"Okay. Here I go." Abby said. She, Valerie, Joey, and Robby were in the park and doing a little training. Abby was up as she ran and did multiple backflips until she jumped right in the air and spun around and landed right on her feet. "How far?"
"You're the farthest." Robby said.
"No fair. She's more athletic." Joey said.
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Joey. You can do it too. You just need to actually workout." Abby said with Robby chuckling. "You're turn, Valerie."
"I'm not sure." Valerie said as she was hesitant. "I don't think I can do all that."
"Sure you can." Abby said.
"You're smart. You might be able to get further than Abby with the right..." Robby said as he tried to find the right word.
"Calculations?" Abby questioned.
"Yeah." Robby said.
"Come on, Val." Joey said, but Valerie just wasn't sure she could do those tricks without morphing.
"You know what, we should get going. We're suppose to meet up with the others." Abby said and Valerie seemed relieved. They got their stuff together and were on their way to meet with their friends.
"Make a wish and may it come true!" They looked ahead and saw a lady with a stand they've never seen before. "Simply write your wish, put it in the magic box, and it may come true."
"A wish stand? Cool." Robby said as he went over and took a card.
"Robby, you're not really buying this, are you?" Abby said.
"Yeah. Wishes don't come true just because you write them down." Valerie said.
"Maybe not, but it's fun." Joey said as he did one too. Abby and Valerie were skeptical, but Joey and Robby thought this was fun. "Watch. I'll wish for something silly." Both of them wrote their wishes down and placed them in a box.
"Hey, guys!" Travis said as he and the others showed up. "We got ice cream. There was a pretty sweet stand close by."
"What's going on here?" David said as they handed the others some ice cream.
"Some sort of wish stand." Abby said.
"Really? I think that's a little cool." Sierra said. "Joey, want some ice cream?" She offered one, but Joey gasped when he saw it.
"Is that a crazy vanilla sundae?" Joey said. "That was my favorite ice cream when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it in years. That's actually what I wished for." He took the sundae and enjoyed the sweet taste of it.
"That doesn't prove anything." Valerie said. "Robby, what about you? What did you just wish for?" Before he could say anything, a black limo pulled up to them and a supermodel teenager stepped out.
"Are you Robby Tamers?" She asked with the guys blown away by her beauty. "I'm such a huge fan. Do you want to hang out?"
"This is my wish!" Robby said as he couldn't believe it. He didn't waste a second as he stepped inside with her. The others were convinced. So David, Travis, and Sierra hurried for a card and got them down.
"Are you guys serious?" Valerie said.
"You've got to admit that it was pretty weird that just happened." Abby said.
"May all your wishes come true." The lady said. Once they placed them in the box, the rangers walked away. When they left, the lady walked away form her stand and met with someone behind the bushes. That person was Zabaro.
"Did it worked?" Zabaro questioned.
"Five of the rangers fell for it." The lady said as she changed into a monster. A genie-themed monster with sparkling pink clothes and pink skin with a purple hat and a red mask over her eyes.
"Excellent, Wishharm." Zabaro said.
"Hopefully they're wishes will help us defeat the rangers." Wishharm said.
...
The Youth Center
Now that the rangers have fallen into the monster's trap, it's only a matter of time until and what they wished for that will get to them. All of them headed back to the Youth Center with Sierra coming in with a great idea.
"Hey, guys. I just thought of something." Sierra said. "It's such a beautiful day today. How about we go have a picnic?"
"Sounds like a great idea. I'm in." Travis said.
"I can't." Abby said as she was in the middle of using workout equipment. "I need to get a few workouts in."
"The Youth Center is a little understaffed today. I promised I helped out." David said.
"I've got some things I need to do myself." Valerie said.
"Like what?" Sierra said.
"Just some personal things." Valerie said as she walked away. There was just something she had to work on and she needed to do it now. Sierra turned to Joey, but he looked like he was in pain.
"Joey? Are you okay?" Sierra asked.
"Not really. I don't think that ice cream is sitting well." Joey said. He got out of his chair and ran straight to the bathroom.
"I guess it's just you and me, Travis." Sierra said.
"You and me?" Travis said as he liked the idea.
"Yeah. I'll get a few things." Sierra said as she left and Travis was really happy.
"This is what I wished for!" Travis whispered as he was real excited.
...
The Park
Travis and Sierra went back to the park for their little picnic. They headed over to the lake and saw a bunch of ducks and swans there.
