Chapter 11

What a day…

Fallon's point of view.

I open up my heavy, sleepy eyes to sight on the insides of a car with its headlights shined onto the road in a bright blue colour.

Groaning, I turn to face my head into the backseat even more with my hand searching wherever it wants.

But things get weird when I feel something hard...

I jerk my head out of the backseat with my eyes wide, looking over to what's next to me. But what I manage to see is my hand accidentally on Felix's boner, and the boy next to Felix looking out of the window to the passing streetlights.

I squeak in fright, retracting my hand just as fast away from his erection.

The boy turns his head over to me with an eyebrow raised to my reaction, now hushing me as he points to the front seat where Sapphire is also fast asleep.

I point my hands frantically at my brother, and then to his boner indicating what just happened. The boy still just doesn't seem to care, as he rolls his eyes to my dramatic points, leaning his head on the window tiredly.

"Where are we?" I finally manage to get the courage to ask, ignoring the awkwardness that I happen to be creating.

The boy looks back over to me in question, his green eyes exhausted, but he still replies in a whisper.

"We're heading to your house." He confirms, while taking a short glimpse of my sleeping brother that's sprawled on the middle seat.

A smile can be seen on his lips just slightly from in the dark, the car's high beams' reflection helps provide some visual, along with the split-second passing streetlamps.

I look to the front seat in question, "Who's driving?" I drift off with confusion.

He lets off a sigh before saying, "One of my mates came and picked us up from the shops, since after surfing we all went shopping. But then it started getting dark to the point of no bus schedules, and all of us are 16 years old, so even if we did bring our car— we're all L platers. So, no passengers would be allowed."

I nod my head in understanding, but he continues to talk.

"My mate is 21-years-old, so he's a very responsible driver and is allowed passengers."

"Ah, I understand now." I assure, having him look at me oddly.

"So, what's going on between you and that chick?" The boy asks me with a sly tone, almost interrogating.

I look to the front seat where her whole body is being lit up every so often by the streetlights that we pass; a smile forming on my lips.

"She's been a best friend of mine for a while." I say with honesty, but he doesn't seem convinced.

"It's more than that." He states coldly. "You like her, and she clearly likes you. So, why are you holding it off? What IS making you hold it off?" He growls to the window, clearly having a tint of anger trying to show through.

I look to Sapphire and then to Felix; my heart beating faster when it lands on Felix.

He has a point...what IS making me hold this relationship with Sapphire off? I've kissed Felix and Sapphire before, but Felix and I lead to a dead end since we're brothers, AND mum and dad expect me to be the one to have kids in our family.

I let off a depressed sigh, having the boy look at me again.

"Make your decision." He bitterly voices. "Because Felix doesn't need the extra confusion in his life. I'm his best friend, just like how Sapphire is yours. The difference is—" He leans in over Felix's body to snarl at me. "I know WHAT I want." He states dominantly, moving his body back into its original position, acting like nothing happened.

My heart thumps against my chest heavily to his threatening behaviour.

Far out...Felix sure found himself a man...

"Is it a left turn, Brian?" The driver questions, his tone as calm as ever; ignoring everything he just heard.

Apparently the boy's name is Brian.

He clenches onto his thigh tightly, voicing professionally, "Yes, it is. Thanks, by the way Blake."

The driver has a grin showing from the corner of his mouth, his midnight hair shining from the reflection of the eerie lights.

"Anytime, Brian. What are bro's for?" He jokingly says, with his brown eyes shining their hazelnut perfection from in the reflection of his blue high beam lights.

I gulp to how stunning he looks, especially when he makes a smooth left turn at the intersection.

Felix's body flops onto Brian from on the seat, his head a bit too close to Brian's bulge.

Brian's face flushes a ruby red as he ever so carefully moves Felix's head away from his penis, and his body back into a comfortable position on the chair.

A smile tugs at my lips to how gentle Brian is with my brother, but it's wiped away all the same when the thought of someone else being Felix's comes to mind.

Can I really get over Felix? I mean like— we'll always be together as brothers, right?

We're inseparable..

Right?

"We're here." Blake informs from in the front, his raven hair all short and scruffy.

I stare out of my car window which is to the right, glimpsing at Felix's and my rich home that's styled with red, smooth concrete. A dark grey roof with elegant glass windows, and a charcoal wood decking that leads to the door.

The door is painted grey too, while our flower beds are filled with roses, lavender plants, and some pink flowers.

I unbuckle my seat belt, opening up the door, flashing a look behind me to Brian helping Felix wake up.

When Felix awakens, he looks around the car puzzled as to where we are— Brian informs him in a string of whispers on what's going on— which has Felix nodding submissively not long after.

"What about Brian?" Felix questions with puppy eyes looking straight through my soul.

"Can't he stay the night too? After all, the driver must be tired. So, doing another two trips to drop off Brian and the girl would be far too much for him." Felix itches the back of his head nervously before continuing.

"He could sleep in my room, and the chick can sleep in yours."

Brian looks at me with questioning eyes, while Sapphire still remains asleep in the front.

I let off a deep breath, "Fine. But if I get in trouble for a boy sleeping with you, you better say that it was your idea and not mine." I remark with my arms crossed over my chest while standing on the pavement.

Felix nods his head in agreement, grabbing at our shopping bags and Brian's hand; dragging the bags out of the car to place on the pavement next to me, and dragging Brian to stand next to them.

My eye twitches slightly to what I just witnessed, but I shake the thoughts, walking around the front of the car to the passenger seat where Sapphire is.

I gently open the door, leaning my head next to Sapphire's ear to whisper softly, "Wake up, princess." Earning a small little drowsy yawn from her.

Her crystal blue eyes scan her surroundings with the focus of a lioness, and when they settle on me, she smiles.

"Guess I'm staying the night?" She drifts off with another cute yawn. I nod my head in reply, wrapping my arms around her legs and back to carry her in bridal style.

Her hands land on my chest ever so delicately as I carry her into the house, saying thanks to the driver before I did.

Felix of course opened the door with his keys for me since I had no spare hands.

I carried my little sweetheart all the way up the spiral stairs that then lead down the hallway to my room.

When I reached my room, I had Felix roll the Duma of my made bed downwards, so that I could tuck her in.

I whisper a "Goodnight" and "Thanks" to Felix who had Brian standing next to him.

He flashes me a thumbs up, before grabbing Brian's hand to drag him to his room.

I closed my bedroom door before tucking myself into the bed next to Sapphire— her instantly wrapping her arms around my waist— while I nuzzle my head into her neck.

What a day...
