Dragon of the Academia-11

The sun was shining brightly as the day of the UA Sports Festival had arrived, and the campus to the grounds of UA were packed with people who couldn't wait to get to the arena, and the students were ready to get into the games.

"Aw man. I was totally hoping I could wear my costume." Mina exclaimed.

"At least everyone will be in uniforms, that'll keep things fair right?" Ojiro asked, with a smile.

"I wonder what they have in store for us in the first round." Sato asked.

"No matter what they've prepared, we must persevere." Tokoyami stated.

"Right." Shoji added.

"Everyone, get your game faces on, we're entering the arena soon." Iida stated.

Athena and Midoriya were looking themselves over as they were getting ready for the Sports Festival. After her little outburst with Monoma, Athena had gone and sought professional help and was doing a little better. An' that outburst had also helped her decide to participate in the Sports Festival, and the exposition event she wanted to do.

"Xiao Long, Midoriya."

Athena and Midoriya turned to see Todoroki walking up to them, his expression as unreadable as ever.

"What's up pinkie?" Athena asked, using the nickname she made for him based on the color the two halves of his hair made.

"From an objective standpoint, I'm much stronger than both of you." Todoroki exclaimed.

"However, you've got All Might in your corner, helping you out, which is a bit suspicious. I'm not here to pry about your personal life with him, but know that I will beat you." Todoroki exclaimed.

"You plan on beating us?" Athena asked, her gaze steeling as she looked into his eyes. "If you are, then you'd best come at us with intent to kill. Because that's the only way you're gonna beat me."

"Ugh, what's with all these declarations of war lately?" Kaminari asked, creeped out.

"Yeah, what's the big deal, why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?" Kirishima asked, putting a hand on Todoroki's shoulder. "An' right before we get started."

"He's not picking a fight." Midoriya stated. "He's done all but outright say it. He's declared Athena to be his rival."

"We're not here to be each other's friends. Don't forget, this isn't a team effort. I won't be going easy on any of my classmates." Todoroki stated, shrugging off Kirishima's hand.

"Wait a sec Todoroki." Midoriya exclaimed. "I might not have a clue, about what's going on in that head of yours, or why you think you need to tell Athena and I that you'll beat us, and it's true, you're better than me by far, in fact you probably have way more potential than anyone in the hero course. That's why you got in so easily."

"Midoriya, maybe you're being a little hard on yourself, and us." Kirishima stated.

"No, he's right you guys. All the other courses, they're coming at us with everything they have, and they're not gonna stop until they have our heads on a silver platter." Athena exclaimed, remembering the declaration of war the class got from a student named Hitoshi Shinso. "We're all gonna have to fight to stand out, and I'll be aiming for the top to."

"Fine." Todoroki exclaimed before leaving.

~League of Villains Dive Bar~

"So remind me again, why I can't just sit and watch this in my room?" Shigaraki inquired sitting on the couch of the bar, with a large plasma screen on the coffee table. "An' where'd the plasma screen come from anyway?"

"It was a gift, from Joker. An' speaking of, he's also wanting to watch the U.A Sports Festival with you. It's supposed to be a, team bonding experience. At least that's how he put it." All-for-One's voice came from the other television in the room, being the communication between the bar and All-for-One's base. "So play nice, and don't try to kill him. The bastard's unkillable. If you do, he's gonna murder you."

"Fine, I won't try and turn him to dust." Shigaraki grumbled.

"Good, now I have to return to my work, behave." All-for-One said, before the line went dead.

"Oooh, has it started yet?" Joker asked, hopping onto the couch, a massive bucket of popcorn between his legs. "I hope not. The opening speech is my favorite part."

"Where did you even get that giant thing of popcorn?" Shigaraki questioned.

"Better to not overthink it." Joker smiled, with a laugh. "Now hush up, it's starting."

