Carly Fionira: Thank you so much for your comment! You never fail to make me smile! :)
Happiness had streaked through Callie like a comet. For a moment, it had felt as if Arizona had brought heaven to earth and stopped the world around them. All of her worries had disappeared in the blink of an eye, and Callie unearthed a greater joy than any she had ever known. Some people might call her crazy for falling in love with a Professor she had met only a couple of weeks ago, but Arizona had made her happier than she had ever been before, and she was so much more than just a University Professor. For the very first time in Callie's life, her heart had found a home and the one person who could make her soul rest in the midst of chaos. When Arizona looked at Callie, it was as if every ounce of breath was taken from the Latina's lungs, leaving her breathless and in awe of her. Over time, they had grown accustomed to each other's faces and the peace that would wash over them when they embraced each other. They had found something very rare and both Callie and Arizona would make sure to never let each other go.
"Arizona, you're going to make me cry. Of course, I want to be your girlfriend." Callie whispered. "There's nothing I want more."
The blonde's heart had almost burst with joy hearing the Latina say that. It was as if all of her dreams had come true in a matter of seconds and filled her heart with indescribable happiness. Arizona had moved to rest her elbows on the bed and stared deeply into dark brown and romantic eyes. The sparkle inside them had caused her heart to flutter and had made her realize exactly what Callie had been feeling, even though they both hadn't said another word. The blonde had never truly experienced being able to understand someone's thoughts and feelings just by looking into their eyes, but with Callie, she had seen and felt it clearly. Lauren had rocked her world and had been her very first true love, but meeting the Latina had made Arizona realize her previous relationship couldn't compare to Callie and their blooming relationship in the slightest bit. The blonde had only known her for a few weeks, yet her feelings and affection towards Callie had already been stronger than for Lauren. Arizona had also known if communicating were to become a problem one day, their eyes would always help them out.
Arizona placed a loving kiss against Callie's lips and felt the Latina smile against her lips. "You make me so happy, Calliope. I know it's not going to be easy, and hiding our love and relationship from others is the last thing I want to do, but I...I don't know what else to do."
"I already know I'm never going to leave you, but maybe we should wait awhile before making it official. If we ever tell the head of the University, I want him to know we're something serious and not just fooling around." the brunette explained. "I know how much you love your job, and as much as I want to show you off to everyone, I think we need to keep this under wraps for a long time because it could get us in real trouble."
The blonde sighed at Callie's words. She had known the Latina was right, and the last thing she had wanted was to get in trouble, but it was hard not to be able to talk about her or to kiss her and take her into her arms at work. Callie was right when she said how much she had loved her job, but the Latina had already meant more to her than a job she could get anywhere else.
"Yes, I love my job and I don't want to leave here or get us both into trouble, but if I know one thing, it's that I want to make us work and if one day I have to tell Mr Webber, it will be worth it." Arizona smiled, reassuring Callie she had meant what she said.
The Latina smiled back and leaned in to kiss Arizona. "I...can't…believe...someone...like...you...wants...to be...with...someone...like...me." Callie said, kissing her over and over again.
"I can't believe someone your age is interested and in love with someone like me." Arizona teased, not trying to hide her amusement.
"Hey, it's not like you're that much older than I am." Callie laughed and hit the blonde's shoulder playfully.
"And, yet I'm old enough to be your Professor." the blonde teased, watching Callie's eyes darken.
"I didn't hear you complaining when you got to fuck me earlier." the Latina said, letting her hand wander lower to squeeze the blonde's ass.
"Touché." Arizona groaned, the brunette's hand making the warm feeling in the pit of her stomach come back. "Calliope...you're, you're turning me on with your naughty words, but we need to sleep early for the last time this week."
"I know...but you feel so good on top of me." Callie breathed, the need to sleep with Arizona taking over her. "Please."
Arizona couldn't help but moan. "If you're a good girl tonight, I'll make sure to reward you when we see each other next week."
