Chapter 10: "Faking It".
It is now December 24th, 2020, but because of Timmy's wish to make everyone else believe that it is now five years later, they believe that the year is 2025. Timmy is now standing next to Tootie inside his favorite restaurant.
"I still can't believe this, Tootie. Your sister asked out someone named Brett. And I think that she's faking it once again. I don't think she's really in love with him. And if she is in love with him, she loves me or some other guy more than Brett," Timmy says.
"Then why didn't Vicky tell you how she feels about you or that other guy?" Tootie asks.
"She said that she was feeling too scared," Timmy says.
"I remember being a little bit scared when I first told you that I love you," Tootie says.
"That's understandable. I just wish that there was a way for Vicky to not feel scared anymore," Timmy says.
Tootie ordered a cheeseburger, French fries, and a soda. Timmy ordered a cheeseburger, French fries, and a soda. "I guess we like the same kind of food," Timmy says.
"Yeah, Vicky likes to eat cheeseburgers and French fries too," Tootie says.
Tootie and Timmy pay for their own order, and then they wait for their food to finish cooking.
"Are you jealous of Brett?" Tootie asks.
"No," Timmy says.
"I know you want to become her boyfriend," Tootie says.
"After everything that she went through, I think she deserves to have a boyfriend who won't lie to her or pretend to love her like her ex-boyfriend did," Timmy says.
"Twerp," Ricky suddenly notices Timmy and Tootie.
"Why did he have to like my favorite restaurant, Tootie?" Timmy asks.
Tootie glares at Ricky. "You're not welcomed here, Ricky," Tootie says.
"You don't work here, Twerpette," Ricky says.
"Who does Vicky love?" Timmy asks.
"Definitely not me," Ricky says.
"Aw, is someone still bitter that she found out that you never loved her?" Timmy asks.
"All you love is money. You'll never love an actual girl," Tootie says.
Ricky quickly punches Tootie on her face, and then he punches Timmy on his face. An employee fearfully gives Ricky his food, and then Ricky leaves the restaurant. The same employee quickly walks towards Timmy and Tootie. "Are you two feeling okay?" She asks.
"I really hate that guy," Timmy says.
"He knows who Vicky loves, but he won't tell us who it is, and thank you. I'm going to feel alright. I just feel a little bit hurt right now," Tootie says.
"My name is Isabella," Isabella says.
"It's nice to meet you, Isabella! My name is Tootie, and this is my friend, Timmy Turner," Tootie says.
"I'm not trying to be nosy, but I was just wondering who Vicky is?" Isabella asks.
"Vicky is my older sister. She is the ex-girlfriend of that redhead guy who punched us. His name is Ricky, and he never loved Vicky," Tootie says.
"That's horrible. He wasn't nice. I'm glad you and Timmy aren't severely injured or anything like that," Isabella says.
"I'm used to get punched by him and Francis, the school bully. I'm twenty-years-old now, but they still punch me. I think that Ricky is surprisingly jealous of me because he seems to not want Vicky to kiss me. And I found out that Vicky is in love with someone who is a bit younger than her," Timmy says.
"And I take it that Vicky is a bit older than you?" Isabella asks.
"She is one year older than me," Timmy says.
"Just let me know if he gives you any more trouble," Isabella says. "And here are your orders," Isabella says, and then she hands Timmy's and Tootie's orders to them.
"Thank you, Isabella. I will do that," Timmy says.
"You're welcome, Timmy! I hope that you will have a merry Christmas!" Isabella says.
"Thank you! Merry Christmas to you too!" Timmy says.
"Merry Christmas, Isabella!" Tootie says.
"You're welcome. Merry Christmas to you too, Tootie. And thank you, Timmy," Isabella says.
"You're welcome, Isabella!" Timmy says.
"Thank you, Isabella!" Tootie says.
"You're welcome, Tootie!" Isabella says.
Timmy and Tootie walk towards a table, and then they set their food on the table. Timmy and Tootie start eating their cheeseburgers.