~UA Battle Arena~

"Hey." Present Mic stated, his face appearing on the screen. "Make some noise all you rabid sports fans, get those cameras prepped Media Hordes. This year we're bringing you some of the hottest performances in sports history guaranteed. I've only got one question, before we start this show. Are you ready? Let me hear you scream as our students make their way to the big stage."

At the entrance to the arena, Athena and her class came marching out of the gateway, with her arms spread wide, and a big smile on her face.

"Welcome to those of you just tuning in to the UA Sports Festival. Where heroes in training get scouted out to join some interesting agencies. This first group is no stranger to the spotlight, you know them from withstanding a villain attack, the dazzling students lighting up your TV's with solid gold skills. The hero course students of Class 1-A." Present Mic's voice echoed through the surround-sound speakers of the arena.

"I-I didn't know there'd be this many people." Midoriya said a bit nervously.

"I hope we're still able to give our best performances, with so many eyes watching us." Iida exclaimed. "I suppose it's just another aspect of being a hero we all have to get used to."

"Present Mic sure did talk us up a lot. Kinda makes me nervous." Kirishima questioned.

"I'm not worried about all the attention. It just makes me wanna win this thing even more." Bakugo exclaimed. "An' I'll prove to that damned mouse, that all you need to be a great hero, is power."

After all the other hero course students, and other course study students were gathered. Midnight was up by a podium and waved a small tussle of whips around.

"Now the introductory Speech." Midnight exclaimed.

"Someone should really talk to Ms. Midnight about what she's wearing." Kirishima exclaimed.

"Seriously she should really put a warning sign on her costume." Kaminari exclaimed.

"Is that really appropriate apparel for a high school?" Tokoyami questioned.

"Well, she is the R-Rated Hero." Athena exclaimed.

"Silence everyone." Midnight exclaimed. "An' for the student pledge, since both our top ranking students have already gone on and graduated, we have Athena Xiao Long."

"Go get 'em Athena." Mina said, pushing Athena forward.

"She's the first year rep?" One of the other course students asked.

"She's a total slut, why does she get to make the pledge?" Another asked.

"I think it should be someone from Class-B who makes the pledge." Monoma called out. "Let her get to her next client before she loses any more paydays."

"I'm gonna pour acid down his throat." Mina shouted, being held back by Iida and Midoriya.

"Ahem." Athena said gaining all the attention in the colosseum. "I won't take long, I just wanna say something."

"Oh, here she goes." Mina said, sounding all excited.

Midnight put her hand on Athena's shoulder, causing the young girl to look at her. "Take your time sweetie. Speak from the heart." Midnight said. Athena nodded and took in a deep breath, not even thinking of what she wanted to say.

"All mankind, are not created equal. That is the reality of our world. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows, it's a very mean, and nasty place, and it doesn't matter how tough you are. The world will beat you to your knees, and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life. I've been getting those beatings, every day of my existence. They hurt, they stung, and they weren't pleasant in the slightest."

Athena paused as she saw she had the entire stadium's attention on her now.

"I could have avoided all the pain, all the beatings I took, if I had just minded my own business and turned the other cheek. But I decided I wasn't just gonna ignore someone in need, I wasn't just gonna turn a blind eye, to someone being picked on, whether they're Quirkless, they have a weak, or a villainous Quirk. So I defended those who needed me, and I took the beatings, with a smile on my face, knowing I was proving myself a hero.

Some of you may be asking, why I continued to get back up, if I was just gonna get knocked down again? The answer isn't as complex as you may think.

It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward, how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Pain is temporary, it may last for a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year. But it will subside eventually. If I quit however, it will last forever.

So if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers, saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that, and nobody in this colosseum is a coward. We're better than that." Athena shouted out raising her right arm into the air, leaving everyone listening, completely speechless and flabbergasted. "I'm always gonna do my best, no matter what anyone tells me, whether they think I can't because I look like a villain, or I'm too weak, that doesn't matter. What matters, is how I prove I am worth being a hero.