Callie's eyes had widened at the blonde's words. "What do you mean, next week? Are you not going to see me on the weekend?"
"I wish I could, but my best friend Teddy and I are going on a little trip over the weekend. We haven't been able to spend much time together lately, so she asked me to come with her a few weeks ago."
"Oh, okay." the Latina sighed, her eyes saddening. "I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too, sweetie. But, I'll be back before you know." Arizona smiled. "Let's sleep?"
"Yeah, let's sleep." Callie whispered, forcing herself to smile back. She had tried not to make Arizona feel like she had to be with her all the time, but she couldn't deny that she had looked forward to seeing her on the weekend.
Arizona had gotten off the Latina and laid down, wrapping her hands around her body and snuggling up behind her. The heat from between Callie's legs had made it hard to hold herself back from turning around and stroking Arizona underneath the blanket, but a part of her hadn't wanted to look desperate, so she had tried to control her breathing and closed her eyes. After a while, the two women had fallen asleep in each other's arms and neither one of them had ever felt so safe before.
Soft rays of sunlight had shone through the bedroom window and tickled Arizona's face softly, causing her to wake up from a deep and restful sleep. The blonde had blinked a few times, trying to get used to the brightness in the room, and caught a glance of the Latina sleeping next to her. Callie's chest had risen and fallen slowly, letting the blonde know she had still been fast asleep. Arizona had never watched her sleep, but when she had noticed just how relaxed and beautiful Callie had looked, a wide smile had formed on her lips. She was all the blonde had wanted and waking up next to her had been even more incredible than Arizona thought. The distance between their bodies had been too wide for the blonde's liking, so she had snuggled up behind Callie again and rested her chin on her shoulder. Callie had been so warm and soft and had made it hard for Arizona to accept the fact they would have to get up soon. When the blonde thought about having to get up, she had turned around to look at the time and froze when she realized how late it had been.
"Shit!" Arizona cussed, causing the Latina to wake up.
Callie let out a groan, feeling the sun shining on her face. She had forgotten to close the curtains last night, and she had hated being woken up by sunlight. This time it had been Arizona who had woken her up, but Callie had preferred to sleep in a dark room and wake up with the curtains protecting her from hurting her eyes in the early morning. The blonde's cussing had pulled her out of her sleep forcefully and made her want to scream in frustration.
"Arizona...why are you screaming...like that." Callie growled, annoyed by how she was woken up.
"We should've gotten ready 30 minutes ago, Calliope!" the blonde squealed, but the fact that Arizona had still called her Calliope in the middle of freaking out had made the brunette smile.
"Shit, I'm sorry!" Callie apologized and quickly sat up on the bed, rubbing her eyes. "I should've set an alarm, but I forgot."
"Don't be, sweetheart." the blonde smiled and placed a short, yet loving kiss against her lips. "Come on, let's get ready. We have 15 minutes if we want to be on time."
Callie had never thought getting ready in fewer than 15 minutes was a thing, but with Arizona, she had always learned something new and was stunned when they had sat down in the car and the blonde started driving. It hadn't taken them long to get close to University because Arizona had driven like a crazy person, but Callie had enjoyed sharing the same car with her and being so close to her hot Professor. When they had been less than a block away from the building, Arizona parked the car and checked their surroundings before leaning over to kiss the Latina passionately. Callie moaned into the kiss and drew Arizona closer, but after a few seconds, the blonde had slowly pulled away a little and rested her head against Callie's forehead.
"I hate to be doing this, but I can't drive to University with you inside my car." Arizona sighed, wishing she could take Callie with her.
"I know, don't worry." Callie whispered, reaching out for the blonde's hand. "Mind me passing by your office before I go home today?"
"I'd love that, honey." Arizona smiled. "I'll see you in class in a few minutes."
The Latina placed one last kiss against her lips and opened the door of the car. "See you."
