Almost a month passed by peacefully with Kamiko under the protection of the Ground Zero Hero Agency. There were some inconveniences at first with being under constant surveillance, which includes the lack of freedom to go places without the company of a hero, as well as having to move her work station around constantly between the agency, home, and school.

Fortunately Kamiko only needs her computer and a tablet to work on her manga, so when she's at the agency, she mainly works on her manga, while she does her schoolwork either at school or at home when she's being watched over by Bakugou.

Living with Bakugou has been surprisingly more beneficial than anything else. Except there was that one time...

"Hey shitty woman where are the-" Bakugou opened the bedroom door and immediately halted when he found Kamiko in nothing but her undergarments. She had her arms in her tank top but hadn't put it over her head yet. Blood instantly rushed to his face and his eyes were immediately drawn to her-

"Aaahhhh! Get out!" Kamiko screamed as she grabbed the nearest manga near her and threw it at Bakugou. The book smacked Bakugou right in his forehead, sending the man stumbling backwards.

"WHAT THE FUCK WOMAN?!" He shouted.

"That's my line! Haven't you heard of knocking?! Now close the damn door!" Kamiko screamed at him.

Ever since then they set up an "always knock" rule. And beyond that incident, Bakugou had been very professional, and a great addition to Kamiko's life. In fact, ever since Bakugou started living with Kamiko, she has found herself in a much better physical condition than before. Eating three healthy meals a day really improved her energy level throughout her days.

"I'm done with the shower, you're turn." Kamiko walked out of the bathroom with a pink towel draping over her wet hair.

"When I finish this," Bakugou replied.

"Wait, is that the last popsicle?!" Kamiko exclaimed when she saw the thing in his hand. "I wanted that!"

"Fuck off. I paid for it!" Bakugou growled at her as he shifted the hand he held the popsicle with away from her protectively. It was mid-June and the temperature has gotten significantly high, and the air was quite humid too. Bakugou and Kamiko literally blast the air conditioning to keep themselves sane.

Kamiko let out a mix of a groan and a whining noise as she plopped down on her bed, flopping around like a three year old. "Stop acting like a fucking toddler, you're getting everything wet!" Bakugou shouted.

"Why do you care?! It's not like you're the one sleeping on it!" Kamiko retorted.

"Because you're the one that's gonna whine and complain about it all night long while I try to sleep!"

"Fair point." The woman got up from her bed and grabbed the blow dryer from the drawer in her desk. She normally lets her hair air dry, but in this humid weather, that was near impossible. Bakugou finished his popsicle and popped the stick into the trash can before he made his way into the showers.

When Bakugou got out of the shower he walked into the bedroom to find Kamiko watching gay porn on mute, flipping through scenes to find a "nice camera angle."

"Oh my god not that shit again..." Bakugou muttered.

"Come on you should join me! It's very educating," Kamiko chuckled as she turned around from her desk, pausing the video on a very graphic moment.

"How the fuck is two guys fucking each other educating?" Bakugou frowned.

"Well I meant it in the filmography aspect of it. This studio actually takes the filming very seriously. Some studios just put the camera on a table and have some guys fuck, but this studio catches it from all sorts of angles, and really goes for that movie production kind of style. Lemme show you! Like, right here, they film from above, whereas here, they film from below to really get a first person point of view-"

"Shut the fuck up for once! I did not need to know all that!" Bakugou cut her off impatiently.

Kamiko rolled her eyes, for she was already used to such reaction from him. "Well I'm just saying. Since in manga we often have to express a lot of things in a limited amount of panels, so it's important to use the optimal angle and poses to really show the reader the gist of what's going on while keeping it short," she said.

Bakugou groaned at the force fed information. Over the past few weeks he's learned too much unnecessary information about the manga creation process. As interesting as it actually is, knowing these things serve him literally no purpose.

"Anyways, I have a day off of duty tomorrow, so if you wanna go somewhere, tomorrow is your ch-"

"YOU MEAN WE CAN GO OUT?!" Kamiko flipped her body around so she peaked out from the back of her chair. Bakugou was taken aback by her sudden enthusiasm, eyes widened by the sparkles in her eyes. "Can we go shopping?!"

"There something you need to get?" Bakugou asked with his brows furrowed. "Online shopping is a thing you know."

"But that's not the same! Online shopping is just... Scrolling through things, but going out and shopping is like, real shopping!" Kamiko exclaimed.

Isn't online shopping is real shopping too? Bakugou thought.

"Plus, there is something I wanna get!" Kamiko said.

"What?" Bakugou asked.

"Are you curious?" Kamiko smirked. "If you're really that curious I don't mind telling you~"

Ten large ticks appeared on Bakugou's head as he burst with annoyance, "FUCKING SHIT I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU WANNA BUY! IT'S PROBABLY SHITTY ANYWAYS!"

The next day Bakugou and Kamiko left the house around ten in the morning. Bakugou wore a pair of baggy army green pants ripped at the knees and a black t-shirt with a skull design on the front. What really surprised him today was how much Kamiko had dressed up. She wore a champagne colored short sleeve blouse with laces on the bottom and collar, and on the bottom she wore khaki short shorts and heeled sandals. She even put on a set of silver dangling earrings and some light makeup.

It's just shopping, there's no need for dressing up, he thought. Though he had to admit the half up half down hairstyle really changes her temperament. Even though it's not even noon yet, the blazing summer sun has already made it unbearable to walk outside. Bakugou seriously regretted agreeing on this outing. Though with all this perspiration going on it'd be a perfect day to take down criminals, Bakugou would rather use his day off and eat some watermelon or something.

