The Chosen One

As Vegeta and I sprinted towards the ballroom all you could see was smoke. As we got closer, I heard people screaming and the sound of ki blasts. Before we fully made it to the ballroom Vegeta grabbed me and started running a different direction. "Vegeta what the hell?" I ask trying to get my arm loose. "If you haven't noticed we're going in the wrong direction."

I hear him sigh and keep running. "Yeah I'm not stupid women, if you didn't notice there were ki blasts coming from that direction." He said slowing down. "Meaning there are people fighting, we're being attacked." Vegeta stopped in front of this giant painting of one of the Kings.

"Vegeta that's a beautiful picture, but there's no time to just stand here." I said looking back making sure no one is coming.

"Tch" Vegeta rolls his eyes and push his hand against the wall next to the painting. He releases a small ki blast and the painting starts to move up revealing a hallway. My mouth immediately drops seeing the secret passageway. "Well women, there's no time to just be standing there." He says as he grabs my hand and walks forward. The passageway slowly closes behind us and Vegeta starts running again with me following right behind him.

~BALLROOM~

"Where the hell is Vegeta and that blue haired women?" Frieza screams as he blasts through one of the Saiyan worriers.

"Prince Frieza we're trying out hardest to locate them, but it seems they cannot be found." One of Frieza's henchmen says while bowing.

Frieza grunts and then pushes past the man. "Grab the king and queen and bring them to my father." He says as he walks towards the door.

"But your father only said bring the Queen and Bulma your majesty." The henchmen was still bowing.

Frieza stopped where he was and slowly turned around. He looks around and sees other henchmen trying not to pay attention to their conversation. "I need one of you to go find me Vegeta and Bulma, and you…" Frieza looks back at him and raises his finger point towards him. He releases a small ki blast which goes straight through the man's head as his lifeless body falls to the ground everyone stares at him. "If anyone else feels like talking back they can join him." Frieza leaves the ballroom.

~SECRET PASSAGEWAY~

"So where are we headed?" I ask still running behind him.

Vegeta stops as the tunnel splits into 3 different directions. "Well first we must get my brother, he should be in his chambers, then we're going to get a ship and I'm sending you and him off world." Vegeta says as he takes the most left path. He stopped and started knocking on the bricks and listening for a sound

"Off world!" I stop where I'm at. "I'm not leaving you here." I say as I cross my arms.

As Vegeta heard a hollow knock he pulled the brick out and takes a small dagger from where it use to be. He turns around and hands me the dagger and grabs my arm to keep me moving. "Yes, you are, you aren't really helpful to me." He says as I snatch my arm away. "You can't fight and the best thing your good at is piloting a ship, I'm obviously not leaving my planet. I don't know if my father and mother are still alive and my people are going to need a leader." I sigh deeply as I untie the bracelet around me wrist and tie it to my thigh securely placing the dagger between the fabric and my flesh. Vegeta stops in front of some doors and puts his ear to it. "Stay quiet we're at Tarble's room."

As Vegeta slowly cracked the secret door he stopped and peaked in. "Okay it seems quiet." He said as he walked into the room. He went straight to the bed and pulled the covers back. "Give him back!" Vegeta said as he turned to see a shadowy creature sitting in a chair by the door.

"I didn't expect you to notice me." Zarbon smirked. "How about you come with us quietly and we'll give you your brother back." Zarbon pointed towards the closet and out walks a tall skinny reptilian looking creature who was hold Tarble. "We wont harm a hair on his head if you help us locate Bulma."

Vegeta let out a sigh. "Bulma?" Vegeta said quizzically. I know he wasn't calling me, so I stayed in the secret hallway listening closely. "Ha! I guess that women finally did it now." Vegeta walked over to the reptilian man and bent down. "Are you okay?" He asked Tarble while scanning the young Saiyan. The boy nodded slowly. "I don't know where the women is, but my best bet would be one of the ships leaving the planet, she's an excellent pilot." The prince said crossing his arms and smirking.

"You expect me to believe that she isn't with you?" Zarbon said chuckling. "She's probably in that secret hallway you came out of." Zarbon quickly hopped up and went to the hallway and swung the picture wide open. I react quickly and stab him in the cheek with the dagger. "SON OF A- GO NOW!" He screams as he holds his cheek. The reptilian presses a button on his chest and quickly disappears from the spot he was standing in with Tarble screaming for Vegeta.

"Dammit!" Vegeta yells and runs back into the hallway. He quickly closes the picture behind us and starts sprinting.

"What's the plan now?" I ask trying to keep up.

The Saiyan stops and picks me up bridal style and then keeps running. "Well before you royally doomed us it was to save you but now you have to come with me to save my brother then I'm getting you off this planet." Vegeta said making a turn down the long hallway.

"Fuck you I saved us." I said holding on tight to Vegeta's neck. "Also we didn't know that they had a plan to faze out of the room." I put my head down sadly thinking of how scared Tarble is in this situation.

Vegeta looked at me and stopped running. "Hey, I know we didn't know okay." He said putting me down. "The best we can hope for is they still have my parents so Tarble wont be alone." He grabbed my hand and squeezed it to reassure me. I looked up at him shocked at the nice jesture, he smirked and continued running.

We finally make it to the end of this crazy maze. "Well dead end." I say about to turn around but was quickly stopped by Vegeta.

"Wait" he said and turns my back towards the dead end. I look at him confused, he smirks and me then pushes me ruffly at the wall. I gasp as I pass through and start to fall.