Nearly a month ago, I lost three of my limbs. An' with all the lies flying around the school about me, I almost let life win, I almost let it beat me to my knees, permanently. But someone I met a couple weeks ago, someone very important told me once, with great power, comes great responsibility. I have a responsibility, to keep moving forward, to not let life beat me down. I don't have time to let my fears stop me, I don't have time, to let my inhibitions slow me down.

Marianne Williams once wrote: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, it is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' When we should be asking, 'who are we not to be?'

An' even if the whole world is against me, even if I have to force my way through hell to prove I can become a hero, even if it kills me. Why? Because it's a hero's job, to protect the innocent, no matter the cost to themselves. Thank you for your time, and may we all, enjoy the U.A Sports Festival." Athena finished, with a bow.

At first, there was a deafening silence, throughout the entire colosseum. But the silence was broken, as clapping could be heard from the stands, as All Might started the clapping. Then a second person started, before the clapping turned into a roaring applause for Athena, and her words of inspiration. Nothing but respect and admiration present on their faces, and in their cheers.

'Yes Athena, you have done it. You have officially announced to the world who you are, that you are here.' All Might smiled proudly.

~League of Villains Dive Bar~

"Wow." Shigaraki said.

"I know. Her words were so inspiring, even I was moved to tears." Joker said, wiping away a genuine tear of admiration from his cheek.

~U.A Colosseum~

"What an amazing speech." Present Mic called out.

"Without further-adieu, it's time for us to get started." Midnight exclaimed. "This is where you begin feeling the pain. The first fateful game of the festival." Midnight said as a screen with what looked like a lottery machine spinner, popped up spinning. "What could it be? Tada." Midnight cheered as the screen landed on an obstacle course.

"So it's gonna be an obstacle course race huh?" Midoriya questioned. "You should have this one in the bag Athena."

"Problem is, I can't shake the feeling that something, or someone might try someone to clog up the tunnel." Athena sighed.

"All eleven classes will participate in this treacherous contest. The track is four kilometers around the outside of the stadium. I don't wanna restrain anyone, at least in this game." Midnight explained, before she was letting her dominatrix side show, by licking her lips. "As long as you don't leave the course, you're free to do whatever your heart desires. Now then, take your places contestants."

'I have to win this. Otherwise, my speech will have been for nothing, but a waste of time.' Athena thought, taking her place at the front of the crowd of students at the entrance to the tunnel, her legs taking on the shape of cheetah legs as she grew a cheetah's tail, with strands of violet lightning surrounding her body. 'I'll just use 5-8% of One-for-All. To make it somewhat fair.'

"Begin." Midnight shouted as the last green light went off.

(Cue Music… Runnin: Adam Lambert)

The crowd of students began racing through the gates, but were pushed back as a large cloud of dust came and blocked their path with a boom echoing around them.

"An' we're off to an explosive start in this race." Present Mic exclaimed before turning to his co-announcer. "How about some colored commentary goldilocks?"

"How did you talk me into this, I could be with Blake and the twins enjoying the festivities outside right now." Yang sighed. "Oh well, it looks as though Athena has taken the lead, leaving the other students behind to eat her dust, literally. But it looks like she's not the only one, who foresaw the first obstacle of the course, before the race began. Coming up behind her, is Shoto Todoroki, son of the number 35 Hero, Endeavor, and her honorary brother Izuku Midoriya, right on her tail, while Todoroki seems to have frozen the other contestants in the tunnel, but it looks like some of them got out."

"Nice trick Todoroki, but I'm not gonna be that easy to beat." Athena said, pushing her legs to 8% of One-for-All, racing ahead of Todoroki. As she continued to run, Athena's eyes opened wide as she saw something, and brought her gemstone arm up to take a hit, as she was knocked back into Todoroki and Midoriya, knocking them both to the ground with her.

"Oh, and it looks like our racers have come across the first obstacle of the race. The Robo-Inferno. A test of strength and cunning, to determine their determination." Present Mic called out.

"Just wait Mic, you haven't seen half of what the students are capable of." Yang said.

