"Last time, on Total Drama Revenge of the Cruise Ship..." Chris began the recap, sitting in a hot tub in his own quarters. "Our ship had no technical difficulties whatsoever! Yep, none at all! Just a perfectly normal trip down to Nonsuch Island in the Bermuda Triangle! For the first and only time, Geoff and Bridgette hosted the surfing challenge, which was pathetically easy! Six players won invincibility, so because of that and Geoff spilling the beans to Marty, Brinley was sent home for betraying her own alliance a few episodes back! But fret not, for it was in an act of love! Doesn't really matter though, since Brinley was still eliminated. What will become of Marty's ever shrinking alliance? Why is Max still here? And just who will take the Cannon of Shame tonight? Find out right here, on Total, Drama, Revenge of the Cruise Ship!"

It was around 10 am on the ship and most of the contestants were currently in the cafeteria eating breakfast. Amber and Valerie were the last ones in line to get their food, which was of decent quality all the way through. Mushy pancakes doused in syrup with overcooked hash browns. "We've gone from garbage slop to crummy fast food standards, I'll take it." Valerie remarked, getting a quick giggle from Amber.

Chef was not at all amused however, and hurled a spoonful of the aforementioned gray slop at Valerie's face. Chef was pretty much the only person she couldn't full on tackle for a stunt like that, so she just wiped it off of her face and followed Amber to their usual seats at the former Killifish table. "Chef is just the absolute worst. At least Chris doesn't assault us directly." Valerie grumbled, sitting down across from Amber.

Amber shrugged, thinking more about the statement for a moment. "Well... Chris breaks a ton of laws and endangers us a lot more than Chef. Chef is only following orders from Chris, so I don't think that he is as bad." Amber argued, starting to cut her pancakes.

Wolfy walked over with her tray to move next to Amber, preferring to sit with them than by herself. Alex was with Marty and Tristan, so she preferred to just sit with the other girls. "Hiiii! What are you two talking about?" Wolfy asked them eagerly, already halfway done with her food.

"Valerie was just complaining about Chef, nothing really special." Amber answered quickly, smiling at Wolfy and giving a quick wave before going back to her breakfast. They had talked plenty of times, but it just dawned on her that she never tried to recruit Wolfy for their alliance.

Wolfy nodded, taking a quick glance at Chef to see if he was in a bad mood still, which was an obvious yes. "Oh geez, well look on the bright side, we're getting some pretty nice food now!" Wolfy tried to lift the mood, which only worked on Amber. Valerie was still bitter over Chef hurling the slop at her.

Amber saw how bitter she was too, so she tried to think of what would cheer her up next. "Well there could be much worse besides Chef. Katniss is on the other side of the table and Max is... where even is he?" Amber began, before realizing that the wannabe villain was nowhere in sight.

Valerie looked around and was delighted to see that Max wasn't in the cafeteria at all. "Hopefully he just slept in. After the stunt he pulled last challenge, I am making sure that he goes home today!" Valerie slammed a fist onto the table, remembering the humiliating defeat to Max. Just losing to him was humiliating for her in of itself.

Amber put a hand on top of the fist that Valerie slammed down, not wanting her to get all riled up. "Hey, that's in the past. Don't let yourself get angry. We can definitely beat Max easily if we work together." Amber assured her, which calmed her back down.

Wolfy held up a thumbs up, smiling at Valerie. "Yeah! No one likes him anyway. As long as he doesn't win invincibility, he'll be getting voted off!" Wolfy added more assurement, which finally cheered up Valerie.

-Confessional: Amber-

"Ugh... Valerie is a great friend, but as we go on, she keeps making herself more and more of a target. I've tried so many times to get her to change, but she never listens! I don't want to get on her bad side either, so I just have to go along with it. What to do what to do... Wolfy is on our side, and I probably have Yvette and by proxy Max with us too. The two of them are spending an awful lot of time together though. Max could be a threat later down the- oh what am I saying? It's Max! Nothing to worry about with him."

-End Confessional-

The absent-from-the-cafeteria Max was in the engine room of the cruise ship at the moment while everyone else was eating, with Yvette close behind him. "This place, it's dark, it's busy, it's dangerous, it's puuuuuuure evil! It shall be my lair!" Max declared, before letting out another one of his evil laughs.

Yvette was looking over the machinery at work in the engine room from above, since they were walking on a narrow walkway above the actual engines. "Interesting choice for a lair, might I recommend elsewhere on the ship? While the engine room may give off the appearance of significance, we have little input without deliberately causing destruction." Yvette said, crouching down and jotting some notes into her notepad while looking down at the massive engines.

Max didn't like to admit he was wrong, so he shook his head quickly. "Nonsense! These engines are what power the ship, so they symbolize the ultimate evil power! I also like the clinking sound we make when we walk on this walkway, so this is now my lair!" Max refuted her suggestion, rubbing his hands together evilly as he came up with all kinds of ways to make himself seem more evil.

Yvette was going to object, but she already knew there was no convincing him with this. "Very well. I shall escort myself out and get breakfast. Enjoy your new lair I suppose. I would personally recommend the boiler room though. Much more open space." Yvette said on her way out as she turned around and walked back upstairs to head to the cafeteria.

Max considered idea, now actually thinking it over since she wasn't around. "More space for more evil, that could work. Maybe I'll consider it! Oh wait, I could have two lairs! Perfect! Bwahahahaha!" Max laughed more, turning to head back up the stairs as well.

Back in the cafeteria, Noah and Katniss were eating together, although Katniss had already finished her breakfast. "Are you going to finish yours Noah?" Katniss asked him, pointing to the hash browns.

Noah took one look at her excited expression and shook his head, sliding his tray over to her. "I wasn't planning on it. Help yourself." he replied, to which Katniss immediately dug her fork into the hash browns and wolfed them down.