Callie had walked into the building two minutes before her lecture had started and breathed heavily when she sat down next to her friends. Arizona had tried not to pay too much attention to the gorgeous Latina, but the big smile on Callie's face had made it impossible to hold back a wide grin. Mark and Meredith smirked when they had noticed the way the two women had grinned at each other, and Meredith let out a soft laugh.
"You two really are in love with each other."
Callie smiled, her eyes still fixed on Arizona. "Yeah, we totally are. She asked me to be her girlfriend last night."
Mark's eyes widened, not believing what he had just heard his best friend say. "Woah, you two are a couple now? That's dope!"
"Shhh! Keep your voice down!" Callie hissed, looking around if anyone had heard them, but no one had paid attention to what they were saying. "But yeah...I honestly can't believe she's my girlfriend now."
"Wow, Callie." the blonde gasped. "I'm so happy for you, but you can't make it official, can you?"
The brunette's eyes saddened. "No, we can't. I want to, but I guess we have to stick to sneaking around and meeting up in private."
"I'd like to see what's going on behind the scenes. You guys must be pretty damn hot together." Mark smirked.
Callie rolled her eyes at her best friend's words. "I'm definitely not going to let you watch us and I won't share any details with you, dickhea-"
"Excuse me, Ms Torres." the hot Professor interrupted her. "Is there anything you'd like to share with the rest of the class? You seem to be pretty engaged in a conversation while I'm trying to start my lecture."
"No, I'm sorry, Ms Robbins. I won't interrupt your class again." Callie said, a little overwhelmed by the way the blonde had let her feel her authority. It had been quite arousing, though.
Arizona smiled, finding a little fun in teasing the brunette. "Thank you, Ms Torres."
"Well, that was hot." Mark whispered, causing Callie to roll her eyes.
The lecture had helped Callie to understand a lot more about what the Professor had tried to teach them over the past few lectures and made her feel more confident about doing well in her first exam. Arizona had made sure to prepare the class for the upcoming exam, and Callie was sure if she had needed help, the blonde would explain it to her again. The Latina hadn't wanted or tried to get information about the actual exam, but a little help from her favorite kind of Professor wouldn't hurt to help her prepare. For the first time since Callie had met Arizona, she had managed to focus on the lecture without getting distracted, and it had made her realize that having Arizona as both her University Professor and girlfriend had worked out well. When the lesson had ended, the two women had smiled at each other, but decided to spend their breaks alone to make their connection a little less obvious to other students. They had loved to spend time together, but both had known they would see each other again in the office.
The hours had gone by slowly, and neither Callie nor her friends had been in the mood to stay much longer. They had always felt this way on a Friday, but all the lectures, except Arizona's had been pure torture, making them crave to go home. It had become tiring and exhausting to listen to the teachers explaining things repeatedly, but even though the Latina hadn't looked forward to spending the entire weekend alone at home, anything had been better than staying at University and almost falling asleep there. Mark and Meredith had felt the same way, yet Mark had never tried to listen to anyone except Ms Robbins and Callie had genuinely wondered how he would pass the first semester. After what had seemed like an eternity, the friends had finally packed their bags and left their last lesson with their English Professor.
"Ugh." Meredith groaned as they walked out of the lecture room. "Please tell me how we're supposed to survive the next few weeks with that boring teacher."
Callie laughed sarcastically. "I have no idea. Let's just get out of here."
"Yeah, I can't stay here another minute. Do you want me to drive you home, Cal?"
"Oh, no. It's fine, thank you. Arizona asked me to come to her office before I leave." Callie explained, walking around the corner.
"Alright, I'll see you next week then." Meredith smiled and pulled her in for a quick hug before pulling away again. "Love you!"
"Love you too, Mer." the Latina smiled. "Bye, dickhead." she giggled and slapped Mark's shoulder.
Mark let out a frustrated groan. "Ouch! Bye, Cal."
