As the Blood Moon rose higher, convulsing and glowing even brighter, malice, orange-red sparks and black smoke, began to surround it and an angry-looking demonic face began to form upon the moon's surface, baring sharp teeth.

Demise held his sword skyward and aloft, raised to the sky and pointing at the moon. With the appointed hour fast approaching, the ghostly form of the Demon King was brightening and darkening more rapidly, solidifying a bit; Dark Doomsday was looming.

"AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Ghirahim cackled with glee, briefly shifting into his dark-colored true form but with glowing red and black eyes, "YES! OH YES, I CAN FEEL THE MOONSHINE, IT IS BRIGHTENING UP MY NIGHT. OUR NIGHT!

"MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Demise glanced at his servant, not even bothering to take his eyes off the Blood Moon, "Do not forget Ghirahim, I am the Master of Darkness. However, I do appreciate how enthused and excited you are as you can hardly wait for the attack to begin.

"Just a little longer and, soon, the world will be ours to devestate and the Triforce will be ours to bend to our will, forcing it to help us in our quest for domination over the world and the universe beyond this pathetic land."

Ghirahim chuckled, "But can you feel the moonshine as it brightens up the night? "

"SERVANT! THAT IS THE LAMEST WAY TO PARODY THAT HORRIFIC FOX DOLL'S THEME SONG AND THIS IS THE WRONG UNIVERSE AND CONTINUITY!"

"Aw, does the master seem to dislike a certain blue rodent? The console wars are over."

"Ghirahim, I am warning you. Another blabber and you're in big trouble."

After eating an incredible dinner, Link and Zelda left Hateno Village and walked along the dirt trail, heading for an open, grassy field where they planned on stargazing and a little bit of fun, like all teen or adult couples did.

Along the way, Link could not help but notice that the warm night breeze was starting to feel freezing cold, he could also sense an ominous feeling in the air, as if something dark and terrible was coming, like something bad was about to actually happen at any time.

Link had changed back into his Hero of the Wild outfit and Zelda had swapped her fancy dress for blue shorts, sandles and a revealing t-shirt. Zelda seemed to be ignoring the cold chill in the night air, Link wanted to let her know that things were starting to feel...ominous!

"Uh, Zel?" The young hero spoke, unable to stand it anymore, the cold chill was starting to intensify and goosebumps were starting to form upon his neck and face

"Yes, Linky?" Zelda replied, "Whats the problem right now?"

"Can you feel it?"

"Feel what?"

"There's somethin' villainous in the air, I feel as though some dark and ominous presence is descending over us in this part of Hyrule. I... I feel very cold all of a sudden, except there's no freezing temperature here.

"The only time and place where its freezing cold is in the Herba mountains or somethin'. Seriously, do you sense or feel anything at all, Zelda?"

Zelda stopped in her tracks, Link did the same, he could see a frown on her face, a puzzled look and small goosebumps were now taking shape and forming upon her arms and legs and she shivered.

"Y-Y-You know, L-L-Link!" Zelda's teeth chattered, "I-I-I th-th-think y-y-you're ri-right. I c-ca-can sen-sense something ominous looming overhead, it's l-l-like a d-de-demonic pressence is a-a-among us a-a-all a-a-at th-thi-this v-v-very hou-hou-hour i-i-i-its-itself."

Link had to look up at the sky, noticing that the stars were starting to twinkle and glow brighter than ever before, whenever the stars were glowing brighter than they usually should glow, that meant something was about to happen.

But the bright stars were not the only thing in the night sky, within seconds, Link's eyes widened as he finally saw the humongous Blood Moon with the angry face, rising higher and higher, surrounded by Calamity Ganon malice.

"Uh, Zel? You may wanna look up." Link held back his stammering and chattering teeth, "Guess what's in the sky, we got a big bad red moon rising."

Princess Zelda glanced up at the sky and, when the saw the Blood Moon, she gulped and her heart began to pound slowly.

"Oh," she exclaimed breathlessly, "It looks as though we have all underestimated the extent of Ganon's powers, the Blood Moon phenomenon is upon us again tonight, only this time its size and glowing powers have suddenly grown."

"Shall we seek a safe shelter for the night as we ride out the Blood Moon?"