"Thanks Noah!" Katniss thanked him, just a little bit muffled since she was talking while eating. It wouldn't be very long until she just finished them either.

Alex was watching the two of them while eating his food, seeing if any more than friendly exchanges were going on between them. Tristan grabbed his attention though by speaking up, since he just assumed Alex was spacing out. "Hey uhhh, you alright Alex? You've just been staring off dude." he asked him, snapping Alex out of his focus.

"Yeah, I'm alright. I was just thinking about who we should go for next. I'm still thinking we take care of Noah." Alex responded, still seeing him as a threat to his gameplan.

Tristan wasn't suprised that Alex still wanted to take out Noah, just the reasoning didn't really back up this constant aim. "I'm thinking we vote off Amber or Valerie. They're getting a bunch of people in an alliance I think." he suggested, gesturing to the trio of girls.

Alex briefly considered it, but shook his head. "Wolfy and I have been voting together for a while, and Katniss hates Valerie, so I don't think they are a threat yet. Noah might work something out between them and they could get a massive alliance going however, so I still think Noah is our best bet." Alex restated his opinion, just throwing more reasons on the spot.

Marty wasn't buying it much either, liking Tristan's idea more. "I'm with Tristan on this one, Valerie is pretty rude anyway, so I'd prefer to not have her around at all." Marty said as he finished up his pancakes, looking over at the girls as well.

"Well if you want to get rid of Valerie, you'll probably have to pick up some votes. Besides us, I don't think many would side with us on that one, and it could make us a target." Alex brought the problems with the idea, hoping to make them lean towards Noah instead.

While they discussed who should go, Yvette walked into the cafeteria, with Max soon entering behind her. Raphael was sitting alone, so the two of them sat down with him once they got their food. They had a rough start, but Raphael still considered Yvette to be one of his Killifish comrades. Tristan and Alex both took note of the three of them sitting together, having different opinions about it.

-Confessional: Alex-

"This is annoying. I want to get Noah out of here as soon as possible, but none of the others want to. I'm worried they might start asking deeper questions on why, so I have to be quick about it. I could maybe convince Amber and co. to go for him, maybe Raphael too. Max is free, but that just leaves Yvette. We haven't spoken ever since she found me out, and I need her gone too. Noah is playing a safe game here, teaming with Katniss, but it won't take him further than today if I play my cards right."

-Confessional: Tristan-

"Man, Alex is being really pushy about Noah. Reminds me of when I wanted Jonathan gone. Yoooo, is Alex doing same shady stuff too? I'm glad I'm on his side instead of against him. I feel like I've been losing my edge lately. Yeah I got rid of Matias, but maybe a little too early? I wasn't expecting to lose Brinley and Richard just like that, but now I've just got two main allies. Yvette has moved on from me I think, but that's nothing the old Tristan charm can't take care of!"

-Confessional: Noah-

"I caught Alex just staring right at me while eating. I'm all the way across the cafeteria, so unless he's got a thing for watching people eat, then I have no idea what he's up to. Nor do I really care."

-End Confessionals-

In the captain's room, Chris and Chef were just hanging out taking a coffee break now that the cruise ship had reached it's stop in Thailand. "You know Chef, this batch of kids ain't that bad. Some of them could give us some really good ratings if we keep them around for another season. Like that Katniss chick, she's wild man! I bet the fans are loving her." Chris told Chef as he leaned back in his recliner.

Chef nodded in agreement, having a reluctant enjoyment for Katniss is well. "That girl ain't right, but she puts up more of a fight than any of the other rascals." Chef agreed with him, since she was definitely his favorite.

Chris looked over the clipboard with the list of contestants on them, most of them crossed out now. "You know, we never actually watched the audition tapes for some of these kids. Last time we dug through them for the show we got that great clip from Sky's." Chris mentioned, walking over to a drawer and pulling out a bunch of DVDs.

"You wanna check some of them out?" Chef asked Chris, turning on the television in the room. They had a DVD player among other things hooked up to the television, so they had plenty of ways to entertain themselves instead of actually hosting the show.

Chris nodded in confirmation, grabbing Amber's off of the top of the pile and pushing it into the DVD player. "Amber has been one of the more... boring ones. She's gotta be the Sky of the bunch, so hopefully she's got something good in her audition!" Chris said, trying to think of how much noteworthy things Amber had done compared to everyone else.

-Audition Tape: Amber-

Amber is shown sitting on the steps of some official government looking building. She's looking at her watch and takes a deep breath. "Okay 10 minutes left of lunch break..." she looks up at the camera finally. "Greetings, I'm Amber, Amber Carpson, I'm the Mayors assistant over here, and I'd like to audition for your new Total Drama season." She steps a bit closer to the camera, "I'm very intelligent, and extremely persistent, the mayor doesn't hire just anyone to surround him at almost all times." She gives a small smile to the camera. "I hope you can find it in your heart and your extremely busy schedule to pick me for your show!" She looks back to her watch. "Oh! Goodness I must be leaving!" She hurries to the camera, and frantically begins pressing buttons "How do you turn this thing off?"

-End Audition Tape-

Chris let out a fake yawn once the audition ended, unamused with the lack of dirty secrets hidden inside. "Wow, she's some government official wannabe. That's soooooo interesting. Who picked out these kids anyway?" Chris asked, ejecting the DVD from the player and putting it back in it's envelope.

"Maybe if you didn't let the unpaid interns do it and did it yourself, then you'd actually like the dang kids you picked!" Chef chided him, since Chris was too lazy to look over the tapes while they were being sent in.

Chris rolled his eyes, trying to ignore that Chef was totally right. "Whatever. We've got Marty next. He's gotten the whole love thing going on with Brinley and... what's her name? Spring? Whatever, doesn't matter." Chris said, popping the DVD in and letting it play.

