Well, this is kind of exciting. The First Review!

Spidey(Guest): Well it may be a while until he does, I can assure you that he will appear in this story, plus I don't want to rush his introduction into the story, maybe after the Kaine arc?

Luke looked on to the school in shock as this was the first time he had seen it in its current state from the outside, there were holes everywhere which he could only assume were made for entry points, it looked like it was on the verge of collapsing, Luke was doomed to continue to stare at it until a female voice broke him out of his trance. "Crazy isn't it?"

He turned around and to see a black haired girl who he guessed must have just turned 18, she wore what appeared to be a regular crewneck t-shirt wearing a black leather jacket and a great scarf over it, she also wore some sky blue skinny jeans and to finish it off with some big black boots. She was also very well built for her size, even though she had a lot of clones on he could tell that there was a lot of muscle under there, at first glance she seemed to be as tall as Ava, but it will seem that whoever this girl was, she was taller, given the fact that this soles of her feet are closer to the ground than able to usually are.

"Judging from the visible confusion on your face, I can only guess that you don't know who I am, my name is Jessica Jones, Midtown High's local private investigator and currently head of the Midtown School newspaper." She introduced herself, although Luke didn't know why, they hadn't met before prior to this incident.

"Oh, uh, hi? I guess, I don't know how to proceed with this conversation." He admitted.

"I can tell, so I'm going to help you out here, I'm going around and asking everyone who was in the cafeteria at the time and conscious during the incident what they saw and you're the last person nice all coming from there and also coincidentally the last person on my list so, can you tell me anything Mr….?"

"Cage. Luke Cage. You can just call me Luke though, but to tell you the truth, barely remember anything, one moment and unconscious the next, sorry to disappoint." He wasn't exactly lying, but he definitely wasn't telling the whole truth, which was understandable, when would definitely questions towards the seemingly normal high school student who with somehow fighting off semi-trained soldiers, Jessica simply smiled and took out her notepad, immediately beginning to write on it.

"Here, my number. If you ever remember anything, just call, okay?" Luke examined the piece of paper, it was definitely a real phone number, phone number with some surprisingly beautiful handwriting for a girl like her, but a number nonetheless, he did not know how to proceed as she put her notepad back in her purse before quickly leaning up on her tippy toes and his ear. "Oh and try not to take too long, a girl like me doesn't like to be kept waiting, Power Man."

He didn't even give a chance to say anything as she just turned around and walked away, even though she just addressed him by his alter ego, he just let her walk away and somehow it was something about it that he just really liked watching her do, for some reason Luke got the feeling that he was going to let her walk away often, but he didn't get a chance to think about it any longer before his blonde brother in arms came and took him out of his thoughts. "So uh, who's the very unlucky woman?" Danny poked.

"I don't know, but something about her makes me want to find out."

"Well, good for you buddy, but you should start clearing your head now, I got to get you back to the Helicarrier to get you debriefed." Luke looked forward again to see that she was gone and sighed as he put his thoughts about her into a box to be opened another day.

"You think the desks are still functional?"

"I don't think SHIELD would put them there if they weren't in situations like these." Danny stated as the duo ran back inside the school seemingly unnoticed, but from a distance Jessica could be seen watching them before walking away.

"-and what would and what would you like me to do with said flowers, Mr. Osborn?" His assistant asked, her question pertaining to his request for flowers to be sent out after a long day of work.

"Have them delivered to Ben Parker's grave and given to his widow: May Parker and tell her nephew to call me." He responded.

"Okay then, will that be all, sir?" He nodded as she actually got ready to leave the room before her earpiece suddenly went off, stopping and taking the second to answer it, she immediately turned around to face Harry, much to his confusion. "It would appear that Midtown High has been attacked and left in shambles and there's apparently someone named-Elizabeth… Allen downstairs asking for you, supposedly she was brought here by the police, now this could be a set u-"

"Bring her up, if the story is true then it's entirely possible that she lost her phone in the explosion, and she couldn't reach her mom so she called me." She nodded before going and doing what was asked of her, closing the door on her way out naturally out of habit.