"Yes, let us hurry, I can sense time speeding up and midnight approaching."

"How the heck is time speeding up?"

"Some dark force besides the Blood Moon is at work..."

"I'm starting to have a bad feeling about all this."

In the first few days after Ganon was defeated, good ol' Hino Bocob was not surprised the Demon King's forces were still scattered about, plauging Hyrule every now and then.

At night whenever the moon rose into the sky, Hino knew one thing, the Blood Moon would ocassionally happen and Hino would be there to see it happen. Of course, Hino was a geek, whenever the Blood Moon phenomenon took place, he went bonkers.

How bonkers? Hino would run circles about the area surrounding the Hateno stable yelling, "ITS HAPPENING, ITS HAPPENING! MY BLOOD IS BOILING, AH YES! ARISE, MONSTERS, RISE," while laughing like a madman.

Did anyone see him when that was happening?

Technically, the hero Link had come walking by the stable a few times on Blood Moon Night on his way to Kakariko when he saw Hino acting crazy. After the Blood Moon passed, Link approached Hino to ask him what was going on. Hino's response? "No idea."

Tonight, like in the past few nights, nobody was in the area to watch Hino and that freed him up to go crazy when the Blood Moon happened for a while. In the first minutes after the Blood Moon appeared, Hino sat upon the grass watched as its size increased and the face of the moon convulsed and shifted.

As the clock hit 11:30 P.M, the appointed time frame for when the Blood Moon started to affect the world, the warm summer night air became cold and the world became covered with smokey ashes and sparks, which floated up into the air as it emitted from the ground.

Hino got to his feet, a wicked smile crossing his face, feeling the goose bumps on his arms and his excitement bubbling. "Oh ho ho ho, YEAH!" He exclaimed, "BRING ON THE BLOOD MOON AND RISE ONCE MORE, MONSTERS! HA HA HA HA HA!"

He took off running across the field before turning right and ran past the stable before turning right again and ran towards the dirt trail, turned right and ran back to where he started, beginning his racing about in circles, laughing like nuts.

The stable owner was sound asleep, dreaming of cats and dogs playing with Cucoos and sheep, when he heard the sound of somebody laughing.

"What the..." Trusde Stead, the stable owner, mumbled as he awoke in his bed, his black eyes red, wanting to know what was going on at this hour. "Wutz gowing awn?"

Pulling on a robe, Trusde climbed out of bed and peaked out the window at the check in counter, just in time to see Hino running around in circles and shouting with excitement about Blood Moons and monsters rising.

Walking outside, he gasped when he saw the ghostly n' monstrous ash and smoke rising into the air, forming in the ground along with the black and orange spark specks.

"LOOK TO THE SKY AND LOSE HOPE, YOU FOOLS!" Hino yelled, running past Trusde on one of his laps, "THE BAD MOON RISES!"

Look to the sky... Trusde walked several paces away from the stable across the road, once he was on the other side near the pond below Dueling Peaks, the stable owner looked up and dropped to his knees, his heart pounding...

A glowing, reddish colored moon with an angry face, surrounded by malice and a dark red aura, had risen into the night sky. Its "eyes" gleaming, mouth open, baring sharp teeth.

It was the Blood Moon, the moon when affected by a great evil power. In the years since the Great Calamity itself, the Demon King's power had affected the moon to a point where every few weeks, the moon would rise, glowing blood red and revive or bring forth foes.

Trusde had heard legends, but he'd rarely seen the Blood Moon as he had been asleep on the nights. As the clock began to chime 11:49 P.M, the pitch black dark night began to change, the sky glowing blood red and dark-red clouds rolled in, thunder rumbled and lightning flashed, striking a tree and burning it away to nothing.

The ground rumbled and the whole world vibrated, Trusde, knowing what was happening, ran back inside the stable and ducked back into bed.

As for Hino, he was starting to get exhausted after all that running about and his voice was getting hoarse from all that laughing like nuts and shouting. "Ah." He panted, "Ah, I'm losing my breath and my strength. So tired, oh, ah!"

11:52 P.M, 8 minutes were left until the chime of midnight, the Blood Moon's power was starting to intensify and, as a side effect for some reason, Hino could hear explosions echoing in his ears followed by howls. While he was distracted...