Trixie Tang walks into the restaurant with her friends Veronica, Tad, and Chad.
"Ugh, here comes Tad and Chad," Timmy says, and then he sighs. Timmy looks at Trixie, Veronica, Tad, and Chad, who are now ordering their food from the cashier.
Tad and Chad smirk when they see Timmy and Tootie. Tad and Chad walks towards Timmy and Tootie.
"Aw, are you on a date with your girlfriend? The only girl who is in love with you," Tad says.
"Tootie is not my girlfriend, Tad, and Trixie is in love with me," Timmy says.
"Yeah, right! Trixie Tang would never love you in return. Your life for her will always be unrequited," Tad says.
"Yeah, what he said. Trixie will only date guys who are popular," Chad says.
"She decided to change her mind about that, actually," Timmy says. "I'm her ex-boyfriend," Timmy says.
"You are not Trixie Tang's ex-boyfriend," Tad says.
"Actually, he is my ex-boyfriend. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you, Tad and Chad. A lot has been going on in my life lately," Trixie says.
She had just walked towards Tad and Chad, and she is holding their food. Veronica walks towards Trixie too.
"Then you're not popular anymore, Trixie," Tad says.
"You broke your own rule. Popular girls cannot date boys who are not popular, and Turner is not popular," Chad says.
"Please. A leader can realize when they made a mistake, and I made a mistake. Timmy's a great guy," Trixie says.
"Veronica?" Tad suddenly asks, turning to look at the blonde-haired girl. "You want to become the new most popular girl in the school?" Tad asks Veronica.
Veronica quickly feels excited, but she tries to act like she's not that interested in it. "Trixie can't be popular anymore, so since I'm next in line, I should become the new most popular girl in the school," Veronica says.
"No!" Trixie says.
Chad, Tad, and Veronica walk away from Trixie, and they sit down at a different table. "Mind if I join you?" Trixie asks, as she feels sad. Trixie looks at Timmy and Tootie.
"Sure. Maybe you can help us too," Timmy says.
"Help you with what, exactly?" Trixie asks, as she sits down next to Timmy.
Trixie sets her food on the table, and she starts eating her pepperoni pizza.
"Vicky has a secret love interest, and I think it might be me. But she might be dating someone named Brett that she knows of. She asked him to become her boyfriend last night," Timmy says.
"Well, what is her reason for not telling you how she might feel about you?" Trixie asks.
"She's feeling too scared to tell me, or this other guy, but I'm pretty sure that she meant me. She also said that she doesn't want to get rejected by him," Timmy says.
"Oh… I can understand where she's coming from. The very first boy that I fell in love with was Tad, and I was scared that he wouldn't love me in return," Trixie says.
"Ugh," Timmy says.
"I know that you don't like Tad, but I've seen a side of him that you haven't seen yet. He can be nice, sometimes," Trixie says.
"Can you talk to Vicky? She might open up to you," Timmy says.
Trixie finishes eating her pepperoni pizza. Timmy and Tootie have already finished eating their cheeseburgers, and they are now eating their French fries. "Oh, okay. I'll talk to her. What is her cell phone number?" Trixie asks.
Timmy grabs a small piece of paper, and a pen, and he writes down Vicky's cell phone number. Timmy gives the small piece of paper to Trixie, and she adds the cell phone number to her cell phone's contact list.
"Thank you, Timmy. Merry Christmas, by the way!" Trixie says.
"You're welcome! Thank you, Trixie!" Timmy says.
"You're welcome!" Trixie says.
"Merry Christmas to you too!" Timmy says.
"Thank you, Timmy!" Trixie says.
"You're welcome!" Timmy says.
Trixie calls Vicky's cell phone number.
"Hello?" Vicky asks.
"Vicky? This is Timmy's friend, Trixie Tang. May I talk to you right now?" Trixie asks.
"Uh, sure. What do you want to talk to me about?" Vicky asks.