"Liz Allen…" she was now the only thing on his mind at the moment, she just had a way of completely taking over his thoughts and he had to admit, it was going to be weird seeing her again after all this time, he would always ask MJ about her and how she was doing, but the redhead would always respond with something among the lines of "Ask her yourself, you still have her number and she's not going to change it anytime soon" of course he knew that, he just didn't know how she would respond, before he would have been ecstatic that she was here, now he's wondering how she would feel about him after all this time, obviously she didn't hate his guts too badly if she could still recite his phone number from memory, but still the thought of it still bothered him.

Harry was many things but he definitely wasn't afraid to admit that he was at his happiest with her, she had somehow managed to take the giant weight of his father and make it disappear, then both their dads came out as supervillains and to this day he knows that that was never the reason the relationship failed, even though her dad was the Vulture she never let her feelings for him falter, Harry just didn't reciprocate those actions, so he ended the relationship with the mindset that she was better off without him dragging her down and to this day he still partially agrees with that sentiment, believing that if he were to ask her to get back together with him now that it would make him selfish and it would be like asking her to put up with him being buried in his work and never being able to make time with her, he had seen what that kind of thing would do to a relationship through his father and mother's marriage.

Harry didn't realize it back then, looking back on his memories of his mother, it was quite obvious that the woman wanted nothing more than to leave Norman, but stayed because she knew if she left she wouldn't be able to take her son with her and Norman knew that, frankly Harold was ashamed that it took him this long to realize that he was nothing more for his father than a pawn to get his mother to stay and he was honestly confused as to why Norman even kept him around after his mother's death. He didn't get the chance to take on it any further as his assistant finally walked in with his unexpected guest. "Right this way, Miss Allen." Then she walked in, looking just as beautiful as she did the day he let her go, standing in place after she had laid eyes on him as his assistant left and close the door behind her which startled her a bit, the pair then made eye contact, just staring at each other in silence, not knowing what to say, Liz was feeling a bit embarrassed because she had to come up with an entire plan on how to approach him and was failing miserably.

"So uh, it's been a while." Harry started.

"Yes it has, Harry."

"So what brings you here?"

"I'm sure you already know or at least can guess."

"Just trying to make conversation." he admitted, "though, do you need anything? If so then Bernard ca-"

"No, I'm okay. I just, wanna take this chance to, y'know, talk." she said that she sat down in one of the chairs in front of Harry's desk, albeit very awkwardly though he chose to ignore it, although it's very cute watching her try to imitate what she would call "rich people etiquette" and feeling horribly, even trying to put one leg over the other to look more formal and watching her sit there and distress on trying to decide what leg to put over the other he suddenly began laughing, which immediately call her attention and make her put on a pout face. "Stop laughing, Harry!"

"HAHAA-I'm sorry-Hehe-you really don't have to be so formal, you're trying to get a conversation out of me not a job and you're very good at talking Liz, so this shouldn't be that hard for you." He said, still recovering from his burst of laughter.

"Wow! You're not even reeling back after potentially insulting me, you did change." She joked. "The old Harry would have come up with 51 reasons as to why he didn't mean it in that way by now and now you're just sitting there with a smile on your face, a pretty desk in front of you, I see you fully completed your transition into Mr. Corporate."

"Well I have you know, Miss Allen. If it wasn't for Mr. Corporate, I would have lost all my assets, my company, and my dignity, plus Bernard would have been out of a job and I would like for the man who's been a better father to me than my biological one to keep being able to have a roof over his head." He joked as he looked up to see that Liz was staring at him awkwardly, not knowing what to say next. "Oh don't worry I'm not angry after the Mister Corporate joke, so please don't get the wrong idea, but to be completely honest I don't really do much here."

"Really? How is that?" She asked.

"Well after my father's, um… incident, Oscorp was given a bad name and if some of the board had their way, they would have booted anyone with Osborn blood running through their veins from the company and try to rebrand, but they soon found out that my father's condition was cause for his will to be enacted early, of which made me the majority shareholder, thus those on the board who wanted to boot me couldn't without a unanimous vote, though I do have to constantly participate in running the company or else any value they saw in me before were magically disappear and they all would want me gone."

"No offense Harry, but that doesn't sound like "not having to do much" to me, especially when I pretty much know the gist of all of this."

