The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

They have been traveling for the last several days now. And so far within that time, there was no sign of these lifeforms; Frieza claimed to have sensed when they first got there. It's like they completely disappeared. Angel can tell his frustrations been mounting since. These last couple days, she can hardly get two words out. Without him biting her head off that is. She can't help but feel he blames her for all these misgivings.

Because of her, Frieza lost his ship along with many of his better warriors. Including his two best subordinates, Berryblue and Kikono. Out of all the loses, those were the ones that mattered. Those two have been around in his force since he was a child. And before that, were apart of his Father's Force. That made them the loyalist of his subjects. Berryblue was also his caregiver and teacher in many ways. When his father left him behind to do some dealings. The tiny blue alien woman never left young Frieza's side.

They spent majority of their journey flying. Only stopping to eat and sleep. The sleeping she fought with him about a few times. Apparently, his Lordship doesn't require nearly as much sleep as Angel. So whenever she got tired and told him to stop. He'd get annoyed and argue with her. Even going as far as threatening her. Of course, Angel called him out on bullshit. Because she knew he needed her as much as she needed him.

Thankfully, obtaining food was not that much of a challenge. At first, Angel was skeptical when Frieza blasted and killed some animal that closely resembled something that looked like a cross between a fox and a deer. Something the young woman never thought possible. In the end, she did end up eating it. It was either take a risk or slowly starve to death. The dense foliage also had plenty of lakes, rivers, and waterfalls to get water.

Angel so badly wanted to bathe during the last few stops. But Lord Stick Up His Ass would bitch at her and say they don't have any time for such luxuries. Frieza seemed pretty determined to find other inhabitants of this world. Perhaps he was putting a lot of reliability in these inhabitants to know a way off this planet. She thought he may have been mistaken when he believed he sensed others. Well, it was a bad idea to mention that to him. She swears he has some variation of PMS. Because even hinting that he may have been wrong and you would've thought she walked up to him and spat right in his eye.

"I know what I sensed. There are others here. We just need to find them. Energies just don't disappear out of thin air. They must've moved on or were much further away then we thought. After all, we're still uncertain how large and vast this planet really is." He informed her the other morning.

Angel didn't quite know what to say to that. Perhaps there were people here. But like he said, who knows how big this world truly is. They could all be on the other side of the planet for all they know. And this is all they have going for them. Neither one has thought up another plan of leaving this place. It was really starting to frustrate her as well. The more time she spent with the tyrant. The more unwelcomed and unpleasant his company became.

They have been flying now for the last few hours. And judging by the position of the sun in the sky. Or shall we say suns, since there is more than one. It looks to be a little past noon. You would think having at least two suns would be pretty neat. But it actually was a pain. Mainly because it made the nights shorter than your average night. Like in most places at home that see an average of eight hours or more, pending on the time of year. The nights on this world seem to only stretch to around six hours of nighttime.

Though many could function on six hours of sleep. Angel was not one of them. She loved her sleep. And if she didn't get her eight hours in, she'd turn into what her brother like to call a 'Zombie Bitch from Hell'. Frieza saw it firsthand, after their first night here. He gave her a swift kick to the back to wake her the next morning. She got up and gave him a swift uppercut. Then called him every name in the book.

Angel's stomach started to rumble. She wanted to stop briefly and grab something for lunch. When she looked down, she noticed they were coming up on a clearing. A bright green pasture, with a couple different herds of animals grazing there. One of the herds; consisted of that strange deer/fox hybrid like animal. This would be a rather easy and quick hunt with the animals, right there in the opening.

She looked to Frieza who was a couple paces ahead of her.

"Hey, let's stop down there and get some more food. It will be quick and easy. The animals are right down there." Angel ended, while pointing down at the fairly large herds.

Frieza grumbled his reluctance. It was starting to aggravate him with how much sustenance she needed. He and his race could go days without food if they had to. Because of this, he wasn't use to frequent stops like the ones they have been having. But he knows if he says, 'No' to her again than she will just ream him out. Just like she'd done previously, when she didn't get enough food or sleep. The persistent woman wouldn't shut up until he finally gave in.

"Fine, but hurry up!" He shouted back.

Angel nodded and they descended lower. Until they were only a few feet above the oncoming herds. She still felt bad on having to shoot any animals. After all, she devoted her life to protecting them. But this was serious, it was either let your morals take over you completely and starve. Or bite the bullet and eat to survive. She obviously went with the latter.

She'd zero in on an individual that looked old or sickly and then hurl a small energy blast at it. Thankfully, the hits killed them instantly. Her presence startled some of them and they began to run. It was then, she noticed one of them lagging behind and appeared to have a limp. Angel focused a small amount of energy in her hand and shot forth at the animal who was only a couple paces in front of her.

She got it and it dropped like a lead weight. Angel landed by the fallen animal. She can clearly see now that the limp was from a broken bone in the leg. The animal was most likely in a lot of pain from such an injury. Frieza landed a few feet away from her.

"At least your getting better with your aim. It was downright dreadful a few days ago. You hit everything but the target." He said, with some laughter in his voice.

Angel's face heated up in embarrassment and anger. She remembered. He sat on a nearby boulder laughing his ass off. Each time she missed, he teased her for nearly a good half hour afterwards. Asking her how she could've missed something that was so close. During the time she was shooting off ki blasts, he taunted her between laughs saying things like, 'careful you almost missed one'. By that; Frieza meant that she nearly decimated a good portion of the woods in front of her, namely many trees.