"I heard that you might secretly love Timmy or someone else, and I want to talk to you about that," Trixie says.
"O-Oh, okay," Vicky says.
"I was ten-years-old when I first fell in love with a guy. He was my childhood friend, Tad, and I was too scared to tell him that I loved him, so we never became a couple. I don't want you to make the same mistake that I made," Trixie says.
"But he was a minor," Vicky says.
"Is he a minor right now?" Trixie asks.
"Well, no, he is twenty-years-old right now," Vicky says.
"Timmy Turner?" Trixie guesses.
"Uh, y-yes, that's who I love more than Ricky," Vicky says.
"So, what else is stopping you from telling him that you love him? He kissed you once or twice," Trixie says.
"Well, I'm just still scared," Vicky says quietly.
"I was scared too, and I never told Tad that I loved him. Is that what you want? You don't want you and Timmy to ever become a couple?" Trixie asks.
"It's too late. I'm dating Brett now," Vicky says.
"Do you really love him?" Trixie asks.
"Yes, I do. I'm not faking it like Ricky would do to me," Vicky says.
"Alright, well, congratulations on getting a new boyfriend who isn't Ricky, and I'll talk to you later, Vicky," Trixie says.
"Alright. 'Bye, Trixie," Vicky says.
"'Bye, Vicky," Trixie says, and then she ends the call.
"She has a new boyfriend now. Brett said yes to her, and it's you that she secretly loves, but she is still scared to tell you that," Trixie says.
"How can I make her feel comfortable with me?" Timmy asks.
"Does it really matter? You can't become her boyfriend, because she already has a boyfriend right now," Trixie says.
Timmy and Tootie finish eating their French fries.
"Could I become your girlfriend, Timmy?" Tootie asks.
"I still don't love you, Tootie. I'm sorry," Timmy says.
Trixie starts drinking her soda. Timmy and Tootie start drinking their own soda.
Vicky and Brett suddenly walk into the restaurant. Brett kisses Vicky on her lips, and then she kisses him back passionately.
Timmy looks at Vicky and Brett making out with each other, and he sighs deeply.
"I'm sorry, Timmy. I know it's hard, but you should just want Vicky to feel happiness, even if she's not dating you," Trixie says.
Vicky and Brett stop making out with each other, and then they start talking to the employee named Isabella.
"It is hard. I just hope that Brett honestly loves Vicky, and that he's not pretending to love her like Ricky did to her twice," Timmy says.
Brett and Vicky wait for their orders to finish cooking after they paid for their orders.
Timmy looks at Cosmo and Wanda who are disguised as his pens on his shirt.
"I wish to know Brett's feelings for Vicky," Timmy says.
"We'll be right back!" Cosmo says, and then he and Wanda use their wands to poof themselves into Brett's mind.
Timmy finishes drinking his soda. "Can I get a refill, Trixie?" Timmy asks.
"Oh, sure, sorry about that," Trixie says, and then she stands up. Trixie throws her trash into the trash can, and Timmy stands up and he walks towards the soda machine. Timmy refills his soda.
Trixie walks back to Tootie's and Timmy's table, and she sits down next to Tootie.
"Hi, Trixie. Merry Christmas!" Tootie says.
"Hi, Tootie! Merry Christmas to you too!" Trixie says.
"Thank you," Tootie says.
"Thank you. You're welcome," Trixie says.
"You're welcome! I'm sorry that you're not popular anymore. That wasn't very fair of them to replace you with Veronica like that," Tootie says.
"I know. They're so mean, even if my rule was that I couldn't date an unpopular guy," Trixie says.
Timmy looks at Vicky. "Uh, hi, Vicky," Timmy says.
"Hi, Timmy. How are you feeling right now?" Vicky asks.
"I'm, uh, good. I assume this is Brett?" Timmy asks.
"Oh, yes, this is Brett, my new boyfriend," Vicky says.
Brett looks at Timmy. "Oh, nice to meet you. My name is Brett," Brett says to Timmy.
