The Fosters:

"Guys, how are we goanna find this Bill Foster?" Scott asked.

"I don't know. I haven't seen that buffoon in thirty years!" exclaimed Hank.

"Hope!" George's mind sparked up. "Maybe she could lead us to him!"

"Who could lead us to him?" Hope was confused.

"Emma of course,"

"Who's Emma?" Scott asked.

"An old classmate of mine from boarding school," Hope answered. Her voice was blank. "Haven't seen her in years. I doubt she'd ever help us,"

"Why?"

"Because things just... changed between us,"

"Hope, we have to find her. She can lead us to Bill so he can help us save mum. You must know something," George implored.

Hope huffed. "There is one place I know she goes,"

"Are you doing okay?" a young coloured lady in a smart suit with black braided hair called, pressing the phone close to her ear.

"I'm fine Emma. I still feel so much pain though," the speaker answered back.

"Well, don't you worry. Dad will help you once he's finished,"

"I'm glad I've got you two to cling on to,"

"Well, I gotta get going cause I've got stuff to do. I'll see you later,"

"Love you sis,"

"Love you," Emma ended the call. She turned a corner and walked under a shaded quiet street towards her favourite café. Suddenly she was pulled into a narrow alley by a hand over her mouth. She muffled and tried to move.

Her captor shushed her.

"Hope!" she screeched. She pulled herself free. "What are you doing here?"

"Shush!" she shushed.

"I will not shush! You are wanted by the FBI and I will not get involved,"

"Just listen please! This is important!"

"I am not listening to you!"

"Please Emma," George approached. "We need your help! For our mother's sake!"

"Your mother's sake? You said she died in a car crash,"

"That's what my dad told me. Just let us explain first,"

"No! I'm not listening to any of you!"

"Miss Foster pleaseeee!" George implored. "Just follow us and let us explain,"

Reluctantly for her own sake, Emma was led to a back way where she saw Hank and a man she didn't know waiting for them.

"Hank," she hissed.

"You must be Emma Foster," he said.

"I know who you are Doctor Pym,"

"You speak as if you know him," the other guy said.

"Who are you?!" she demanded.

"The cause of us going on the run. This is Scott Lang," George introduced.

"Look, we really need to find your father. Our portable lab was stolen from us and we need someone who knows about our father's technology to help us,"

"What's the whoop about that lab?"

The twins were about to say it but Hank shook his head.

"No!"

"Dad, we have to," Hope said. "Emma, we're building a tunnel to the quantum realm. We believe our mother is still down there and Scott is somewhat entangled with her,"

"If you think I'm goanna help out a bunch of fugitives, you're quite mistaken," Emma rated stubbornly.

"Look whatever it is that you have against us, don't take it out on our mother. Just take us to your father. You'll never see us again," George begged.

"Fine," she huffed, straight away. "But if you guys ever come consort yourselves with or my father again, I will turn you in. I'm only covering for you guys for your mum's sake. She was a victim of your egotism Hank Pym and so she should be brought back,"

Hank turned cold at her word.

The reluctant Emma guided the group over to a university.

"Guys. I'm really not sure about this," George said.

"Relax son. No one's goanna recognise us,"

"Yes, they are goanna recognise us," Scott joined in with agreement. "We look like fans at a soccer ball game with these caps and sunglasses,"

Scott and George somewhat slowed behind Hope, Hank and Emma.

"Hey George…haven't you noticed something?" Scott asked.

"Noticed what?"

"That she just agrees right away to help us, even after a single argument and she didn't think of turning us in?"

"She's doing it for our mum's sake,"

"Can we please just be careful about this? For all we know…"

"Enough Scott!" George ranted. "I'm not telling you unless I need to and I don't actually need to,"

He stalked ahead. Scott sighed.

Emma led them inside a large room where Bill was teaching physics to his massive class. When he noticed them, he paused and finished the lesson early.

Emma walked down to her father.

"Emma, why did you bring those fugitives here especially Hank?"

"They need to find a lab and they're trying to bring Janet back. And somehow this guy…" she points at Scott. "…is entangled with her,"

Bill turned his gaze at the group of four, but focused on Scott. "Follow me,"

They went to his office and they explained the whole story to him. Bill was astounded.

"I can't believe. You're linked to Janet. It's quantum entanglement between the quantum states of matter between the states of Posner molecules in your brains,"

"Do you seriously put 'quantum' into everything you guys think about?" Scott asked.

"Doctor, we need to find our lab," Hope said.

"For our mother's sake," implored George.

"Guys, I would love you to help you guys but I don't have anything like the equipment you're describing," Bill gently refused.

"I told you this was a waste of time," Hank said. "Come on, let's go."

"Don't condescend, Hank. You're the one who's on the run from the FBI. All because you had to grow to a size that finally fit your ego."