"I'm getting there. Recently the company's been focusing more towards looking good to the public eye and to do that we have to ensure that the public doesn't believe that Oscorp is a threat to them just because there's still a Osborn at the helm, to do that we have to make sure that the public doesn't see me as a bad guy just because of my biological relationship with Norman." He explained now standing up as he walked around his desk over to Liz. "So thanks to SHIELD and their connections in the media and my abnormally dashing face and charisma, the public believes that my father manipulated and controlled me to make sure that I didn't say anything about what he was up to, so that his actions would fall solely on him, to be fair that information isn't exactly lies, he did control and manipulate me, but just enough to make me believe that he was a good person."

"So to make a long story short, Oscorp needs good publicity because without it we get no business deals, or at least no business deals from non-shady companies, so for the most part when I'm not cooped up in this office all day, I could probably be found at some kind of gathering or gala, solely there just to stand there and look pretty because no matter who my father is I still somehow managed to be eye candy."

"Well that sounds about right." Liz agreed, much to his dismay, Harry didn't much care for the thought of only being recognized for his looks because pretty privilege was just something that was shitty from its practice to its concept, he had to admit that it did have it's uses sometimes, a lot more times it was a hindrance rather than a privilege, but the people who could pass his looks were more often the same people who could look past his money, the greatest example being Peter Parker, Pete only ever saw The Man behind the cash, in fact he was one of the best examples of money not making the man, which was easy to see when you knew of his financial situation.

But what Harry admired most about him what's the fact that no matter what problem he faces, no matter what hardship he goes through, the bastard always finds a way to bounce back, but enough about thinking about Parker, Liz was his focus right now. "I guess it does, doesn't it?" he thought. "Hey Liz. Um, so I uh, I heard you got into ESU."

"How did you know that?"

"Well that depends, do you want to hear the non-creepy lie or the very concerning truth?"

"Wait don't tell me, you didn't pull strings to get me in did you?" she asked her face turning to full worry, after having Peter as her tutor she had become obsessed with being independent and wanting to do everything herself, which was not a bad trait to have, but it did get in the way when he wanted to help her with something she couldn't possibly do herself. "Alright, very concerning truth it is!" he thought to himself.

"Oh god no! I would never do that unless you asked me to, but rather I um… poked my head in to see what was going on since I figured you might have been applying soon and while I was there, I may or not have made a small donation of $84,000." He tried to say the total number under his breath so she didn't hear it correctly, but she heard him all too well as she instantly recognized that number.

"YOU PAID MY ENTIRE COLLEGE TUITION?!" she exclaimed, her brain taking a second to process what he did.

"Well that and anything you might need throughout the entire duration of your stay at ESU, it's the extra 10K."

"OMG! I don't know how I could ever repay you!" she screamed, before realizing something. "Wait, you said you gave them $84,000, my entire four year tuition only costs 32, so who's the rest of the money for?"

"Peter, now to be clear, he's actually the one I pulled strings for and the other reason I made a trip to ESU because I know that even with how smart Pete is there was still a chance he wasn't going to get because of his financial situation, so I did what any normal best friend would do."

"Which is?"

"Waved cash in some greedy bastard's face until his lips were firmly planted on this tight ass of mine." He smirked, of course the guy didn't physically start kissing his ass, but he might as well have been. "Now Peter's future at ESU is pretty much guaranteed, but he'll never know that I'm the one who sealed it, if he did he'd tell me to take it back and I'd have to force him to keep it, I love Peter like a brother, but that's just an entire process I'm not willing to go through. Now sure down the line he'll definitely ask questions as to why he hasn't had to pay anything and put it all together, but by then it would be too late for me to take it back and he'd be forced to keep it."

"That is a lot of trouble to go through from one guy, I guess you're not lying when you say you love him like a brother, but why me?"

"I think you know exactly why."

"I think I do too."

They both were standing up now, facing directly towards each other and looking at each other in the eyes, both of their movements staggering, not knowing what to do next, until Harry started speaking again.

"But either way, you got into ESU! I believe that's a cause for celebration, don't ya think?"

"Yeah, yeah, I definitely do."

