Stan*
After cleaning up, getting dressed in some heavy clothing and making sure the door is locked I head out to Kyle's house. I offered to pick up Cartman but he told me in quote, "I don't want to ride in that dumb ass hunky dory subaru you got." So I proceeded by myself. I turn on some music but can't really hear it because my thoughts are too loud. Mrs. Broflovki's food, seeing Kyle. It's got my mind racing. I wonder how much he's changed. Have I changed at all? Whatever it is, I know it's gonna be awesome to see him again. I'm driving slower since the snow piled up. It's either that or my nerves. I pull up a house away from Kyle's place. I want to surprise him. I texted Cartman to do the same, and once I got a text back of him complaining but initially agreeing, I step out of my car and walk to the front door. I don't knock anymore. We're all past that phase, and I take my shoes off near the door. It's wet from the snow melting from the other shoes and I chuckle. I doubt Kyle has to deal with this problem. I greet Mrs. and Mr. Broflovski and we talk about little things about my college. Then they tell me Ike is in his room so I head over there. I knock on the door, gotta respect the little guys privacy. He's almost at that age. After I hear a "Yeah?" call from behind the door I open it. I'm greeted with a huge smile.
"Hey, Stan." Ike was sitting on his bed with a notebook in his lap and his school binder next time him.
"Damn kiddo, still doing homework?"
Ike sighed and shook his head.
"This English teacher we have, Mrs. Goodman, gave me an extra assignment because I "misspoke in class." She's such a bitch."
I laugh at him and come over to tussle his hair.
"That's my little dude. Just wait until college, Ike. You'll find a lot more bitches there." He gave me a forced smile.
"Can't wait."
"Alright what do you have to do? I'll help you with it." I sit next to him on the bed with our backs propped up on the wall.
"She told me to wrote an 1,000 word essay on the importance of "How to kill a Mockingbird. I haven't even read the book! How's she expect me to do this?"
"Oh I got you kid. I've read the book three times and seen the play. It's a good, morally impactful story. You should read it. I'll let you borrow the book."
Ike just looks at me blankly.
"Nerd..." He mumbles.
"What was that, Ike? What was that? Mr. Trouble maker." I start to tickle him under his arms and he wails out a screaming laughter.
"What was that?!" I continue to tickle him and Ike thrashers around while he laughs, knocking his notebook down and trying to push my hand away.
"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry! Just stop and help me with this thing!" I laugh with him and stop. Ike grabs his notebook and I look at what he's got so far, and that's just the title. It reads, "The significance of How to kill a Mockingbird." I look at Ike and laugh again. He sighs in defeat.
"Okay, it's a good start, but you really want a title that reals her in. Ike, we're gonna make this the best damn essay the bitch has ever read."
Ike clenches his fist with new found hope.
"Hell yeah, Stan! Thanks!"
While I explain the story to Ike so he can get a grasp of what he's writing, he looks more disgusted the longer I go on.
"That's awful! Why would they do that to Tom?"
"Cause they're ignorant bitches and like to hurt people who're different. You can't really explain people mind's who're like that, Ike."
"They're way worse than Mrs. Goodman."
"Way worse, kiddo. Alright let's start this thing."
After we finish a couple paragraphs of the rough draft, which I'm quite proud of and Ike came up with most of the ideas too, Cartman swings the door open.
"What is this? A gay meeting? Don't mind me, I'll leave y'all to it." As he turns around. Ike throws a pillow at him.
"Ow!" Cartman rubs his butt, where the pillow hit.
"Don't be a jackass, that didn't hurt." I roll my eyes at Ike and he laughs.
"Alright whatever, what are you guys doing?"
"An essay about the importance of How to kill a Mockingbird." Ike chimes up. It seems like he's into the essay now, which makes me happy. He should know about these things.
Cartman walks into the room and sits in the rolly chair.
"Whatever, Nerds."
I raise my eyebrow up at Ike and he looks back at me.
"Go get him, Ike."
"What did you just say?!" Ike yells and jumps off the bed to chase Cartman .
"Woah little dude! You guys are! Don't blame me for it!" Cartman flies out of the rolly chair and Ike chases him around the room. I bust out laughing watching his big ass run away from a little kid. After about two minutes Cartman is already out of breath and Ike catches him and starts pounding punches into his gut.
"Okay... okay I take it back, man. Stop hitting me, You're making me jiggle. My fat's just gonna bounce back and hit you in the face. You're only hurting yourself."
Both Ike and I laugh, Ike almost in tears and he finally stops.
"I'm gonna play COD, while you ner- I mean highly intellectual people continue writing your boring essay." With that, Ike pouts.
"It's not boring, Cartman." Ike said.
"Maybe if you read the book you could learn something." I said, backing up Ike, but Cartman already had the headphones on and was booting up the game. Ike looks at me and I roll my eyes again.