"That wasn't me in Germany. It was this idiot." he pointed at Scott.

Bill stared at Scott. "Seriously?"

"Yep,"

"Was it exhausting?"

"Yep. I slept for three days,"

"You know back when I was Hank's partner, we worked on a project called Golliath,"

"Excuse me?!" Hank heatedly questioned. "You were my partner?"

"The only thing more tiring than going that big was putting up with this guy's attitude,"

"How big did you get?"

"My record? Twenty-one feet. You?"

"Sixty-five feet."

"Sixty-five?"

"If you two are finished comparing sizes…" George interrupted. "We need to find our lab,"

"And the great Hank Pym has found out yet?" Emma mocked.

Hope groaned. "Don't you start," she warned.

"Or else what?"

"Don't you two start as well," George warned.

"You had all the answers back in the day," Bill said. "That's why I left the project,"

"Excuse me? I fired you," Hank pointed at him.

"Best decision I ever made," Bill continued unphased. "Hank was a terrible partner. Temperamental, stubborn, impatient…literally he pushed everyone away,"

"Just the mediocrities,"

"Janet was the only one who could endure him and chose to stick it out,"

"Watch it Bill?" Hank warned.

"She paid the price though, didn't she?" Bill smirked.

Hank erupted. "Why you..." he was about to rile on Bill but his children pulled him back.

"Enough you two!" George shouted. "We didn't here to shout at each other! Dr, we are trying to save our mother!"

"Guys, we gotta go," Scott alerted.

"What's going on?" Hope asked.

"Woo's here. They must have seen me,"

"Relax…they would be in your house by now," Hank looked at a camera with his son. They saw an ant posing as Scott playing drum.s

George sniggered. "That is the funniest thing I've ever seen,"

"What are you fifteen?"

"We gotta go!" Hope ushered.

"Wait!" Bill called. "You might be able to improvise that tracker if you modify the diffraction units on one of your regulators,"

"That could work," George approved.

"I don't even know what that means," Scott said.

"Go now! Or we turn you in!" Emma warned. She cast a frown at Hope who returned it.

Quickly they scurried away.

Emma stalked around in circles. "I can't stand them!"

"Relax darling," Bill said. "Now…in a while you'll need to head back and make sure our true priority is alright,"

"Just about to now," she turned to leave when trio of FBI officers arrived.

"What gives?" she demanded.

"We're looking for fugitives Hank Pym and twins Hope and George Van Dyne,"

"Well, you're not goanna find them here," Bill shook his head.

"But Doctor, campus police says they ID'd both Pym and Van Dyne,"

"I don't know what to tell you Agent. I haven't talked to Hank in 30 years. I can assure you I'm the last person he'd ever want to talk to,"

"Oh come on!" the officer in a grey suit moaned. "You expect us to.."

"Hey. Watch your mouth," Emma hissed.

"Enough," Woo said. "Why wouldn't Hank want to visit you Bill Foster?"

"They hate each other's guts," Emma answered for him.

They left. Emma turned back to her dad.

"So what do we do now?"

"We wait. They'll find the lab and she handle them,"

"'Hank was a terrible partner'" Hank mimicked Bill's insulting words. "Foster, he hasn't had one good idea in his unremarkable career,"

"Is their resent to each other the reason why Emma…" Scott started to ask Hope.

"Yep," she answered, not turning her focus off the road. "I don't wanna talk about it,"

"Nonetheless his idea about the diffractors could work right?" George asked.

"It could. Except the fact that I destroyed the diffractors when I upgraded the suits!" Hank cursed. "His idea won't work without them will it!"

"So if we had an old suit, we might be able to track down the lab?" Scott asked.

"Yes but we don't'!"

"Scott…" George noticed a look on his face.

Hope saw it too. "Oh my god. You didn't destroy the suit did you,"

"What?" Hank asked.

"It was your life's work Hank. I couldn't destroy that. Before I turned myself in, I shrunk it down and mailed it to Luis,"

"You sent my suit through the mail?!" Hank asked enraged.

"Hey the postal service is very reliable,"

"Well, where's the suit now?"

"Don't worry. It's somewhere safe," Scott pulled out a phone and started to make a call.

"Guess, another good thing came out of taking this idiot out of house arrest," George felt her had to say that.

Scott ended the call. "Well, the good news is I know where it is,"

"And the bad news…" Hope drifted off.

"I stored it inside a trophy that my daughter's taken to her school,"

"Where's her school?"

"About a couple of blocks away in downtown,"

Wow. So Hope had a former friend like her younger twin brother. What you all think of Emma Foster? Please let me know what you thought. I can take her out if you all want me to. Feel free to send over anymore ideas if you wish. Happy reading.
