Chapter Eight, Dates
It's been awhile since the Potter triplets moved back to Forks with their Godson Teddy Lupin in-tow, who was now nearly nine months old. Now, they have been in Forks for nearly seven months and Christmas was just around the corner. The girls have been getting along well with their mates and were now going out on their first date with them.
They were all going to a drive in movie together, but in separate cars. After all they hat been through, they were jittery if they were apart. Which is something Jasper and Garrett understood all too well, having been apart of a way when they were human. Even though Emmett hasn't been in a war, hrs seen how long of a each it has, and how it can still affect you years after, let alone months. Which is why he will always support Thea and to try and make things easier on her. All three guys felt the same and would do anything for their mate.
It was harder on Jasper and Tauri due to her losing Fred. But there was enough people around her to reassure her, that it was alright to love again. It also helped that Jasper took things at her pace, be it from in sitting in silence while they read, to playing with Teddy, or taking walks and getting to know each other. It was the little things he did that showed he cared, that caused Tauri to fall for him. Much like going to sleep; the girls found they fell slowly then all at once.
"I think it's sweet that you're going on a triple date." Bella said with a wide smile as she watched her cousins search through their wardrobes. "You always did do everything together. I bet you'll get engaged and married on the same day and have children together." Bella teased, though she froze when she realised what she just said. "Tauri I..."
"No. No, it's alright Bella. You and Charlie are right, Fred would want me to be happy, but.." Tauri paused uncertain how to continue.
"But you will always love him." Bella finished. "Jasper understands that Tauri. You'd known Fred for nearly seven years, he wasn't only your partner but your best friend, and he was stolen from you in a horrific way. Don't be so hard on yourself, any of you. It's only been seven months, and you've all come on so well." Bella said as she got up and hugged her cousins. "Now, Let's he you three ready. So I can have some time with my handsome nephew." Bella laugher as she looked over at a sleeping Teddy.
After much debating they decided on natural makeup and slightly coloured lipstick or eyeshadow, and their down and natural. Paired with high boots, a long sleeved top and a skirt. For Thea, she decided on black knee-high boots, a black and grey checked woollen skirt, and a red top that had bell-sleeves. Grey eyeshadow, mascara, and pink lipstick and her black hair slightly curled.
For Larissa, she decided on natural brown eyeshadow, her auburn hair straightened, mascara and dark pink lipstick. She had on a grey skirt like her older sister but a white and grey checked woollen skirt instead of black and grey, black knee-high boots and a black top.
Whereas Tauri, had decided on black knee-high boots, a black top that matched Larissa and a red skirt. She also had natural eyeshadow, mascara, a peach pink lipstick and her red hair left in its natural curls.
"You look beautiful." All four girls said to each other, before bursting into laughter. Just then a knock sounded on the door interrupting their laughter.
"Have fun." Bella called happily as she sat in a chair reading a book as the triplets kissed Teddy goodbyes, told Kreacher to get them if they were needed she to have the night to himself. Once he'd finished all the chores he wants to do, the sisters never make him do anything he just chooses to do all of them. Grabbing their bags they headed downstairs, took their potions and opened the door to see Emmett, Garrett and Jasper standing on their doorstep.
All three of them were looking rather handsome. Emmett was wearing black jeans, white trainers and a grey button-up shirt. Garrett was wearing grey trousers, black shoes, a blue button-up shirt and a black jacket. He had been doing rather well with the animal blood, considering he's never had it before. Even Jasper was doing exceedingly well, I guess it helped that Alice and Rosalie were no longer there to criticise them, and that they had their mates, and said mates owl ordered a subscription of Bloodpops. And finally, Jasper was dressed in blue jeans, brown shoes, a purple button-up shirt, a white jumper and a navy blue jacket.
"You look beautiful darling." Jasper complimented as he kissed Tauri's knuckles.
"Thank you Jasper." Tauri replied a small blush staining her cheeks, smiling as her sisters received the same treatment.
"You are beautiful Lissa." Garrett said as he kissed her hand.
"Wow." Emmett agreed. "You're so beautiful Thea. All three of you are."
"Now mate, don't try and steal Larissa and Tauri from us." Garrett mock growled making the sisters laugh.
"Do we need to bring blankets?" Thea asked.
"Nope. We have everything in the cars." Emmett said as he held Thea's hand and led her towards his silver jeep that had a pile of cushions and blankets in the bed of it. Garrett was leading Larissa to his red one, and Jasper helped Tauri into his blue one. Jasper and Garrett had brought them for this occasion and they came in handy.