KA BOOM! Blood red lightning struck Hino on the spot, the man screamed in pain as he burst into black-red flames and collapsed to the ground, it was pain beyond pain, he could feel himself fading, falling forever into blackness.

"NO!" Hino yelled, his voice cracked and his eyes rolled up in his head, his breathing stopped and his fleshy body burned away, then his skeleton, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Nobody would know what became of the Blood Moon maniac.

Atop the Dueling Peaks, Demise reviled as he took in everything, cackling even as the glowing that surrounded his ghostly form began to intensify even more, a red aura surrounding him and his inhuman eyes gleaming with the moonlight.

Ghirahim was cackling, flickering back and forth between his Dark Fi-like form and his white-gray skinned form, holding his black swords up, laughing too.

Elsewhere in Hyrule, a certain Joyata Yutowya had set up camp near the Great Plataeu after a long afternoon of walking upon leaving Yiga Hideout, beginning his quest to find Link and seek out his assistance.

Without allowing his "fellow Yiga" to notice, he'd packed a sleeping bag and a bundle of wood and fire arrows (in case he needed to camp) and now, since it was dark, he'd decided get some good night's rest until daylight came so he'd continue looking for Link.

When the Blood Moon rose and its effects started to affect the world, Joyata was sound asleep. But now, Joyata had been awoken by the sound of rumbling thunder and explosive lightning as well as monstrous howling.

The second he woke up, he spotted the monstrous Blood Moon and the malice essance engulfing the world as it went up into the red sky.

"Shit!" Joyata exclaimed, imedietly packing up his camp, "Gotta move..."

Climbing out of bed, Joyata rolled up the sleeping bag and grabbed his weapons, stamped the remains of his campfire wood and made a run for it, eager to find shelter in any caves to evade the full height of the Blood Moon's power.

"C'mon, c'mon." Joyata groaned, whenever Blood Moon night occurred, he was safe inside the Yiga Hideout, nothing bad about to happen. With his defection from the clan happening, Joyata had to use a building or a cave or a shrine for shelter from Blood Moon fallout.

2 minutes left on the clock, the Super Blood Moon was now hiding behind the dark-red clouds as more lightning flash, the coldness was turning into blazing hot as if it was a smoking hot desert.

Joyata quickly spotted a Shrine structure close by, the Waku Jata Shrine, and ran inside onto the elevator which glowed as he was taken down underground into darkness below.

Elsewhere in Hyrule, Link and Zelda had found shelter in an old shack that was in good condition and were in bed, cuddling together for warmth, hoping to be safe from the rising monsters.

11:59 P.M on the clock, 33 seconds remained until midnight. Every innocent creature and wandering light spirit braced themselves, knowing what was to happen. The villainous laughter and monstrous shrieks increased by the second.

Atop the Dueling Peaks, Ghirahim had assumed a fierce and cloaked form, baring claws and fangs.

Demise?

He was now ressurected at last, his see through had faded away, replaced by his monstrous physical form, eyes blazing with hatred with his sword raised to the sky, glowing brightly in the blood-stained moonlight.

Midnight loomed closer. Eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven. Ten seconds left! Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE! MIDNIGHT, 12:00 A.M!

"The Super Blood Moon rises!" A ghostly voice echoed, speaking in the minds of millions from Gorons to Hylian Knights to Link and Zelda, even as they slumbered or cowered in fear. "Be on guard, the spirits of beasts slain by the light, return to flesh, a great evil has risen and many more foes are on the rise."

The Blood Moon emerged from behind a cloud with a roar.

Across Hyrule, malice and smoke swirled and converged together as fallen Bokoblins, Lynels, Moblins and other vicious creatures, who'd served Ganon, rose from their graves in not-yet restored ruins and other encampments.

Explosions errupted as Hinoxes and monstrous skeletons crawled up from the depths of the Earth in the mountains, canyons, snowy fields and the Gerudo desert.

Even the corpses of Yiga soldiers, Talus rock monsters and Lizalfos were reanimating, Demise, as if he could sense it, cackled deviously, "Hyrule. Will be. MINE!"
