For the next two weeks Sakura and Karin set a new routine for themselves, take on one C rank mission in the morning, work in the greenhouse for two hours then eat lunch before training for a couple hours with Haku and Nawaki.

In the midst of all that Sakura reached out to a few merchants that her parents had deals with as such the first person Sakura spoke to happened to be a man named Junichi Maki "Excuse me would Mr. Junichi happen to still be the owner" Sakura asked.

Pausing when she saw the stall that sold goods, prompting the others to do the same "Of course, and who would you be" the woman behind the stall smiled kindly at the young girl who looked like someone familiar.

And she didn't realize it until the girl said her name "Sakura Haruno and I'm trying to revive my parents business the Haruno Trading Company under a different name" Sakura introduced with her head held high.

The woman rushed off at that and came back with a man she vaguely remembered "Little Sakura Haruno I can't believe my eyes, I heard you died along with your parents over seven years ago" Junichi greeted.

Taking in the girl before him "Well if we want to be technical that Sakura Haruno did die, the Sakura that stands before you this day is different, she's no longer shy or insecure" Sakura quipped with a smile.

His lips twitched upwards in amusement "Right you are Sakura, so what can I do for you, it wouldn't be to much to ask if you plan on taking over your parents company would" Junichi inquired calmly, completely serious as well

Sakura inhaled quietly "Not exactly take over but revive it under the name Fragrant Blossom Trading Company, Karin-chan is gonna help me make the merchandise" Sakura explained carefully not wanting to confuse the man.

Junichi blinked in surprise "Guess you are your mother and fathers daughter after all, alright say I agree what would I be getting out of the deal to sell your goods and what am I even going to be selling in the first place" Junichi questioned.

Pleased that this meeting was going well "A twenty percent cut of all sales made and medical kits for both the civilian and shinobi variety, here's a sample that I made the other day" Sakura announced, pulling out a hand made medical pouch.

Filled with her bruise cream and flesh wound ointment, a couple rolls of bandages, three vials of antidote in liquid form to all common poisons, and hand made soldier pills, hence why she said it was for the shinobi variety as well.

"On top of things aren't you, very well, if those med kits of yours are popular and sell out for a week straight we have a deal Sakura, so when do you think you'll have enough made and what is the young lady over there that's your partner going to make" Junichi whistled.

Agreeing to the deal by adding a condition "Perfume and poison sprays Mr. Junichi and I believe Sakura-chan said she'd have enough herbs to make the rest by tomorrow" Karin answered, stepping forward to stand at Sakura's side.

Keeping her head raised confidently beneath his steel colored irises "Last question who is this girl to you Sakura, she's not a Haruno I know that for a fact yet you partnered with her to revive your parents company" Junichi demanded.

Eyeing Sakura again "True Karin's not a Haruno by blood but in my heart Karin is my sister and I know my Mom and Dad would approve wholeheartedly if they got to meet her so blood is irrelevant as long as our bond is true in our hearts and minds" Sakura admitted.

Unafraid to claim Karin as family in front of other people apparently "Good and I expect to have your merchandise day after tomorrow got that" Junichi nodded, pat both girls on the head and turned back into the building he lived in.

Which meant they could now carry on back to the house "You know I hadn't thought you were serious about all that business stuff" Nawaki commented, that just went to show him Sakura really was serious about reviving her parents old business under the new name she'd come up with.

"He's the first step and once I have a proper stock I'll approach the next vendor who likes to sell perfumes and the like" Sakura said with a smile on her face, if she was anything it was determined once she had her mind settled on something.

Karin swallowed quietly more than a little nervous "Think you could help me Sakura-chan, I don't know the first thing about making perfume, though the poison spray will be easy I have no idea what kind of bottles I should put them in" Karin requested sheepishly.

Receiving a kind smile in return as Sakura nodded then vanished into the kitchen to get started on dinner for the four of them "Allow me to help" Haku asked, knowing better than to leave all the work in the house to one person.