Callie laughed and turned around to walk down the corridors to make her way over to the blonde's office. She had looked forward to this moment ever since she had kissed Arizona goodbye and her lower stomach had tingled thinking about her. Many students and teachers had walked past her on her way, but she had barely noticed them. Her thoughts had swirled around the blonde and how she had used her authority this morning. Something within the Latina had wanted to pay her back and take control in the bedroom for just one night, but she wasn't sure if they had been ready for dominance or to spice things up just yet. When the brunette had walked around the corner, she could see the blonde's office near the end of the corridor and walked a little faster. The closer she had gotten, the more nervous she had become. Callie hadn't really understood why she had been so nervous, but she had tried to ignore it until she had reached her office. No one had been inside, so she stepped closer. Just as she was about to knock on the door, she had noticed the door being slightly opened and voices coming out of her office.
"Come on, Arizona." an unfamiliar female voice said.
Callie walked closer to the door.
Arizona groaned, making the Latina's eyes widen. "Eliza...please."
"Who is Eliza?" the brunette thought, but was pulled out of her thoughts when she had heard something she had never expected to hear.
"You know you want me. I want to ride your huge dick until you come." the stranger named Eliza said seductively, causing tears to build up in Callie's eyes.
"Eliza."
The Latina had felt her legs trembling beneath her and heard a quiet whimper escaping her lips. Her heart had filled with a sadness she had never known before and the tears had streamed down her face uncontrollably. Callie hadn't seen the woman who had talked so dirty to Arizona, but what she had heard had been enough for her to turn around and run away as fast as possible. Her heart had raced, causing her to feel dizzy and as if she was about to pass out any minute, but her legs had never walked so fast before. In less than a minute, the brunette had exited the building and let out a loud sob. Thankfully, there had been no students around when Callie had first looked around, but when she had lifted her gaze after a few seconds of breathing heavily and the tears still streaming down her soft cheeks, she had spotted Meredith standing at the end of the street, talking to a student she hadn't met before. Wiping her tears away, Callie had walked towards Meredith and interrupted whatever kind of conversation they had had.
"Meredith." a soft, almost inaudible voice said. "Can you please take me home?"
"Callie, of course." the blonde gasped, noticing her best friend's red and puffy eyes. "Sorry, I'll...I'll talk to you next week?"
The young woman nodded. "Yeah, sure. See you soon."
Meredith turned towards Callie and saw the sadness and hurt in her eyes. The blonde wanted to ask what had happened, but the tears in Callie's eyes and her shaking hands had made Meredith pull her into a tight hug. The Latina had tried to resist and to push her away, but her friend hadn't let go and held her until Callie had wrapped her arms around her and let go. Heavy tears had streamed down her face and sobs escaped her lips. Her world had seemed to crumble in a matter of minutes, and the pain in her heart had never hit her so badly. They had stood there for a long time before Callie had pulled away and asked to leave, not wanting Arizona to see her standing outside, but she had seemed to be busy, anyway. Meredith had slowly walked over to her car with her arm supporting Callie. The blonde had never seen her this way, and she had desperately wanted to know what had taken place, but it wasn't the time to ask. The drive had been quiet, quieter than ever before, but Meredith hadn't dared to speak. The brunette had looked like she was about to lose it any minute, so the only thing Meredith had done was to grab her hand and to stroke it softly, making the tears in Callie's eyes come back, but it was exactly what she had needed. When they had arrived at the Latina's place, Callie had looked into her friend's eyes and squeezed her hand.
"Thank you. Thank you, Meredith."
The blonde smiled and pulled her into another hug. "If there's anything you need, call or text me and I'll be right there, okay?"
"I will." Callie breathed. "Thank you."
Callie wasn't sure how she had entered her apartment, but when she had, another wave of pain had overcome her and heavy tears streamed down her face, messing up her makeup. The Latina walked over to her bedroom to lie down, but everything in there had reminded her of what Arizona and her had done here a few nights ago. The brunette had never been a loud crier, she had been rather quiet, but this time, loud sobs and whimpers filled the room and had made her realize just how much the blonde had meant to her. Arizona had made her so happy over the last few weeks and the blonde had felt the same, but apparently, Callie hadn't been the only one who could make Arizona happy. The Latina had laid there for a while when she had heard her phone buzzing in her jeans. She had slowly pulled it out and clicked on the message.
