The girls had been at the bar for a couple hours now. They were all having a really good time. There was Erin, Hailey, Kim from the district Gabby and Sylvie from Fire house 51 and also Natalie from Med. They weren't too drunk but definately were in their way.
"Okay I think it might be time we do some shots, who's with me?" Erin said smiling as she got up from her seat.
"Hell yes, I will help you get some. Be right back ladies," Hailey said getting up to follow Erin.
Erin and Hailey walked up to the bar while the others stayed and chatted. It was a really busy
typical friday night on the town. It was still early but there was still enough people to have to wait a fair while at the bar.
"Oh this is just ridiculous," Hailey rolled her eyes, frustrated, "Hey you, can we get some service!" She yelled at the guy up the other end of the bar.
"Oh sorry pretty lady, what can i get you fine looking woman?" The bartender asked as he looked both Erin and Hailey up, in a creepy way.
Erin cleared her throat, getting his attention, "Okay...we will get 6 tequila slammers please."
"Oh there's more of you," he started to stare past them looking towards the booth of their friends.
"Hey mister, the drinks!" Hailey snapping her fingers in his face, "I dont think they are going to pour themselves."
He went off to go grab the drinks then handed them a tray, "There you go ladies, if you feel like partying later come find me, i'd be willing to play." He winked at them.
Hailey laughed walking away after she yelled out, "Yeh not a chance mate."
They walked back over to the others laughing, who did that guy think he was? Just another typical sleeve bag. Erin's phone started going off as they got to the booth.
"Okay, so the boys are apparently going to Trix, how about we do these shots, finish our drinks then catch up with them? That guy at the bar is starting to creep me out anyway." As she turned around to glance at him he was still staring.
"Yeh this place is a little over kill anyway, a change of scene might be nice." Kim said.
Everyone done the shots, finished off their drinks and started getting up to walk out, some of them stumbling a little bit. Trix was about a half hour walk from where they were so they decided it might be an idea to call an uber. Fifteen minutes in a taxi and they finally met up with the boys out the front, it was Jay, Ruzek, Atwater from the district, Serveride, Matt and Joe from Firehouse 51 and Jays brother Will. It was like they hadn't even been drinking they could definately handle their liquor a lot better then the woman.
"Well hey ladies, how we all feeling ready to party?" Ruzek said as they waited to go in.
"Hell yeah we are, you would have been so bored without us, not a party without the woman." Hailey joked.
"Oh yeh of course, it wasn't the same," Atwater joked sarcastically.
They all lined up, luckily Atwater had done security here so they didn't have to pay nor wait in the line. An hour later and it started to creep into the morning. Slowly everyone starting going home. Joe left early, he had to travel the next day for some work training. Then not long after Severide and Sylvie snuck off together thinking no one would notice but everyone bought it up.
"Well well thats interesting," Ruzek laughed.
"Oh well good on them," Gabby said laughing with the others.
Erin started stumbling and Jay caught her, she could usually handle her alcohol but for some reason it was really hitting her. "Okay you, i think we oughta get you home." Jay chuckled trying to hold Erin up straight.
Erin slowly picked herself up, "Okay dectective sir, but first i need to use the ladies."
Jay laughed he had never seen her like this before, "Okay, but get Hailey or Kim to go with you because I don't think you'd be able to walk that far."
"I have to go so i will go with her, we'll be fine." Gabby said as she slung Erin's arm over her shoulder.
Gabby walked Erin to the toilet, "Okay you go in, then I will go. I will wait outside for you."
...
Back with the others, Jay turned to Matt "Hey, somethings off. I mean we are all pretty buzzed, the girls obviously more but Erin can barely walk." Jay was becoming paranoid, he'd never seen Erin like this and all the other girls seemed pretty fine.
Matt looked confused at Jays comment, "Yeh actually your not wrong, they have been gone for like ten minutes now, we better go get them." Jay nodded as they got up.
"Uh Erin," Gabby kept calling Erins name as she walked into the bathroom. She wasn't there and the bathroom window was open. Suddenly Jay and Matt walked up to her. "Guys I can't find Erin anywhere!" Gabby said with a worried face. "And the window in there is wide open, something's off."
...
It was half hour later, still no sign of Erin. Atwater rang Voight so he was there with the rest of them. He told everyone that wasn't in the unit to go home. He kept pacing "Okay explain to me how majority of my unit is out partying, getting drunk and a detective goes missing!"
"Sarge she went to the toilet with Gabby and that was the last I saw of her, I do have to say she was a little drunk but i thought she would be fine. It's not like she went by herself." Jay said bluntly.
"I dont care how but freshen yourselves up and get to the district. Now! We have a Chicago police officer missing!" Voight said angrily as he stormed off.
Luckily, Jay hadn't been drinking much as he planned to drive home. Everyone else had headed home to have a quick cold shower to sober themselves up. No one was too bad, but even if they were they were going to pull themselves together. This was Erin.