-Audition Tape: Marty-

The camera fades in to an apartment room, with the TV on running a rerun of Total Drama World Tour. Marty walks in in his boxers and a bowl of cereal. He looks at the camera before freezing. "Snap." He mutters before going out of the room again. He comes back out with a shirt and some shorts on before sitting down to face the camera. "Sorry 'bout that. Forgot I had set up the camera last night." He says. "Anyway, my name is Marty and I would like to be on your show." As he is talking he stands up and gets his cereal again. "I would like to join because.." before he continues, he takes a spoonful of cereal and puts it into his mouth.

"..It would test my strength, smarts and people skills." He finished with a cereal in his mouth. He decides to just drink the rest of it and does just that. Some milk spills onto his shirt before he finishes. After he does finish, he puts the bowl down and tries to finish his audition. "I may not look like much, but trust me. I am a lot of person in one body." he finishes with his hand on his chest. He looks down and sees the milk he spilled and face palms himself. "Well, I have to do laundry anyway, he muttered as the camera fades to black.

-End Audition Tape-

Chris was even more unamused than with Amber's, growing more visibly frustrated that none of these auditions were giving him the juicy details he wanted so far. "What the heck is this? Kid spills cereal on himself and gets into Total Drama!? I guess if we want to embarass him we have some extra footage." Chris complained, taking that DVD out and setting it down on top of Amber's.

Chef shrugged, at a loss for words since there wasn't much to make fun of with these auditions. "You right Chris man. They're missing that oomph the old ones had. Try that scrawny kid's tape, the one with the glasses." Chef suggested, barely able to remember any of their names.

Chris grabbed Yvette's audition tape, which was the only one that had been sent in via VHS tape. "She really wanted this to be an audition tape huh. Well let's hope it's actually worth something. I'm ready to go start the challenge if they're all this boring." Chris said, already prepared to fall asleep midway through the audition tape.

Chef wasn't sure what to do with her audition tape though, since the DVD player didn't have any slot for VHS. "I don't think we can watch this one. We ain't got the right equipment for it man." Chef said, putting it back with the DVDs.

Chris grumbled, annoyed that they couldn't even watch one of them. "Whatever. I'm bored anyway. Let's just go get the challenge started so we can torture those kids. At least then I can have some fun!" Chris replied, getting up from his seat to leave the room and head to the cafeteria.

-Confessional: Amber-

"So Chris watched my audition tape? Well of course nothing is going to be hidden in mine! When you're trying to make your way up in the world of politcs, you obviously wouldn't just put out your darkest secrets in the hands of reality show producers!"

-Confessional: Marty-

"Well Chris finally watched our audition tapes? Uhhh, yeah. I thought if I made myself look a bit clumsy, then they'd pick me. But hey, I'm here, so it worked!"

-End Confessionals-

Chris walked into the cafeteria where pretty much everyone was done eating, a wide grin on his face now that he could do what he always loved doing, which was making these guys miserable. "Hello travellers! We already reached our stop, but for once, your challenge starts right in here! Just down the off ramp is the city of Phuket, Thailand!" Chris began the explanation for the challenge, which got everyone to sit right up in their seats.

The two guests for the day stepped inside the cafeteria right after Chris, being the nerdy Harold again and the even nerdier Sam. "Sup dudes! We're gonna game on today!" Sam greeted them, looking very excited about the challenge.

Noah and Harold gave quick nods to each other, and Chris now continued the explanation of what the challenge would be. "You will all be participating in a race similar to a game that we do not have the rights to name, so I'll be calling it McLean Kart! There are keys hidden around the starting area, which you will have to find to get your go-karts started! The race is pretty simple, just grab three flags along the path given to you on your go-kart's screen, then cross the finish line!" Chris explained, which sounded even more fun than the previous challenge to most.

Marty raised his hand after doing a quick headcount, looking a little confused. "Why wasn't this our last challenge when there was 12 of us? We're one person short!" Marty asked, referring to the amount of the players typically in a race in the game Chris was referring to.

Chris wasn't phased by this, instead he looked glad Marty asked. "We are well aware of this! That's where our two guests come in! They'll be racing against you in a souped up kart to mess with you every step of the way!" Chris answered, Sam's current smile just growing into a grin.

No one else had any questions, so Chris walked over and held the door of the cafeteria open. "Without further ado, feel free to get hunting for your keys! Or not, and just lose the challenge and get a one way ticket to the Cannon of Shame!" Chris exclaimed, starting the challenge and promptly being nearly trampled by everyone as they hurried out of the ship.

All of the contestants hurried down the off ramp and onto the dock that lead straight to a parking lot, where 12 go-karts were parked. There was a large booth to the side of the parking lot where normally cars would pay to park, but it had a large banner with Chris's face on it, indicating that it was where the keys were located. All but one contestant made a beeline for the booth, wanting to get in there ahead of the others. "Move it soldiers! Or else you'll be behind before the race even starts!" Raphael told them all as he was in the front, easily running faster than any of them.

-Confessional: Raphael-

"Even if we're not on teams anymore, I still see myself as the leader of these people. They need proper guidance if they're going to be worthy competition! A challenge is no fun if everyone is a complete pushover!"

-End Confessional-

Instead of going to the booth, Yvette walked up to one of the go-karts in the middle of the bunch and sat down inside. She took her glasses off and wedged one of the rims inside a gap underneath the steering wheel between where the key had to be inserted. With just a few turns, she was able to take off the casing, exposing all of the wires. From there she simply pulled out the wires that were seperated by the ignition lock and connected them. The go-kart started and Yvette pulled out of the parking lot before most of the contestants had even started searching.

-Confessional: Yvette-

"Most go-kart manufacturers do not make it a priority to create proper security measures for their vehicles. Go-karts are treated more as toys I suppose, so everything is purely mechanical, rather than utilizing the computer technology most cars nowadays employ to avoid hotwiring."