"It's nice to meet you as well, Brett. And my name is Timmy," Timmy says.
"I, uh, hope that you will be happy with him, Vicky," Timmy says.
"Thank you! That's so nice of you to say that to me!" Vicky says, and she smiles at Timmy.
"You're welcome," Timmy says.
Isabella returns with their orders.
"Oh, thank you," Vicky says, and then she gives Brett his bag of food that he ordered.
"You're welcome!" Isabella says to Vicky.
Vicky holds the other bag, and then she sits down on a chair. Brett takes another look at Timmy. Brett smiles at Timmy, and then Brett walks towards Vicky's table, and he sits down across from her.
They set their bags of food on the table, and then they start eating their food.
Timmy looks at Isabella. "That was Vicky. The girl that I love," Timmy says.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. You never told her that you love her?" Isabella asks.
"Well, I did, but she's too scared to tell me that she loves me too," Timmy says.
"Oh, I've been there before. I was too afraid to tell my crush that I loved him, and he started dating my best friend who knew that I loved him. Ugh," Isabella says.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Timmy says.
"It still hurts me sometimes," Isabella says.
"Anyways, thank you for the food," Timmy says.
"You're welcome! I hope that you will have a good night tonight!" Isabella says.
"Thank you! Same to you too!" Timmy says.
Timmy walks back to where his table with Tootie and Trixie are.
Timmy sits across from Trixie, and then he starts drinking his soda.
"This Christmas is going to suck for Vicky. Our parents still don't know that she was innocent," Tootie says.
"We have to make sure that she has a good Christmas," Timmy says.
Timmy realizes that his fairy God-parents are still inside Brett's mind right now.
"Hm, they might be coming to see me later," Timmy says.
"Who?" Trixie asks.
"My, uh, second parents. Cosmo and Wanda," Timmy says.
"Oh, that's sweet of them to care about you. I hope that they give you some awesome Christmas presents!" Tootie says.
"Yeah, I hope so too," Timmy says.
"Did I ever tell you that tomorrow is also Vicky's birthday?" Tootie asks.
"No, I don't think I remember that," Timmy says.
"We should do something nice for Vicky tomorrow. It's Christmas Day AND her birthday tomorrow," Trixie says.
"And for what it's worth, Trixie, you are definitely popular to me," Timmy says, and he smiles at Trixie.
"Thank you!" Trixie says.
"You're welcome!" Timmy says.
"My birthday is on December 29th," Tootie says.
"I'll come up with a plan, for sure," Timmy says.
Timmy finishes drinking his soda. "Well, it's almost 9:00 P.M. right now. I have to go back home, and Vicky will be inside my house to watch over me since my parents still aren't home yet," Timmy says.
"I hope that your parents will come home tomorrow, Timmy," Tootie says.
"I hope so too," Timmy says.
"'Bye, Trixie," Timmy says.
"'Bye, Tootie," Timmy says.
Timmy throws his trash into the trash can, and then he walks out of the restaurant.
Cosmo and Wanda suddenly poof in front of Timmy.
"Well? What did you find out about him?" Timmy asks.
"He's only dating Vicky to make his ex-girlfriend Jade jealous," Wanda says.
"Then that's not true love," Timmy says.
"We don't really want to meddle this time, though. Let's just wait for this Jade person to confront Brett and Vicky," Wanda says.
Timmy sighs. "Fine. I guess that's a good idea," Timmy says.
"Especially since Brett isn't like Ricky. I mean, maybe a little bit. But he still isn't a gold-digger like Ricky was," Wanda says.
"I just want Vicky to feel happiness even if it's not with me, and she feels happy for now, but she'll find out that it's not true love soon enough," Timmy says.
Timmy walks towards his house.
Francis walks towards Timmy. "You want some punch, Turner?" Francis asks.
"No, I already had some soda, Francis," Timmy says.
"You misunderstood me, Turner," Francis says, and then he punches Timmy on the face.