At one point, she was contemplating making him the next target. Though she either would've missed him too or he would've just batted her blast away like a pesky bug. Safe to say, since this alliance they simply been at each other's throats. Which really comes to no surprise. Look who your stuck with after all. She was beginning to see why Vegeta hated the little prick so much.

"Yeah, looks like I didn't need practice on your big thick head after all." She said sarcastically.

He snorted, then made a small fire on the ground by the dead animal. As Frieza approached it, Angel quickly turned around and covered her ears. He surprised her last time when he tore into an animal with his bare hands. It was quite a horrific and gruesome sight. And the nasty squishing sounds that came with the blood and entrails spilling out, made her gag. It was like watching a scene from a horror movie, like 'SAW'.

The tyrant made quick work of ripping it apart. Then he started frying parts over the fire, cooking it. He cleared his throat gaining her attention. She turned and barely caught the cooked limb he tossed to her. Then noticed he took some for himself and began eating too. This was maybe the second time she saw him eat since they been here.

And of course, he ate all proper, just like the rest of his mannerisms. It's odd how he can appear so regal and polite, yet be so cruel and brutal art the same time. But then Angel remembered, that's how a lot of sociopaths are. Highly intelligent, calculating, manipulative, and oddly polite. That's part of what made them so dangerous. They hide the dark sides of themselves so well, until they decide when to bring it out.

"You think the reason why we haven't found anyone yet; is because they maybe possibly hiding? Like for instance, can going underground block or hide their ki signatures?" Angel asked Frieza as they ate.

He snorts at such an ignorant question. "No, unless someone is skilled at hiding their ki, the location of the person or people doesn't matter. They could be behind several walls of thick metal and it still wouldn't conceal their battle power."

"But if they had a very low battle power, it would be hard to detect them right?" She asked.

"Yes, this is true. But in this case, it is not. If I could sense multiple ki signatures at a distant like that. Then they must be fairly high and not miniscule." He informed her.

Angel gazed off ahead in the distance.

"Wonder how they can suddenly disappear like that then. The only other explanation is, that maybe they do know how to hide or conceal their ki signature. And if that's the case, it should be fun trying to find them. Probably take longer too. I also hate to say it. But it kind of feels like we are on a wild goose chase here." She finally told him.

"We'll find them." He said with finality, while cutting her off.

Though as he says that. She can't help but feel he maybe wrong in his assumption. But she didn't feel like arguing with him right now. So, in the meantime; she will just have to follow his lead. Even if she didn't agree with anything he suggested so far. Oh well, at least they were able to get out two sentences each. Without it turning into a screaming match or a fight. A fight he always won and she ended up with more cuts, gashes and bruises.

Angel was broken out of her train of thought when he spoke up again.

"What's that horrible smell?" He asked while wrinkling his nose in disgust.

She arched an eyebrow. "Dead Animal."

Frieza shook his head. "No, this odor smells like a cross between garbage and bad B.O."

His eyes widened slightly, when he realized where the smell was coming from. Angel was suddenly wondering why he was looking at her funny.

"It's you, damn woman, you smell atrocious. Have you been rolling around in dead animal scat or something behind my back?" He said, incredulous.

At first, the young woman gave him a dirty look. Until a smirk made it's way to her face.

"Why whatever do you mean? I smell like roses." Angel said, with a shit eating grin.

Frieza waved a hand in front of his face. As if to fan away the nauseating smell permeating from the young woman standing across from him.

"If that's what you think. Then I'd be questioning your judgement and sanity right now. Because you don't smell like any flower anywhere in the known universe...or Hell for that manner. Spent enough time down there to know what flowers smell like." He said.

Angel snickered a little at that, causing him to send a glare her way.

"Well, I wouldn't be smelling like a dead skunk's ass if you'd just listen to me and let me bathe. Maybe you don't get B.O. like the rest of us. But we shower frequently for this very reason. So next body of water we see, I'm stopping for a dip." She paused and smirked. "Unless you want me to fly right in front of you. So that my lovely essence is wafting back in your face." She says sweetly.

Frieza's eye twitched at the nice ultimatum she gave him.

"Fine." He said, through clenched teeth.

She smiled in triumph, which only deepened his scowl. Soon her little victory didn't last long and he started with her yet again.

"You know, we probably would've found these elusive beings sooner. If we didn't have to stop every so often so you can eat and sleep." He quipped.

Angel rolled her eyes. "Trust me, I would be a hell of a lot worse than this if we didn't stop. Then I'd really be driving you more crazy than you already are."

"Just shut up and finish so we can leave." Frieza snapped, losing his patience with her for the umpteenth time since their arrival.

"I am almost done. But you just keep delaying me with all your complaining. So in retrospect, your the one that needs to 'Shut Up'." She shot back.

He clenched his fists, trying to resist the urge to strangle the annoying woman. Frieza just needed to keep reminding himself that he needed her. And that's the part that made it the most challenging. If Angel were any other annoying foe, he would've killed her a long time ago. It would've saved him time and headaches. He was starting to wonder if her kind was always this annoying or just her.

Yep, still bitching like an old married couple. Sorry if this story is dragging a bit. But this isn't some story where Frieza falls head over heals for the girl right away. He's very complex and stubborn. But in the mean time while they are trying to build up a relationship during this journey. There will be more fights and surprises. And who knows...maybe a naughty scene in between ;) Until Next Time ;)