-End Confessional-

Inside of the booth, Raphael and Katniss were the first ones in. As a supposed reward, the first three pairs of keys were rather easy to spot. One was right in front of the booth's window, one was on top of a supply cabinet, and one was simply hanging on a hook with a bunch of other car keys. "You'll have to try better than this Chris if you want to stop us!" Raphael bragged to Chris since he knew the host was probably watching everything.

Katniss looked around for Chris as Raphael spoked, not knowing that Chris could just be watching on camera. "Huh? Chris is here?" Katniss asked in confusion, grabbing the keys from the hook.

"No you dumb bimbo, he means that Chris is watching us!" Valerie rudely answered, taking the last set of poorly hidden keys and running past her. "Good luck even driving the go-kart! That is if you don't eat the steering wheel thinking it's a pretzel!" Valerie further insulted her, laughing as she ran to one of the karts in the parking lot.

Katniss was about to charge towards Valerie, but Noah grabbed her arm before she could take another step. "Not worth it Katniss. She's just trying to get to you." Noah warned, holding her arm until Katniss calmed down.

After around ten seconds of heavy breathing, Katniss eventually did calm down. "Thanks Noah. I'll try. She's still very mean." Katniss thanked him, before hurrying off to her go-kart in the parking lot.

Everyone else was in the booth now, practically ripping the place apart trying to find the keys before those that did found theirs. "This is a tiny room, these can't be that hidden, so why are they so tough to find?" Amber complained as she looked through a filing cabinet, having no luck with the key.

Noah opened up the computer next to the monitor on the counter, seeing if there was anything hidden in there. "Well they aren't that tough to find. They're hidden, not put in plain sight. Look with your head." Noah remarked as he pulled out a set of keys, before hurrying out the booth.

Max soon found his keys after Noah did, which were right beneath the table that the computer sat on. "He is right you fool! Look with your- OW!" Max began to mock Amber, but hit his head on the table as he got back up.

-Confessional: Amber-

"Ooooh, Max is really pushing it! I swear, one more sentence from that pipsqueak and I'm drop kicking him! I can see why Valerie hates him so much!"

-End Confessional-

Amber continued to search the filing cabinet thoroughly, still believing that there was a key hidden in it. Wolfy was taking a similar approach, looking through a large lunchbox to try and find a key. "If you find a key, let me have it." Alex told her, walking up and standing next to her.

Wolfy turned to look at him, unsure as to what the point of that would be. "Why would I do that? I know we buddy-buddy in the vote, but why would I give you my key?" Wolfy asked, setting the contents of the lunchbox aside.

Alex crossed his arms, annoyed that Wolfy even questioned him. "You're not at any risk at all, and Noah is gunning for me since I figured out his plan." Alex lied, which caught her interest, as well as Amber's who was right near them.

"His plan? What do you mean?" Wolfy asked, now curious and dropping her search for the moment.

Alex smirked as she stopped searching, already having another lie prepared. "Well Amber already saw this, but Noah has been spreading around lies to make others vote for me. He tried it back in Mexico, and he's already starting to do it again. After me, he's going for Valerie, since Katniss wants her gone. Those two are going to take over the game practically if we don't do anything about it. Marty and Tristan are going to be voting for Valerie because of his lies, so we need to turn the tables on him before it's too late." Alex explained, which now made Amber worry even more.

"Valerie!? No way! I'll try to talk her into voting for Noah instead of Katniss, but who else would we be able to trust? I feel like everyone is out to get us at this point." Amber asked nervously, looking around the booth to see if there was anyone else they could ask, but it was just Marty and Tristan besides them.

Alex shrugged, now reaching into the lunchbox and pulling out a key that was underneath a juice pouch. "I'm not sure, but we'll have to act fast. I'll try and win immunity, but we'll need to make sure that Noah doesn't at the very least." Alex told them, before running out of the booth and to the parking lot.

-Confessional: Wolfy-

"Alex is really good at coming up with ways to get us out of sticky situations! First he managed to get me and him through the Sting Rays despite the alliance, now he's stopping Noah before he can even start messing with the game! Ooh, do you think me and him could end up in the final two together?"

-End Confessional-

Marty and Tristan were searching through the booth together, but neither of them were having much luck with finding a key. "Seen any good movies lately bro?" Tristan asked him, looking inside a storage closet.

"We've been stuck on this ship for weeks, we haven't seen any movies period. Just reruns of Total Drama." Marty reminded him, looking in the lower part of the closet while Tristan checked the top.

It took a second for it to hit Tristan, but he facepalmed as soon as he realized how dumb his questions. "Oh yeah, my bad. It's just one of those questions you ask when you've got nothing better to say you know?" Tristan chuckled at his mistake, rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah. I get it." Marty replied bluntly, not finding it that funny like Tristan did. Although his meh mood was quickly lifted as he found a key inside a bucket holding a mop. "Oh I got one! See you in the race!" Marty exclaimed, before hurrying out of the booth.

It didn't take long for Tristan to find one right after Marty, sitting next to a box of pencils. "Oh sweet! Right behind you dude!" Tristan called out to Marty as he ran out behind him and towards the parking lot.

-Confessional: Marty-

"With Alex trying to focus more on the game and everyone else just being a lot more serious, Tristan honestly feels like the closest to a friend I have left in the game. He's just a friendly dude. I just hope he doesn't get unfairly eliminated like all the others."

-End Confessional-

Out on the road, Raphael was currently driving his go-kart along the coast, sticking to the path marked by blue signs with Chris's face on them. "As long as the others don't catch up to me, then I'd say that I have this race in the bag!" Raphael said, filled with determination to finally win a challenge for himself.

Things weren't going to be that easy though, as Valerie came around a corner of the cliff that he had just passed, soon followed by Katniss. "Hey cadet! Time for you to be dismissed!" Valerie shouted, slowly creeping up and closing the gap between them.