"The robots from the entrance exams." Athena said, before smiling. "Looks like I get to show off more than my speed."

Almost instantly, Athena sent herself forward, in a flash of violet electricity, zigzagging her way through the robots, destroying them at the same time, all while displaying her agility, and fighting skills.

"What in the world just happened folks? Yang, care to comment?" Present Mic asked, equally as shocked as the students.

"It's actually kinda simple Mic." Yang smiled. "Athena's combined her speed with her physical strength, and enhance fighting capabilities. She's demonstrating her ability to think on her feet, while facing an enemy."

"There you have it folks, one of U.A's best has been honing her skills enough to be able to fight like a champ." Present Mic smiled.

"I think I'm gonna do something to the Zero-Pointers, I should have done in the entrance exams." Athena smirked, using her speed to travel up the side of a Zero-Pointer, before passing by its head high into the air, before taking in a deep breath. "Etherion Dragon: ROAR."

The spiraling wave of Etherion energy sent Athena rocketing up into the air, as the initial attack, came crashing down on the Zero-Pointer Athena ran up, and pierced it like a spicket running the robot through, before the intense heat of the energy began to melt it from the inside out, before it was nothing but molten metal.

"That's Xiao Long from Class 1-A… is she gonna be coming down any time soon?" Present Mic questioned.

"I think she might have entered the stratosphere." Yang said. "That was her most powerful attack, used with a low amount of power to avoid hurting any students. But it looks like that hasn't stopped Todoroki or Midoriya from advancing, with Midoriya drilling through the robots, and Todoroki freezing the Zero-Pointer in place."

On the course, Izuku was drilling his way through the robots, literally, using Iron Dragon Sword, and revving it like a chainsaw, as he ran past them, slicing the robots to pieces, and even destabilizing a Zero-Pointer. At the same time, Todoroki was freezing the robots in place, and even did so to the one Midoriya destabilized, giving himself a window of opportunity to pass through, before they toppled over, and shattering to pieces on the ground.

"Hey, there's somebody trapped under that robot." A student exclaimed.

"Should we try to help them?"

"Are people seriously gonna die here?"

The group of students kept panicking before there was the sound of metal screeching and tearing was heard, as Kirishima came sprouting out of the metal like a flower popping up out of the ground.

"I'M ALIVE." Kirishima shouted.

"It's Kirishima from Class 1-A, what a hard-core debut for this rookie." Present Mic shouted into his microphone.

"Todoroki, I can't believe you'd pull something like that." Kirishima stated. "Geeze, anyone but me would have been killed."

"No, there's one other who could survive that." Monoma exclaimed, and as if in cue, another person digging themselves through the hull of the robot began making himself known.

"Class 1-A really is full of jerks." Tetsutetsu exclaimed breaking through the surface of the robot's hull, his body completely covered in steel just like Midoriya's when he uses his Iron Dragonslayer abilities. "I'll smash that guy when I get my hands on him."

"Ooh, Tetsutetsu from class 1-B was also stuck underneath, what are the odds?" Present Mic questioned.

"You know, anyone other than me would have been killed." Tetsutetsu stated.

"Look to your right/left." Mina and an orange haired girl, named Kendo called out.

Tetsutetsu and Kirishima looked to one another, before they both began running over the hulls of the downed robot, with Kirishima shedding a few tears.

"Our Quirks are basically the same. How am I supposed to stand out now?" Kirishima questioned.

"You damned copy-cat." Tetsutetsu stated, as they ran side by side.

"Man how lucky are they? They don't have to worry about being crushed." Kaminari stated.

~Moon's Orbit~

"Damn it…" Athena groaned, floating around in space, with an iron mask on her face, providing her oxygen, with a combination of Iron Dragon and Sky Dragon Magic. This particular spell was meant to help her if she was unable to breathe underwater with Sea Dragonslayer Magic, but it worked just as well out in space. "I used too much power, now how am I supposed to get back to the Sports Festival?" She questioned, before an idea came to her. "I need to get down to the moon's surface first."