"Good." He immediately backed up, putting some space between two, stepping behind his desk and grabbing an opened bottle of whiskey from the bottom drawer, he gestured the bottle towards Liz in a manner of offering her some quickly found that she declined before pouring a shot for himself and quickly downing it before speaking again. "Okay um, how about dinner, Sunday night, around 7 o'clock?"

"That sounds wonderful."

"Great! I'll come get you at 6:00."

"Wait, you're coming to get me? What about Bern-"

"Sorry, he can't do that, I've enforced an no work on weekends policy for Bernard, as per request of his daughter, apparently he's been really bad on keeping in contact after his wife died and he always tries to bury himself in work, so I enforced days off on him, now he'll only let me give him two, but his daughter lives all the way in Massachusetts, she goes to Harvard, courtesy of my father. So each time he goes to visit, the private jet that gets him there just so happens to be unavailable for flight again for another 48 hours, giving his daughter another two days with him." He explained. "So yeah, Bernard leaves in about 3 hours, so I'll be coming to pick you up, plus I think it will be good, it's been awhile since I've last seen Sofía."

"Oh gross! I forgot you two were on a first name basis!" Harry laughed while she cringed, "Why?! Why did you have to remind me of that?!"

"Because I knew it would bother you, duh." He joked. "But seriously, I think your mom should know that you're not going out to dinner with some random rich guy and last I checked she liked me."

"Please, she tolerated you for the sake of me,if it wasn't for me getting her to stop she would be still cursing your name to this day."

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Let's just get you home, shall we?" He said, grabbing some car keys.

"We shall."

Ben's eyes tore open as he sprung up his badly beaten torso, not knowing where the hell he was, he began recollecting the events of that day, from lying to MJ to his brawl with Kaine all the way to him getting blasted through two walls by a Sonic gun, of which he can still feel his injuries from. "Holy shit! that thing packs a punch!"

He surveyed his surroundings, instantly recognizing where he was, this warehouse was a never forget, but at the same time, it also made him worrisome because only five people knew about this location with three being offshoots of one of the original two and he was willing to bet who brought him here, especially on such short notice. "Y'know, you heal very quickly, which makes me wonder how many scars and bruises has Peter been able to hide over the years."

A feminine voice said, which she wasn't exactly wrong about, somehow just an hour of rest did wonders for bruises, which was the reason Peter liked to sleep in whenever he was to be able to get the chance to, Ben didn't bother touching his face to check nor trying to match the voice to the person as he and anyone with a functioning brain knew who it was, so he simply just laid back down, not bothering to look into her direction. "First, I would just like to say I'm sorry and that if you wanted to channel all your anger at Peter, I'm fully okay with that."

"Sorry? I've been lied to for 3 years and all you have to say is sorry?!" as they expected, she was pissed and understandably so, "Plus you don't get to pin this all on Peter, Ben!"

"I know, it was worth a shot, but MJ you have to understand why we had to do it."

"What I understand is that not only has my best friend had superpowers for YEARS and not trusted me enough to tell me, but he also has clone siblings! One of which he let me fall head over heels for without either one of them ever thinking it appropriate to tell me THAT HE WAS A DAMN CLONE!" That last part made Ben gulp, he wasn't even offended by the fact that she kept referring to him as Peter's clone. "Do you know how weird that is?! To have romantic feelings for the clone of a man you swore that you didn't have feelings for?"

"Well you must understand that it's equally weird for me, MJ. But we wouldn't keep this from you if we didn't have a good reason." he said, standing up so he was in a better position to take a hit if need be, "While I go along with Peter's decisions, that doesn't mean I completely agree with them, but I have to because the way I see it, he should've been the one to tell you, not me, this is his life, not mine, his secrets are not mine to tell, I will admit that I did agree that keeping this half our lives a secret from you was the best course of action for now."

"But why though, look at you! Not an hour ago you were beaten to a bloody pulp! If I had known I could have helped a lot mo-"

"That's why we had to keep it a secret from you! Cuz we knew you'd want to help Mary, but we can't let you do that." He interrupted her before she quickly returned to favor.

"To hell you can!"

"To hell if we can't! These powers of ours have already claimed the lives of too many people we care for and we refuse to sit around and let you get yourself killed because you got caught up in this life!"