Just as he was clicking his tongue due to the burning sensation on his skin, Kamiko pulled out a parasol from her handbag. She stepped closer to him and held the parasol over both their heads, shielding Bakugou from the sun rays. "I'm not a baby, I don't need this," Bakugou growled at her.

"Oh, that so?" Kamiko replied with a smirk as she walked more to the side, distancing herself from Bakugou, but the man just followed her and joined her under her shade.

"Well, it's not bad," he grumbled in annoyance.

"You really need to learn to be more honest Bakugou," the artist chuckled. There was a low rumbling in the depth of his throat as Bakugou looked away and scowled. He walked with his hands in his pockets, a little bit hunch backed because Kamiko held the parasol a little low due to their height difference. Noticing that he wasn't exactly comfortable under the parasol, Kamiko raised the parasol a little, but they soon arrived at the metro station, so she just put the parasol away.

"It would be pretty convenient if we had a car wouldn't it? Then we wouldn't have to walk in the sun," Kamiko said. Bakugou hummed, not really interested in her conversation. "But then that wouldn't be very eco friendly, especially since Japan's metro lines are so convenient, right Bakugou?"

"Whatever," Bakugou muttered as they scanned their metro cards and walked into the station to wait for their line. There were quite a lot of people in the station since it was a Saturday. Kamiko smiled when she saw a few kids playfully slide on the slippery tiled floor.

"Well I mean it's not like you heroes need cars since you guys always walk around when patrolling," Kamiko said. "Plus with your explosion thing, you can get to places in a jiffy!" The metro arrived as she was talking, and the two squeezed in together. Despite it being a weekend, and outside rush hour time, there are still a lot of people on this metro line, because it's one of the only lines that leads them to central city, where the biggest mall is located.

Bakugou held onto the handle overhead, but Kamiko was too short to reach, and she was stuck between him and four other men on all sides, making it impossible to grab anything for balance. The metro door closed, and soon the train started to move. Oh shoot! Kamiko felt herself losing balance at the sudden acceleration. She took a baby step back for balance, but it wasn't enough to prevent her from bumping into the guy behind her, until she felt something snake around her waist, something firm. She looked up and saw Bakugou staring at her in annoyance.

It was common etiquette in Japan to stay silent on the metro, so Bakugou didn't tell her that she's a "fucking shithead" like he would've usually, instead he just glared at her and clicked his tongue. A smile tugged on Kamiko's lips as she also wrapped an arm around Bakugou. "Thanks for the support, he-ro," she whispered quietly, stretching out the word 'hero' teasingly. Bakugou was tempted to pinch her in her side flab, but he didn't want to make her scream inside the metro, so all he could do was glare at her.

Kamiko was enchanted by a sweet, sweet aroma. She leaned closer to Bakugou, gentleman sniffing to confirm if he was the source. He gave off such a sweet scent, like caramel on sizzle. That's strange. He uses the same body wash as her, Dove cucumbers scented moisturizing body wash. Why does he smell so different?

"Stop sniffing me," Bakugou hissed.

"Why do you smell so good?" She asked quietly.

"That's my sweat," he replied. Her eyes widened in confusion. Sweat? Is sweat supposed to smell this nice? "Nitroglycerin, remember?" Kamiko made an 'o' with her mouth at the reminder. She vaguely remembered that nitroglycerin is supposed to smell nice from her chemistry class back in high school.

"We are arriving at..." The PA announced the station name in a robotic voice.

"This is our stop," Kamiko said. There was a strong jerk as the metro came to a stop, and Bakugou tightened his grip on her waist. Kamiko felt her breath hitch when she felt his firm muscles against her chest. The softness of her breasts also didn't go unnoticed by Bakugou. He cleared his throat as he let go of her while most of the passengers got off at this stop. They arrived at the center city square. There was a sea of people in and out of the metro station, and Kamiko was easily pushed around by the crowd surrounding her. It was then that Kamiko remembered that kids are often separated and kidnapped in places like this.

Suddenly something grabbed her by the wrist. A chill fan down here spine as she turned her head, her body stiffening up in alert. She exhaled deeply when she realized it was Bakugou, letting her heart which had almost stopped beating go back to pumping blood. "Don't get lost," Bakugou said teasingly as he noticed the nervous look on her face. His lips curved into a crooked smirk. Badump!

What was that? Thought Kamiko. She placed a hand over her chest. Bakugou pulled her out of the metro station, and across the street, following the large flow of people going in the same direction. She stared at his face as they walked towards the mall. He faced forward, looking eager to get inside where there will be air conditioning. Kamiko couldn't help but smile at this handsome yet somewhat cute hero.

Bakugou let out a deep breath when they walked into the AC filled building. Once they were out of the crowd he let go of Kamiko's wrist and took out his phone. It was now past ten thirty. "What did you wanna get?" He asked.

Kamiko grinned at him. "Hehehe! Come with me!" This time she grabbed him by the hand and started dragging him inside. The mall was huge, and each floor was at least three meters tall. The tiles floor was a light greyish champagne tone. Each step Kamiko took with her heels made a loud click clack sound on the floor, and seemed to echo in the large, noisy hall.

Bakugou eyed their joint hands with a dumbfound expression. The woman stopped at a big map of the building. She placed her index finger over her lips as she scanned the map up and down. For some reason Bakugou felt his eyes attracted to the finger on her lips. His eyes trailed from her finger to her lips, then up her nose, and then stopped at her beautiful silvery eyes.

"First stop!" Kamiko exclaimed as she placed her index finger on the map. "Muji!" She turned her head and said to Bakugou, her lips stretched into a big fat grin. "Heehee!"