~Obstacle Course Race~

"For those of you who thought the first obstacle was easy. Let's see how you feel about the second one." Present Mic exclaimed.

"It's a real doozy of a fall." Yang added.

"When did they even have time to build something like this?" Uraraka asked as she stood next to Midoriya, while Tsu got down on all fours.

"What are you doing?" Mina asked Tsu, before the frog Quirk girl, jumped through the air, and landing on one of the many ropes.

"Ribbit." Tsu called out. "Ribbit. This is my moment, easy peasy."

"She's fast." Mina stated.

"Heh-heh. I got this." Midoriya smiled. "You're okay with flying through the air right?"

"Yeah, why?" Uraraka asked.

Midoriya didn't respond, as he took her in his arms, causing the brunet to blush deeply, before he jumped through the air, hopping from platform to platform, like a frog on lily pads, zipping past Tsu and the other students who were making their way across.

'Thanks to Athena's method of letting the energy flow through me, and her training, I can safely handle and maintain the 5% of One-for-All. But since I have my Iron Dragonslayer Magic coursing through me, with my scales covering my lower half, like a pair of pants, I'm able to use 10%, which is what I'm using to be able to leap like this.' Midoriya thought, before he reached the other side of the gorge.

"Would you look at that folks? Midoriya has helped his classmate cross the gorge, no doubt because of something he needed to aid him." Present Mic said, as Midoriya set Uraraka down.

"Is that true Deku?" Uraraka asked.

"Yeah, sorry but I needed the weight of another person to act as a counterweight so I wouldn't overshoot my mark of the platforms." Midoriya said.

"Oh, well happy to be of help." Uraraka smiled.

"Thanks again. Well, hope to see you at the finish line." Midoriya said, racing off and catching up to Todoroki quickly.

"Now let's get back to the race." Present Mic exclaimed. "Looks like Todoroki and Midoriya are still neck in neck for the lead, but it looks like Katsuki Bakugo, the resident bully of the school, is right behind them."

Todoroki looked back to see Bakugo was right behind them, flying through the air with his explosions.

'Looks like he's finally getting fired up. Took him long enough.' Todoroki thought,

"YOU SUCK." Bakugo shouted.

Midoriya looked back, to see Bakugo as well. He thought that if he won this, he might be able to prove to Bakugo there are people still better than him, aside from Athena, and rub it in his face, as payback for all the rumors he's been spreading about her. Before he could do anything else to advance however, he and Todoroki stopped at the last obstacle.

"An' now, we're finally approaching the last obstacle. Everyone had better tread carefully, you're stepping onto a minefield." Present Mic announced. "If you look carefully, you can see where those little bombs are buried, so keep your eyes on the ground folks."

"Doesn't this seem excessive? I mean what if the students get hurt?" Yang asked.

"There's no need to worry, those landmines were designed for the game, so they might be loud and flashy, but they're not all that powerful, just enough to make you wet your pants." Present Mic shouted excitedly.

"Mic, get a hold of yourself dude." Yang exclaimed.

Midoriya smiled as he backed up about fifteen feet.

"What is Midoriya up to out there folks?" Present Mic asked.

"I see what he's doing." Yang smirked.

"Care to enlighten the rest of us?"

"Just sit back and watch."

Midoriya got down on one knee, and took a runner's start, before he let out a deep breath, and closed his eyes, concentrating 10% of One-for-All through his body, as it became covered in Iron Dragon Scales. Opening his eyes as he felt the power coursing through him, Midoriya went running to the field and jumped at the last second, before reaching it, crossing over the field, similar to an event from the Quirk Assessment Test Aizawa had put them through.

When he saw the ground getting closer, Midoriya punched downward, using the air pressure to keep himself up, before twisting around, and holding out his right hand, flicking out the air pressure, which sent him flying.

"He was gathering up power from within himself, to be able to clear a large portion of the field with a high jump, before he continue to…" Yang stopped when she got confirmation of something heading towards them. "Ladies and gentlemen, I do hate to interrupt your fun, but I would ask that you all remain calm, as it's been reported a meteor is heading straight for U.A Campus."