"Oh so it's okay for you two to put your lives on the line for this city, but I can't? BULLSHIT, Ben, BULL. SHIT."

"You know we've had that argument thrown at us before and the last time we let… the last time we let someone we care about help in this damn crusade THEY WERE THROWN OFF OF A FUCKING BRIDGE!" This caused her to freeze up, she knew exactly who he was referring to, as a matter of fact, the woman he was referring to was the reason she originally swore off Peter, but while his last statement temporarily stopped her in her tracks, she refused to falter as her face riled up again. "These powers have already claimed the lives of Ben Parker, George Stacy, and Gwen Stacy and we refuse to let it take yours too!"

"You don't seem to understand that while what happened to her was tragic, I AM NOT GWEN STACY!" At this point the argument was getting heated, thankfully Sam has already left and didn't have to hear any of this as the pair were just beginning to yell at each other back and forth. "If you can risk your lives, I can too! But I wouldn't just be doing it for the sake of the city, I would be doing it to make sure that you bastards actually make it home to May every night because no matter what you may think, SHE STILL WORRIES! If anything it's the fact that she doesn't know what you're out doing that worries her more! God forbid something happens, how do you think she's going to feel if one night, her nephews don't come home, that she had to find out through the news that they were living a double life? Or that one of them wasn't really who they said they were? You two think that keeping this secret is for the best, but never think about how anyone else feels, do you not understand that?!"

At this point Ben could see the tears forming in her eyes, but he could falter her either, he had to stand his ground, at the very least he needed to make her realize. "Yes, of course I understand!"

"Do you?! You could have fooled me!"

"I perfectly understand, but it's you who's not understanding as to why you can't help us, because unlike us and like Gwen Stacy, YOU BREAK EASY, for our enemies all it takes is one punch to take you from us, one clean shot and you're gone!" he grabbed her as he yelled, tears streaming down both of their faces, "We could save Ben or Gwen, but I'll be damned if we can't save you!" Suddenly, within a moment, their faces clashed together in a passionate kiss, Ben grabbed a hold of her tightly as he deepened the kiss, telling himself to never let go.

While Peter moved on from Mary Jane Watson, for some reason Ben never could, one of their many differences he guessed, for some reason Ben was just drawn to the red-headed girl next door, he then started kissing her harder as his mind flashbacked to that night, to their "first kiss", but he didn't want to think about that right now as both participants continue to deepen the kiss as he began pushing her up against the wall, although he didn't recognize it at first, Ben began feeling a new feeling, soon to be recognized as lust, but suddenly the kiss was broken as the pair both took the chance to take in the deep breath.

MJ's hand found its way on left cheek and unlike her hand, his face was warm, really warm, as the pair stared each other in the eyes, Mary could see that Ben wanted more, but now was definitely one not the time or place, "Just because you're his clone doesn't mean you have to be overprotective of me like he is, if you want this relationship to have any chance of working out and then I need to know that there's at least a good chance that the man I lay beside will come back home to me and not dead in someone's alley."

"You know I can't."

"What I know is that you're scared and understandably so, but I'm really not asking for much, I'm not asking you to stop being a hero or anything, but I don't feel comfortable entering a relationship with a man who gives me a constant feeling that I'm going to end up a widow someday." She stated, the silence between the two ever growing. "I like you, I really do, despite all the Clone shenanigans, I can tell that you're your own person, but there is one important trait of Peter's that I need you to drop, but until then I'm sorry."

The two shared another passionate kiss before she left, some time after she did the Scarlet Spider fell to his knees in frustration, as he let out a fit of rage in the form of a primal yell and him punching through a wall, using his other hand to squeeze his mask as hard as he could, he let out another yell as he grabbed a metal pipe and threw it across the warehouse as hard as he could nearly almost hitting someone and finding itself large inside of a wall.

"We heard the yells and cries of a man bitch and thought we might have found Kaine, although I guess this is just as good." Jess said as she landed on the ground after dodging the pipe.

"Jesse, I don't think now it's the best time to be teasing him." Said another voice that he instantly recognized as Peter. Ben simply just fell to his knees again, cracking the concrete as he punched it, today was just not his day and Peter could see that, "c'mon buddy, we gotta get you ready."