Their karts ran over a yellow panel on the road, and the screens on their karts soon displayed a roulette of cartoon items. "Huh? What are these?" Raphael asked himself as he wasn't sure what they did.

Just as his roulette stopped on a banana, a comically large green turtle shell was sent right at him from Valerie, making his kart spin out. "You ever played any video games before military boy!? This'll be a piece of cake!" Valerie taunted him as she drove past him.

Her victorious moment was short lived though, as Katniss boosted past her using the mushroom item that she had gotten. "Yeah! Piece of cake!" Katniss taunted Valerie, copying her taunt.

Valerie slammed a fist on her steering wheel as she was passed, continuing to drive to make sure she didn't lose Katniss. "You aren't getting away either! Amazed you can even steer that thing!" Valerie insulted her in an attempt to throw her off.

Katniss stuck to what Noah had told her though and ignored her now, just focusing on driving as she made another turn. They were following the outline of the cliffs basically, since Chris wasn't able to get legal approval to race right through a tourist city. Valerie was practically fuming now that she had been ignored, now determined to put Katniss in her place.

Raphael was able to start his kart again after five seconds, but that was already a crucial amount of time lost. "They aren't taking me out that easily! This soldier is a fighter!" Raphael declared, driving after them.

Noah and Max soon reached the turn that the others had just came around, driving over the yellow item panel. It immediately struck fear in Noah as the roulette started, realizing what this was. "Oh crap, Chris really went all out with the immersion on this one..." Noah muttered, immediately using his item as soon as it stopped on a bomb.

The bomb was dropped behind his kart, and Max had no time to react as he drove straight into it. "GAAAAH! YOU HEATHEN!" Max yelled at Noah as his kart was blasted up, before landing on the ground with a loud thud. Nothing else in the area was affected by the bomb however, it seemed only the karts were affected by these items.

Noah let out a sigh of relief as Max was off his tail for now, a lot more focused on the race now. He was mostly just concerned over his own safety rather than winning still, since these items seemed like they could do major damage.

-Confessional: Noah-

"Chris managed to get the budget for this challenge but not the rights? He really does prioritze our pain."

-End Confessional-

Alex was driving away from the parking lot on the road, just satisfied with himself that he had secured some votes. "Hey Alex! Hate to break it you dude, but we gotta pass you up!" Tristan called to him, as he and Marty weren't very far behind him.

Alex rolled his eyes, looking behind him for a moment. "You're already behind me, and we're in an alliance anyway! Just cool your jets man." Alex told him, before turning the corner around the cliff and leaving their sights for just a moment.

Marty and Tristan both had a small feeling now that the race was probably out of their grasp after Alex's comment, since they were so far behind. "Oh shoot. We took a while to find our key, plus Harold and Sam are probably going to come after us soon." Marty said, sinking in his seat slightly.

Tristan shook his head, keeping his foot all the way down on the gas. "No way bro! This is McLean Kart! If it's anything like [Redacted by Producers] Kart, then we should be getting items that will help us win right?" Tristan replied more optimistically, always believing in a comeback.

Just as they drove over the yellow item panels, they passed up Max who was still a bit shaken up by the blast and covered in soot. The roulettes started up, and both of them got just what they needed to catch up. Marty got three mushrooms, while Tristan got what looked like a bullet with an angry face on it. "Real original Chris." Tristan remarked, seeing the blatant rip-off right in front of him.

Tristan pushed the button on his kart next to the roulette and his kart rocketed forward on it's own, controlling itself as well and following the path at a much faster speed than the karts normally did. "Woah! This is pretty wicked!" Tristan raised his hands like it was a roller coaster ride, making sure to grab the first flag as he zoomed by it.

Marty watched with amazement as Tristan sped off, pushing his button and getting the boost of one mushroom. He nearly crashed from the sudden boost, but he was able to turn and avoid going straight forward into the cliff. "Geez, why can't these things just always go this fast? That'd make this a whole lot quicker." Marty pondered as his kart slowed right back to normal speed.

-Confessional: Max-

"When I'm done with this show, Chris will pay for his actions! PAY! No one crossed evil such as I and gets away with it!"

-End Confessional-

Back in the booth, Amber and Wolfy were still trying to find their keys when Chris walked inside. "Ladies, your time to find the keys is now up! So you're both out of the challenge!" Chris announced, shocking them both.

"That's no fair! We could still catch up!" Wolfy protested, marching up towards Chris while Amber crossed her arms and nodded in agreement.

Chris took a few steps back and pointed to the parking lot, where Harold and Sam had now gotten in their go-kart and took off after the other contestants. "Well we had to send them out, and it would be pretty much impossible for you two to win. So just head back to the ship and wait for the others to finish!" Chris told them, walking off and laughing.

Amber kicked the wall of the booth, holding her foot afterwards in mild pain. "Well that blows! I guess we'll just have to hope things go alright for Alex. We're not in any danger, so we're fine hopefully." Amber said, then walking out of the booth.

Wolfy reluctantly followed her, still a bit sad that they weren't able to find a key. "I guess so. I'm just worried that Noah might win. I always thought he was a decent guy, but you never know what to expect with past contestants. They've got like, tons of experience." Wolfy let out a sigh, both disappointed in herself and Noah.

In the race itself, Noah had now caught up to Raphael, having two flags now. They had driven about a mile now, and were reaching the more tree-covered wild section of the island. Raphael looked in his mirror and saw Noah, but he wasn't thinking of giving him as easy of a chance as last time to beat him in the challenge. "You may have beaten me once Noah, but not again!" Raphael shouted at him, briefly turning around in his seat.

Noah just continued to drive, since there wasn't much he could do to really show Raphael up or make him look wrong without an item. "We'll see about that. Don't load your gun with air." Noah warned him, since neither had an item. Raphael's words didn't have much weight behind them because of that.