"Look at those swans." Travis said.
"How beautiful." Sierra said. They set down a blanket near the lake. As they were setting up, Travis spotted a mother duck and a few baby ducks coming their way.
"Hello there." Travis said as he talked to the ducks, but they kept coming right at him and they were moving around all around Travis. He tried to move out of the way and tried not to step on them, but he ended up tripping and falling on his back before they left.
"Are you okay?" Sierra said.
"Yeah. Crazy birds." Travis said as she helped him up. "What was that about?"
"No clue." Sierra said. "You want to eat?"
"Yeah. I'm hungry." Travis said. They sat down and Travis reached for a sandwich with him taking a bite out of it, but Sierra noticed something.
"Ants!" Sierra said. Travis looked and saw ants all over the food, including the sandwich he just bit into. Travis spat it out and both of them stood up and tried to get the ants off them.
"Some date." Travis said.
"A date? Did you think this was a date?" Sierra asked.
"Well... I..." Travis tried to explain himself, but Sierra stopped listening when she saw a woman running by. "Sierra, are you okay?"
"Mom?" Sierra said and ran after that woman. "Mom! Wait! It's me!" Sierra chased after the woman she believed was her mother. She hurried and nearly caught the woman, but Wishharm came out of nowhere.
"Surprise!" Wishharm said.
"Out of my way!" Sierra said as she tried to move past her, but she grabbed Sierra's arm and tossed her back.
"I don't think so!" Wishharm said. She pulled out a scepter and hit her for her to fall on the ground. "Now to finish you!" She was going to attack, but Travis jumped in and kicked her back. "Next time." She made her retreat with travis helping Sierra up.
"You okay?" Travis asked.
"Yeah." Sierra said as she looked around. "Darn it. I thought I saw my mother, but that monster made me lose track of her."
"Wait. Was that your wish: seeing your mom?" Travis asked.
"Yeah. Why?" Sierra said.
"Something weird is going on. Both our wishes came true, but they ended up going badly." Travis said.
"Both? What was yours?" Sierra said. Travis tried to find a way to cover that.
"Not important. What is that it went bad." Travis said. "Not just us. Joey wished for ice cream and now he has a stomachache. Robby's wish came true too. That all can't be a coincidence."
"I think you're right. We better get the others." Sierra said.
...
The Youth Center
Valerie went back to the Youth Center and she did not look happy. David was still there and spotted her.
"Hey, sis. Something wrong?" David asked.
"Let's just say I was performing some self-experiments and the results were not pleasing." Valerie said. "I'll be okay." She looked around and noticed the others aren't around. "Where is everyone?"
"Well, Abby was going to try and get in some tennis practice. Robby's still with his girl. Joey's in the bathroom because his stomach has been bothering him." David listed. "As for Travis and Sierra, they went on that picnic alone."
"Those two? Alone? You mean like a date?" Valerie said.
"Yeah... I guess it is." David said with a grin.
"I bet one of them wished for that." Valerie said. When she said that, she realized something. "It was weird how Joey got an ice cream he hasn't seen since he was a kid. Also how that girl came and asked Robby out. Hey, David, what did you wish for?"
"Something like Robby's I just wished for a nice girl that would think I'm a great guy." Davis said. Valerie thought that was typical. That was when a girl tripped, but David was able to catch her. They looked right at each other and both were filled with admiration.
"Hi. Thanks." The girl said.
"No problem." David said as he placed her down. Valerie couldn't believe what she saw and could see she slipped David her number. That was enough for Valerie as she was leaving. "Sis, where are you going?"
"I know it sounds crazy coming from me, but I'm going to make a wish." Valerie said as she hurried to that wishing stand. David was impressed, but he changed his mood as he felt pain in his back.
"What the heck?" David said as it was a little uncomfortable. Before he did anything else, he heard his communicator and stepped to the side. "Yeah?"
"David, teleport to the command center. The others think something strange is going on." Zultro said.
"On my way." David said. He made sure no one was around and teleported.
...
The Command Center
Travis and Sierra teleported there and told Zultro and Gamma on what was going on. Abby and Joey were the first ones to arrive as they both teleported in.
"You feeling better, Joey?" Sierra asked.
"I think so, but that ice cream did not agree with me." Joey said.
"So what's going on?" Abby said. Before they could explain, David teleported in and he was still in pain. "David, you okay?"
"I caught this girl from falling, but I think it messed up my back." David said. "I should be okay." That was when Robby teleported in and he didn't look so good himself as he had a black eye.