Sakura relented by moving over giving him space to work and soon supper was cooked and eaten, then like she'd been doing headed out back to tend her garden before coming back in to shower and head to bed afterwards.

And the next morning it was off to the tower "Just a couple d ranks today please" Sakura requested calmly, inwardly she was a ball of excitement not that she'd let herself display such immaturity in front of the Hokage.

Who arched a brow at her but handed over the requested missions, weeding someones garden and catching Tora again "Can we split them up, the missions will go faster that way" Karin asked hoping that Sakura was in an agreeable mood.

"Sure Karin-chan, Tora's on you, I'll weed the garden and we'll meet up here in say half an hour" Sakura glanced at the sky, Karin nodded and disappeared down the streets to catch the devil cat named Tora while she went to weed the garden.

Half an hour later they were back in front of the tower, both missions complete, and Tora growling like some kind of hell creature inside the pet carrier that had a barrier seal on it to prevent him from breaking out.

Then after reporting in to Hiruzen's surprise they headed for the greenhouse "Early aren't you, I know your hours aren't exactly set in stone just that you do two hours three days a week" Choza greeted that morning.

Since they showed up way ahead of their usual time "Yep we have plans for the day so I wanted to get missions and work here done so we do a couple hours of training after then stay at home for the rest of the day" Sakura explained.

Choza quirked a brow "Oh what kind of plans do you have well planned out for today that you would keep yourselves cooped up inside for hours when that's not what you usually do" Choza questioned.

Watching as Sakura tended the plants that had flourished under her care and even picked every single medicinal/herbal plant that she'd planted and grown "Reviving my parents old company and made a deal with a merchant yesterday so I have to have stock ready tomorrow" Sakura said.

"Interesting parents old company, Haruno…the Haruno Trading Company that was your parents" Choza frowned, slowly the pieces of the puzzle came together until he realized who Sakura Haruno really was.

Kizashi and Mebuki's daughter "Got it in one Akimichi-san though it's no longer going to be called that it's now the Fragrant Blossom Trading Company" Sakura nodded, sealing all her herbs away followed by planting more.

His gaze softened "They'd be proud of you Sakura-san, both of them for the person you've become and they'd also be glad to know that you aren't forsaking your roots and solely focusing on being a ninja" Choza declared suddenly.

And he caught her discretely wiping her eyes in response "Apparently there's a lot more than being a merchant in Sakura-chan's roots" Karin chimed in, feeling awkward and a little left out if she was being honest.

It was to bad that she would never get to meet the deceased couple who were very kind "Oh what does that mean exactly, that you have living family somewhere" Choza queried in a curious tone of voice.

As Sakura flitted among the rows of plants, watering them "I have an uncle in Tetsu no Kuni, he's a samurai but I don't remember my parents ever telling me who he was exactly just that we had family there" Sakura stated.

Glad for her eidetic memory "Since you know I'm assuming he's asked for Hokage-sama to arrange a meeting between the two of you correct" Choza quirked his brow again, sensing that this was a sensitive subject for the girl.

Who'd thought she was an orphan only to remember an uncle that she's never met before "Mhm we'll be going in about a week and five days after tomorrow, escorted by our unofficial sensei whoever he is" Karin admitted.

"Busy, busy like a little bee huh thanks for telling me ahead of time and the plants will be waiting for your return Sakura-san" Choza chuckled, finally meandering off, leaving them alone for the next hour.

Until it was time to get a couple hours of training in "Junichi-san came by the house, he said he got in contact with another merchant who travels and sells clothing if your interested in making your own line of brand clothing he's willing to make a deal with you" Haku informed.

Handing over the missive Junichi had left "Shouldn't be to hard considering I made those dresses for Karin-chan and I, so I'll tell him that tomorrow and get started afterwards on that afterwards to" Sakura shrugged as she bunched the missive up and stowed it away in her pouch.

