A full year flew passed and several couples started.
Gray was starting to accept Juvia's advances and even reciprocated them on occasion. Erza had started dating Jellal. Levy made the first move on Gajeel, who immediately accepted. Elfman had somehow managed to get Evergreen's attention.
Mystogan, Jellal, Natsu, Gajeel, Erza, Gray, Wendy, and the two Exceeds handled Edolas before it became a problem.
All the Exceeds came back to Earthland again and Gajeel became friends with Panther Lily.
Mystogan decided come back to Earthland, his adopted "twin" brother, and his family. He made sure Edolas was in good hands and left with the Fairy Tail mages.
Everyone was shocked when Erza Knightwalker also chose to return with them after their Erza had defeated and knocked some sense into her.
She demanded to be Mystogan's guard, not that he needed it.
Even though he had initially found it irritating, he quickly warmed up to her, shaking his head at her fondly when she would go off about something.
The two Erzas were not like the two Jellals. At first, the two women simply didn't get along.
Scarlet was stern, confident, and could easily keep her guildmates in line. She also had an incredibly sweet and, sometimes, innocent side with a bit of mischief she'd learned from her adopted brothers.
Knightwalker seemed to have an overdeveloped sense of justice and a short fuse. She also tended to embarrass herself when apologizing, which embarrassed Scarlet to no end.
Scarlet had siblings, adopted siblings maybe, but Gray and Natsu were her brothers and Lucy was now her sister-in-law. She knew how to handle being a sister. Knightwalker didn't.
But she was trying. She wanted to be accepted by the guild, and possibly Scarlet. It was a struggle, but she finally managed to start atoning for her behavior in Edolas.
She started calling herself Ezra Knightwalker and Erza began introducing her as a long lost twin.
Being separated at birth made her sudden appearance easier to believe to anyone outside of Fairy Tail.
Jellal and Mystogan had shown up around the same time at a young age and had been together ever since. Everyone knew them both. No one knew Ezra.
When the time for the new S class trials came around, Natsu and Lucy joined the original group, except this time instead of Mest going along, Jellal, Mystogan, and Ezra had gone instead.
And now they really had a problem. Acnologia never showed but, for some reason, Fairy Sphere still activated in spite of having an uneventful day.
Seven years later, the spell released them.
Natsu had been greatly irritated that Acnologia hadn't shown and apologized to everyone. Even though he'd told them beforehand what was going to happen, he hadn't expected it to happen like this.
He contacted Zeref who was not surprised that Acnologia hadn't shown up. They hadn't been attacked by an evil force which had originally drawn him out.
No one they had talked to could find out why Fairy Sphere activated without someone using it.
Playing with time… sometimes there was no controlling an outcome.
The Grand Magic Games had been slightly different. Sabertooth was a much more accepting guild as their master the first time was never allowed to take over and were merely competitive.
The Twin Dragons had been dying to show off for their big brothers. Angel had found Yukino and they had both joined Sabertooth.
Eric and the other previous timeline members of Crime Sorcière had traveled a long time then had finally settled and joined Fairy Tail while they were on Tenrou.
The Etherious didn't exist so that fight never happened.
Natsu was getting restless. Being a man of action, he hated playing the waiting game. He wanted things done with so they could just live their lives. Patience was not one of his virtues.
Lucy smiled at his distracted state. He would fume for hours until he passed out from "thinking too much".
He still hadn't noticed. Being her mate, he should've known almost immediately.
She wasn't complaining. It was so rare to surprise him and she had everything planned out.
"We're going to play a game," she beckoned him to her.
"What game?"
"A couples' game," she spoke flirtatiously and wiggled her eyebrows at him. He couldn't resist laughing as joined her at the guild's bar.
"You made this up," he accused with a chuckle as he looked at the obviously handmade game.
"Of course!" she practically sang.
He wasn't concerned that she was angry with him as her light danced for him in complete happiness.
He rolled his eyes as he realized she was demanding his attention. He had been overly distracted lately. He knew she would pay him back for ignoring her; this was his punishment, and she was having fun at his expense.
Her scent normally called to him but today she was wearing something to block it as part of her game. He didn't like that part and grumbled profusely about it for the rest of the day.
She had hidden clues and puzzles all over town. Now she was hiding somewhere in their house and he had to finish the final puzzle in order to find her.
In a typical writer move, she'd created a word puzzle and little blocks with letters on them he could use. It had been easy, but he'd still groaned in annoyance begging loudly to be released from his punishment.
He guessed she was hiding in the spare bedroom but continued to finish it anyways to appease her.
He was down to the final clue. 'I'm hiding in our (blank)'s room.'
"Huh?"
He only had a few blocks left but there was only one word he could think of that they made.
He blinked in disbelief before a grin started forming. There was no way. He would have noticed.
He placed the letters where they belonged and leapt from the couch.
Lucy stood in the middle of the spare room, smiling brightly as she heard him jump up. He ran to the room as quickly as he could and threw the door open.
"Really?!"
She smiled again as her tears fell and nodded. She was radiant.
He immediately scooped her up in his arms and twirled them around the room. They laughed and exchanged "I love yous".
When he set her back down, she removed the collar that had prevented him from catching her scent too soon. He breathed deeply noting the change in her scent finally. She was further along than he'd thought. He really had been distracted!
He knelt to her stomach and listened. Sure enough, he could not only hear her own heartbeat, but a second one as well. He smiled at that.
"It's a girl."
**** Greetings Y'all! I hope y'all enjoyed this one. Just two more and we're done! I may have them up today, I should definitely have 20 up as I am working on it now. We shall see!