Katniss and Valerie were just ahead of them, driving on the path through the jungle now, being a much thinner pathway than before that was barely two go-karts wide. "Give up Valerie, you lose!" Katniss taunted her rival, reaching over and grabbing one of the flags attached to a tree.

Valerie grabbed her third flag as well, now making the race now one big home stretch. "The race ain't over yet! You're going to crash by the end and I'll win! Just you see!" Valerie snapped back, getting further angered by Valerie teasing her.

Katniss ended up crashing sooner as expected though, as she drove over a banana that somehow made her kart spin out. "What!? My kart isn't working!" Katniss yelled as she tried to steer, but it wasn't doing anything.

"That's karma for taunting me! See you at the finish line!" Valerie laughed as she passed by, soon followed by Raphael and Noah. Katniss regained control of her kart after a few seconds, but it still put her far behind where she wanted to be.

-Confessional: Katniss-

"Valerie is super mean! Like really mean! She's going in the cannon tonight! Even if she wins, I an still voting for her!"

-Confessional: Valerie-

"Katniss is a hopeless case. She thinks she has the upper hand sometimes, but wham! Reality hits her. That girl needs to learn a thing or two before she can run her mouth like that and get off scot free."

-End Confessionals-

Marty and Tristan had just turned another corner and grabbed their second flags hanging on the cliffside, still feeling optimistic about the race. Of course, now was when Harold and Sam came around the corner as well. "So long uhh... so long happy Marty!" Sam shouted as he pushed a button on the kart and launched a red turtle shell right towards Marty's kart.

The shell hit him and Marty lost control over his kart as it spun out. "That's not what the original phrase is, gosh! It's bye bye in the Japanese version!" Harold corrected Sam, pushing the same button and launching yet another red turtle shell at Tristan instead.

The two boys spun out and out of the way for Harold and Sam to speed past them, since their kart travelled at a much faster speed than theirs. "Dude, those guys are basically cheating! Why can't our karts go that fast!?" Tristan complained as he started his kart back up and started driving again.

Marty shrugged, very bothered by the sudden attack. "Chris probably gave them a better kart just to mess with everyone. I don't think we have much of a shot anymore." Marty said with a sigh, losing hope as Sam and Harold quickly went out of their sight as they entered the jungle.

"Don't say that man, we still got this! We get better items in the back anyway, so we can catch up!" Tristan reassured Marty, still driving as if there was a chance for them to win the race.

Marty felt a little better, knowing that the items could give them an edge, but doubts still quickly came up. "But Harold and Sam have infinite good items though. How would we even get past them?" Marty asked, driving right behind Tristan now.

Before Tristan could answer, they heard Alex yell off in the distance, and even Tristan now had his doubts. "Oh yeah, this ain't looking too good dude." Tristan replied, his confidence gone.

"You don't say." Marty remarked quickly, since Tristan finally realized the obvious part of their situation.

-Confessional: Marty-

"On top of Tristan just being a bro, he's also not really the sharpest tool in the shed either. I guess that makes him easy to get along with?"

-End Confessional-

Valerie was right in front of Katniss as they exited the jungle, both of them holding all three of their flags. Noah and Raphael were right behind Katniss making the race between the four of them extremely close. "I'm gonna win! You can't rob me twice Chris!" Valerie cheered for herself as they drove back onto the beach, with the finish line just another half mile away, only one more turn around the corner of a cliff remaining.

Raphael bumped his kart into Katniss and Noah's trying to get past them, but it wasn't enough for either of them to crash. "You're one to talk about being robbed! I'm coming right for you next!" Raphael called to her, but his threat was short-lived as Harold and Sam now zoomed up behind them.

Their kart was flashing all the colors of the rainbow and an obnoxious theme song was playing from it as they sped right up to Raphael and crashed into him. "You're all about to be McLean Karted!" Sam laughed as Raphael spun out, falling behind them.

It took a while for Raphael to gain control of his kart again, and by the time he did, the others were well ahead. "Ugh... robbed again. They are fierce competition, I'll give them that." Raphael said, trying to stay positive despite his loss.

Valerie, Noah, and Katniss all drove over the last yellow item panel before making the final turn, the three of them eagerly watching their roulettes to see what they would get. Valerie's roulette stopped on a mushroom, which she used instantly to boost herself forward. "Good luck catching up suckers!" Valerie held an L on her forehead for a moment as she boosted far ahead of them, drawing closer to the finish line.

Noah's roulette stopped on a red turtle shell, making a smirk form on his face. "I wouldn't count on it. You can dish it, but you can't take it." Noah remarked as he pushed the button and sent the shell right at her.

Valerie ended up being hit by the shell and spun out, her kart veering off the path and onto the sand. Noah and Katniss quickly passed by, with Katniss sticking her tongue out at her as she dropped a bomb behind. "Thanks for the luck!" Katniss thanked her sarcastically, giggling afterwards.

"Good one. You're finally getting sarcasm down." Noah complimented her as they soon crossed the finish line where Chris was waiting for them. Sam and Harold soon passed next, somehow unaffected by the bomb Katniss left behind. Likely due to their kart again.

Chris walked up to the two as they got out of their karts, a grin on his face. "Well Noah, Katniss, that was quite the race you two went through! I'd say you two won, but Yvette beat you both here a while ago!" Chris told them, laughing as he pointed over to the nerd who was just sitting in her kart messing with the screen.

Noah and Katniss were shocked to see her, instantly killing their victorious moment. "How did she get here so fast? Katniss got her key immediately." Noah asked, remembering the first three that grabbed their keys.

Yvette got out of her kart when they asked, walking over to them and adjusting her glasses. "There is a drift button on your karts, drifting gives you a small speed boost with each turn. With that and my head start, the conundrum of winning the race was solved." Yvette answered, which just confused Katniss as always with her big words.

"Basically, she was ahead of us the whole time, just very far ahead." Noah explained to Katniss, who then nodded in understanding.