"What happened to you?!" Abby asked.
"It wasn't enough that girl broke my heart, but she had to do this to me as well." Robby said and they actually felt sorry for him.
"Guys, we really need to talk." Travis said. "Something really weird is going on."
"All of our wishes came true, but they went bad." Sierra said. "I thought I saw my mom, but I was attacked by a monster. You guys had your wishes come true and now look at you." When they heard all of it, they all were beginning to think something weird was going on. "Zultro, what's going on?"
"This does sound rather strange. Gamma, run a scan for any unusual energy readings." Zultro said.
"Right." Gamma said as he did just that. "Hmm... I actually am picking up a strange signal near the park."
"That's where we made our wishes! It was at that stand!" Travis said. That was when David realized something.
"Valerie! She's on her way to make a wish of her own! She doesn't know the trouble she could be in!" David said.
"We've got to warn her!" Abby said as the six of them hurried to stop Valerie and get to the bottom of this.
...
The Park
Valerie decided to make her own wish come true with that stand. She found it and walked right over to it without knowing the danger she's in.
"One of those wish cards please." Valerie said.
"Of course. Help yourself. Once you have it written, just place it in the box" The lady said. Valerie took one and began to write down her wish. Just as she was about to place it in the box, the other rangers showed up.
"Valerie, no!" Travis said as he grabbed her before she put the wish in the box and pulled her away from it.
"What are you guys doing?" Valerie said.
"Something is up with that stand." Joey said.
"I know because your wishes actually came true." Valerie said.
"No. They all came true, but they all went bad in the end." Sierra said. "Whatever you were about to wish for would have been the same."
"What's going on? What's up with those cards?" Travis said as they wanted answers.
"You rangers caught on sooner than I thought. I figured I would have gotten a few more wishes in that would have finished you." The lady said as she stepped forward and showed her true monster form. "I guess we'll have to do this the hard way."
"You're about to wish you never messed with us." Travis said. "It's morphin time!"
"White Spinosaur!"
"Green Plesiosaur!"
"Black Ankylosaur!"
"Pink Pterodactyl!"
"Blue Triceratops!"
"Yellow Parasaur!"
"Red Tyrannosaurus!" The seven of them morphed and were ready to face this monster.
"My wish for your demise is about to come true." Wishharm said as she twirled her scepter around. "Take my Shooting Stars of Pain!" She generated several stars that flew at them and blasted all of them. "Come, golems, and attack!" She called as a team of golems showed up and went on the attack. The rangers were able to pull themselves together and used their weapons to fight them off.
"Hold it!" Valerie said as she jumped over them and kicked Wishharm. She pulled out her flute and had the dagger blade ready. "You're going down."
"I don't think so." Wishharm said as she launched more stars at her. Valerie rolled out of the way of her attacks. Valerie started playing her flute and tried to deal some harm. "Stop that!" She fired more energy blasts at her. Valerie jumped through and started doing backflips towards Wishharm. She jumped at her and slashed her weapon against Wishharm with her being pushed back.
"Nice moves, Val." Joey said as the rangers regrouped.
"I knew you could do it." Abby said.
"Now let's put our weapons together and finish this." Travis said. The five of them brought their weapons together and aimed it.
"Neo Power Blaster! Fire!" They fired and blasted Wishharm with it.
"I guess I wasn't careful when I wished." Wishharm said before she collapsed and she ended up destroyed. Scarlie didn't even bother making this one grow. The rangers were demorphed and were glad that they got this one.
"Another one bites the dust." Travis said.
"Yeah, but that one was actually nice for a while." Joey said. "The things we wished for actually came true.."
"Don't start with that." Abby said. "Guys, it is nice when wishes come true, but it's not because of some sort of gimmick. I don't know if there's really any secret or magic to make wishes come true except one. You just need to believe. All that other stuff like shooting stars or throwing a coin in the fountain just gives a person hope and that is something people need."
"Wow, Abby. That's actually some great advice." Sierra said.
"I guess we all did get a little crazy." David said. "Good thing we got to you when we did, Val. What were you going to wish for anyway?"
"It doesn't really matter at this point." Valerie said. The other rangers just went with it and left it at that. Val still had the card and looked down. She wrote "I wish I could be more confident." Valerie is confident when she's morphed, but when she isn't, she has problems. All she did was the card was throw it away. Hopefully, her wish will come true one day.