With Midoriya's vision locked onto the sky, he had a front row seat to the flying meteor, and nearly panicked before he used wind pressure to stop his momentum, allowing for the meteor to pass over him, without causing him harm. Crash landing on the minefield, and causing several mines to detonate from the impact. When the dust cleared something came out of the crater the meteor made on impact, and all eyes were now on it, as it went running for the tunnel, carefully avoiding the mines.

"Oh no you don't." Midoriya said, giving chase with Todoroki and Bakugo right behind him.

As the creature that came out of the crater, ran through the tunnel, Midoriya came up close behind and even surpassed her. When they reached the end of the tunnel, Midoriya had crossed through first, with the creature right behind him, followed by Todoroki, Bakugo, and several others.

(End Song…)

"That's it, first place is Izuku Midoriya of Class 1-A." Present Mic exclaimed. "As second place goes to… who is that exactly?"

To answer his question, the second figure began spinning like a top, shaking off the soot that had accumulated, showing it was Athena, with a bright smile, removing her mask.

"Sorry, but I couldn't just stop and shake off the soot I was covered in, in the middle of a race." Athena smirked.

"Athena Xiao Long. Second place goes to Athena Xiao Long." Present Mic called out excitedly.

"You're back. How high did you go?" Midoriya asked.

"Here, I brought you back a souvenir." Athena smiled, tossing him a rock.

"Wait, is this… You went to the moon?" Midoriya questioned.

"Yep. Pretty cool right." Athena smiled.

"Alright everyone, gather around." Midnight exclaimed coming up onto the platform. "Forty-two of you qualified to move on to the next round, however since there was an added late entry, we're gonna have to change things up, depending on the next event. Gird your loins and prepare for your next test. A cavalry battle. Those of you at the top, will suffer the most. Of course that's something you'll hear over and over again at UA. Show us what Plus Ultra means." Midnight stated, pointing her tussled whip at Midoriya. "Izuku Midoriya placed first in the qualifier, he'll be worth ten-million."

Midoriya only sighed in annoyance, he knew something like this had to be coming, but decided to put up with it, as he figured it was better than Todoroki freezing the entire arena should he have won, or Bakugo blowing everyone's heads off, if he had made first place. Either way, he wouldn't be as destructive as them for keeping his points.

"First Years, these are the rules that you'll abide by. The game itself will last fifteen minutes, individual point values will be added together to reach your team value. Everyone will know how much you're worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your teams score. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up, so the more you steal the harder it will be to manage them, and another thing, even if your headband gets stolen, or your team falls down, you can keep playing until times up."

"It's anyone's game then." Momo exclaimed.

"Yeah and since there are 42 contestants, there will be nine or twelve teams fighting on the field the entire time." Sato exclaimed.

"Sounds hard." Aoyama exclaimed.

"So if you lose your headband at the beginning, you have more time to make up a plan." Mina exclaimed.

"Well I don't know Mina, I think we should wait and see how the teams turn out before we start strategizing." Tsu exclaimed.

"This is going to be rough, you may use your Quirks as much as you like." Midnight exclaimed. "But, there are still rules. Make a team fall on purpose, and I'll slap you with a red card, you'll be disqualified." Bakugo showed his disappointment by looking away with a, tch, sound. "Now you've got fifteen minutes to build your teams. I recommend you get started."

"It doesn't matter how many points my teammates has, since I have so many, I just need to make sure I pick the right people." Midoriya exclaimed.

Over on the other side of the group, Shinso was looking for partners to act as his horses, but stopped when he felt someone grab his shoulder. Turning to look at who had approached him from behind, he visibly tried to hold back his anger when he saw Monoma standing there.

"Hey there partner. Wanna team up with me, and show those mutts in Class-A what's what?" Monoma questioned.