Raphael and Valerie crossed the finish line next, soon followed by Alex, and then Marty and Tristan. Another three minutes passed before Max arrived, all of them just in a bitter mood now that the tight race was all for nothing. Valerie was angrier than all of them just for losing to Katniss though, but she held herself back since everyone was here. "Alright everyone, Yvette won invincibility for her clear win in today's race, so the rest of you are up for grabs! Although I think I already know who will be on the chopping block this time. I see everything after all!" Chris told them all as the cruise ship was driven over to the shore by Chef, where Amber and Wolfy were waiting for them aboard.

Alex was glad to hear that Yvette had won invincibility, but he walked over to Max as everyone started to walk towards the ship to go vote. "Hey Max, we need to talk about something important. There is a major threat to your evil plan..." Alex began to talk to him, which instantly got Max's attention.

-Confessional: Marty-

"I'm not sure who to vote for... Noah and I have gotten along well, and Valerie is super rude. But Alex is probably voting for him, but I also don't want to vote for Noah. What to do..."

-Confessional: Valerie-

"Amber said that Noah has been the one that's helping Katniss out, so I'll be taking care of him tonight! Katniss will be easy pickings once he's not there to cover for her like in today's challenge!"

-Confessional: Wolfy-

"You leave us no choice! We really don't need another Heather in the game, or whatever kind of liar you are!"

-End Confessionals-

Later that night, everyone had gathered on the benches in front of the bonfire, with six in the back row and five in the front. In the back was Max, Yvette, Amber, Valerie, Wolfy, and Alex from left to right. In the front was Marty, Tristan, Noah, Katniss, and Raphael. Chris brought out a tray of ten marshmallows, looking at the players with a smile as plenty of tension brewed between them. "So, lucky for you guys, Amber's lawyers contacted the show and we can't give you guys the toxic marshmallows. Something something about endangering minors with exposure to toxic radiation. Basically, we're back to the regular marshmallows!" Chris told them all, to which there was a collective sigh of relief.

Chris grabbed the first marshmallow from the plate and tossed it to Yvette, who quickly caught it and popped it in her mouth. "Yvette won immunity, so she's safe from elimination already. The rest of you, it's fair game. If you don't get a marshmallow, then it's straight to the Cannon of Shame for you! You all know the drill by now. Marshmallows also go to..."

"Amber."

"Marty."

"Wolfy."

"Raphael."

"Tristan."

"Katniss."

"Alex."

"and Max."

After Chris tossed the 9th marshmallow to Max, the remaining two without a marshmallow looked at each other with mixed reactions. Noah realized how careless he had been and now looked nervous for once, briefly looking at Alex was smirking at him evilly. Valerie had a smug expression on her face, just waiting for her marshmallow. "Noah, here you are again in the bottom two for like the third time a row. Don't know what you're doing wrong, but here you are again. Valerie, you've been a pain in the keister for pretty much everyone here except Amber. Anything you wanna say to that?" Chris looked to Valerie, who wasn't phased by his insult.

Valerie held one hand out, just waiting for her marshmallow. "It ain't my fault they can't handle me telling it like it is. I already know they aren't stupid enough to vote me out though. So just give me my marshmallow!" Valerie demanded, but Chris just took the marshmallow from his plate and raised it up, letting the tension continue to simmer between the bottom two. Well, just Noah's increasing worry in this case.

Chef then walked out with the ballots, handing them over to Chris. "For fun today, we'll be doing this Nevada style and reading off your votes one at a time! Just to draw out the drama! We'll go in alphabetical order obviously, since we can't be bothered to shuffle these." Chris said, smirking as he set the marshmallow down on the podium and opened up the ballot on top. "Let's see what we've got here..."

"One vote for Noah."

"Another vote for Noah."

"One vote for Valerie! That's two votes for Noah, one vote for Valerie!"

Chris's slow and drawn out reading of these votes wasn't helping Noah keep his normal calm composure, especially since it started out right away with two votes against him. "Can you hurry this up?" Noah asked him, crossing his arms.

Chris of course didn't listen to him, just opening up the next ballot. "Another vote for Valerie! That's two to two!"

"Here is a vote for Noah, things aren't looking too good for him!"

"Three votes for Valerie, things are all tied up!"

"Four votes for Valerie, now Noah pulls into the lead for safety!"

"Yet another vote for Valerie! It's five to three, will Valerie be cannon food after all?"

"We've got a vote for Noah now, so maybe not all hope is lost!"

"Ooh, another Noah vote! That ties it all up at five to five! It all comes down to this last vote!" Chris announced, rubbing his hands together on the last ballot before he opened it. Now Valerie looked a bit nervous as well, both of them on the edge of their seats figuratively.

Almost everyone now anxiously waited for Chris to open up the final ballot and announce who was going in the cannon, with some like Amber and Katniss looking even more worried than those that were actually up for elimination. Chris opened up the ballot, smirking as he saw the name. "The final vote goes to...

...Max! It's a tie!"

Noah and Valerie both stood up in their seats after hearing the result, now wondering what would happen. Katniss on the other hand laughed, shaking a fist at Valerie. "Aha! You're going to go down! Noah won a tiebreaker once, and he'll do it again!" Katniss taunted her, bringing some hope to Noah.

Chris shook his head and looked at his watch, before just taking the marshmallow on the podium and eating it himself. "Nope! To save some time, why don't you both go! That'll make everyone happy I think." Chris responded, to which Chef then tossed both of them parachutes.

"What!? Why both!? You can't just do that on the spot!" Amber protested, furious that Valerie was being eliminated.

Chris just chuckled and shrugged. "It's my show, I do what I want. Also we've only got the budget for 26 episodes, so this was going to have to happen eventually. This just makes it a whole lot easier!" Chris told her, now walking away to head to his quarters. "You've got this handled Chef, see you in the captain's room! The foamy thing on the coffee maker works again, so you bet we're gonna use the heck out of that!"

