Matthew 7: 13-29 - False Teachers, Narrow Road, bear fruits

Welcome brothers and sisters, to another bible teachings. I hope your days are going bright or if your struggling know that your never alone in the seen and unseen world. It takes much faith in something to believe in the unseen that is our Lord Jesus, sometimes we will have our slip ups. But never stop moving or give in to many temptations, trials and test. For we are all weak, but we're made strong in the Lord's name.

Now we are moving in to finish Matthew 7 with the second half. First to know is there is only one path. The Narrow Gate, now what does it mean to walk through the narrow gate some will asked. In Matthew 7: 13-14, we are told from Jesus how our gate way to heaven is very narrow, we're also told how the path that's wide leads to our destruction, many of us before being saved are walking through the wide path. Meaning when we are told by Jesus he is the truth, and the light. He meant it, for anything that is outside of what Jesus commands is our path towards destruction. Many religions including some that proclaimed themselves to know and hear god can be considered false teachers. While God can change our lives in supernatural ways, we should also be warily of what we seek. For there are two different spirits among us unseen, there the angels of heaven and the fallen angels from our adversary.

The pathway that Jesus commands is through him and what he commands and teaches us how to live our life. There will be times somebody misinterpreted the words what God is saying, some of them creates false teaching and understanding that are now sound doctrine. The Bible holds many truths, but only God's wisdom can help us understand his words. Diligently seek God and he will be found, sometimes the path God wants us through will be full of hardship, suffering and pain. But in our Lord Jesus we are filled with joy when walking as followers of Christ.

Matthew 7:15-20 talks about the fruits, these fruits are created by our decisions, choices and way of life style. There are two fruits, one is made bad and the other made good, our Lord Jesus says we will be seen by our fruits. It's through this we also bear fruits in the Holy Spirit. These fruits are Joy, Love, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control. These fruits of the spirits that lead us provides good fruits in our lives. For when the world is pass away or our lives end, we will bear our fruits from our actions and choices of life. There are good fruits that comes from God, but there will also be many bad fruits that are filled rotten. Many times when chose our way outside of God, these fruits are made by our choices, decisions and ways of how we live. Only by the Holy Spirit that is given can we bear good fruits.

Moving down to Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus has also talk about the judgement and how false teachers will be judged. In the start of the year when Jesus came in my life, some videos from believers had talk about the judgement we will face and those who pretend to be followers of Christ, they have said how they will be throw into the lake of fire. When they proclaimed "Lord, Lord, didn't we prophecy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?" One of the things that terrified me most was when Jesus would say "I never knew you, you who practice lawlessness." It was around that time when going through the bible, God had started to give wisdom about this topic. One of the things that has stuck with me is when there are mentions of False Teachers. This struck me because Jesus is stating not only Pastors, but also to many Christian that say they believe, but don't follow through what God has called them.

This is why Jesus mentions our fruits and our actions as saying there will be many who falsely say they believe and have faith, but won't act or behave Christ-like. Jesus has commanded us to go spread the good news and make disciples with the world. But there will be as many knowing the words, but act falsely by now behaving like we should everyday of our lives. That's why those the end of Matthew 7: 24-29, we are to not only hear the words, but also doing them in truth. If we are followers of Christ we are bold as the lion and live in truth. Many times we sometimes try the hide or pretend that Jesus is the center of our life. But God knows how we live and behave because he's already here. Even as these words are type or spoken God is watching and listening to what I teach. Never forget that when you are submit yourselves to God, he's already watching and hearing your words. Just like Joseph from Egypt and Denial from Babylon and Persia, they knew that God is always watching over them. Folks we need to take real consideration of how we live and are we acting out like Jesus wanted us to live? Sometimes you will feel your doing something wrong, but when you continue to work on your mistakes and failures, you will be living your life like Christ.

Not everyone is going to get what God is saying right, but we should always try and listen to God corrections in our lives. For only he can lead us straight and through the narrow path. If we live outside of God we are leading ourselves astray that isn't for our life. But even then while we are walking backwards, we are brought forward once more. If you sometimes have trouble praying, take three helpful advise, stillness, quietness, and patients. Be still to calm yourselves and focus on God, quiet by silencing noise, distractions and other things that will interrupt your prayer, and be patient for God. For when he answers it's by his time not ours. When we wait for God, we are always lead the right way. It will take lots of practice, but everyone can do it, will be worth all the times that are spent on Video Games, movies, cartoons and all those free times we spend. I'm guilty of this, but I know that when God leads my life, then the distractions are like the wind blowing through around you. Until next time, may God be in your life and for many starting find god in your lives.