"Buzz off blondie. I'm not interested in having you as a partner." Shinso said, shrugging Monoma's hand off, and began to walk away.

"Oh come on, don't be like that. You want a chance at proving yourself worthy of being in the hero course right?" Monoma questioned, causing Shinso to stop. "Then your best bet, is to partner up, with some members of the superior Class-B. Unlike Class-A, we don't resort to foul play, just to get attention."

"Here you go again with that bullshit." Shinso said, turning back to him. "Did you not learn your lesson when Xiao Long nearly put you in a coma two weeks ago?"

"Oh please, the only thing that slut did was prove my point, in both Class-A's publicity stunt, and her whorish behavior. An' I did not believe any of her lies she uttered when giving her speech. She's nothing but a tramp, who sleeps with anyone who waves a stack of cash in her face. So what do you say?" Monoma questioned, holding out his hand.

Shinso took in a deep breath, before he asked Monoma a question.

"What is your Quirk exactly?" Shinso questioned.

"Oh, my Quirk is…" Monoma stopped talking as Shinso's Quirk took effect almost immediately, with Monoma's eyes glazing over.

"Punch yourself in the nuts, hard enough to where you're foaming at the mouth." Shinso said, without an ounce of remorse in his voice.

Monoma raised his fist high, before slamming it hard in his balls, breaking Shinso's hold over him, and causing him to fall to the ground, foaming at the mouth.

"You went too far with what you said about her two weeks ago blondie. I'm wanting to be a hero, not a tyrant. So you can forget about me forming any team you make. So go to hell, I'm not interested in hanging around an egomaniac asshole like you." Shinso said, walking away.

Over in the middle of the group, Midoriya had just finished gathering his team, having thought ahead and chose to make a team instead of waiting for them to come to him.

"Ochako, Hatsume, Tokoyami, I'd like the three of you to be on my team." Midoriya explained, after having gathered the three students together.

"Perfect timing I was actually gonna come find you to be part of your team." Uraraka smiled.

"Oh, you're first place. My you seem very athletic, and powerful." Hatsume exclaimed putting up her crosshairs goggles.

"I'm honored that you chose me, but can we hear your strategy before we do anything else?" Tokoyami asked.

"It's kinda simple if you think about it. Hatsume, you've no doubt brought some of your inventions and creations to show off during the sports festival, right?" Midoriya asked. "You have a bit of a rep around campus for your inventions, and blowing stuff to oblivion. Mainly the blowing stuff to oblivion though."

"That's right, I brought so many of my babies; it's so marvelous, I'm sure to get noticed by some big time agencies." Hatsume exclaimed.

"Alright here's the plan. Uraraka will take the left flank, making all our gear float, while keeping us grounded. Hatsume will take the right flank, with her control over her creations, it's possible we could stand more than just the fighting chance we already have." Midoriya explained.

"What about me?" Tokoyami asked.

"You're gonna be the head. With Dark Shadow, your defensive abilities are just what we need in order to keep us safe from all side, I'm honestly hoping you won't need to attack at all, as shadows are the only thing that can move faster than light. Does that sound good?" Midoriya exclaimed.

"Hmm, interesting. My Quirks offensive ability gets stronger when I'm in darkness. But that makes Dark Shadow aggressive and difficult to control, on the other hand, the beast is easy to handle in the sunlight, that's at the cost of its attack power though. You couldn't have known this, and yet you've chosen the correct role for me. Your proposal seems like a good one under the circumstances. Very well, I'll follow your lead." Tokoyami exclaimed.

"What about Athena and her team?" Uraraka asked.

"She's made her own team, literally." Midoriya said, pointing to where Athena was, with a full gemstone clone of herself, as it turned into a panther, big enough for her to ride on its back, with a saddle on it. "She might look light as a feather, but no team would be able to carry her full weight, with how heavy her gemstone limbs make her, so Midnight Sensei gave her permission to make a team with clones of herself she made from using her control over gemstones, like how she made her limbs."

"That… seems about right actually." Uraraka said.