Timmy quickly starts to feel angry, but then he quickly remembers that Francis isn't worth it.
"You're still too weak to fight me back, Turner," Francis says.
"I'm not weak!" Timmy says.
"Then prove it!" Francis says.
"You're not worth it, Francis," Timmy says.
Timmy arrives at his house, and then he unlocks the front door using his key. Francis punches Timmy a second time. Francis laughs at Timmy, and then Francis walks away from Timmy.
Timmy groans, and then he opens the front door. Timmy walks into his house, and he closes the front door. Timmy locks the front door, and then he walks towards his couch in the living room. He sits down on the couch, and then he turns on the T.V. He starts watching an action film that he hasn't seen before. Timmy waits for Vicky to finish her date with Brett. Timmy continues watching the action film for an hour, when the doorbell suddenly rings. Timmy stands up from the couch, and then he unlocks the front door. Timmy opens the front door, and he looks at Vicky.
"Hi, Vicky," Timmy says.
She has a smile on her face as she walks inside the house. "Hi, Timmy! Merry Christmas Eve!" Vicky says.
Vicky hugs Timmy, and he hugs her back.
"Thank you. Merry Christmas Eve to you too, Vicky. So, I guess that you had a good date with Brett?" Timmy asks.
"Yes, he's a great boyfriend," Vicky says.
Not really, Timmy thinks.
"That's great. I'm really happy for you!" Timmy says.
"Yeah, it feels so great for me to finally have a boyfriend who isn't pretending to love me," Vicky says.
"I don't know about that, Vicky," Timmy says.
"What makes you say that, Timmy?" Vicky asks him.
"I'm worried about you. I think that Brett might be pretending to love you like Ricky did to you," Timmy says.
"He's not pretending to love me, Timmy. Brett loves me, so you have nothing to worry about. I'll be fine. Trust me," Vicky says.
"I trust you, but I don't trust him," Timmy says.
"I don't want to fight with you on Christmas Eve, Timmy, so let's just drop it," Vicky says.
Timmy sighs. "Fine," He says.
Timmy closes the front door, and then he locks the front door. Timmy walks towards the couch, and he sits down on it again. Vicky walks towards the couch, and she sits down next to Timmy.
"Thanks for caring about me though. I know you mean well," Vicky says.
"You're welcome. And Tootie told me that it's your birthday tomorrow," Timmy says.
"Oh, she did? You don't have to give me anything, Timmy," Vicky says.
"Have to? I want to. There's a difference between those two words. You deserve to be treated with kindness, and I'm going to buy you a present," Timmy says.
"Well, o-okay, I guess I can't stop you from buying something for me. Thank you, Timmy," Vicky says.
"You're welcome. I will always care about you, Vicky," Timmy says.
Vicky rests her head on Timmy's shoulder. "Thank you for caring about me, Timmy. Not many people care about me. Not even my own parents," Vicky says.
"You're welcome. You said that you have more enemies than friends. That worries me too," Timmy says.
"Yeah, I meant Hailey Drew, McKenna Nicole Fisher, and all of those kids who didn't like my fake personality, which I couldn't blame them. If it were the other way around, I wouldn't like them either," Vicky says.
"That's understandable, but now you can be who you really are. You don't have to pretend to be someone that you're not anymore," Timmy says.
"Thank you, Timmy. I'll do that from now on. I hated Icky Vicky anyways," Vicky says.
"You're welcome, Vicky," Timmy says. He was tempted to kiss her, but he didn't want Vicky to be cheating on Brett. Timmy sighs instead, and he continues watching the action film.
"What are we watching right now anyways?" Vicky asks.
"An action film. It was made this year. I still haven't seen it yet," Timmy says.
"Oh, that's good. You can watch it now," Vicky says.
"Yeah, you know, I'm really happy that we're friends, Vicky," Timmy says.
"I'm really happy that we are friends too, Timmy," Vicky says.
