Aftermath

Author: Hello fellow readers i'm back with more of Cael's Inheritance: Darkness Ascending. I'm planning to do four parts, so i will split this fanfiction into four series. I have some ideas on how to finish this fanfiction, but i will be doing this chapter and one more. Then i will take a break to think about the next Cael's Inheritance. Oh and Merry Christmas

After Mandek was being escorted to a cell, Adara let out a sigh of relief.

"I hope that we never see him again, right Cael." Adara hopes that she will never see Mandek again.

"I agree with you Adara, but he will not give up too easily. Ayra what will your mother do with Mandek?" Cael questions the elf next to Eragon. Who stealthed his sword.

"I don't know Cael, likely Mandek wll be put on trial and possibly put to death. But that is just one of the options for Islanzadi to consider, who knows what my mother will pick." Cael and Saphira could tell that Ayra is worried about the safety of the elven civilians with that orc here.

"True, i hope that Mandek is put to death, cause he dosen't give a fuck about the dragon race and should pay the pirce for it." Saphira snarled at the orc's name, who almost destroyed the dragon race in Adron.

"I agree with Saphira here, he is too dangerous to stay alive." Eragon stated as Adara nodded her head at Saphira's and Eragon's statement about Mandek.

"I don't know about that, but we have to see what happens to him." Ayra replied as she walked to the throne. To talk to her mother Islanzadi about the fate of Mandek. While Cael's stomach started to complain with the lack of food. That caused Eragon to jump with his sword unstealthed.

"What was that?" Eragon questioned as he looked around for enemies to kill.

"Sorry about that Eragon, i'm starving for food after that battle." Cael was nervous as he put his left claw on his stomach. While Adara rolls her eyes at Cael.

"I am glad that you're not a fat dragon Cael." Cael snorted at what Adara said, he was not a fat dragon and was glad too.

"Ha ha very funny Adara, you just want to tease my eating habits. Speaking of food, where is it?" Cael asked as his stomach complained once more. That caused Saphira to make a dragon like cough, Cael thought that she had something stuck in her throat but in reality she was chuckling. While Eragon was smiling at Cael and Adara, about their small argument.

"I will lead you to the live stock Cael, this way." Eragon begins to walk towards the pins and fences that contain the animals for dragons to grugle themselves on.

"I'm hungry as well." Saphira replied as she followed her rider with Cael walking behind her.

Cael walks behind them as he sees the elven guards preparing for another attack. Adara had a bad feeling about this, but she shook that thought out of her head as she flew after Cael.

As Cael was following Saphira, he couldn't get the thought of Saphira out of his head.

"I know that i love her, but does she love me back?" Cael thought in his mind as he felt many emotions in his mind.

A lot of Cael's thoughts were mixed up and he felt confused at these new feelings as he didn't know how to ask a female that he loved her. Saphira was struggled with her emotion as well, while she walked behind her rider. Before Saphira could think anymore on this.

"We are here." Eragon announced as Cael was forced to stop, his through was snapped as he saw livestock in fences. In front of these fences was a elf. Cael licked his lips at the tasty meat as he eyes it.

"We're here to get Saphira and Cael some feed to eat." Eragon stated as the elf saw Cael, while Saphira moved to the side to show Cael to the man, he was shocked to find a second dragon.

"The answer is no. There is no way that i will feed a second dragon." He replied as he was too stubborn, Cael was not happy with his behavior as he gave a low growl at the elf.

"If i don't get my food right fucking now, i will start devouring poeple to staictistically my hunger." Cael roared at the poor elf in fury as the elf went pale from Cael's words. Adara knows how Cael is if he doesn't get his way.

He would be pissed and a pissed off dragon that can annihilate a whole army, it will be a very bad thing for Ellesmera alone. Cause Adara knows how much damage Cael can cause in one battle alone.

Saphira and Eragon were shocked at Cael as he stomped past the elf, while Adara shrug her shoulders before she flew after him.

Saphira snorted in amusement as she walked past the elf to get her own lunch, while Eragon was looking for his lunch elsewhere. Cael saw multiple life stocks like goats, deers and many others in pins, he never tried an elk before. He may like it as he eyes it, two elfs roped it by the neck and started to drag it toward him.

While Cael, Saphira were getting their lunch, Ayra was in the throne room with Orik and Islanzadi, their were about to start a meeting about Mandek's fate and the blood-oath.

Cael and Adara hope that Mandek gets the death sentences, so that they can focus on helping Eragon out with his training in the next few days.
