Right then, I'm really sorry for taking this long, especially to the author 'ettorah', who I told I would continue this. A lot of has been happening, and I finally got the chance to finish this chapter.

Hopefully I can finish this story this year. All the rights go to ettorah, and I thank you for sticking around.

Chapter 8

-TARDIS-

Everyone inside the TARDIS held on to whatever was near them, as the TARDIS lurched, and soon landed somewhere in the Crucible. There was silence for a moment, but they then heard the Dalek's talk outside.

"The TARDIS is secured."

"Doctor, you will step forth or die." The Supreme Dalek ordered.

The Doctor looked grim and said," Always something after I Regenerate. We'll have to go out. 'Cause they can get in here if they don't, and I'm not planning on Regenerating again."

"You told me nothing could get through those doors." Rose pointed out.

"You've got extrapolator shielding." Jack agreed.

The Doctor looked at them and said," Very true, but remember, when I was ears, the Daleks we fought were nothing but scavengers, and hybrids, and mad. What we got here, is a fully-fledged Dalek Empire at the height of its power, experts of fighting and cracking open TARDises as if they were eggs. So they can do anything. Right now, that wooden door is just wood."

Jenny gulped a little, and was about to say something, but noticed Donna, who had a faraway look, or she seemed to be entranced by something. She walked over to her, and shook a little.

"Donna, are you alright?"

Donna blinked, got out of her trance, and said," Yeah, I'm fine."

Jenny nodded, and then looked at her dad, who gave all them an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry, there's nothing else we can do."

Jenny nodded, she would've thought he would have something. From the short time that she had known him, he seemed to have an answer for everything, and was smart enough to figure things out. But, she knew he was only human… or Time Lord. Considering they were a dead race or species, she had to rely on stories about them, or stories about her dad.

That used to be something she used to think about, during her first couple of years traveling through the Universe. She always wondered how she could live up to her dad, due to hearing a whole lot of stories about him, and what he had done for the greater good. But, she had realized she was her own person, and she wasn't her dad. So she had done things her way, but she'd always try to end things peacefully as best she could, or if push came to shove, then she would try to end it quickly.

"At least I found you after all this time." Jenny said with a small smile.

The Doctor smiled as well, chuckled and said," Same. And I can't believe that I got a new body, and I didn't get a chance to test it out. At least I know I have good fashion sense."

Rose bit back a retort, she cared for him deeply, and wanted to give her opinion, but, she didn't want to upset him. Things were already going wrong as it was.

"Surrender, Doctor, and face your Dalek Masters!"

"Crucible on Maximum alert!"

Rose gave a nervous laugh and said," Daleks!"

"Oh, God!" Jack said nervously as well.

"Well, we it's been good, hasn't it? All of us, all of it. Things we seen and done over the course of our travels through time and space." The Doctor said to everyone with a sad smile, and then walked over to Jenny.

He gave her hug, and she hugged him back.

"Just know, I'm proud, I may not know what you have since we last saw each other, but I knew you did great things."

Jenny nodded, and felt a swell of pride.

The Doctor sighed and said," Righty-o, let's not keep our esteemed hosts any longer. Thanks for not sticking around any longer, sandshoes." He said a little sarcastically the last part to his previous self.

He, Rose, and Jack walked towards the exit. With Jenny and Donna following a little further back

-Outside-

11 opened the TARDIS doors, and as soon as he got out, the Daleks started to chant.

"Daleks reign supreme. All hail the Daleks!" One of them started.

All the others in the vicinity chanted the same thing.

"Yeah, yeah, keep it up, let's get a move on already. What do you have in store for us?" 11 said a little impatiently, and tapped his foot.

Jack leaned over to Rose, and said," Probably one of his new quirks." And she couldn't help but agree.

-TARDIS-

Jenny was about to walk outside, but looked behind her, due to not hearing Donna's footsteps. She had the same faraway look she had before, and she then turned her head, and she looked like she was starting to look at something. Jenny was starting to get a little concerned.

"Jenny, Donna, what are you doing? You're no safer in there." Her dad called from outside.

