Marinette's House (December 24)
I start squeezing out red macaroon batter onto a tray. I decided to wake up early for once and helped my parents make macaroons.
"Marinette, are you almost done with that tray? I need to put a tray in the oven."
"Just a sec Maman." I quickly finish pumping out the batter and hand it to my mother.
"You know, it's such a nice day, you should go out for a walk." I hear her say to me.
"Okay."
A Random Sidewalk Somewhere In Paris
I look up at the sky while I walk down the sidewalk. It looks beautiful with the snow falling from the clouds above. I see the frosted trees and I stare at them in awe. I love Christmas time. I keep walking and then I bump into someone.
"Ahh!" I start to fall backwards. I feel a hand reach out and grab me. I look up to see emerald eyes.
"Oh, umm hey Adrien," I say once I was safe on the ground.
"Marinette, you've gotta stop doing that." I look at him questioning.
"Doing what?"
"Staring into space while walking around. I've lost count of how many times you've bumped into me and almost fallen. I know the rest of our friends have to."
"Well sorry that I think the outdoors are beautiful." I hear Adrien start to chuckle.
"C'mon let's get you home before you fall again."
"ADRIEN! I'm not that bad." I shriek at him.
"Believe me, you are."
I know, I know! Another extremely short chapter. I wanted to post something today so I decided to split a chapter in half and post one part today and the other part tomorrow so see you then. Bye for now!