Katniss looked devastated that Noah was leaving, hugging him tightly. "Oh I'll miss you! I'll win for both of us! Thanks for everything!" Katniss cried as she hugged him tighter, barely giving him any room to breathe.

"Ease... on the hugs... please." Noah gasped for air, so Katniss let him go, sheepishly rubbing the back of her head afterwards.

Amber gave Valerie a quick hug as well. "Don't worry, Noah is gone at least, so I'll be sure to win for the both of us. You were a great friend. No matter what the others said about you. Plus, I'm sure my lawyers will be able to fight this double elimination and earn some compensation for you." Amber assured Valerie, a smile on her face as she spoke.

Valerie elbowed her after that, laughing at her friend's tendency to get the law involved. "Don't worry about it. I guess I brought this on myself anyway. I'll be rooting for you though, you're on your own now!" Valerie said, giving her one last thumbs up before following Chef with Noah to go to the Cannon of Shame.

The two of them were loaded into the cannon quickly, having very little room to actually move. "Remember Katniss, watch for snakes." Noah warned Katniss about Alex, causing the schemer to smirk at the warning, knowing it was about him.

Chef pressed the button Chris normally did, and the two of them were shot off into the distance far off from the ship. "Well that's it I guess. It's just us nine now." Marty said, looking at those around him on the benches.

Of course, pretty much no one was in the mood to talk after an elimination, so he didn't get a response as everyone got up from their seats and left to go to their rooms. "Good night dude." Tristan said as he got out of his seat and walked away.

-Confessional: Alex-

"I lost Valerie, but at least Noah is gone now. Valerie was expendable anyway, that temper wasn't going to get her much further anyway. Amber is probably a vengeful mess, so she'll do everything I say now that she saw I was 'right'. Same goes for Wolfy, but I don't know how much longer I can keep her in my grasp, since she's starting to think for herself. Oh well, I'll see what cards I have tomorrow."

Yup! Our first double elimination! Originally I was going to have Katniss and Valerie leave in this episode, but you all seem to be loving her development so far, so Noah had to bite the dust in her place. Noah was eliminated over one comment to Amber basically, but that just goes to show how petty Alex is I suppose. Valerie I'm sure surprised no one though, as Alex said, there wasn't really a way I could force her to stay much longer with her how she is. She did great with Amber though, and was fun to use with all her sassiness and attitude. Sort of like a new age LeShawna, but less restrained since her aim was more on the prize. I hope you all enjoyed the episode and have a great day as always! Please be sure to leave a review, the feedback helps greatly! See you all next time!

Let's-a-go to the reviews, yahoo!

Alexneushoorn: Well I hope you enjoyed Raphael getting a bit more attention in this episode. Although he still got robbed out of the challenge, but that's McLean Kart for ya. Geoff and Bridgette I think would be pretty chill hosts, and I might give them a whirl at their own season in the future. Although they won't be reserved for just hosts in these next few seasons. Brinley and Marty on the other hand definitely have a long way to go if they ever are going to be an actual couple, but that's a storyline for another season. Thanks for reviewing as always!

NightwolfGamer3: Oh I'm glad you like Geoff and Bridgette just as much as I do! They really play off each other well, I'd say they're only rivalled by Tom and Jen in couple goals, and that's just because their humor is great.

Attackin2: Well I was going to expand more on their plotline in this season, but the love triangle isn't going away with this season, so other plotlines took some priority. Marty, Summer, and Brinley I will confirm are going to be in the next season, so that storyline will pick right back up at the start of that season!

MatiasND aka 'a: Tristan is quite the hypocrite with his actions, but he and Marty are pretty close right now, so don't count on that happening any time soon. Sorry that one of your favorites had to go out this episode though.

Nobody245: That's the case with most guests, they're just called and arrive in advance usually. Yvette is just a genuine fanatic, and her excessive Max voting I think was a dead giveaway for how serious she is. It makes sense for you to dislike Valerie after everything going on with her and Katniss, but that's all been put to an end... for now. About the surviving Death Camp players, besides Mimi's cameo in place of her sister, none of them will likely be showing up. They've been trying to distance themselves from Total Drama entirely for obvious reasons.

Primione394: You are right about the next Aftermath, we've sure got some spicy interviews coming up. Alex is probably the main antagonist here, so I wouldn't count on him going out any time soon. At least you called Valerie going out, just about everyone was ready for that. Thanks for your continued to support, and don't worry about Brinley, since she'll be in the next season for another shot! How or why is still up in the air, so you'll have to just wait and see for that!

Fritz Electroscreech: Ack, sorry about Valerie and Noah going out. I hope you liked Valerie's run here, she was really fun to use whenever some extra spicyness or sass was needed for a scene. She'll get another chance too, so don't worry too much about her! Max is very annoying though, I think we all can agree there.

Peskybirb: Yeah, easy challenges are nice for getting some extra drama going since the challenge doesn't occupy too much of their time. Interesting choices for favorites though, I didn't think that many people would take a liking to Yvette. Thanks for reviewing!

Valerie's Audition Tape:

Valerie sits down on her bed as the camera comes on. "Hola! I'm Valerie Rodríguez, you can call me either Valerie or Val. I don't give a damn. I'd like to audition for Total Drama, it's because mi novia Brooke and I are big fans. Brooke loves to make fanfics of Gwen and Cody! If guys try to flirt with me, that'll be a waste of time. I'm not straight, no, nada, negative. That's the basic idea, I can't wait to see..." Valerie introduces herself, before being cut off as she gets covered in silly string and boys are heard giggling off screen. "ALEJANDRO AND ARMANDO, GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" she yells before running after identical twins, causing her breasts to bounce. "Ustedes pequeños demonios!" she yells as she knocks over the camera, cutting to black. "Stop stealing my Oreos!" she shouts before the tape ends and cuts to static.