Hey, I missed you today. Why didn't you come to my office? - A
If Callie hadn't been in so much pain, she would have laughed at her message. "Why didn't I come to your office? Seriously?" the Latina had thought, rage filling her body. Callie would have never kept her waiting. If something had come up, she would have texted her instead of not saying anything, but the Latina had been there, but what she had heard had made her run away.
Is it because of something I've said this morning? I'm sorry if I upset you, honey. - A
Arizona had been caring and loving towards her ever since she had met Callie, and a part of Callie's heart had warmed reading her message, but what happened in her office had hurt the Latina deeply. She hadn't needed to see what was going on because the voices behind the door had been clear. The brunette had looked at the messages on her phone more times than she could count, but she had decided to ignore her.
An hour had gone by and Arizona had become more and more nervous. She hadn't been used to Callie taking so long to reply, and it was weird that she had never come to her office. The blonde had thought about what could have possibly changed her mind, but the only situation she could think of was when she had used her authority this morning. Maybe it had upset her girlfriend, but the look on her face told her otherwise. Teddy and Arizona had already been on their way to their hotel, but the blonde hadn't said a word.
"What's up with ya? You're really quiet." Teddy asked.
"I don't know. It's just something with...with Calliope."
Teddy hadn't been able to look at her face because she had to focus on the road, but she could sense the discomfort and could almost hear Arizona's thoughts. "Wanna talk about it?"
"She didn't come to my office even though she said she would and now I can't get a hold of her."
"Did you try calling her?"
Arizona sighed. "No. Should I?"
"Um, yeah." Teddy giggled.
Meanwhile, Callie had tried to make herself something to eat because she had eaten nothing the entire day, but the tears hadn't stopped streaming down her cheeks. Her heart had never known pain like this before and even though they hadn't broken up, she had never felt so betrayed. She was just about to start eating when her phone had rung and pulled her out of her thoughts. Callie's eyes widened seeing Arizona's name on her screen, but she couldn't bring herself to pick up the phone.
"She's not picking up." Arizona groaned, worry filling her heart.
"That's weird. Did you do something to upset her?"
The blonde sighed at her friend's question. "I may or may not have used my authority over her this morning, but I was just trying to be funny."
"Come on, Arizona. Seriously?"
"She didn't look upset, so I don't know whe-"
"What?" Teddy asked, confused as to why the blonde had stopped talking.
"She texted me."
Can't talk right now. See you next week. - C
Calliope, are you okay? - A
Yeah. - C
The hours had gone by and Callie had calmed down. She had studied for her upcoming exams and had managed to get her mind off what had happened. It hadn't been easy to ignore her heart's pain, but studying had been a good way to forget about it for a few hours. Arizona had tried calling her again at night, but she had pretended to be asleep. She hadn't wanted to make the blonde feel bad, but she had known if she answered, she wouldn't be able to hold back her tears, and she hadn't wanted to cry on the phone.
The weekend had been pure torture for Callie because she had missed her girlfriend terribly, but she couldn't bring herself to call her. Her heart was filled with rage and disappointment and she had known she needed space, but it hadn't stopped her from missing Arizona. The blonde had texted her many times over the weekend and even though Callie had replied, Arizona had known something was terribly wrong. She hadn't been able to enjoy the weekend with Teddy at all, because all she could think about was Callie.
On Sunday, Callie had finished studying and sat down on the couch to relax for the first time. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, feeling the air filling her lungs. It was quiet for a moment, the only sound being the clock ticking in the back of the room. Suddenly, she had heard a knock on the door and froze. Who would knock at 8 in the evening? She had expected no one, but she walked over to the door and took another deep breath before slowly opening it.
"Arizona?"