Before Jenny could respond, the doors suddenly closed. Her hearts skipped a beat, and she immediately sprinted over to them, and tried to open them. Donna tried as well, and started to bang on the doors, and 11 did the same thing from outside.

"Dad!"

"Doctor! What have you done?" Donna asked.

"I don't know! I didn't do anything!" The Doctor called from outside.

Jenny tried again, and huffed when the doors still wouldn't open. She was forced to hear her dad talk to the Daleks, basically them accusing the other of doing it. And Jenny felt her blood run cold when she heard what was said next.

"Nevertheless, the TARDIS is a weapon and it will be destroyed!" She heard the Dalek said.

Immediately after it said that, Jenny and Donna had to hold on to something, due to the TARDIS rocked from outside. As if it was falling down from a great height, and she had the feeling that was the case.

-Crucible Main Room-

The 11th Doctor could only watch in horror, as the TARDIS fell down a shaft that appeared from under it.

"What are you doing? Bring it back this instant!" The Doctor said, as he felt his anger rise.

He walked up the Supreme Dalek, and said," What've you done? Where's it going?"

"The Crucible has a heart of a Z-Neutrino energy. The TARDIS will be deposited into the core.

The Doctor brushed his hand into his hair, as he realized what was going to happen.

"No, no, you took the defenses down! It'll be torn apart!"

"But Donna and Jenny are still in there!" Rose said.

"Let them go!" Jack ordered, even though he knew it was be lost on deaf ears.

The Supreme Dalek didn't listen to them and said," The females and the TARDIS will perish together. Observe!"

Everyone turned around, and The Doctor got closer to a holographic image showing the TARDIS in the center of the energy.

"The last child of Gallifrey is powerless!" The Supreme Dalek mocked.

He didn't want give them the satisfaction of him actually feeling powerless, all he cared about was hoping to keep his friend and daughter alive.

"Please, I'm begging you, I'll do anything! I'll even take their place? How about it, the old switcheroo?" He said, and did the hand motion to signify what he was implying.

'Huh, that's new.' He mused to himself, and then said aloud." Please, just them out of there!"

He could only watch in sorrow, and growing anger.

"You are connected to the TARDIS. Now feel it die!" The Supreme said.

"Total TARDIS destruction in 10 rels." A Dalek said.

Rose walked over to the Doctor, and she held out her hand, and held his in comfort, and he squeezed it. She couldn't imagine what he was going through, but she knew he needed someone to comfort, and give him support.

A Dalek started the countdown, as soon as it reached to '1', the TARDIS disappeared. The Doctor clenched his fists in sorrow. He had lost his friend… and his daughter the second time. He couldn't lose her again, he was feeling hopeful, like he did before.

"The TARDIS has been destroyed. Now, tell me, Doctor, what do you feel? Anger? Sorrow? Despair?" The Supreme Dalek asked in its version of a mocking tone.

"Yeah." The Doctor managed to ground out.

"Then if emotions are so important, surely we have enhanced you?" The Supreme Dalek continued.

Jack had heard enough, he had just watch a ship that he called a second home, and two people who was starting to call friends die. He turned around, and said," Yeah. Feel this."

He took out his revolver, and aimed it at the Supreme Dalek, and started to fire at it. The bullets merely bounced off it, but he didn't care, he just needed to take out some anger.

"Exterminate!" The Supreme said, and fired at Jack.

Jack yelled in pain, and fell to the ground dead. Rose looked on in horror, and went to check on him. The Doctor knew he would be alright, and he had a feeling that he was forming a plan. But he felt like something was bugging him, but he chalked it off quickly as residual Regeneration Energy.

He bent next to Rose and said," Rose, come here, leave him. They killed him." He said and comforted her.

"Escort them to the Vault. There's nothing we can do. They are the playthings of Davros now." The Supreme Dalek ordered and said.

As the Doctor was led to the Vault, he glanced back at Jack, who winked at him. He then turned back, and started to walk again.

All the while the feeling that he felt something was off, was still on his mind.