He wasn't going to tell her that he knows that she secretly loves him. He doesn't want to make Vicky feel uncomfortable. Timmy increases the volume on the T.V., and they continue watching the action film.
"Good luck with Brett. I hope that he's the one for you," Timmy says.
"Oh, now you say that? After you told me that you think he's like Ricky?" Vicky asks.
"I know what I said, but I still want you to feel happiness with him," Timmy says.
"Thank you, Timmy. I do feel happy with him," Vicky says.
"You're welcome, Vicky," Timmy says.
He holds her hand.
"I don't think you should do that, Timmy. We're just friends, remember?" Vicky asks.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I still have feelings for you," Timmy says, and then he stops holding Vicky's hand.
"It's okay. I forgive you, Timmy," Vicky says.
Timmy and Vicky continue watching the film until it ended at 10:30 P.M.
"Alright, I'm going to sleep now, Vicky. Goodnight. I'll see you in the morning," Timmy says.
Timmy walks upstairs, and then he walks into his bedroom. Timmy closes the door, and then he takes out his Nintendo Switch. Timmy starts playing on his Nintendo Switch.
"I wish to have an ice cream cone, Wanda," Timmy says.
Wanda and Cosmo use their wands to grant Timmy's wish. An ice cream cone with Timmy's favorite ice cream flavor appears in his hands, and he starts eating his ice cream.
"Thank you, Wanda and Cosmo!" Timmy says.
"You're welcome, Timmy!" Cosmo says.
Timmy turns on the T.V. in his bedroom, and then he starts watching a second action film.
"Oh, good, I haven't seen this film yet either!" Timmy says, as he continues eating his ice cream.
Timmy sets his Nintendo Switch down, and then he stops playing on it.
Timmy finishes eating his ice cream, and then he eats the cone too.
"That was so delicious!" Timmy says.
Timmy continues watching the action film.
He stays awake until 12:00 A.M. when the action film ended. Timmy gets into his bed, and then he pulls the sheets on top of him. Timmy turns off the lights in his bedroom, and then he closes his eyes. Timmy starts sleeping. He has a dream about kissing Trixie, but he kisses Vicky when Trixie isn't with him. He still loves both girls, but he doesn't want to get hurt by Trixie a second time. Timmy opens his eyes. He couldn't sleep. Timmy stands up, and then he walks out of his bedroom. Timmy walks downstairs, and then he sits down on the couch. Timmy turns on the T.V., and then he stays awake. His parents arrived at 2:40 A.M., and they were surprised to see their son still awake.
"Timmy? Why are you still awake right now?" Timmy Turner's mother Susan Turner asks.
"Oh, I couldn't go to sleep. I'm sorry. I'm so glad that you're home now!" Timmy says, and then he stands up. He walks towards his mother, and he hugs her.
"I missed you so much, Mom! Merry Christmas!" Timmy says.
"Merry Christmas to you too, Timmy. We missed you so much too," Susan says.
Susan hugs her son back.
"Come on, try to go to sleep now," Timmy's mother Susan says.
"O-oh, okay. I'll try to go back to bed now," Timmy says. Timmy walks towards the T.V., as his mother closes the front door. She locks the front door, and then she walks upstairs with her husband. Timmy turns off the T.V. He walks upstairs, and then he opens the door of the guest bedroom. He is surprised to see Vicky still awake right now too.
"Vicky? Are you okay?" Timmy asks.
"Oh, I couldn't sleep," Vicky says.
"I couldn't sleep either. Good luck getting some sleep tonight, Vicky," Timmy says.
"Thank you. You too, Timmy," Vicky says.
Timmy closes the door, and then he walks into his own bedroom. Timmy closes the door, and he lies down on his bed again. Timmy pulls the sheets on top of him, and then he closes his eyes a second time. "I guess I have a lot on my mind right now," Timmy mutters to himself.
Cosmo and Wanda poof into the fishbowl as goldfish, and then they go into the castle that they have.
Timmy finally manages to go to sleep this time, and he starts having nice dreams about himself and Vicky.