"Are you sure your not taking on to much Onee-chan" Karin frowned, worried that Sakura was trying to work herself into the ground but got a soothing pat on the hand when Sakura glided past her to train for a while.

Left with no other choice she did the same "Geez I don't know why I'm surprised but you really should slow down" Choji skidded to a halt with Ino and Shikamaru on his heels right as Sakura punched one of Haku's ice mirrors.

Unfortunately it only cracked "Honestly you should know Sakura by now Choji, there's no telling her what to do when she'll do whatever she wants regardless" Ino rolled her eyes, marching forward now that they had Sakura's attention.

Then focused chakra into her hands "Ino might not be great with it yet but at least she can heal the fish now, Asuma-sensei refused to let her tend our wounds until you returned to give her the okay on it" Shikamaru announced.

When the blue turned to a muted green color "Show me" Sakura requested so Ino went to catch a fish then nearly gutted the thing and placed her hands against the open wound to heal it, and ever so slowly the gash knit closed.

Before releasing the fish and letting the chakra fade from her hands "Well done Ino I knew you could do it but I would advise practicing a couple more weeks on the fish" Sakura clapped, praising her friend.

Unbeknownst to them Tsume had finally caught a whiff of Sakura's scent for the first time since she'd been brought back to the village and immediately thought an intruder had infiltrated the Leaf Village so set off to find the interloper in her home with Kuromaru on her heels.

Dark irises narrowed into slits "Ready Kuromaru, you go for the one on the left, I'll get the one on the right" Tsume growled softly to her partner, then lunged while ignoring the little voice in her head that if Team Ten was interacting with the unknown brats then they weren't intruders.

Karin being the sensor that she was however sensed the attack and dodged the wildest looking woman she'd ever seen by a hair but it was Sakura who stood frozen for once as the huge dog attempted to pounce on her.

Fear crawled through her as his jaws opened and she let out the most blood curdling scream before fleeing into a nearby tree leaving everyone in stunned silence "What was that" Shikamaru turned to Karin who was eyeing Kiba's mother warily.

"She's faced down the demon brothers and Zabuza without a speck of fear yet a dog scares her how does that make sense" Haku frowned, glancing to the tree Sakura had hidden herself in and her fear was still felt.

Proving she was absolutely terrified of canines for some reason "Back in Cloud we had to chase and try to catch this huge greyhound named Shun, the last time we encountered him he tried to bite her and she's been scared of dogs ever since" Karin sighed.

Edging carefully towards the tree until she was caught by the back of her shirt "Come down here now brat, you four are coming with me to T&I" the wild woman growled, glaring at the other brats that weren't native to Leaf as far as she was aware.

Choji munched on chips nervously trying to work up the courage to speak "Uh Mrs. Tsume, Sakura and Karin are Leaf Shinobi, their wearing headbands, Haku's going through a trial period and Nawaki's gonna be put on Team Seven so why do they have to go to T&I" Choji asked.

Massively confused but pleased with himself for having the confidence to defend his friends for once "These brats are no Leaf Shinobi, this one just admitted that she's from Kumo" Tsume snarled and he flinched back at her harsh tone, while jerking Karin around.

Thankfully help came in the form of Kakashi "Release Karin-chan unless you want to bring the wrath of Hokage-sama down upon your head for treating her in such a manner" Kakashi ordered, giving the field a cursory glance and not spying Sakura.

Who was still hiding in the tree "Since when do you stick your neck out for outsiders Hatake" Tsume sneered at him while also wondering how the hell he found out so quickly that she was there on the training ground.

Kakashi shook his head "Sakura and Karin while being from Cloud are undoubtedly Leaf Shinobi, Nawaki is one of us and Haku will soon be as well so if you have a problem take it up with Hokage-sama" Kakashi repeated.

Tsume growled but did as ordered and stalked from the field, Kuromaru on her heels "You can come down now Sakura, the big ninken is gone" Nawaki called up into the tree, Kakashi's gaze swiveled upwards just as Sakura dropped out of the tree.

