trying to understand.

Barry rolls his eyes. "Let Harley and Ivy out."

Batman says, "that is not happening. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy will return to Arkham. You will be joining them." Batman faces the orb that Green Lantern had made.

Green Lantern opens a small opening to allow Batman to go inside.

Once inside, Batman wastes no time in cuffing the two girls.

Once cuffed, Green Lantern drops the orb.

Green Lantern points his ring at Barry, "make this easy on all of us."

Barry growls, "go fuck yourself Hal! I'm not going back to Arkham!" Electricity dances around Barry.

Green Lantern warns, "Barry!"

Barry shouts, "no, face it. You only got me that first time because I would have never expected Wally to lie. I would have never expected any of that! I'm too fast for you assholes to get me again." Barry looks into Harley's eyes and his gaze softens, "so I'll demand again. Let them go!"

Batman agrees, "you're right. You're fast. Too fast. You can run out of the door, but these two will be returned to Arkham!"

Barry shouts, "I'm not leaving without them!"

Harley gasps, slapping her hand over her mouth. Tears prick the corner of each eye. 'He doesn't want to leave me! Us! Should I tell him to just go?'

Batman says, "then you are not leaving!"

Barry snarls, "let them go."

Batman ignores him, "hold your hands out. You're under arrest."

Barry shakes his head 'no.' "Listen, I'll leave that little liar along, but I'm not- I can't go back to Arkham!"

Green Lantern marches forward and grabs Barry's collar, "I'm so tired of you calling Wally a Liar." He gets louder, "I saw every sick thing you did to him! I saw it it!"

Barry slaps Green Lantern's hands away. "I did nothing!"

He speeds up, making it look like he was heading for Harley and Ivy. Green Lantern throws up an orb, blocking Barry from snatching them. But Barry grabs Dick instead.

Batman says, "get your sick hands off of him!"

Barry growls, "release Harley and Ivy!"

Batman doesn't say anything.

Barry grips his forearm around Dick slightly harder. He makes a gun with his right hand and holds his fingers against Dick's skull. He warns, "I swear I will mangle his fucking brains."

Wally gasps, "no."

Barry turns slightly towards Wally, "you best shut the fuck up because if I have to kill Dick it's your fault. You lied and Dick dies!" Barry turns back to Batman.

Batman gambles, "you won't kill Dick."

Barry shouts, "you think so? I'm already sentenced to life. Add fucking murder, I don't care anymore. I don't care. I lost everything because that little (using his head to motion towards Wally) piece of shit lied. You want the three of us in Arkham, Dick has to die first."

Dick cries, "Ba-Batman. I-I..." Shaking his head.

Batman says, "Dick, it's going to be okay." He orders, "Release them!"

Green Lantern questions, "seriously?"

Batman nods, "let them go, Lantern."

Green Lantern shrugs. With a sigh, he drops his orb. Batman unlocks the hand cuffs.

Barry orders, "both of you come here."

Harley and Ivy run towards Barry.

Ivy thanks, "thank you for not leaving."

Barry nods, "each of you grab my arms."

Ivy on his left and Harley on his right!

Batman reminds, "release Dick!"

Barry shakes his head. "I still have to remove this tracker. Safer if you don't try to find me again. I'll return Dick when I'm done."

Batman steps forward, "wait..."

But Barry was gone. And so was Harley Quin and Poison Ivy. And so was Dick!

Batman mumbles, "fuck."

Wally cries, "I'm sorry. I-"

Batman approaches Wally, "it's not your fault." Then offers Wally a hug, which he happily accepts. "Let's get him home Hal."

Wally sniffles, "what about Dick?" Tears streaming down his face. "Uncle Barry was going to..."

Batman hushes Wally. "I doubt he had it in him." He sighs, "I'm more worried about him touching Dick like he had with you."

Green Lantern says, "you didn't see it, Bats. He was awful. Cruel. Vicious."

Wally cries harder.

Batman says, "we'll get him back. Barry just wanted to remove the tracker. That's all!"

Green Lantern Grumbles, "yeah, it's just coincidence that his hostage happens to be a little boy."

Batman growls, "I want to believe that!" He calms down with a deep breath, "let's get Wally home and come up with a plan to re-apprehend Barry."

Barry found an abandoned cabin deep in some forest in (hopefully still in) the United States. Barry placed Dick on the floor. Dick ran to the corner of the room with his back against the wall. Dick slowly falls down, now sitting.

Harley giggles, "that was more fun the second time."

Ivy says, "that was more nauseating the second time."

Barry asks, "you guys hungry?"

Harley says, "I could eat."

Ivy then says, "after I puke I will be."

