"what if he gets hurt , what if the kids are mean to him , my parental instincts are freaking out!" Said Luz worriedly

Eda , King , Tess and the twins were now at a children's playground

Mostly watching King as he tries to climb up a slide

"Don't worry , Tess is there as wel_" said Luis before noticing that Tess was alone on self made swings "never mind"

"Luz he's fine" said Eda smiling "look at him"

"He does look like he's having fun" said Luz cooing over King "I wonder what little game he's playing"

"I wonder who Tess will fry for mistaking her for part of the swing set" said Luis tiredly "again"

"We should really do something about that" said Luz seriousness in her voice

As they said that a child flew out of the playground, black smoke coming off of them

Then King ran to Luz and Hugged her leg

"Eda! That monster took my throne!" Yelled King angrily

"You mean the baby?" Said Eda mockingly

"No! The usurper! I want you to go out there and blow him up! Blow him up! Kaboom!" Said King

"Kaboom!" Said the usurper

"Yeah I'm not using Owlbert to blow up a 5 year old" said Eda smiling "he's got better things to do , like this"

Eda then scratched Owlbert belly

"Aww , what a sweetie" said Luz cooing over Owlbert "how did you get him?"

"Get?! I made Owlbert from the branch of an ancient tree" said Eda as she put Owlbert on her shoulder "he's my palisman and we're bonded for life , I'd annihilate anyone who'd wanna hurt him"

"Does it have to be an ancient tree?" Asked Luis curiously

"As far as I know ,yes" said Eda smiling

Hearing this Luis frowned a little

Seeing that Eda wasn't gonna do what he wants, King turns to Tess

"Tess!" Said King "blow him up!"

"No" said Tess tiredly "I think I had enough of children today"

Then she grumpily climbed onto Luis's lap (don't ask how)

"Are you gonna get off?" Asked Luis

"No!" Said Tess grumpily

"You're that annoyed kids mistake you for a toy" said Luis raising a brow

"Hmph!" Said Tess angrily

Luis rolled his eyes and noticed King flopped on the ground

"Oh man! Here we go , King's squeak of rage" said Eda smiling

Then King got up and Squealed like a tea kettle

Eda laughed at this

Then Luz noticed something on Owlbert's foot

"Hey what's that?" Asked Luz curiously

"That's his interlock" said Eda smiling "so he only fits onto my staff every_"

Then Eda passed out

"Oh my gosh Eda!" Said Luz worriedly

"Lay her on the bench!" Said Luis worriedly

Luz and Luis laid her on the bench and waited

Luz kept calling for Eda while she was asleep

Luis only stared worriedly

Then Eda finally woke up

Eda woke up with a shiver , before her eyes widened

"The curse! We have to get home now!" Said Eda seriously

"King! we have to go!" Yelled Luz

"5 more minutes please!" Replied King standing in front of the usurper

Luis rolled his eyes

"Tess" said Luis tiredly

"On it" said Tess throwing a rope that wraps itself around King

"What?" Said King in confusion before getting dragged by tess "this isn't over!" He yelled at the Usurper

And they went back to the owl house

"I'll go get your elixir" said Luz worriedly

"Don't worry about it , I'll get it myself in a bit" said Eda flopped on the couch

"Not encouraging" said Luis frowning

"Do you want me to stay here and take care of you" said Luz smiling "I can put King in a little doctor's outfit , Tess can be a nuuurse"

"I'd rather use legs for a straight week" Said Tess frowning

"No one wants to see that" said Eda tiredly

"I do" said Luz with a face that says obsession

"I know how to take care of myself , I've had this curse for longer than you've been alive" said Eda tiredly

"How did you even get it?" Asked Luis

"Ugh I don't know" said Eda tiredly

"You don't know how?" Yelled Luz

"Someone gave it to me , but I don't care who because I'm fine! Alright!" said Eda whining "anyway don't you two have plans with *insert Eda nicknames for Gus , Willow and Gemma here*"

"We'll all of us are going to the grudgby game between Hexside and Glandis high" said Luz

"Since when are you two into sports?" Asked Eda tiredly

"Since I found out about a little thing called Hexside pride!" Said Luz happily

"Since Luz started blackmailing me" said Luis frowning

"I got some help from a certain someone" said Luz smiling cheekily

"She bribed me!" Said Tess happily

"Traitor" said Luis narrowing his eyes

"Well! I don't need your sympathy , it's gross" said Eda getting off the couch "go! Go have fun at sports!"

"Hooray sports!" Said Luz happily as she left not forgetting to give King some hugs and kisses

"Hooray" said Luis in a bored tone and Tess followed "No grudgby for you Tess , you'll stay here with Eda"

Tess stopped with surprise showing on her face

"What?!" She asked Angrily

"That's for blackmailing me" said Luis crossing his arms "aaaand because I worry Eda might turn into a beast before she drinks the elixir"

"Ugh! Fine!" Said Tess annoyed "record everything!"

"I'll try" said Luis before turning around and left with Luz

"Hexside's gonna wreck your side" said Luz trying to come up with a good catchphrase"no no no maybe.."

"How about, 'You're about to fall in the Hexed side'" said Luis making finger guns

Luz just went silent for a few seconds

"Ac_" said Luz but was cut off by Luis

"Never again" said Luis narrowing his eyes while frowning

Luz just shrugged and they made it to Hexside

Gemma was wearing the normal potions track uniform

And Luz immediately fools around with Gus and Willow

Luis and Gemma looked at them smiling

"So you made it!" Said Gemma smiling

"I was blackmailed by Luz" said Luis tiredly "you must be excited , sports are a piece cake to you aren't they"

"I don't know what you mean by cake" said Gemma looking away "but I'm banned from Grudgby"

"Wait really?" Asked Luis in confusion

"Well , having one of my kind on a grudgby team is labeled as an unfair advantage" said Gemma "you know , multiple limbs , perfect eyesight and hand eye coordination"

"So you who's body's is perfect for a sport" said Luis raising a brow "are banned from it , ironic"

"Never really thought of it like that ,but yeah ironic" said Gemma smiling with a little blush

"Wait where did Luz go?" Asked Luis as he noticed Luz was gone

"She was wearing Glandis colors , so she went to change" said Willow smiling

"No! They're gonna leave without us" said Gus pointing at the school's demon method of transportation "maybe we can... go without her?"

"Gemma , Willow , would it be wrong to punch a child?" Asked Luis staring at Gus with narrowed eyes

Gus gulped in fear

Then Luz burst out from Hexside's doors , doing a leg split , bones creaking were heard

"Well , I never did that before" said Luz in the split position "uh where is everyone?"

Then Luz saw the transportation demon boat thing fly away

Then Luz went down the stairs

"Oh no! Come back!" Yelled Luz " why didn't you guys board the bus?"

"We weren't going to leave you behind" said Willow smiling

"I was" said Gus looking away

"My question still stands" said Luis narrowing his eyes

And Gus gulped again

"Am I missing something here?" Asked Luz

"No , it's nothing" said Luis rolling his eyes "how about we think of another way to get to Glandis"

"Right" Said Luz seriously

I'm going to something stupid

So I thought I should balance things out by ending the hiatus