Her face was pale and she was trembling for the first time he'd ever seen "Good work on sending Amin to fetch me" Kakashi pat the rosette gently on the head who had made use of her weasel summons to find him and let him know what was going on.

After a few minutes Sakura managed to stop shaking "Are you going to continue training" Ino slammed into a second later, wrapping her arms tightly around her best friend for a moment then releasing her all in the same moment.

"I plan to Ino-chan, today's goal was to see how much I could crack Haku's ice mirror after all" Sakura informed, meeting Haku's doe irises and he nodded, recreating his jutsu at the same time, Ino backed out of range as Sakura clenched her hand into a fist then lunged.

Punching the thick wall of ice only for it to crack a little "Hey Ino, want to help me train, in fact Choji and Shikamaru can help me to" Karin piped in, also having a goal she wanted to meet that day on her training.

Choji looked excited at the idea while Shikamaru just seemed like he wanted to go too sleep but since his teammates were eager "Fine what a drag what did you have in mind for training" Shikamaru groaned.

Grudgingly relenting to their pleading looks while Kakashi headed over to Nawaki since the boy was going to be his student soon to help him train as well "Well first has Asuma-sensei taught you how to mask your presence yet" Karin inquired.

But got apologetic looks for her question "Why not have them practice sensing you out instead, if you can go without being found for the remaining time your going to be training they have to buy lunch for you today" Kakashi suggested from where he was instructing Nawaki.

Since everyone else already had their own things to worry about, Sakura stumbled and righted herself to his amusement "Go ahead Karin-chan it's always good to know where you are on some things and if you don't manage to evade his senses then that's okay" Sakura soothed.

When Karin shot her an indiscernible look to others that she made quick sense of, Kakashi cocked his brow at the girl just as she darted into the forest after giving Team Ten a quick run down of how they wanted to spread out their senses to sense her out.

A second later all sense of Karin vanished while Sakura resumed her punching on the ice mirror, "Did you know that she was quite adept at suppressing her chakra" Kakashi commented, more than a little surprised.

Because he couldn't feel Karin himself "It's less like suppressing her chakra and more like extinguishing it like a flame or at least that's how Karin-chan described it, but yes, I knew, it was one of the things that our sensei had her working on every spare minute" Sakura admitted.

"Can I ask why he would push her to practice the skill as much as he could" Kakashi inquired, wanting to learn more so he could stop feeling so damn guilty about not treating Sakura as he should have when she'd been his student, even his other students.

He'd just half-assed everything "Kusagakure is still after her Kakashi-sensei, Cee-sensei wanted Karin-chan to be able to protect herself from them even if that meant hiding, he made sure she was proficient at masking her presence and sensing out the enemy equally" Sakura said.

Imagining one of those bastards faces and punching the ice mirror a little harder than she had been in response "Not bad, you keep that up Sakura and probably in a few months you'll be able to completely shatter my crystal ice mirrors" Haku whistled.

Prompting a chuckle from Kakashi just as a exclamation of frustration came from the forest indicating Team Ten still had yet to find Karin, not that they would most likely but it was amusing none the less for Sakura apparently.

Reminding him of another question "So what did this Cee-sensei have you working on mainly" Kakashi questioned, having noticed how different the girls were from one another, they had their specialties yet they were in perfect sync of one another.

"Taijutsu and chakra control those were my things but Cee-sensei taught us many things together and had us on a strict day to day schedule that you would probably find insane" Sakura explained with a shrug.

Launching herself at the ice mirror again, questions asked Kakashi turned to Nawaki again and for the next hour and a half instructed the boy until Karin with Team Ten on her heels emerged from the forest "You won't be able to hide from me forever Karin" Ino vowed.

Obviously more than a little irritated she'd failed so badly at sensing "Don't take it to personally Ino I'm just really good at suppressing my chakra and scent" Karin smiled kindly, understanding the blondes frustration because Sakura use to get the same way.