Soon they arrived at the drive-in, parking next to each other, so they were together but still separate. They were going to watch Grease which the girls were rather excited about. Which in turn, made Jasper, Garrett and Emmett happy. The boys were currently getting the girls a hotdog, popcorn and a drink each. While the girls set up the blankets and cushions so they would be comfy, as the guys wouldn't let them pay for anything.
A few moments later Jasper, Garrett and Emmett returned.
"Are you girls okay?" Emmett asked.
"We're fine Em." Tauri said as she smiled at the gentle giant.
"Great. Let's watch." Garrett exclaimed as he led Larissa to his Jeep and helped her into the bed. Once she was comfy under the blankets and against the cushions he handed her, her food and drink and climbed in besides her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
Emmett, the cute goof ball that Thea fell in love with, scooped her up over his shoulder with one arm. While managing to not drop her food or drink, carried her away to his jeep Thea's and his laughter ringing behind them. Jasper shook his head at his best friends, his brothers a smirk turning up his lips as Tauri giggled, he held his hand out towards her.
"Ma'am?" Jasper drawled in his thick southern accent, a gleam in his eyes making them shine brightly.
"Sir?" Tauri questioned, playing along while trying to stop her giggles.
"Would you care yo join me?" Jasper asked.
"I'd like that." Tauri smiled. Jasper set her food and drink to one side of the bed of the jeep, climbed in and then helped Tauri up.
"What thank you kind Sir." Tauri said kidding Jasper's cheek as she walked past him and sat under the blankets.
The three sister snuggled against their mates ate their food and enjoyed the movie. While the vampires were simply happy to cuddle with their mates as they watched the movie. Smiles turning up their lips every time the girls laughed, or sung a song, even joining in and singing with their mates. All in all, it really was a wonderful first date.
Arriving back at their uncle Charlie's house that has been their home once again for the last seven months. All three couples had wide smiles on their faces from a wonderful night, but they also didn't want it to end. But end it just as a little boy was inside the house that relied on the triplets.

"Thank you for a wonderful night Emmett." Thea said happily.
"You're welcome. I had a great time too." Emmett said with a large grin on his face. "Would you like to go for another date again soon?"
"I would like that." Thea agreed giddily.
"Great." Emmett exclaimed with excitement. "Give Teddy a hug from his fun uncle." He said.
"I will do." Thea laughed. "Goodnight Emmett." She said as she kissed his cheek. Emmett grinned and sped out of the car, only to appear by Thea's door and opened it for her.
"Goodnight Thea. Sleep well." Emmett felled kissing her knuckles.
~ with Larissa and Garrett ~
"That was a good film, but cheesy but I had good company to enjoy it with." Garrett declared, making Larissa laugh.
"It was." Larissa agreed. "Thank you fit tonight Garrett. I hat an amazing time."
"Well, I aim to please." Garrett stated as they dissolved into laughter once more. "Would you like to go out with me again?" He asked.
"Hmm." Larissa said as she pretended to think. Only to dissolve into laughter at his mock-hurt expression.
"Of course silly." Larissa agreed, as a wide smile appeared on his face. Before he left the car and helped Larissa out of it.
"Great. Goodnight Lissa, give the little man a hug from me." Garrett said.
"Of course. Goodnight." Larissa bid as she kissed his cheek.
~ with Tauri and Jasper ~
"Thank you Jazz, I had a great time. We always wanted to watch that." Tauri said happily. Jasper marvelled at his mate's beautiful voice, he was so thankful for magic and Severus Snape who had given Tauri her voice back he couldn't imagine never hearing her voice and he would always be thankful.
"You're welcome darling. I had a great time too, though I had a beautiful woman as company." Jasper said charmingly, making a light blush spread across her cheeks. "I don't want to rush you, but I was wondering..."
"I would love to go on another date Jazz." Tauri interrupted. Jasper beamed in happiness almost like he would burst from it, as he took her hand pressing a loving kiss to her knuckles. Sharing once last smile Jasper got out of the car and helped Tauri out as well.
"Give the lil' man a hug from me, would you darling?" Jasper asked, smiling when Tauri nodded her head. "Thank you. Goodnight Ri, sweet dreams." Jasper said.
"Goodnight Jazz." Tauri said as she kissed his cheek. The three sisters waved goodbye, before entering the house and letting Kreacher and Charlie know they were home and bid them goodnight. Entering their room they kissed Teddy goodnight and changed into their pyjamas, they soon fell asleep as soon as they head hit the pillow. And for the first time since the war they had a peaceful and dreamless sleep without the aid of a potion.