"How about we finish this essay later? How long do you have to finish it?"
"Until friday." Ike kicks the chair Cartman is sitting in, but he ignores him.
"Alright, we can finish it by then."
"Can I really borrow the book?"
"Of course, kiddo."
Ike sits on the ground and we start joking around about his school, and girls.

About 20 minutes later Kyle walks through the door. My breath almost hitches in my throat. What the hell, dude? I know I was expecting him, and hanging with Ike kinda blocked out my nerves, but damn. Has his hair gotten redder? It looks like a tousled fire of curly locks. Ike jumps up and hugs his nicely built brother. They're talking but I'm not listening. I can't help but stare at Kyle. He hasn't changed too much, but it looks like he beefed up a little bit. That black hoodie is tugged comfortably, almost sexy, to his torso. His dark, faded blue jeans were loose but I bet they were tight around his ass. Okay Stan, relax. Don't attack your best friend on the first day. Oh, but I wish he would turn around. Kyle suddenly picked up Ike and started spinning him around. I got a glimpse of his ass and it was just like I said. Ahaha. Shit. He put down Ike and now it was my turn. I got up slowly, trying to contain the blood rushing to both of my heads. I did all that I could think of. I put him in a head lock. I felt like it was a fitting greeting to your best friend you haven't seen in over a year. Damn bastard. Who told you to get so sexy over that time? His neck flexed under me.
"We'll it's about damn time you showed up, Kyle Broflovski." Kyle laughs. His husky voice got deeper too. Or maybe because he couldn't breathe. I tighten my grip. I wonder if I can do this later too. Before I realize what he's doing, Kyle forces his way out of my grip and reverses it so I'm quickly under his strong grip. Okay, we could do this instead.
"Good to see you too, Stan Marsh." His voice is definitely deeper. Before I lose myself I tap on his arm in defeat and he let's go, too soon if I may add. While I got his attention I punch him with all my strength. Half because he missed Ike's Bar Mitzvah and half because he left for a whole damn year.
"Damn, man." Kyle rubs his arm where I punched him and he looked at me confused.
"You know you deserve it for missing Ike's big day. You're lucky you didn't get worse. Kenny and Cartman been planning to pull a prank on you ever since they new you were coming."
Cartman, who continued playing the game, now had it paused with the sound of his name and he looked over at us deviously, and Kyle glared back.
"Yeah, what happened with that, and where is Kenny?" Kyle sounded genuinely curious and I wished Kenny was there too, just to get a look at this guy.
I gave him my classic eyebrow wiggle move and said,
"He's with his girlfriend now, and they couldn't come up with anything. Not even the all mighty Cartman."
Cartman shrugged nonchalantly, but you could tell he was beat up over it.
"I'm at my wits end, but that don't mean you're safe, Broflovski." Kyle laughed and it sent excited shivers through my body. Gotta calm down, Stan. Not right now. He just got home. His last thought is probably shagging his best friend.
"I'll keep that in mind, Fat ass." Kyle smirked confidently. Looks like he gained some confidence while being by himself in a whole new state. That's interesting.
"Sleep with one eye open." I laugh with Kyle at Cartman's open threat and it looks like Ike was about to start talking but then their Mom called out,
"Dinners ready! Come get it!" Oh I'm gonna get dinner, and something else. Count on it.
Kyle puts his hand on Ike's little shoulder and we all trail through the hallway to the kitchen. I get a few more glimpse of Kyle's ass, and I have to stop myself as we enter the kitchen. The aroma of the food is absolutely amazing and we all take a seat at the chairs surrounding the dinning table. It's beautiful. Mrs. Broflovski really went all out. It makes sense. It's for her son, of course. Kyle looks at his Mom with a face like, "You didn't have to do all this." But he truly looks grateful for the food. It's gonna be banging. Hopefully this dinner won't be the only thing I'm eating of the Broflovski's. I have to stop myself from laughing at the dinner table at that thought and we all dig in with our loud voices filling the room. I missed this. I missed him.
Author's note: Who knew Stan was such a perv? I mean we should've guessed when the first chapter of him he was waking up with a naked guy right next to him. And who could blame him, I mean, okay I'll stop. Ahahaha. Anyway, what's Stan gonna do when Kyle's only focus is finally being home. What's Kyle gonna do when he finds out Stan is so attracted to him? Does Kyle feel the same way? Hmmm... We'll find out. Anyway, how's your day been going? I have a day off of work tomorrow! Hurrah! I'll probably write another chapter then because this is getting exciting. I hope I'm not going to fast or slow and I hope y'all are enjoying this! Tell me what you think. You love it, hate it, it's damn right mediocre. I'd like to know what you think. Thanks a lot for reading! Also, I've never read How to kill a Mockingbird, but I was sound crew for the school play and it was really awesome. I enjoyed it so much. I should really read it, huh. Until next time. -K