"Guess we have to buy you lunch now how troublesome" Shikamaru grumbled, having thought he was a fair hand at being able to sense chakra but Karin had literally just proven him wrong by evading his senses.

With that Sakura and Haku stopped what they were doing as did Nawaki "Lunch yay" Nawaki clapped, a bit worn out himself and more than a little hungry as the seven of them since Kakashi had vanished in a poof of smoke trekked to Yakiniku Q for lunch.

It was fairly rare they ate out honestly "Just Karin-chan since the deal was for her, I'll pay for, Nawaki, Haku and I" Sakura declared when they crowded into a booth and she was sandwiched between the two boys in question.

Shikamaru shot her a grateful look in response "So are you going to the greenhouse after this" Choji asked when they had put in their order and were waiting patiently for it to arrive so that they could cook and eat it.

"Huh I thought you already did your two hours at the greenhouse before you came to the training grounds Sakura" Haku turned to Sakura with a frown who was scribbling something down on a piece of paper.

Though at his question she nodded "Yep so it'll be back to home for us Choji" Sakura answered and scribbled some more on the paper and as curious as everyone was they didn't ask, five minutes later they had their food.

And thirty minutes after that the group split up in different directions "Say Sakura, could I also be a partner in the business your reviving, I know I'm not family and you don't have to change the name any I just want to be able to bring in funds that I worked for" Haku asked.

Upon arriving back at the house and Sakura had hurried into the kitchen to start preparing the herbs to turn into her ointments while also making the food pills "Okay, what were you wanting to make for the business Haku" Sakura questioned calmly.

"These, I've been practicing by myself and once I'm good at it I'll be adding more to the list, these are durable and won't break as easily since their made out of my chakra" Haku showed off the ice throwing needles.

Cold to the touch but harder to break than normal senbon were "Nice, I might have to buy a pack for myself" Sakura giggled before clearing her throat to attain a more serious air "Right that settles things, welcome to the business partner" Sakura held out her hand.

Haku took her hand and they shook on it as he let out a relieved sigh just as Karin shot into the kitchen "I just remembered, please tell me what exactly am I suppose to buy from the market in order to make perfumes" Karin asked.

Panicking clearly "Calm down Karin-chan, but as for what you'll need, a large bottle of safflower oil, a large bottle of un-denatured alcohol, bottles to put the perfumes and poisons in and whatever herb or flower you want to make the perfume smell like that's all" Sakura soothed.

Quickly calming Karin down who scratched what she needed down then disappeared from the kitchen again to buy what she needed "Do you ever think of doing something just for yourself" Haku inquired from the table as he was making countless ice senbon out of his jutsu.

"Mm let me see…rarely, I think the last time I was still eight and for my own safety I left the village I had been living in because I knew that if I stayed nothing good would come of it" Sakura shrugged not remembering any other instances.

Before he could say anything else Sakura checked on her concoctions then joined him at the table and pulled out a roll of material and her sewing kit to get started on making the pouches while a clone got to work on making the antidote for all common poisons.

Fifteen minutes later Karin was back and sat at the table to, to work on her own merchandise "Guess this isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be" Karin commented half an hour later as she was letting the lavender flowers she'd bought from Ino soak in the oil.

That according to Sakura would need a full day to soak then she would need to strain it and add a cup of the un-denatured alcohol "Sounds like you all are having fun in here without me" Nawaki sulked from the doorway.

Until Sakura patted the empty chair next to her, letting him know silently he was welcome to join them so he did "Wait I thought it was just you two making things for your business" Nawaki furrowed his brows in confusion.

When he saw Haku making throwing needles out of his ice kekkeigenkai "He asked to be a partner which reminds me what are you going to put them in Haku" Sakura said not to upset that she had two business partners for Fragrant Blossom.

"Oh right I don't have pouches like you do" Haku seemed to realize in that moment, that while he could make what he wanted to sell in abundance, he had nothing to put them in so he directed a hopeful look onto Sakura.