Barry looks over at Dick and sighs. Barry slowly approaches Dick. But as he gets closer Dick pushes himself tighter against the wall.

Dick shouts, "stay away from me."

Barry felt like crying. "Dick, it's me."

Dick cries, "you were gonna kill me!"

Barry shakes his head, "Dick I was never going to hurt you. I was bluffing."

Barry takes another step closer, but Dick yells "no. Stay away. I'm warning you!"

Barry says, "I'll go get us some food."

Dick glares, "don't bother. I'm not eating anything you criminals feed me!"

Barry says, "we're not going to drug you. I promise I was never going to hurt you. I promise I won't hurt you and I won't let them hurt you."

Dick folds his arms over his knees. He doesn't say anything.

Barry sighs. He turns towards Harley and Ivy, "I'll go get us some pizza."

Harley smiles, "yum."

Barry asks, "you guys have any money?"

Both Harley and Ivy burst out laughing. But then Ivy notices Barry's glare.

Ivy snarks, "oh, he was serious." She turns to Harley, "he still thinks we buy things." Then adds, "like with money."

Harley snorts, "I know. It's cute ain't it."

Barry moans, "I don't steal."

Harley shakes her head, "shame really. With your power, no one would even know you were there." She strutted towards the door, "but it's okay. I'll go steal some pizza. BRB!"

Barry looks towards Ivy, "wanna cut this thing out of my neck?"

Ivy shrugs, "sure, as long as you agree not to sue me if I kill you."

Barry licks his lips, annoyed. "Think your safe."

Harley feeling Barry's stitches, whistles "damn girl, you did awesomely."

Ivy smirks, "I know."

Barry places two slices of Chicago's famous deep-dish pizza on a plate.

Harley asks, "what are you doing?"

Ivy says, "that kid doesn't want to eat."

Barry explains, "I just want to talk to him."

Barry heart pounds against his chest as he makes his way toward to bedroom Dick is locked in.

Barry knocks on the door with his free hand. No answer. Barry enters.

Dick snarks, "you cuffed me to the bed." He jingles his cuffed hand. "Why knock?"

Barry explains, "that was Harley's idea."

Dick glares, "and you listened?"

Barry says, "well maybe if you didn't try to run away every couple of minutes."

A few tears roll down Dick's cheek. "Sorry, didn't feel like waiting around to get molested."

Barry feels like he's bee stabbed. "Dick, I never did those awful things Wally says I did."

Dick rolls his eyes, "why would Wally make it up?"`

Barry shrugs, "wish I knew. Really wish I knew." Throat becoming dry. "But I never would have. Done. That!"

Dick glares, "You're just trying to trick me because you think I'm just some dumb kid."

Barry begs, "Dick look at me."

Dick's gaze remains fixated on the floor.

Barry begs again, "Dick. Please."

Dick slowly lifts his head. His gaze softens when he sees Barry crying.

Barry says, "I never touched Wally." He sniffles, whipping his nose and eyes with his sleeve. "And Dick, I swear I never was planning on hurting you."

Dick says, "I want to believe you."

Barry says, "believe me then. Because I... It's not fair. He stole my life. My friends. And my wife."

Dick says, "Wally is my best friend."

Barry nods, "I know."

Dick admits, "I don't want to call him a liar."

Barry says, "then don't." Barry takes a deep breath. "Don't say it like that. I won't even be mad if he just comes clean. I don't even care why anymore."

Dick bites his lip, "you really didn't, like...?"

Barry whispers, "no!" Louder, "I wouldn't have." Even louder, "especially not to Wally." Voice lowers as he says "I would have never hurt Wally!" Sob! "Ever."

Dick asks, "and you won't get mad at him?"

Barry shakes his head vigorously, "no." Deep breath, "Dick I swear I won't be mad as long as he tells the truth. As long as tells everyone that I never... Please Dick."

Dick asks, "would Wally be in trouble?"

Barry questions, "trouble?"

Dick clarifies, "in trouble for lying?"

Barry admits, "I won't let that happen. You let him know that! He won't be in any trouble. He just has to admit he lied."

Dick asks, "you promise."

Barry nods, "I promise."

Dick offers, "when you bring me back, I'll try and talk to him!" Dick mumbles, "I guess."

Barry ecstatic hugs Dick. Dick tenses up but quickly relaxes into Barry's hold.

Barry says, "thank you. Even if you can't get him to tell the truth, I appreciate you trying."

Dick says, "if you really didn't do anything, it's only fair."

Hope these nearly 6,000 words were worth the wait. The next chapter will be pretty short, but the chapter after that will be pretty fun and much longer!