Who grinned widely and made another clone for him, a second later after the dark blue material was chosen the Sakura clone got to cutting the pattern of the needle holster that would hold thirteen senbon in total to commemorate their team number into the business.

An hour later Karin noticed the bored look in Nawaki's eyes "Want to help me make poisons Nawaki so your not just sitting there watching us while dying of boredom" Karin offered the boy sitting next to her.

Nawaki immediately jumped on the offer and for the rest of the afternoon into early evening the four of them worked hard on their projects "Thank kami for clones" Sakura said as she finished putting together the final med kit then stood to get started on making dinner for them.

Karin shot her an amused glare "Don't act like you weren't always intending on using clones to help and here I was thinking that you were taking on to much" Karin harrumphed as she cleaned up her own messes.

With Nawaki's help, Sakura snickered in response, Haku smiled behind his hand, seriously amused by the sister's antics "I thought you were going to make clothes as well" Nawaki remembered a few minutes later.

Sakura nodded "Yes but not until we can be certain things will work out with what we've come up with so far" Sakura explained, tapping Nawaki on the forehead with a smile, forty minutes later supper was ready.

Then it was out back to tend her garden before coming back in to shower and sleep "Today's the day huh" Karin mused, a bit nervous about how things were going to go as they headed out the door to the market place first.

All of the handmade medical kits stacked neatly in Sakura's arms, the total amount was thirty five and it would hopefully sell out before the end of the week "Ah good morning Sakura" Junichi was there to greet them.

"Good morning to you as well Junichi-san, here's the med kits, there's 35 of them and if you could tell that clothing merchant that I'm going to hold off on a bit before making a deal with him that would be great cause right now I just want to focus on merchants in the village" Sakura requested.

Not wanting Junichi to think she didn't appreciate his effort of reaching out to a traveling merchant for her "That's fine Sakura, I'm sure Kagura will understand and be waiting for whenever your ready" Junichi shrugged.

As he took the medical kits and placed just five of them neatly in a space he'd cleared out for the med kits in his stall that he ran, just as the kunoichi were about to leave a customer approached the stall and gestured to the medical kits "New item or what and what's all in it" the gruff man asked.

"Bruise cream, flesh wound ointment, bandage rolls, antidote and food pills I believe, the price is a bit higher than normal since their also for the shinobi variety of customers" Junichi explained, nodding at the price tag.

The man mulled his options over "I'll buy one, it'll be worth it since my boy likes to get scrapes and bruises all the time from rough housing at the park" the man grunted, pulling out his wallet before slapping the amount owed into Junichi's hand.

Junichi shook his head as one of the kits were snatched and the man stalked off "See you at the end of the week Junichi-san" Karin called, dragging Sakura towards the tower to get their now normal C rank mission.

Which took an hour that day to complete "You know I had the oddest visitor yesterday, Tsume Inuzuka, may I ask what happened, because I'm certain the confrontation wasn't as she was trying to make it out as" Hiruzen questioned.

Once the incomplete Team Thirteen had collected their mission pay "Ah the wild woman from yesterday, she tried to attack us and started calling us outsiders but we didn't do anything to her if that's what she was accusing us of" Sakura stated simply.

"I'll have a chat with her now go on I'm sure your quite busy" the Hokage shooed them from his office so that Sakura could head to the greenhouse and then it was off to the training grounds for a couple of hours.

Team Ten didn't show up that day and Sakura all to happily unsealed a picnic basket indicating she'd made lunch "What are you going to do now Sakura" Haku inquired once the basket was sealed away again.

And they were headed back to the house or that's what he thought until they changed direction "Make a deal with the weapons merchant" Sakura announced, entering the shop and was greeted by yet another gentleman.

Haku had to bite back the next question that he nearly blurted out as Sakura went up to the man to work out a deal between them "So what do I get out of it" Hatori narrowed his eyes on the young girl in front of him.

Who was trying to convince him that she was Kizashi and Mebuki's daughter, Sakura beckoned Haku over "A twenty percent cut of all sales made and new weapons to add to your shelves that you can claim no other shop in the village carries" Haku informed smoothly.

Showing off the product, needless to say Hatori was sold "These all you got or do intend on making more once these ones are selling" Hatori asked, testing the throwing needle himself, admiring the detail of the cold weapons.

That he realized weren't made out of metal "I plan on making shuriken, kunai, makibishi spikes, tantou and swords once I'm able to, but for now that's all I can do until I have better control over the element I made those out of" Haku said.

"Very well you have a deal" Hatori relented and took all that Haku had made the other day, cleared a shelf for the new weapons and calculated out a proper price tag before waving them from his shop.

A pit stop by Junichi's stall indicated that two more med kits had been sold then it was time to head home "Tomorrow Karin-chan once you have your product, we'll speak to the merchant who sells fragrances and poisons as a side product" Sakura assured.

Seeing that Karin was sulking at that though Karin perked up and hurried off to prepare her perfume in the bottles since the lavender scent had infused with the safflower oil considering it had been a full twenty-four hours already.

And the next day as Sakura had promised they spoke to the third merchant who had previously dealt with her parents for Karin's sake "You just plow right through don't you Sakura" Nawaki commented.

Having noticed that Sakura didn't second guess herself, she just charged ahead, forging a path for herself and them to walk on "Yes, because the minute I stop doubt creeps in and I refuse to doubt myself anymore than I already have in the past" Sakura said.

Working on her ninjutsu that day as was Karin "There you guys are, we've been looking all over for you" Naruto rushed onto the field two hours later since the girls had been limiting their training down so they would have more time to do other things.

Sasuke trailed after the blonde but the first person he spoke to was Sakura "My Father wants to see you, Haku and Karin, will you come to the compound at 5, I'll be escorting you to the house" Sasuke cleared his throat.

Remembering not to demand but ask politely, "Well that pretty much confirms it, sure Sasuke, tell him we'll be there" Sakura sighed, having hoped that her suspicion was wrong about who her, Karin and Haku's unofficial sensei was.

But he'd pretty much given them the answer by inviting them to his house, the entirety of Team Thirteen to be precise "And old man Hokage wants to see you in his office Nawaki, something about your big sister and receiving a stipend I think" Naruto turned to Nawaki.

That signaled the departure of the blonde and straw blonde haired boys, followed by Sasuke leaving and almost immediately Karin rounded on Sakura "The hell was that all about, why would Wicked Eye Fugaku want to see us" Karin frowned.

More than a little bit worried "I'm sure you'll figure it out Karin if you think about it for a few minutes" Sakura commented not wanting to be the one to tell Karin that Fugaku Uchiha was their sensei no matter how unofficial he was.

Considering they'd been managing themselves just fine "Is his moniker really Wicked Eye Fugaku, I know Zabuza mentioned the Uchiha Patriarch once or twice but it's hard to believe his sharingan is that frightening" Haku chimed in.

It was clear neither Sakura or Karin knew either simply continued training for another hour "Another question, I've noticed that you change what you do day to day, it's not sporadic but a little confusing if I'm being honest" Haku added.

Hoping they had an answer for him this time "Our sensei back in Cloud wrote out detailed training schedules for us to follow that spanned three years, we're just doing what the schedule tells us to do on each given day" Karin admitted.

Fifteen minutes later Nawaki was back just as they were finishing up "Mr. Jiraiya still hasn't located Big Sis so he's giving me a bi-weekly stipend to use until she's found" Nawaki said, feeling more lost than ever.

Karin pulled him in for a bone-crushing hug that Sakura joined because if anyone understood what if felt like to be lost or displaced from familiar surroundings it was them so they were the best ones to cheer Nawaki up.

By making sure he felt welcome and letting him choose what he wanted for a late lunch until it was time to head to the Uchiha Compound for the first time since Sakura and Karin had arrived in the Leaf Village.
